I am about a week and a half post-surgery and the incision line is barely noticeable. I couldn't be more pleased with the result. After many years and 4 surgeries (breast augmentation and lift) and being stuck with less than desirable results, I decided that I had to re do my breasts one more time. After 4 prior surgeries (over decades) I certainly wasn't looking forward to another surgery with wear and tear on my body, not to mention my savings! I made up my mind that this would be my last surgery, period, on my breasts! Researching for a doctor with the experience to do a redo. I found that most doctors can't, or wont take on this kind of surgery, if they're honest. With all my experience at least I felt I knew the right questions to ask, to sort out the type of physician I was seeking, during an initial appointment. I met with Dr. Schaffner and decided that he was the right combination of education, experience, direct and honest answers along with attention to detail. He's extremely factitious in his work to the point of creating incisions that are virtually seamless (some redness that I'm sure will be gone in a few months). When I first visited Dr. Schaffner's office I explained to him that I had a breast reduction in 2013 and was extremely unhappy with the results. Dr. Schaffner examined my breasts and was confident that he could correct the problems and give me the results I had wanted all along. A few weeks ago Dr. Schaffner performed the breast reduction surgery. This is the happiest I've ever been. My back, shoulders and neck do not hurt and my self esteem and confidence have soared. Dr. Schaffner is a very genuine and kind person. He has always made me feel at ease. He is always available to answer questions and never made me feel like my concerns were invalid. He is extremely intelligent, patient and trustworthy. I was especially nervous about a second surgery, but I know that I made the right choice in choosing Dr. Schaffner for this procedure. Book your cosmetic procedure with Dr. Schaffner, you won't regret it! He is a remarkably talented surgeon with a great eye - I could not be happier with my results. When I first stepped into his office for my Bilateral Breast Augmentation consultation, he was very welcoming but also direct and concise. He answered my (many) questions with patience, had great bedside manner and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Schaffner includes Cristalix 3D imaging in his consultation which made my decision about size much easier. Not to mention, the imaging ended up being quite close to my end result. For reference, I'm 5'4, 122 lbs with an athletic build and wanted a very natural look. Before surgery, I was a 32A, and ended up going with Smooth Round Moderate Plus in 285 CCs. I'm now a very natural 32C. Dr. Schaffner was incredibly thorough, and made sure I was well informed and prepared for the procedure by checking in regularly the weeks leading up to surgery. He and his entire team called me the night before too which helped ease my nerves. The procedure itself went perfectly. I'd heard horror stories about recovery, but under Dr. Schaffner's care, I felt fine! I had my surgery on Thursday, rested through the weekend (taking all medication as directed) and was back to work on Monday. In the weeks to follow between my post-op appointments, Dr. Schaffner made himself available via call or text message for any questions I had during the healing process. Spoiler alert, I had a LOT - haha! All in all, my experience with Dr. Schaffner and his staff could not have been better. I'd give ten stars if I could. THANK YOU, Dr. Schaffner and staff for helping me be my most confident self!

Dr. Schaffner was incredible - I was nervous going in for Airsculpt lipo but after our consult, I had no doubt in his ability, knowledge, and skill. I am only 1 week out so I won't see my true results for sometime, but even the little I can see is pretty amazing. He talked with me through the entire procedure, always checking to be sure I was OK and the best part, he didn't rush and I could tell he wanted it to be as PERFECT as possible. I had worked very hard to lose 50 lbs over the past year after getting out of an awful relationship where food was my coping skill. I worked out (both weights and cardio) and ate strictly whole and organic- the last part around my belly just wouldn't move. This was a huge decision for me and a huge investment, but if you want THE BEST, then finance and pay for THE BEST. Let's be honest, if someone botches you, you will wish you had. I am writing this post after a pretty major surgery last month (breast reduction and lift) handled by Dr. Adam Schaffner who works out of Park Avenue Aesthetic. I planned to be one of those people who researched, consulted and visited many plastic surgeons prior to making this life changing decision (and large expense). When you're paying out of pocket, you want to be sure you're covering all bases. I found Dr. Schaffner after seeing what amazing reviews he had online for reductions and figured the free consultation would be a good start. Immediately I was greeted by the front office staff warmly. Once I met with Dr. Schaffner, I was extremely impressed by not only his knowledge of the procedure, but his overall intelligence and detail oriented traits. Every step of the way was treated with kindness, patience and unparalleled skill - and his team (from the physicians assistants Anessa and Molly to the anesthesiologist John to Jo Marie at the financing department) were incredibly professional and talented. I feel so fortunate to have trusted my gut and gone with my first consultation. Every followup thereafter has been just as detailed, I honestly can see why he is so well rated online! I felt compelled to post because I want everyone to know that Dr. Adam Schaffner deserves all the good press. I wish I had met him and done this sooner, he absolutely changed my life! Last month Dr, Schnaffner performed blepharoplasty surgery on my lower eyelids. Ten years ago I had both an upper and lower blepharoplasty procedure; and so I was especially afraid that my under eyelid skin would be too thin for this follow-up surgery,and so I was careful to choose the very best facial surgeon I could find. After reading many reviews- and especially after my consultation with Dr. Schnaffner- I chose Dr. Schnaffner. One week before my selected date I was diagnosed with two small brain tumors. Dr. Shnaffner, who had only met me once before, called me and told me to delay or permanently cancel my cosmetic surgery. He offered to help me in any possible way- or merely to talk with me if ever I had the need. Two months later I rescheduled my procedure. Apart from the excellent results, I was overwhelmed by his compassion and professionalism. I now understand fully why he is the recipient of so many outstanding reviews.

Dr. Schaffner is the absolute best. So smart and intelligent, knows his stuff. From the moment I walked into his office for a free consultation, I knew he would be my doctor for my breast augmentation. He answered all of my questions and I was confident I would be happy with the results. And guess what? I am! I'm 2-3 days post-op, and suffering minimal pain. Compared to a lot of my friends who couldn't even move, I am able to walk, pick up my dog, raise my arms and get dressed all by myself. I feel like a normal regular person. I could not be happier with my experience and results! Dr. Schaffner was great from beginning to end along with the rest of his staff. He was warm and helpful during my consultation, and continued to make time for my many follow up questions over the phone. This was my first experience with plastic surgery so I was very nervous about choosing the right doctor. I'm so glad I picked Dr. Schaffner. I had one vile of Juvederm injected in my top lip. I wanted overstated results, but I understood that you can not achieve that look without multiple syringes. However, it still made a huge difference in my appearance. My results are very pretty and natural. Dr. Schaffner's method of injecting the Juvederm left me with absolutely no bruising and very minimal swelling, my lips looked and felt totally normal by day 3 (although i was perfectly able to work on day 2). THE MAIN PROCEDURE I had done was liposuction under my chin and along the jawline. I am a very healthy and fit 24 year old female and previously had a very stubborn, genetic double chin. I was VERY nervous having never had any sort of surgery or anesthesia before, but Dr. Schaffner and his staff, along with the anesthetist made me feel very safe and comfortable. I was not under general anesthesia for this procedure, however I really don't remember much the procedure and did not feel any pain. I actually had a fun time in the recovery room talking to the nurse who was watching over me. RECOVERY was not bad at all. The most annoying thing about it was the residual numbness and having to wear a head wrap for the first 5 days (and then for a month after only at night), really nothing considering how I look now! You don't achieve final results until about 3 months after the procedure, but even the first week after with swelling there was a huge improvement in my appearance. I returned to work on the 6th day after surgery. I experienced very minimal bruising, but I will mention I was eating arnica like candy (as well as using topical) and icing as often as possible. It has now been 3 months since I had the procedure done and I honestly can't believe my results. I have total feeling back in the treated area and my jawline is so defined. I feel like a new person! I'm kicking myself for not taking my own before and after photos, but if you schedule a consultation I gave consent for him to use the before and afters he took. I'm so thankful to have chosen Dr. Schaffner. Thank you!

I love every part of the experience when I visit Dr. Schaffner’s office for Botox and fillers. The interior is sleek and modern, the staff so kind and attentive, any preprocedural nerves I feel always quickly melt away. Dr. Schaffner himself is knowledgeable, patient and precise. Once you’re seated he’ll hand you a mirror and listen while you point out the areas of your face you’d like to enhance or improve, a ritual that may sound uncomfortable but feels oddly empowering. The injections he administers are subtle and perfectly placed and my skin is completely smooth after, only mild redness and no bumps at the injection sites. Dr. Schaffner is the absolute BEST! I was referred to Dr. Schaffner by my dermatologist and I knew I would be in good hands from the moment I met him. His professionalism and demeanor immediately put me at ease. I had to have a large lipoma removed from my back, and considering I have never had to have a surgery before, I was a bit nervous going into this procedure. Dr. Schaffner went through everything with me step by step and answered all of my questions prior to the surgery. He met with me while I was in recovery to see how I was feeling and to answer any other questions I may have had. I have been a satisfied patient of Dr. Schaffner for over 10 years for routine cosmetic procedures. Recently, I was diagnosed with a basal cell carcinoma on my face. I was extremely apprehensive but Dr. Schaffner calmed me down, assuring me that the results would be positive. As expected, Dr. Schaffner and his staff were absolutely wonderful. I recently had reconstructive surgery after having Mohs Surgery for skin cancer on my face. I am absolutely grateful that I found Dr Schaffner for my reconstruction post Mohs. It is difficult to find a doctor like Dr. Schaffner. I have been on a "medical journey" for a while now to address issues that are of both cosmetic and functional concern. After seeing many dismissive doctors and not knowing what kind of doctor to see, I did some self research and ultimately found Dr. Schaffner. Before choosing a plastic surgeon to consult with, I did a lot of research to check their areas of interest, experience, and board certification (Dr. Schaffner is triple board certified--check his website for more details). However, the final reason that made me pick Dr. Schaffner was the reviews I read of his compassionate care. That was the most important to me; I wanted a doctor who would carefully and objectively listen to what I had to say, and do their best to try and help me from a place of genuine care. Reviews are not always the best way to determine this, but in this case the reviews were absolutely right. Dr. Schaffner referred me to a specialist that he believed would be better suited to help me with my situation. He called me many times to check on how my situation was unfolding, and if there was anything he could do to help. I'm sure if you are reading this, you have likely experienced calling a doctor's office multiple times just to get one callback. Such a thing does not happen with Dr. Schaffner and his office. He has called me himself, multiple times. Something to note is that I have not had any procedure done with him, nor had we planned to have anything done in the future. Yet, he kept in touch (and continues to be), because he viewed me as a patient, and not a customer. I was truly impressed, and am glad that an individual like him is a medical practitioner. If you have read this far, I hope you consult with Dr. Schaffner for your needs. You will be in good hands.

I'm 40 years old, 5'3', 115 lbs with 330cc silicone implants. Dr Schaffner is absolutelty great! He gave me back the love I had for my breast before they were deflated from 3 pregnancy. I originally consulted with Dr Schaffner for excess skin around my navel. He was honest in that theres no guaranteed in achieving the kind of results I was looking for without a tummy tuck. ultimately I decided not to do a tummy tuck. But once I was ready for my breast augmentation I knew I wanted Dr Schaffner, due to the great impression from our first meeting. He didn't try to sell me what i wanted to hear but actually made suggestion and left the decision up to me. originally I wanted 375cc, Dr Schaffner 330cc, but after doing the rice test like he said I realized thankfully that wasn't the look I was going for and went with 330cc. My procedure was over a month away (December, 2015) and being able to call anytime with any questions or concerns and having him call to check in was great, it made a big difference in my anxiety level before surgery. My recovery was great, only needed pain meds for 3 days, and the incisions healed nicely.

Dr. Adam Schaffner is not only a fine plastic surgeon, but possibly the most reliable, caring, and meticulous doctor I have ever worked with. Dr. Schaffner displayed the utmost respect for me from the moment I first visited his office. He and his staff are extremely organized and efficient when it comes to booking appointments and providing detailed instructions for pre- and post-surgery. I live in Syosset but have my Business Yannis Furs in Great Neck. I have had a CYST in my right earlobe for a while now. It was tried to be removed before but it fused onto the skin and was told that most of my earlobe would be gone if I tried to remove it. After a few excellent reccommendations from some of my customer's, I made an appointment with Dr. Schaffner that instructed me that he will take care of it even though his office appearance in Great Neck was only on the first Wednesday of each month which I had to wait for. 18 year old saline breast implants in need of an exchange and revision. This time around I wanted to do my homework and met with 4 other plastic surgeons aside from Dr. Schaffner. I must say, he was very thorough with my consult and didn't rush me. He didn't make me feel insecure about my "botched implants" and assured me they could be fixed. What was especially refreshing was he was very smart and and a surgeon first. He wasn't all "Hollywood" like some of these other plastic surgeons out there. I am now almost 2 weeks post op and am very happy with my results. I exchanged them for silicone and they are so much more natural feeling. They actually feel softer and more natural than my 18 year old implants ever did. I did my homework, consulting with 3 cosmetic surgeons before choosing a surgeon for my abdominoplasty and breast augmentation, necessary after a 100lb weight loss. Dr. Schaffner is by far the best doctor I have ever had. I’ve had surgery before and have never had a doctor so thorough in explaining what to expect. He called me the night after surgery and the next few days to see how I was doing and made sure I had a way to get a hold Of him if I needed him or had any questions. What can I say? My experience with Dr. Schaffner was hands down one of, if not the, best medical experiences I have ever had. After an out of the blue fainting episode caused me to collapse and hit my head and face badly, I went to the emergency room for help. I needed stitches and was told by three separate doctors there was no chance I had broken my nose. My mother, who is a physician but was unable to be there, saw a picture of my nose later that evening after I had left the hospital and was worried it was broken. She wanted me to see a plastic surgeon who was also an ENT the next day. I searched for doctors that took my insurance and then complemented that with using health grades, which is where I found Dr. Schaffner. After waking up early the next morning to significantly increased swelling, bruising and pain, I called Dr. Schaffner and left a message (as his office was not yet open) detailing my incident and fear that my nose was broken. Within minutes, I received a call personally from Dr. Schaffner who said he would squeeze me in as his first patient of the day and that he would rush to the office from the hospital where he was performing surgery that morning. Within minutes of seeing me he was convinced my nose was broken but given that I had heard three opinions to the contrary wanted me to get a CT scan to confirm. The CT scan, which was performed that day, confirmed that my nose was broken in three separate places. Dr. Schaffner called me to relay all of the detail and then offered to call my mom to explain all of the detail to her! I had to give it a few days for the swelling and bruising to go down and within one week he performed my surgery. He made sure to relay that since I had broken it in so many places, there was a likelihood that this surgery wouldn’t fix it but that a future surgery could be done to fix it if I wasn’t happy. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Schaffner was SO comforting and put my mind at ease (as well as my parents who were there for the procedure). Post-surgery, he said things went very well but that the bones could shift back to their position when the nose was broken. He followed up with me daily to check-in on how I was doing and on my follow-up visit a week post-surgery, he gave me exercises and scar care treatment to use for several weeks until my 6 week appointment. I just had my 6 week appointment and the bones are perfectly straight! I can now do massage on the scar tissue around the laceration, which has been improving things on a daily basis. Everyone who sees me says there is no way anyone would know I had broken my nose. I would recommend Dr. Schaffner to anyone!! Thank you SO much, Dr. Schaffner!

As a young person, surgery can be nerve-racking. From the very first consultation, I felt incredibly comfortable and confident with my choice of choosing Dr. Schaffner to complete my breast surgery. I knew I was being heard when I explained what I wanted done. Dr. Schaffner provided necessary advice and explained the steps needed to complete the procedure. What I loved most was that he explained once the procedure is occurring, if he doesn’t have to make an incision he won’t. They were always straight forward with you and made it clear prior to the appointment if changes needed to be made. I have been thrilled to show off my end result after the procedure in January 2019. I was prepared with information of what to do before and after the procedure, in addition to having the ability to contact Dr. Schaffner personally at any point with question/concerns I felt were important. I was automatically scheduled for check-ups to reassure my healing process was going as planned. The procedure itself was done in his office, in an incredibly steralized operating room. This allowed my nerves to remain calm due to the fact that I didn’t have the pressure, noise, fear of outsiders or emotions that could potentially occur at a hospital. I knew that when being under anesthesia I was completely safe and in a very healthy environment. I truly felt protected and understood throughout my entire experience. Not only was I extremely satisfied, I have become more confident in myself and that’s all thanks to Dr. Schaffner and his team. I feel so lucky to have Dr. Adam Schaffner as my plastic surgeon. I first met him in the emergency room at Lenox Hill Hospital after my dog accidentally ripped open my right eyelid with his nails. OUCH!! The attending ER doctor told me that it would leave a bad scar and asked if I would prefer to have a plastic surgeon handle it. Of course I agreed (it's my face!!) And Dr. Schaffner arrived shortly after. His work is magnificent. Totally flawless. I received 16 stitches in my eyelid and he even made me laugh while he was sowing me up. If you've ever had a needle in your eyelid, I'm sure laughing would be the last thing you'd think possible. He made me feel comfortable and "in good hands" the minute we met. His work was so good, that there is barely a trace of a scar (literally undetectable unless with magnifying glass). So... Dr. Schaffner saved my face! I am eternally grateful. After that, I decided that he would be the only surgeon to ever touch my face again. I have subsequently received a few treatments from him and I am thrilled with the results.
