I cannot even begin to put into words how amazing my experience was with Dr. Rizk and his team in his office. I am in the health care profession and I can tell you that this was a flawless and amazing experience from the entrance into the office for my consultation to my first postoperative appointment. The staff is knowledgable, professional, through, and attentive. You really can call anytime with questions and they are always nice and reassuring. All of my paperwork regarding my surgery was so easy because of his amazing office manager, Dila and staff. Usually this is something I loathe handling and spend hours on the phone with the insurance company trying to figure out what goes where, but they took care of all of it! As far as Dr. Rizk, he is one in a million. I have had issues breathing through my nose for several years and have seen other ENT's. No one thought to go beyond scoping my nose and doing a CT Scan to see what was going on in my sinuses. Dr. Rizk is extremely competent. I never felt so comfortable and trusting in a physician in regards to addressing fixing my structural issues in my nose. As far as the rhinoplasty, Dr. Rizk was wonderful. I saw other surgeons before him and none of them recommended changes that I felt were what needed to be done. I am so happy with my nose. I am only two weeks post op and already you cannot tell that I had surgery. I have no scars externally, which was something I would have had if I would have used any of the other surgeons I would have seen. My nose still looks like my own, just improved and refined which was exactly what I was looking for. Not only can I breathe better, but I am more confident. As far as the surgical experience, it was amazing. The facility the surgery takes place in is also outstanding. The nurses were wonderful as well as the anesthesiologist. I have had surgery in the past and was dreading having it again based on my last experience. This time it was great. I was able to go home in two hours. I never had to take one percocet my entire post operative recovery. I only took tylenol and not for pain, but discomfort and pressure. I only had one small bruise. Dr. Rizk and his office manager Dila called me the day after my surgery to see how I was doing. I am so impressed by Dr. Rizk and his team. I would recommend this practice to anyone and trust Dr. Rizk and his team 100%; Believe me that's something that is difficult for me to say. I am so thankful that I used him for my surgery.

Dr. Rizk is a miracle worker. He transformed my daughter's nose and face after being born with Potter's syndrome. Her nose looks so natural and has made her feel so confident in her appearance - it's been life changing for her. I don't know how anyone can possibly have a bad comment to make about Dr. Rizk or his staff. I will start with the office staff. They are the most professional and the most friendly staff I have ever encountered. They are welcoming and go above and beyond their duties. Yes, Dr. Rizk may spend more time giving his advise and that is only because we are born with a nose/a feature and he can give us the best possible feature based on what we already have. He is the expert on what that should be and not us. Our expectations at times may be unrealistic. But having said that, I did get my time to voice my expectations and concerns and every single time I spoke to Dr. Rizk the conversation always ended with "any questions?" I was completely confident in his expertise and explanations and I would recommend anyone to him! I would like to thank the staff, the anesthesiologist, and Dr. Rizk for making my experience exceptional!

He is top. Completely professional. Supremely skilled. He is a master at diminishing lines and filling creases. A master at Botox and all the fillers. Knows where to start and when to finish. Nothing overdone just the right amount. He has a sure and practiced hand. He is gentle. He listens. He knows. Dr. Rizk provides a top notch experience. I am still giving 3 stars because I have not done much or major with him. He is lacking around the surgery. The prices are ridiculously over priced. Of course a lot of mainstream advertisements as well. I appreciate Deala reading emails without consults, but they shut down a lot of people, I bet even after a $350 consult they would have no problem, it even states on their website. Only go to him if you believe you need a very extensive surgery, usually with older adults, if not there are many many many other options and remember your experience is individualized, I would not go by reviews, do your research for a while.

THE BEST !! My eyes were uneven, asymmetric and I looked very sad and tired at 35 yrs.old. I worked in a very upscale health club in Manhattan and my image was not helping me at all ! Beware of this doctor. He’s great at marketing and advertising, his surgery skills not so much. He claims to do hundreds of rhinoplasty a year yet he rarely posts updated photos because he only posts his best results! Also, his staff write tons of fake reviews, especially after negative reviews surface. Check his positive reviews on RealSelf and you’ll see that most have no photos and are left by accounts that were created the same day the review was posted with no other activity. Just watch how many glowing fake reviews will pop up after I post this.

Excellent at what he does and focuses solely on certain parts of the face such as the nose and only minimally invasive facelifts. I will say he’s not know for being the cheapest in price when you have a city full of choices but far worth it when it comes to going under for your face. I recommend him highly and his staff highly. When I saw Dr.Rizk's web site I got excited. At the time 2011 I had a terrible accident. I phoned his office and made an appointment.I traveled from New Jersey to Manhattan. When I went into his office his staff looked at my nose and asked me what I wanted! I felt self conscious enough and here I was in Dr.Rizk's office being questioned and laughed at by his staff. I told them I had an appointment they looked for my name and said they could not find it. And, they told me that I would have to come back another time because they said the Doctor is busy. Then I saw the Doctor pass by, he quickly looked at my face and shook his head no to his staff. Again his staff was laughing at the break in my nose. I felt really badly. He made me feel really depressed. This Doctor is a big fake,he will not work on anyone's nose that is not a minority. Dr Rizk should be arrested and have his licence taken away.He is prejudiced against whites. And his staff are low class ignorant uneducated pigs. PLEASE, DO NOT GO TO TO THIS DOCTOR, HE IS A BIG FAKE AND IS MONEY HUNGRY, HE WANTS FAME AND FORTUNE AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT A PATIENTS FEELINGS. AND, HE IS NOT A GOOD SURGEON

Dr. Rizk and his staff were amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better experience or outcome. From beginning to end, I was treated with care and professionalism. Dr. Rizk knew exactly what I was looking to achieve and did just that. I can now breathe perfectly and my nose looks amazing! I experienced no pain and didn't even need to take Tylenol. What Dr. Rizk and his team did with me was absolutely fantastic to use an understatement. I really don't know where to start : from Frances which kindly addressed all surgery and post surgery concerns the day before, to the nurse who prepared me for the surgery (don't recall her name ....was too nervous :-) !) which was fantastic in trying to calm me down and reassuring me , from the Anesthesiologist which made the whole anesthesia process a totally smooth time, no pain at all ,no nausea at all , no anxiety at all , he carefully took into consideration my concerns of an agitated awaking and made that the more relaxed and easy after anesthesia awakening, to Tatiana which took out my splint and stitches without the smallest discomfort for me, from you who have been always available in addressing all my requests and organizational queries with an incredible sweetness and dedication which made myself feel at home though I was alone 4000 km far from my country and of course until Dr. Rizk the most important piece in this chain of perfection : I really do not know how he managed to do something which to me seems humanly impossible, I am 30 days after surgery and I am seeing incredible results; he exactly delivered what we agreed ,giving perfectly natural results however far better than starting point ,nobody could tell I had a nose job and though my nose is far better than original one , he has been able to address exactly the points of unhappiness I had without touching all the rest , it's more than surgery , it is pure art . I invested a lot in this thing and can say without any hesitation of any kind that it was totally worth it. Totally . They are a perfect team , unique in the world ! I am a 52 year old white female, who has been a patient of Dr. Rizk for 8 years. In this time Dr. Rizk has performed an upper and lower blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty and lower face lift. Dr. Rizk has the eyes and hands of an artist, taking years off my appearance while maintaining a very natural look. Until posting this review, most people would never know I had any work done. I was appalled after reading the review from catty cass, on the treatment she claims to have received. Anyone who has been to Dr. Rizks' office can tell you he has the most professional and caring staff. It is absolutely absurd to even entertain the thought of his staff laughing at anyone that walks through the door. Dr. Rizk, being nothing less than a true professional, would never laugh at anyone who comes to his office. I have seen people from all walks of life in the waiting room. I really don't think Dr. Rizk operates according to ethnicity. In fact, I have referred many of my friends and family, who are not minorities and Dr. Rizk has seen them all. After reading a second post of a bad experience with a Manhattan physician, it leads me to believe, perhaps the problem lies with catty cass! Whatever the case may be, I will continue to go to Dr. Rizk and I will continue to recommend him as "The Facial Plastic Surgeon" to see.

Dr. Rizk is truly a master surgeon. I am one week out from Rhinoplasty surgery, just got the cast removed today, and I can't believe the results. Dr. Rizk transformed my nose from one that was hugely asymmetric with thick skin and a bulbous tip, into one that is now perfectly symmetric and beautiful. His eye for detail is exceptional, he knew and fully understood exactly what bothered me, and now looking at my nose in the mirror I can see that Dr. Rizk perfectly fixed every aspect of my nose that I was previously displeased with. An absolutely phenomenal experience, I am so happy and fortunate that I made the decision to have Dr. Rizk as my surgeon; I now know for myself that he really is best in class. Dr. Rizk and his staff provide EXCELLENT CARE! “ We cannot begin to express our satisfaction with Dr. Rizk and his staff. Each and every one them were polite, professional, and made my daughters experience as comfortable as possible. We went to Dr. Rizk after she had a disastrous nose job from another surgeon. It took us months to decide on a doctor for the revision and for my daughter to get the nerve up to undergo another procedure. From the first time we met Dr. Rizk he had our complete confidence. First he is very calming which in my humble opinion is a trait that should be required in this field. He is also very knowledgeable about revision nose jobs and discussed her options in detail. We spoke with at least 7 other revision specialist who wanted to use her rib, ear cartlidge, and possibly temporalis fascia. This was just additional stress, scarring, and heal time that my daughter did not want to deal with. Dr. Rizk was able to offer a solution that worked for her without taking those routes. When she came out of surgery not only was she not bruised she NEVER bruised. She was up and moving the second day like nothing had happened. The week after surgery she went in to have her cast removed and we were was so happy we couldn't stop smiling. The disaster of a nose she had before was now straight, smooth and beautiful. She looked like a real person again. He was able to restore her bridge and correct the damage to her nostrils which he along with other surgeons weren't sure would be 100% possible in their consults. He said he would give his best, because all is work is personal to him. When a surgeon will look you in the face and not overpromise that is when you know they are telling you the truth. Thank you Dr. Rizk you are a miracle worker! We couldn't write this review without mentioning his staff! Had a rhinoplasty done a few years back with this Doctor. Had congestion and breathing issues ever since the procedure. Came in for a visit 2 years after the procedure and he blamed it on allergies. I’ve tried every nasal decongestant/prescription medication in the book to get my nose back to breathing. Fast forward to today and I still have only about 20% breathing capability from my nose. Made an appointment to see an ENT doctor with over 30 years experience and he accurately told me the rhinoplasty is the cause and is most likely going to continue being this way. Dr. Rizk should be sued, he clearly sacrifices function for aesthetics.

I have recently seen Dr. Rizk for my 16 year old daughter’s surgery to correct septum as well as to enhance her nose cosmetically. Dr. Rizk is professional, knowledgeable, confident and kind. I did extensive research prior to choosing him and I liked the fact that he has expertise in all types of noses (meaning when it comes to different ethnicities). I travelled from Australia to New York for a consult - He examined me and said he could deliver very good results. It was pretty much set to go, however shortly after I fell pregnant and did not go ahead with the surgery. Now I am ready and made contact with the office who now tell me the Dr does not recommend surgery as he cannot give results that make an improvements. I'm so confused???? And soooo disappointed, all I have thought of over the last year has been this surgery... I am scheduled to have a Skype appointment at the end of the month for a 'please explain' consult. Let me preface and say that I am a healthcare professional and have done many patient consults in the hospital setting. With that, I flew in from out of state for a consult for a rhinoplasty revision and blepharoplasty. Upon arriving, I was pleasantly greeted and shortly after met with Dr. Rizk. I was not pleased at all with the consult, it felt extremely rushed and I believe I paid $300 for it in addition and it lasted maybe all of 20 minutes. I also don't believe I was asked once what my expectations / concerns were, but instead he told me what he could / would do. I realize that with fame and prestige also comes ego, but I would've booked surgery on the spot had the consult not felt rushed and I was just another dollar in his pocket. It may have been that the consult was on a Friday at the end of the day since I wanted to enjoy a weekend in NY to make the trip worthwhile and that staff and him wanted to leave, but this was no small investment of my time or money. I rated him 3 stars instead of 1, because there is no doubt he is a competent surgeon, but his "bedside manner" is completely lacking and I am not going to let someone operate on me that I don't feel assured and comfortable with. Hopefully, this feedback will echo back to him, because he could just be all that editorials claim him to be if he would spend a little more time "listening" to the patient and then giving his advice.

I had a revision rhinoplasty and chin implant removal with Dr. Rizk back in September 2018. This was a pretty scary experience for me since the first surgeon has completely botched my nose so I had my reservations about getting it fixed again. Dr. Rizk delivered amazing results but also kept me grounded in terms of my expectations and to be realistic, knowing my nose could never be "perfect,....yet he delivered perfect results. Dr. Rizk is an artistic genius and I would recommend him to anyone out there interested in primary and revision rhinoplasty. He is kind, brilliant, and definitely the best around.

I had rhinoplasty surgery with him about 8 years ago and regret the decision I made every time I look in the mirror. What's worse is that my breathing has deteriorated significantly over time; I was perfectly healthy before. It was my own poor judgement and insecurity as a young 20-something year old woman that drove me to get the surgery. If you were ever teased as a kid for having a "bump" on your nose or just generally have a large nose, you know how it feels. But before you take such a drastic measure, I urge you to talk to some of the people in your life who care about you, and get a second opinion. I guarantee you, the face you see in the mirror now (the original you)...is the one you will regret losing. You're going to be hard-pressed to find any cosmetic surgeon who will tell you this or talk to you about the long term consequences this might have, both mentally and physically.

Whether you are actually a real patient or most likely a jealous competitor..such comments about such a talented surgeon really should not exist. He is a genius as it pertains to facial plastic surgery..and most definitely a true artist and kind man.

My experience with Dr. Rizk, has been absolutely amazing. I knew about his work for years and when I finally stepped into his office I immediately felt welcome. He took the time to explain to me what had to be done to achieve the results I wanted. He gave me a website where I can do additional research to understand what’s to come. On the day of surgery I was very nervous but the staff specially the anesthesiologists (he is hilarious) made me feel so comfortable I quickly forgot I was nervous. I even went Into it laughing. When I woke up, I was so anxious and I will never forget the nurse that hugged me, my vision was blurry but I believe her name was something around Nola. The pain level from 1-10 was like a 3, I was so impressed. I immediately saw the change in my nose. It was very well define and the tip of my new nose was more than I can imagine. Dr. Rizk has given me a new found confidence. I love what I see, it looks so natural and I love taking pics. It has only been 8 weeks and the final results are still not in (final result 12 months from surgery). To finalize this review his RN Tatyana is a doll, she is so humble and sweet, I love her. Overall Dr. Rizk and his staff are the absolute best and I’m forever grateful for him bringing my vision to life.

Even though it has been a few months since I've had my consultation with Dr. Rizk for rhinoplasty, my experience was so unpleasant that I still feel obligated to give forewarning to whomever is considering a visit to this doctor. I'm not typically one to write reviews, but I ALWAYS read them before I go anywhere, or do ANYTHING; but because of how very disappointed I was, I felt inclined to share my experience. First of all, I was at there for all of 10 mins. I met him in his office (not even in an examination room) and I'm not even sure if he stood up to greet me. He was so unwelcoming and arrogant. He looked at me from the other side of his desk and in less than 3 minutes, gave me cookie-cut-rundown of what he would do. That was it. He sent me to the front desk, took my $350 for his consultation fee and sent me on my way with a 17k estimate for the work. He didn't even take time to take any photos or give me any idea of what to really expect. He treated me like I was just another paycheck and I felt so unbelievably disrespected. Selecting a doctor for a surgery of this nature is not a light decision, by any means. Nor, should you be made to feel that way, especially from the person that you're depending on to do it! Maybe, he's just used to a specific kind of patient; being that his office is located in the Upper Eastside, I'm sure he gets a lot of patients who are more acclimated to the world of plastic surgery, but I had a lot of insecurities and he made me feel even more insecure about the decision. Now, I'm not saying any of this to take away from his work as a surgeon. However, when it comes to choosing the doctor that you are entrusting with the responsibility of performing surgery at the center of your face, you want to feel safe with that person. Safe, is just not how I felt with Dr.Rizk, at all. I wouldn't rely on Google reviews when it comes to ultimately picking your doctor.. My experience with Dr. Rizk was great. From the moment I walked into his office I was impressed. His office was beautiful and elegant, with tremendous attention to detail but welcoming. I just felt good being there. There were lots of books on art and sculpture, which was a good sign to me. I believe that a plastic surgeon's artistic ability needs to be commensurate with his technical skill. After I met with Dr. Rizk I had no doubt that I would use him for my surgery. My main objective was a natural look. I went to Dr. Rizk for a rhinoplasty but since I was 57 years old at the time, I did not want my nose altered to the point that I looked substantially different . I had lived with it my whole life and I don't have the face for a small nose. In the first few minues Dr. Rizk met with me he assessed in detail my face and my nose, not just from a technical perspective but from an artistic perspective of the gestalt of my face. He told me what he recommended. I really appreciated his honesty and explanation of what he would do and why. The surgery went very smoothly - I was also impressed that he had my pre-op pictures on a huge flat screen monitor in the operating room. He did such a good job that unless you looked at me everyday you couldn't tell I had surgery. I just look better and more youthful and my droopey nose is gone!. He recommended the Mixto Laser and once again the results were superb - the wrinkles and drying that I attribute to menopause were gone. His office staff and medical personnel were great. Not to mention that he has his own operating facility at his office which makes surgery all the more bearable. I would not hesitate and will use him again. Like the furnishing of his offce, he leaves no detail of the agreed upon surgical procedure or your experience in his office unattended. I had a revision rhinoplasty done by DR. Rizk and i have nothing but great things to say about him and his staff. We'll start with the staff which was a pleasure to work with from start to end. Every phone call i made with them was pleasant, every visit i had was pleasant. The nurses are terrific and have a sense of humor. Now for Dr. Rizk. He is truly gifted. He has the type of skills that make him second to nobody in the field of facial plastic surgery and more specifically in rhinoplasty. I presented with a severely crooked nose from my boxing days, i had a pollybeak deformity in the tip of my nose and i had a hanging columella. The doctor was somehow able to manage all of that and leave me with such a natural looking and masculine looking nose. Osteotomies are hard enough but the tip work is where the real skill is at and DR. Rizk gave my nasal tip the support it needed without giving me an upturned, feminine look. Right before I found Dr. Sam Rizk, my nose - and all hopes for feeling like myself again - were all but destroyed. I had a previous rhinoplasty gone wrong, that was continuing to warp and change my nose for the worse each month. I had started to deeply regret trying to fix my original nose which originally seemed too short and wide and made my whole middle third look out of balance. When I met with Dr. Rizk he immediately validated my thoughts and concerns for how my nose was too wide and short and upturned for how strong and long and masculine my face was. His eyes saw and volunteered the same thoughts I had before I even said them! He said it was going to take MANY advanced techniques, and the very best he had to offer, to not only make my nose longer and narrowed, but to clean up the disaster that the previous surgeon had made inside by using an ear cartilage graft. He told he that I wasn't breathing out of one side since my septum had deviated so badly to one side. He gave me hope and encouraged me that with: *A nostril ring graft *Carefully selected and preserved cadaver rib bone *MedPor tip implant *Silicone injections, and *His years and YEARS of nose reconstruction artistry he would make it right again. HE DID EVERYTHING HE SAID HE WOULD AND MORE. Look at that list, how can one surgeon accomplish all of that in such an incredibly tiny workspace/canvas as a nose, while undoing the damage from a previous surgeon? He said he wanted to continue to make the tip a bit longer like we had originally planned and agreed on, but he said it should be done slowly over time to make sure my nasal tissue on the tip would accept the silicone injections without danger of blood flow. He has continued to honor his word, and every few months I fly to NY to continue to refine my nose with him without extra charge, and he said we will continue to tweak and refine it until we both agree it's perfect. Who else stands behind their work like that? Dr. Rizk and his staff have changed my life and saved me from a place a thought I could never come back from. He isn't just a world class surgeon, he's a stand up man of his word. Look at the before and after and consider the amount of work, experience, and skill that went into my transformation. I don't have adequate words to express my gratitude, but this review is my best attempt at it. If he can fix the catastrophe that was my nose, imagine how easily and perfectly he can fix whatever issues you have. I recommend Dr. Rizk without hesitation or reservation.

I recently needed multiple procedures performed, mostly medical due to difficulty breathing. Dr. Rizk is the best! I had no pain after surgery, no bruising & only a small amount of swelling. I was also shocked that there was only a small amount of bleeding. Whatever he did, he did it extremely well. I can breathe, he reshaped my nose where it was warranted & I am so pleased! I can't even begin to thank Dr. Rizk enough for the amazing job he did on my rhinoplasty. It has been 4 months since my surgery and for the majority of these 4 months (minus 2-3 weeks for recovery) I have felt normal. Not pre-surgery normal, but a new normal that I haven't felt since I was a kid. I am finally not self-conscious about my nose. I don't worry about it like I used to, in fact I don't really think about it at all. I had a few injuries that I sustained to my nose in my teenage years causing bumps and asymmetries along with some genetic dispositions for a "butt nose" and other dents in the tip from weak cartilage. For over 15 years I dealt with the insecurities, twisted my head to my only good angle anytime I was near a camera, and internalized my sorrow for the way I looked. I had always wanted to get my nose fixed but worried about the cost and pain that would be associated with having it done. I can't say that Dr. Rizk was cheap, but I have not once felt buyers remorse for spending the money or the confidence I have gained since the surgery. As for the pain, Dr. Rizk's approach for the pre- and post operative regimen made it possible for me to recover without the pain medicine he prescribed. At my worst I was uncomfortable but not in any real pain. I also want to note how amazing his staff is. I had a wonderful experience all around. Everyone in his office is pleasant, the facility is clean and inviting, I can't complain about anything. My only regret is that I did not also ask him about fraxel or other laser procedures for my skin. I also suffered from acne in my teens and have some textural issues with my skin that I would like to resolve, along with sun damage discolorations and a general appearance of dulling. There is no doubt in my mind that once I am prepared (financially) to go through with skin resurfacing that Dr. Rizk will once again be my first and only choice for doing that.

I went to dr. Rizk’s office, because of my ugly scar on my upper lip. I was amazed by how the office looks, cozy and comfortable. I was supposed to get injection to my lip to make the scar smaller. I was afraid of the pain caused by the injection, but the nurse applied some cream to numb my lip to minimize any discomfort. When doctor came, he was nice, calmed me down, explained what he will do, and did the injection. It wasn’t that painful (he said he used the smallest needle ). Everybody was kind, helpful, and friendly. Even though I’m just teenager, everybody treated me with respect. The scar on my lip is getting smaller and softer. I feel more confident now. The consultation was pricey but MD Rizk explained the procedure thoroughly and what kind of nose shape would best fit my face ( I had pictures of different types of noses). His staff, nurses, and anesthesiologist were so helpful and knowledgeable. When he took off the bandages, I immediately loved the shape even though there was a lot of swelling. It will be 4months in 2weeks, the swelling as decreased and It still looks great. My nose is smaller, more defined, and looks very natural, most people did not even notice a difference.
