I’ve been a patient of Dr. Cangello’s for about 6 years for Botox and fillers. This year, I decided to have rhinoplasty and I am ecstatic with the results. I was a little scared going into surgery because I had never been under general anesthesia before. Dr. Cangello and his staff put my mind at ease. The anesthesiologist even called me the night before to make sure I didn’t have any questions or worries about the anesthesia. The patient coordinator Puja is sweet and helpful as well. My nose now looks like the nose I should have been born with! It is still my nose, but better! He is a true artist and made my nose look very natural. I was able to go back to work a week later with very minimal bruising and swelling. Dr. Cangello explained everything to me and has excellent bedside manner. I’m so happy I chose Dr. Cangello to do my surgery and cannot recommend him enough. I work as a medical esthetician in skincare and get a lot of questions about Botox, dermal filler, and plastic surgery. Without hesitation, I send them to the best! My mom and sister have been to him as well and they are equally happy!

I had been interviewing doctors to find the perfect one to assist with correcting my capsular contraction which I’d Had for over 10 years. I had my saline implants placed over the muscle 17+ years ago and wasn’t sure how I wanted the replacement implants. Dr. Cangello took the time to answer all of my questions, concerns, and provided additional details bringing me to the decision of going under the muscle with silicon implants and that he was the right doctor for me. Surgery was a great success and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The surgery was more involved then anticipated, but Dr. Cangello took his time to ensure everything went perfect. Visiting Dr. Cangello has been an amazing experience throughout! He is very friendly and easy to talk to about anything. I was never embarrassed or ashamed to mention any unhappiness with any physical features. He held my hand through several procedures that I found to be terrifying (because I'm a bit of a wimp). I have gone to him for earlobe reconstruction, several Botox treatments, along with other major procedures (I'd rather not admit to those hehe). I am scheduled to visit him again next week for laser surgery on my tracheotomy and acne scars. Plus, I will be seeing him later this month for a surgical laser sweat gland procedure, Hyperhidrosis. I highly recommend this doctor to just about anyone for just about anything. The results are always amazing and he is very pleasant to have the procedures done by. His practice is very conveniently located too.

After doing a lot of research and meeting with two other surgeons, I knew once I met Dr. Cangello and had my consultation with him that he would be the doctor to whom I could trust with doing anything on me. When looking for a surgeon I was warned by multiple people about surgeons not listening and giving women implants that were larger than they had asked for. I was also concerned about them not looking natural. Dr. Cangello was extremely perceptive and respectful of what I wanted! He gave me exactly the results I had asked for and we had spoken about. Long ago, I noticed a pair of lines between my eyebrows and began blasting them with Botox. Over more than a decade, docs have injected an EPIC amount of botulism (a.k.a. Botox) into my forehead. If there were an outbreak of botulism in NYC, I would probably be the lone survivor. While Botox seems like a cheap nonsurgical option to erase the 11 btw ur eyes, the reality is that 2 decades of Botox on a quarterly basis is easily $30,000 (w no end insight to the expense). I could either give up on looking good(not an option) or keep injecting. #nevergiveup Samantha Jones said, “Honey, you know me, I don't really believe in marriage; now Botox on the other hand, that works every time." She was wrong. In the last 3 years, my beloved Botox stopped working. Apparently I developed an immunity. Dysport—Ditto. Meet Dr. Cangello, my new go to guy (my prior doc is no longer seeing patients). I selected him because he is a board certified plastic surgeon that learned from the (now retired) Dr. Sydney Coleman. I also noted while vetting Dr. Cangello, that he is an artist— a valued skill for anyone holding a sharp object near my face. I also like his approach. I first met Dr. Cangello for a minor issue & mentioned my other “concerns.” He gave incredibly honest and astute responses that made a very positive impression on me. Many months later (a lot of behind the scenes vetting), I was now ready to move forward and I consulted with him again. Much to my surprise, he recognized me. #bonuspoint. Dr. Cangello recommended a corrugator resection for the 11, which is a procedure in which the corrugator is cut. The doc goes through your eyelids & there is no scar. There would be downtime and anesthesia involved, so I decided to piggy back another procedure, & that was a CO2 Fractional Laser Treatment on my face and décolletage. Only 6 days after, the doc removed the stitches in my eyelids and the swelling in my lids came down pretty quickly after. Total downtime for this procedure is prob 12-14 days but I was working from home the following day and doing a lot of regular activities like grocery shopping - albeit with sunglasses on. With respect to the CO2 laser treatment, I can honestly say that at only 10 days post-surgery my skin on my face looked better than it has in a decade. The first 72hrs were full of goopy Aquaphor and felt like the worst sunburn ever imaginable—but it was well worth the mild discomfort for a few days to get this amazing result. I am really not exaggerating when I say that the combined effect of the two treatments (corrugator resection and CO2 Fractional Laser) had shaved at least a decade off my face and is exactly the natural youthful fresh look I was looking to achieve. I really could not be any happier. Dr. David Cangello made the entire process very easy. Dr. Tim Vanderslice, the anesthesiologist during my surgery was also very attentive and made me feel very safe before and after surgery. And I’m not an easy patient. I ask a lot of questions. I’m opinionated. And I only want the absolute best doctor putting anything sharp near me. Dr. Cangello was great. Most importantly in a this is that he kept to my objectives of looking natural. And truth be told, I am anything but! Despite all of the “work” that I have had done, most people have no idea. #catisnowoutofthebag Over 40 is full of changes

Dr. Cangello is a master of his craft. Imagine if an artist or sculpture became a plastic surgeon. I almost thought this was too good to be true. It's not. I had a normal sized nose, just somewhat crooked and droopy. After seeing pictures of his work on patients with similar noses, I was confident I could achieve the same results. 10 days after surgery I returned to work and nobody could tell I had work done. I now have a symmetrical and droopless nose that looks natural and fits my face, better than I expected. I couldnt've asked for a better result.

I had my 410 textured silicone implants removed by Dr. Cangello on April 10, 2019. I was a month shy of having had them for ten years. For a while I had not been feeling well with aching joints as many other issues. I had many tests done and I thought maybe it was time to remove the textured implants. Researching on the internet along with recommendations from friends, I found Dr. Cangello. I am so grateful I decided to have my explant and breast lift surgery with him. The office is immaculate and his staff is excellent in every aspect. Tania, Puja, Katelyn, my nurse Rachel as well as the anesthesiologist. They all made me feel very comfortable from beginning till end. Dr. Cangello was very patient with all my questions. I was very apprehensive about this surgery because I’ve had many surgeries due to prior issues with implants. This surgery was supposed to be an explant surgery with a lift and replacement of implants. Dr. Cangello knew how I really preferred to have a lift without replacing the implants. My desire was to have some fullness even if I went from a D cup to a B cup. We went into surgery believing if all went well, I would come out of surgery all natural... no implants. Worst case scenario ...he would have had to put implants back in. I woke up from surgery groggy but elated to hear Dr. Cangello was able to do the explant and lift surgery without replacing the implants. He expressed that I had enough breast tissue to have a nice size breast naturally. Many thanks to Dr. Cangello for his patience, expertise and commitment-for doing what was best for me while fulfilling my wishes. At my last visit I was pleasantly surprised that Dr. Cangello was more concerned if I was satisfied with the surgery. I replied yes, I was very happy. I would highly recommend Dr. Cangello to anyone searching for a meticulously skilled surgeon. I am recovering well two weeks post op and the scars are healing beautifully. I actually am recovering better than I thought pain wise. I only took the pain meds the first two days. I am sore now but nothing Tylenol can’t help with. It took a little bit of browsing before I found the right doctor for my surgery. Dr. Cangello and his October special for rhinoplasty seemed attractive but I had to meet him in person to see if I get the right vibe from him. Many people complain about not getting the right rhinoplasty result because the "feel" of the doctor wasn't positive. When I first came in contact with him, I already had positive vibe and he answered all my questions and concerns professionally. I really recommend him.

I recently got a small lypoma on my back. I was referred to this doctor by my dermatologist. However he was condescending, stating that since I had difficulty find it, it's nothing, not even a lypoma, probably a protruding muscle...I expressed my concern but the doctor became impatient and suggested an MRI. A lot of hype for nothing . I was excited to meet him and see what he could because of what I heard . I winded up paying 10,000 for pretty much the same nose I had but without the twisting . If you are looking for something very subtle for lots of money then he is your guy.
