There's only one word that comes to mind when i think of Dr. Heutnner and that is Amazing! She has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have been to. I went to see Dr. Heuttner for an elongated earlobe repair. Initially I was nervous about the process and how my earlobe would look after the procedure, but i had no reason to worry. I absolutely love how my earlobe reconstruction went and returned to Dr. Heuttner to re-pierce the hole. Dr. Heuttner is wonderful at what she does, is easy to talk to, makes you feel really comfortable, and listens carefully to what you have say. I have two friends who are looking to repair their earlobes as well and I am definitely recommending Dr. Heuttner to them!

It is with great pleasure and delight that I write this review for Dr. Huettner. Fifteen or sixteen months ago, Dr. Larry Bass and I had a discussion concerning my desire for a breast lift, and cosmetic surgery of my neck and lower face. Since my original visit with Dr. Bass, a number of serious life events occurred, one of which was breast cancer. Finally, on May 21st, 2019, I was cleared by the Sloan Kettering surgeon for breast augmentation. I am an 82 year old woman in excellent health. Dr. Bass introduced me to the exceptionally talented breast surgeon, Dr. Huettner. Together they proceeded as a team. During the course of consultations, Dr. Huettner explained the many options available relating to my surgery. What impressed the most was her unique approach. She views her profession as an artist creating beauty. Dr. Huettner listened to my objectives carefully, and questioned me at length, preparing me emotionally for a perfect outcome. Above all, it is apparent that she is loves her profession. This became a perfect meeting of the minds, between patient and doctor. Voila! A superb outcome. Every aspect of my surgery was exactly what we both envisioned. My experience was special, given the knowledge and expertise I received from Dr. Huettner. I would like to thank Dr. Huettner for her continued engagement and support. With this review I wish to pass along my very positive experience, and enlighten potential patients seeking the very best outcome.

If you are looking for earlobe repair in New York City, go to Dr. Huettner. Not only is she super professional she is also knowledgeable and kept me at ease throughout my whole experience. I had my ears stretched with gauges (plugs) to over half an inch (that's pretty big) and Dr. Huettner took the time to examine my ears and took the best course of action to repair them. This type of srugery is done for people like me with gauged ears or people who just wore heavy jewelry and thier ears stretched out that way. Each ear took about 45 minutes and was done with a local anesthetic so I didn't have to be put under and I was in and out of here office in about 2 and a half hours. The whole procedure was painless and I was kept calm the whole time with classical music Dr. Huettner played for me :) The office is clean and right in the beautiful area by the MET so when you're done go look at some art! Dr. Huettner also repeirced my ears for me (with normal earrings) when the appropriate time passed after healing. Anyone who has body modifications knows that the repairs to these types of things will never be truly scar free- but the scar on each earlobe is really tiny and light and with the earrings nobody can see them. I could tell when I was getting them done that Dr. Huettner was working with careful precision to create minimal scarring. I love having my ears back and wearing earrings again! I posted a picture here as well. The little scars on top of my earlobe are from another piercing.

My experience with Dr. Huettner was beyond five stars. In September of 2015, a different surgeon performed liposuction on my thighs, lower stomach and hips. The result was a disaster. Earlier this year, I decided I couldn't live with the results anymore and set off to find a new surgeon. I met with nine other doctors before meeting Dr. Huettner. However, the moment I met her, I knew she was the real deal. She answered all my questions and managed my expectations realistically. In January of 2018, Dr. Huettner performed a revision of the liposuction to my thighs and a fat transfer to correct the damage from my prior surgery. I liked the results so much that I went back in April for liposuction of my stomach and back. I feel like a new woman! Not only is Dr. Huettner an expert in her field, but she has impeccable bedside manner. She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire journey. Whenever I have a question, I text her and she always responds. I cannot recommend Dr. Huettner highly enough!

There is a lot of misinformation that surrounds a lot of the medical institutions in New York. I am a husband of a wife who has three (3) successful surgeries to address her breast cancer. I am from New Jersey and was skeptical about somethings that I now know where not true about St. Barnabas Hospital. The medical board has really found a gem in Dr. Franziska Huettner. Dr. Huettner has been competent, informing and supportive every step of the way. We are in post recovery and my wife is doing very well. Dr. Huettner is caring and compassionate doctor with an excellent staff available 24/7. She takes her time to answer her patients questions and address their concerns. During one of my visits, a group of women in the the waiting room starting asking each other about their surgeries. I feel fortunate to have had Dr. Huettner in charge of my treatment for considerable sun damage to my lower lip. I had been referred to Dr. Huettner by my dermatologist out of concern the damage could result in skin cancer. Dr. Huettner began a multi-step treatment plan that began with a conservative approach and progressed as needed. The final step was laser surgery that removed most of the damaged area. Initially I consulted with her to know if I was a good candidate for a "tummy tuck". She was very thorough to explain every step of the procedure, the post operative recovery and the risks involved. Compassionate, empathetic and professionalism are a few words that can describe Dr.Huettner. She was amazing pre-op and post-op. Before the initial surgery she told me what to expect, possible risk and answered any questions I had. On the day of surgery she held my hand comforted me played music to calm my nerves and told me d"worry we got this". My surgery was successful and everyday after surgery during recovery in the hospital Dr.Huettner or a member of her team came everyday to ensure I was recovering well not only from surgery but also to see if I'm comfortable and needed anything the hospital was not giving. I was referred to Dr. Huettner for the excisional biopsy of a malignant melanoma on my ear. I was very impressed not only with her professionalism, but her reassuring confidence in my short term recovery and, more importantly, my long term outcome. She was able to perform both the biopsy and the reconstructive surgery using local anesthesia with less discomfort that a visit to the Dentist (I'm qualified to compare since I am one). She gave me her direct cell number in case I had any post-op issues and she called me to check on my recovery. It's rare to find that level of care in today's medicine. Dr. Welby still exists and she does Plastic Surgery! PS: my ear turned out so well it is in a new medical textbook, and it's been 4 years and no reoccurrence. I had two huge keloids in the back of my ears. They were so bad that I thought i would never be able to wear earrings again. Dr. Huettner was with me throughout the entire process of removing them and even on my day of surgery, she reassured me that everything was going to go great (i was very nervous). Dr. Huettner is an excellent doctor. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift. Some people end up with belly button that's round and big after tummy tuck. I didn't want that shape. My choice was right. She made my belly button shape so beautiful. Also I can not see the belly button stitches. There's a technique that only she does, it changed my body so beautifully. Not only is she beautiful in appearance, but she is also beautiful in her heart. She held my hand before my surgery and she was next to me when I woke up. Dr. Huettner is incredible! She is no-nonsense, honest, and an incredibly skilled surgeon. I had a large weight loss and was left with excess skin and abdominal fat that I could not get rid of despite incredible efforts. The solution was an abdominoplasty by Dr. H and the results were life changing. Dr. Huettner is the best ever. I have had 3 procedures with her (two curative, one cosmetic), and her work was flawless each time. She has a serious research background and seems very knowledgeable about other fields of medicine too. Dr. Huettner's bedside manner is extraordinary too; she is punctual, prepared, patient and kind. She puts you at ease, genuinely listens, and takes your concerns seriously. She even answered e-mails as soon as her schedule allowed. Her staff is also great, and their integrity has been exemplary. Case in point: they unexpectedly offered to refund me for a fee difference that I had no clue about. While she doesn't take my insurance, her staff helped submit for out-of-network benefits (when appropriate) and insurance pre-authorization - this didn't always go smoothly, but the goodwill was there and we eventually figured it out. I haven't received any incentive or prompting to write this review (in fact, as a man, I'm a little shy to publicly recommend a plastic surgeon), but believe me that Dr. Huettner and her team are worth it. I can't thank them enough.

Dr. Huettner took very good care of me. She’s professional, knowledgeable, yet approachable. I had a sebaceous cyst removed by another surgeon, but the wound wasn’t stitched back properly so it wasn’t healing the way it should. Upon seeing Dr. Huettner at the first visit, she immediately identified the issue, and she proposed several solutions - laying out the pros and cons for each of them. She was able to answer all my questions and my concerns in a clear and layman way, and made me feel at ease. She was also willing to clear her schedule right away to perform the surgery right on the spot. Its good to have an operation room within the clinic as everything was ready!
