He was very helpful and extremely kind. When my son returned and was seen by Dr. Paul the same attitude prevailed. The office staff also was very helpful, efficient and kind. I am 53 and have been using Botox for about a decade. I used to do this procedure at my dermatologist. But what a difference it makes to have this procedure done by a trained plastic surgeon and the one like Dr. Paul with his light touch and deep understanding of how facial musculature works. A few days after the procedure the results can be compared to that of a mini plastic surgery. My forehead is smooth (naturally and without that terrible shine that betrays a cosmetic intervention.) My eyes look years younger -- not only because the crow feet are gone, but also because upper eye lids are slightly lifted to open the eye. It's a subtle, but powerful change. Add to this Dr. Paul's warm, caring personality that inspires trust and confidence and makes one feel comfortable and at ease. And, lastly, the entire office communicates how seriously Dr. Paul and office staff take the well-being, comfort and satisfaction of their patients. With its meticulous organization, exceptional staff, stylish design and little luxuries offered to patients, it feels more like an upscale wellness resort rather than a physician's office. Well I don't mind much getting up in the morning after having work done with Dr PAUL. "I look fresh and youthful". The crows feet that were creeping in below my eyes and my rippling forehead are nice and smooth. "I look relaxed instead of tense". But, I must say "my favorite procedure is the plumping of my lips". He works magic with his fillers. A small amount stratigically placed in the lips and other areas in the face really makes for smoldering look. I am amazed at his technique and grateful too. Dr. Paul + his staff are wonderful. After a freak accident left me in the ER with no choice but to get eyelid stitches from an ER Dr, I went into straight panic mode knowing ER stitches can be really good or really bad. The office staff handled my concern quickly + with compassion. They got me in ASAP so he could take a look, he tweaked what needed, then ever so gently took the stitches out later in the week. The peace of mind Dr Paul + his staff gave me was immeasurable; if you've stumbled across them, you've found a gem.

I'm writing on my experience in the waiting room and on behalf of a friend. I went with my friend to get lip fillers at Dr. Ben Paul's office. The place looked nice and clean but the wait time was long even though she had an appointment. We were 20 minutes early and even so, at the time of her appointment they brought her into a room and had her sit for a half hour before actually starting the appointment. We were texting during this time because I chose to stay in the waiting room. I sat there in front of the reception desk and I was sitting there for about an hour. The women at reception were full of gossip, talking about patients- which I did not like. They probably didn't think I could hear them because I had head phones in, but I wasn't actually playing any music so I could hear everything. It was really discouraging to hear people in this sort of business, trash talk their clients and make fun of them for choosing a procedure. Now, after my friend finished getting lip injections- she looked exactly the same. She told me how the doctor is known for natural results- but honestly, if you spend close to 1k on lip fillers, I'd expect you want to see a difference. I saw none what so ever. She has nice lips naturally but she wanted them fuller/slightly larger because hers are small but have nice shape. He's a good doctor, I guess. He didn't cause her any bruising or swelling, but that might also be because little to no product was used. She told me she asked to use her full syringe and the doctor refused. She went a second time as scheduled for a follow up, where he said if she wanted the rest of the syringe, she could have it during the follow up. The follow up came, he refused even though she had asked. He also originally told her that she could use the rest of the filler near her nose in order to get her money's worth on the syringe-- well he didn't remember he said this, and didn't offer it the second time she went in. She looked disappointed the second time she left the room. We met in the waiting area, and we left. She wasn't happy. This time around the appointment was about 15 minutes from the time we walked into the door to the time we left. Huge difference from the first time. Seems you either wait forever or you get seen quickly but don't get a thorough appointment. She told me she felt rushed and that the doctor was clearly juggling multiple patients that day. She said she will never go back to him. This surprised me because after the first appointment, even though there was no difference-- she said she felt confident with keeping him as her injector. She said he had good bedside manner, and thoroughly explained everything. She said she liked how he would use the rest of the syringe next time if she wanted. But after this follow up, she did a 180 and told me she wouldn't come back. Apparently the follow up, he didn't go over the risks. He didn't explain what he was doing. He just stuck the needle in. He wasn't going to numb her face until she asked for the numbing cream too. He was not "there" that day. She felt he was overall insincere and phony with "patient care" and felt it was more about money making. After all, he charged her a lot of money for 1 syringe and didn't even use it up. He ignored her wishes on what she wanted her end result to be. He shouldn't have wasted her time or money. She's too nice to write this review herself, but I'm just putting it out there. Don't go to Dr Paul for lip fillers. You won't get the result you want, you'll spend too much for nothing and it's a hit or miss on how you'll be treated. The staff is gossipy and rude behind client's backs. I'm glad I have a different doctor who is great every time I see him.

Dr. Paul and his team are incredible! His aesthetic eye coupled with superior surgical skill and ability make him the natural choice for hair transplantation surgery. On the day of the procedure, Dr. Paul's calming bedside manner put me completely at ease. I experienced no pain during nor after the procedure and was back at work 2-days later. People who had no idea, I had something done, never suspected a thing. What makes Dr. Paul's approach unique, is his meticulous placement and direction of each hair follicle. Resulting in a naturally appearing hair line. If you have shopped around, you know, this is a rarity. My hair follicles are starting to sprout providing a beautiful hair line and fuller crown. I could not be happier with my results! He is a special breed. You seldom find physicians as caring and as patientcentric as him.

$300 for "consultation" that most (almost all) plastic surgeons in NYC offer without charge. When it comes to expensive elective procedures I think docs should offer <10 minute consult free. Oh well. Try another.

I'm writing this review as I too read the reviews of past patients and they were ultimately the deciding factor in my choice of Dr. Paul. I had recently moved to NYC and went in to see Dr. Paul after having had another consultation in my previous city. My main concerns were functional. I had been unable to breathe out of one side of my nose for many years and it had started to impacted my lifestyle. I wanted to select a doctor who had great reviews in both plastics and non in the event that I elected to go under the knife. His treatment of my condition began with an appointment where Dr. Paul patiently listened to my concerns and performed an examination. From there we elected to try a few different non-surgical treatments which provided some relief but proved to be only temporary solutions for me. Once I made the determination for surgery to repair the functional issues, I inquired about correcting two small cosmetic concerns I had related to my nose. It was very important to me to still look "the same". Fearing the images of bruising I had seen all over the internet, I expected the worst for my procedure. Dr. Paul and his staff provide VERY detailed instructions for pre and post surgery. In addition to the office appointments, they will make telephone calls and send emails to make sure you understand these instructions and ask if you have any questions. I followed each of their instructions exactly as written and healed quickly and with minimal bruising (only slight yellow in the corner of my eyes). I am heading for my five week follow-up appointment with Dr. Paul tomorrow and am thrilled with my results. The procedure performed and the results achieved are exactly what we discussed.

Dr. Paul is amazing. A few weeks ago I was ice skating with my son and fell very badly on my face. My teeth went through my skin below my lower lip, and my glasses significantly broke my nose and lacerated my nose and face around my right eye. I was lucky enough to be put in touch with Dr. Paul by a friend, and he asked me to text pictures of my face to him - he reassured me that he could attend to me in the office after seeing the pictures, and waited for me in his office on a Saturday until I finally navigated traffic into NYC. He worked patiently on me for a good 1.5 hours (the laceration through my mouth was gnarly and a pretty complicated repair) and they were truly the only team I could have imagined taking care of me - good natured, patient, meticulous, smart, and compassionate. I myself am a physician, and I don't toss those descriptors out lightly. I had significant swelling given the nature of my injuries, and every day thereafter Dr. Paul checked in with me, and even had the idea to have me take a probiotic so I didn't get a complication from the clindamycin (antibiotic) I had to take so the laceration inside my mouth didn't get infected. THEN came the repair of my broken nose when the swelling went down. Dr. Paul is a plastic surgeon AND an ENT (ear nose and throat) doctor, and it really increased my confidence in his care. He encouraged me to do a closed reduction of the nasal fracture in the office given that I didn't have much bleeding from the initial injury and he wanted to save me from having to go under general anesthesia - while I was nervous, I trusted his judgement, and I was SO glad that I did. He patiently numbed my nose for a good 30 minutes before doing anything, and as soon as he had carefully repositioned the bone, I said "that was it??" I was so thankful I had trusted his guidance and not gone under general anesthesia. He is the first physician I have ever reviewed online, but I felt so well taken care of over these last 2-3 difficult weeks that I felt compelled to write a review.

I had been unhappy with the fat pads under my eyes for years. I'm in my early 60s, in good shape and the pads were a real anomaly for me. As I got older and lost some elasticity in the skin under my eyes, the bags started to droop more and I wanted to address it. My dermatologist referred me to Dr. Lattman's practice for a consult and it was a great experience right from the start. I did not want to change my appearance materially so we decided on a transconjunctival blepharoplasty procedure to remove and re-position the fat pads. I can't emphasize enough the level of surface and responsiveness of the staff provided from beginning to end. So you're probably wondering where does Dr. Paul come into this review? On the day I was scheduled surgery, I had a sinus infection. I had been troubled by it for weeks but I was hoping I could still have my treatment. Dr. Lattman concluded it would not be safe to perform the procedure with my sinuses inflamed. Of course, I was very disappointed but Dr. Lattman offered a consult with Dr. Paul, a doctor on her team who is an ENT specialist. He diagnosed me with a bacterial infection, prescribed the right antibiotic and 2 weeks later I was healthy and ready to have my procedure. Dr. Paul gave me a complete ENT work up on the day I thought I was gong to have cosmetic surgery. Not that's a full service practice! And Dr. Paul was great. He even did my follow up visit after my procedure as Dr. Latmann happened to be on hoiday. It's been two weeks since I had the procedure and I'm happy with the outcome. And I know with more time and healing the outcome will be even better. Hopefully, you can just rely on Dr. Paul to make you look and feel better about your appearance but if you happen to have sinus trouble he can handle that too!

I had some unsightly growths removed from my face and forehead (FH) by Dr. Paul... I was a bundle of nerves. I swear I called the poor nurse 12 times in advance to make sure I was prepped and not violating their very thorough intake documents... she kept her cool and answered my questions and called me back each time. Dr Paul is very easy going and even made me laugh through my tears as he gave me local numbing. He talked me through every step of the way and made me relax. In fact, when he said "OK, done!" I was certain he was just prepping me it was so easy! The marks have healed and my face looks great. I know much of my review was about the psychological side of my visit, but that it worth most to me and they all delivered.

I had spoken to many different specialists in hopes to having this cyst removed from my forehead however he was the only one who made me feel comfortable and safe. The surgery went extremely well. Dr. Paul is not only a highly skilled surgeon but you would be hard pressed to find a more caring human being. I had a lower facelift about six weeks ago with numerous follow-up visits. I had minimal pain following surgery and the results are already looking better than I could have hoped. At the initial consultation Dr. Paul listened carefully to my concerns. He explained the procedure in detail and answered all of my questions. Being past 60, my main concern was not looking “pulled”. My face looks natural and my neck is perfect. I look like “me” only much better. I highly recommend Dr. Paul as a surgeon and a person. In addition and very important, the facility is state-of-the-art and the staff is wonderful.

When I showed Dr.Ben Paul my slit earlobe, it was such an ugly sight, and I never thought I would be able to wear earrings, or put my hair up again because I was so embarrassed by the sight of my ear. On April 8, 2019 I had a lower face/neck lift by a plastic surgeon in Florida. When returning to New York I had complications with swelling of the neck and face with open wounds behind my ears. Dr. Paul was kind enough to meet with me three weeks after the surgery. The moment he saw me, he realized I had an infection on my cheek and proceeded to send biopsy's to the lab, while immediately prescribing an antibiotic. The next day the lab confirmed I had a bacterial infection. His attention and expertise saved me from having the infection spread and prevented my hospitalization. He was caring and thoughtful through my recovery and would consistently check with me on a daily basis. His kind advise and treatment has been invaluable. I would highly recommend him and his entire staff who have been considerate, caring and consistently on target with their medical expertise and treatment.

Doctors with extraordinary talent are somewhat rare, but finding an extraordinarily talented doctor with a wonderful bedside manner is like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack. Well, Dr. Paul is the needle in a haystack. I had been considering hair restoration for years. However, each time I met with doctors, I just could not get comfortable (I am very picky). The moment I met Dr. Paul, I knew that I found the right person. He was very realistic with what he could accomplish (which turned out to be a lot) and did not give any hard sell. I still had hesitations about the procedure, but not because of any concerns regarding Dr. Paul. The concerns were more from horror stories relating to other doctors that I had read on the Web. Dr. Paul was wonderful in addressing all of my concerns, including ones I expressed just the day before the procedure. He eased my mind, and he put absolutely no pressure on me to move forward. But, wow am I glad I did go forward! The procedure could not have gone smoother - Dr. Paul and his amazing staff made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in to his beautiful offices on the day of the procedure and throughout the entire day. In fact, the day of the procedure was one of the most relaxing days I have had in a long time! Although I just recently got the procedure done, so I really need to wait a number of months to see the final results, I am incredibly impressed by my initial results, which have exceeded my expectations. My new hairline looks incredibly natural and makes me look at least a decade younger. My wife, who was very skeptical about me getting the procedure from anyone (although she was the most comfortable with and impressed by Dr. Paul), is equally pleased with the results. Bottom-line, Dr. Paul is one of the best doctors I have encountered - he is great at what he does, he is caring, and he is just a really nice person. His staff is equally good. I give Dr. Paul and his practice my highest recommendation.

It has been just over three weeks since I got my hair transplant and I just need to say how thrilled I am with the results already! When I was searching for a doctor who could perform the procedure, I had decided that I needed a skilled surgeon who truly has in depth knowledge of hair transplant procedures. When I began doing my research, there were many groups and doctors who apparently spent a lot on advertising their services, but when I did further research and read patient reviews, I knew those doctors were not the ones for me. They spent more time on advertising the procedure and less with their patients according to reviews. After many calls to many hair transplant facilities and doctors, I found one that stood out - Dr. Ben Paul located in NYC. I found the Dr. Paul’s website and decided that I wanted to submit photos of how my hair loss looked online. After I sent them in to the doctor, he called me on my cell phone and explained that he would like to see my in person, but that he thought that I was a great candidate for a hair transplant. As soon as I began speaking to Dr. Paul, I knew that he had a thorough understanding of hair and had my best interest at heart. I met with Dr. Paul in NYC. Dr. Paul is so easy to talk to. He thoroughly explained my hair options. I decided to proceed with a FUE procedure. I was impressed that he did not push anything at all, but rather explained all my options and asked me what I wanted. Then he explained the pros and cons. There are so many qualities that Dr. Paul has that I am thoroughly impressed with. He is down to earth and the easiest doctor to speak with. He truly has the best bedside manner of any doctor that I have met. He thinks about not just how you will look after the procedure but also how you will look in the future. Dr. Paul explained to me that when he prepares for a hair procedure, he has to think how the patient will look years down the road. He has to account for any future hair loss that you may have. This is extremely important to me, because I am fairly young. Any qualms that I had regarding the procedure were put at ease. And now that I am three weeks post FUE procedure, I can tell that my initial impression of Dr. Paul was exactly right. He is a skilled surgeon. I realize that the doctor had to take into account many aspects of my hair, such as how my hair grows. I know that he did this, because I cannot tell which hairs he transplanted as my hair looks so natural. I am thrilled with the results already. I have to admit that I am not the easiest patient, as I had many questions. I emailed Dr. Paul at least 20 times already about questions at all times of the day and night. He answered my questions almost immediately. I was shocked that I doctor would answer my questions on a Saturday night at 9:00 PM or Sunday morning at 8:30 AM. I really cannot describe how skilled Doctor Paul really is. He has my highest recommendation. Additionally, his office is immaculately clean. The procedure room is spotless. You feel less like a patient and more like a family member, as Dr. Paul and his staff take such great care of you.

Words can't describe how AMAZING Dr. Paul is. I am a nurse and was always reluctant to get any work to my face. I came across a nurse and her friends who have used him before and they ALL love him and spoke very HIGHLY of him and the work that he does. Dr. Paul administered Botox to my crow's feet (sides of eyes), forehead wrinkles, Glabella (between eyebrows), and filler to my upper lip and nasolabial folds. It was completely PAINLESS and his injectables and types of needles he uses are the best you can use. I didn't have any side effects and I absolutely LOVE the results! My forehead is so smooth and wrinkle free without looking "fake" and my lips look lusciously beautiful and very natural. Dr. Paul has an incredible aesthetic eye, skilled hands, is wealth of knowledge and is so down to earth and honest. I TRUST him completely with my face and will not use anyone else now that I found him. If he thinks you don't need something he'll be honest, which is rare quality in a physician. I can tell the passion he has for the work that he does in wanting to make his clients look and feel the best they can about themselves. I will be using him in the future for rhinoplasty (nose job) and hair restoration. You don't have to feel nervous or scared about getting any work done if you use Dr. Paul, he's truly an artist and a master of his craft. From the initial consultation all the way through my surgery date, Dr. Paul was incredibly thorough and all-around brilliant. After a botched FUT transplant from Bosley, he took me in and gave me a fantastic FUE transplant. Not only that, but he was able to harvest just as much if not more hair than the previous FUT. Although I know hair loss is not a life threatening condition, as a mother of three children, two of whom are loosing their hair, I can emphatically say that for them it is no less traumatic. My daughter started loosing her hair as a result of female pattern baldness at around 18 years of age. At first I dismissed it as natural shedding, but when her part, either middle or side, became extremely noticeable and about a finger size thick, I knew I needed to do something. What an incredible doctor at an incredible practice. I must admit, at 36 I was wary of a facial procedure no matter how small. We decided on Botox because these furrows were getting out of hand! Dr. Paul took the time to discuss everything with me and did not recommend anything I didn’t need. When I went in for my appointment, I was nervous of pain and how my face would react - I was in the room with barely any waiting room time. The nurses were incredible - the office is full of beautiful smiles and sweet people. (They have two operating rooms in their own facility! Amazing). I suffered a head injury ten years ago, and have had a bump on my forehead ever since. After hours of research and several unsuccessful visits to other plastic surgeons, I took a trip to Dr. Paul’s office. I knew immediately after the consultation that Dr. Paul understood where I was coming from and that he would do all he could to leave me looking as natural as possible after the excision. Turns out what we thought was a lipoma was really just a rogue group of fatty cells rooted deep in the muscle of my forehead, and yet Dr. Paul removed it quickly and concisely anyway.
