A friend of mine recommended a plastic surgeon named Eric Choe to me and said that his experience with Dr. Choe was special and memorable. I went to see Dr. Choe about the gynecomastia that I have been insecure about ever since I was in college. Talking to Dr. Choe, he insisted that I did not need to get the surgery and made me feel more confident in my body. Dr Choe help me correct my one of my sleepy eye and it came out perfect! Since the price different was not that high I had both my eyes balanced out. It did take a week to heal with very minor bruising and 10 days to completely heal. His staff is very professional and friendly. Dr. Choe is an amazing plastic surgeon! My mother (she is 71) had eyelid and brow lift surgery a couple of months ago, and now she looks absolutely fantastic. There was quite a bit of swelling for a few weeks after the surgery, and we were quite worried about how her eyes would eventually look. But after about 8 weeks, her eyes and brows look quite different and a lot better than before. She looks the same, but also definitely younger. Also, I would like to commend Dr. Choe and his staff - they were extremely nice and professional, and I must say that Dr. Choe was very thoughtful and thorough in explaining the entire process and procedure. Dr. Choe and his team are exceptionally friendly, attentive and skilled. I had an upper blepharoplasty done a week ago and could not be happier with the results. Dr. Choe truly took the time to address my concerns and has great bedside manner. He is very meticulous and did an excellent job as the results of my incisions are perfect. I am surprised by how quick my recovery is going-the eyelid creases look very natural with no visible scarring. Giseld called me a week before my procedure to remind me of the pre-op instructions and the day before to make sure I was set. She also followed up with me after the procedure and the next day. If you are considering any cosmetic procedure, I would highly recommend Dr. Choe and his staff!

In December, I met Dr. Choe for an eyelid surgery consultation. His office in Manhattan is convenient to get to with MTA stations around the area. When I first stepped into the office, I was greeted by the front desk staff and nurses who were as kind as can be, and helpful. I filled out some paper work and met Dr. Choe within 10 minutes or so. Dr. Choe checked my eyelids and he recommended the crease size that he thinks will make my eyes look natural and beautiful. For me and I imagine most people, I did not want to lose the integrity of what I look like (ironic, I know); I did not want to step outside and look totally different and not myself. I also asked him for his opinion on whether or not I should also do my lower eyelids since the puffiness in my lower eyelids also bother me a little bit. Dr. Choe clarified that what I had in my lower eyelids were not eye bags, therefore I did not need to do the lower eyelids. During the entire consultation, I felt very comfortable and I trusted Dr. Choe’s professional assessment. I never felt pressured to get anything done. He truly is one of the kindest doctors I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient. I always feel better about life in general when I leave because he’s so easy to talk to and he truly cares about his patients. A few weeks later, I decided I’m going to do it – I’m going to finally get eyelid surgery. I called and scheduled for end of January. About a week prior to the procedure, the nurse called me with preliminary instructions on what I should be doing. She also filled prescriptions for me at the pharmacy so I can have the antibiotics ready after the surgery. The day before, she called again with more detailed instructions. The nurses and staff at Dr. Choe’s office never miss anything! They were always on top of it and were always in regular contact with me. I also felt that if I had questions, I can call at any time. On the day of the surgery, I had a very light breakfast, no coffee. I arrived early in the morning. The nurse checked my blood pressure, heart rate, etc… She also gave me some medication to relax and took a few pictures of my “before” eyes. Then, I changed into a hospital gown and was led to an operating room. For me, I had wanted this procedure done since I was in high school so I have read a lot about it. I had heard from other patients who had this procedure done that the initial shots to the eyelid can be painful. However, I felt no pain when the shots were given. Actually, I felt no pain or discomfort during the entire procedure. I was awake and alert, with Dr. Choe and the staff talking to me. About an hour later, I was led to a room to rest. The nurse put an ice pack on my eyes and I rested for a little bit. I then called an Uber and a staff member walked me to the Uber outside (in the snow!) and she helped me put the ice pack on my eyes for the ride home. She said to call her if anything happens – she seemed really worried about me but I told her that I was going to be OK! My eyes were bruised and swollen as I expected, but after about 3-4 days, I was comfortable with leaving the house and going outside. It’s now been a month or so and I LOVE my eyes. I get compliments all the time but for me, most importantly, I am happy that I did this procedure for me. I like looking awake; I like that wearing makeup on my eyes is a little easier now, I just LOVE the way they look - so natural and pretty. I am so elated that I got this done with Dr. Choe. I feel so lucky and appreciative to Dr. Choe and his staff for taking such great care of me and going above and beyond! I highly recommend Dr. Choe to anyone who is considering getting eyelid surgery. He is the best!

I had an accident and hurt my nose last week. My nose was cut and was bleeding. I was not sure if I needed to run to ER, broken nose or what to do.... I call the doctor's office and asked to speak to the doctor. I explained the situation and he asked to see the picture of my nose. After he reviewed the 2 pics that I send to him and he called me back to let me know that my nose is not broken and adv me with few tips on how to take care of the wound. Plastic surgery for any reason is a vulnerable & often private, certainly long-considered choice that is permanent. Walking through the door, I was offered a cool glass of water, and a non-frenzied warm & accessible staff of calm & polite people. This already was an accurate preface of what to expect upon meeting Dr. Choe. I've been wanting to get double eyelid surgery for the last 10 years and I finally had the guts to go through with it. I was originally going to shop around to see how I felt about the different plastic surgeons in NY. But when i went for my free consultation with Dr. Choe, I was enamored with his polite staff that made me feel very welcome and the feeling was only increased when I got to sit with Dr. Choe himself. Most doctors I've met are quick to dismiss patients once both parties have the necessary information but Dr. Choe was different in that he really wants to know the patient. We had a great conversation over my motivations for getting plastic surgery and he really wanted to make sure I was getting the surgery for the right reasons. You can tell that he wants the best for his patients and he never made me feel pressured to get my eyes done. I was so impressed by him and his staff that I decided to book my surgery on the same day. The office manager explained the whole procedure and the booking process was seamless. Leading up to the surgery, I was reminded of my appointment several times which I appreciated and I was given an instructional booklet that outlined things to avoid so that the surgery could be done without any complications. When I finally got the surgery, I was so shocked at how easy everything was. Due to the local anesthetic, i didn't feel any pain and I was taken to another room to rest right after the surgery with someone to check up on me every so often. After the surgery, i did feel some soreness but it still wasn't painful. The nurses and office manager helped me get a cab back home and even called to check in a few hours later. I cannot begin to explain how pleased I am with this experience. I was always able to reach someone with questions and we've had several follow up appointments to discuss how I was healing. Thank you to Dr. Choe and his amazing staff. I finally have the eyelids I've been wanting since I was a kid :)

I usually never write reviews, but felt compelled to share my experience because it was exceptional . Dr. Eric In Choe is the most passionate and caring doctor I have ever encountered. As soon as you meet him, you can feel his compassion for his patients and his professionalism. I was very adamant about having a natural, yet fuller teardrop shaped breasts and Dr.Choe listened to what I wanted and he promised to do the very best as a surgeon. The day of surgery, snowy day, I was feeling a bit apprehensive but Dr.Choe and his entire staff including anesthesiologist were so accommodating and helpful. The surgery went smoothly and I expected to be in a lot of pain after; however, I only felt slight discomfort the following days and I was able to go about my normal days. For anyone who is looking for natural looking breast implants, don’t waste your time and give Dr.Choe a call. You won’t regret it. He is willing to listen and make his patients HAPPY!!! its been two months since my double eyelid surgery and I cannot be happier. I love the results! Dr Choe and his staff are all wonderful. They are all polite and extremely helpful. They called me one week prior to the surgery to explain medication and what I had to prepare. They called me again the day before to make sure I was all ready. Dr Choe called me in the evening after the surgery to see how I was doing and told me to call his cell at anytime if I had questions or concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Choe.

He and his staff, who are not only professional, but genuinely caring, made sure I was ready for my surgery and prepared for the aftercare. The surgery itself went extremely well, without any complications and I was at ease the entire time. The healing process was easy and his staff made sure to check up on me the days after my surgery.
