I was referred to Dr. Mayberry by another Dr. after i had surgery a year prior. When i met Dr. Mayberry for my consultation, he and his staff,made us feel very welcomed. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting.. Dr. Mayberry took his time with me and explained alot of medical procedures that would take place when i was to have the surgery and very honest about the do's and dont's and the if's and maybe's. He answered all my questions. He has also a great sense of humor. Most Dr.'s are in a hurry to get you out of their offices, not Dr. Mayberry. When i am ready to have the surgery i look forward to having Dr. Mayberry do my surgery. I had a horrible experienced there! My first time ever and [last time] the receptionist didn't have a clue what she was doing and kept putting me off when I was trying to check in. Finally she gave me paper work and when I finished I brought it back up to her, she said okay it will be a few min. Over an hour later this lady Becky, who was doing my treatment came around the corner all out of sorts (I mean hot mess!) Took me back. She didn't really seem to listen to my needs or concerns. She was flying as fast as she could and she had a question for the Dr. Said she would be right back she wanted him to see on me...she returns alone and said he was too busy to see so she just went ahead and treated that vein anyways. She flew through my session within less than 10 min and during this time someone knocks on the door so she had to stop treatment with me open the door and the receptionist asked how much longer? Becky said we are finished! And puts the laser up. Wow talk about feeling taken care of and getting your needs met. I will never go back or recommend going to this spa for any reason. I waited an hour to herded like cattle. No thank you. Not for me. I will spend my money elsewhere.

I truly like Dr. Mayberry as a person but I am extremely depressed after spending $14k and feeling regretful. I don’t feel as though I was listened to as far as what I expected from my surgery and when I tried to voice my dis-sastifaction I was confronted with an attitude like “you should just be grateful”. Even after a revision I still feel very deformed. I just wish I could just go back in time at this point.

I went to Dr.Mayberry at the age of 18 inquiring about a rhinoplasty, at the consultation he gave me a mirror and asked me specifically what I wanted to change about my nose. I had been interested in a nose job since I was a child so I booked my surgery as soon as I could. When I got out of the operating room I was anxiously waiting for the reveal and I when I finally saw my new nose all I wanted to do was hug him. He did an immaculate job, he listened to all of my concerns and addressed them perfectly in the operating room, he seriously gave me everything I had asked for. I recommend him to anyone looking to enhance the beauty they already have. Besides the fact that he did an amazing job, the office itself is welcoming environment, and the staff is super sweet and helpful. Super glad I chose to go with him for such a big procedure, my face is changed forever and I have no regrets, i'd 100% consider getting other procedures done by him just based off of how great he did with my nose. Another surgeon I went to prior looked at me, said I needed to loose weight and sent me away without even really examining me. This Dr. Helped me find a way to do that without being rude and making me feel bad about myself. My daughter had an ear deformity through internet search found that Dr. Mayberry is the only doctor in Albuquerque to fit infants with the EarWell device. Dr. Mayberry was gentle installing the device and always kind and compassionate during our follow-up visits. He made himself available for phone calls and even an office visit late on a Friday when needed. His entire staff was incredibly helpful and friendly from the very first phone call, explaining the procedure associated costs. My insurance is not accepted at Mayberry Plastic Surgery, but I am filing a claim directly with insurance for compensation as there is no other EarWell provider in a reasonable driving distance. The staff was again very helpful providing all the documentation I would need to file an insurance claim. I would highly recommend Dr. Mayberry. We had a wonderful experience, and my daughter's ear looks perfect!

Last December I underwent a breast reduction with Dr. Mayberry. The customer service of his staff was high quality. I expressed my hope to alleviate back and shoulder pain caused by heavy breasts, and feel better in my clothes. I’d requested to go from a DDD/F to a C cup, something more proportional to my frame. My first issue came after the surgery when I felt rushed out of the surgery center despite requests to slow down because I was in pain. My requests for pain medication were denied until I was out of the hospital. It was a few months before I got a real sense of the size of my breasts. Eventually I began to realize, they weren’t that much smaller. Friends also mentioned it didn’t look like much of a change. Finally, after about 7-8 months, I decided to get measured at a department store. I was told I was a 36DD, only one cup size smaller than before. I had it repeated by another salesperson who stated the same thing. I was upset because I felt like I’d paid over $7000 to be practically the same size. I decided to reach out to Dr Mayberry last month. I told him I didn’t feel like my wishes were heard and I still had all the same problems. He invited me in to discuss liposuction. I was incredibly insulted. I’m no supermodel, but in no way obese. He couldn’t acknowledge that he’d failed to provide the service requested and instead tried to make MORE money off of me. I would not recommend Dr. Mayberry to friends. I should have known by the lack of reduction photos in his portfolio. Perhaps, as a male surgeon, he can’t possibly understand why a woman wouldn’t want larger breasts. I’m now paying off $7k and still have all the same issues.

After having a severely deviated septum my lifelong dream was finally achieved. Dr Mayberry was easy to talk to, listened thoroughly, & is an artist of beauty. I love my new look & it doesn't look superficial. I would highly recommend anyone to see Dr. Mayberry.

Went for a botox but the results were very sub-par, I had visible lines on my foreahead again 3 weeks after the injection. Went back and they admitted to the subpar results but asked for a full price for another injection, even though it was their mistake. No discounts, no refunds, unprofessional service. These people are just out to make a quick buck at your expense. Avoid if you value your hard-earned money.

I could not be more pleased with my recent experience at Mayberry Plastic Surgery. The nurse who did my lip injections was Julie Sanchez. She was nothing short of AMAZING! She was incredibly patient with me, and did did not make me feel as though I was a bother, even though I made her run over on her daily schedule! First of all, although I was able to arrive on time, I wasn’t able arrive early enough to complete my paperwork by the time of my appointment. That already put Julie behind. Julie also took a lot of time with me, showing me before and after photos of patients who had had the same types of fillers as I was going to have, and for the same purposes. She was also very thorough about going through the paperwork with me, and answering ALL of the million questions that I had. Because of these reasons, the time Julie spent with me made her run late on her schedule, which I deeply regret. I didn’t mean for that to happen; although, I am SO appreciative of the time she spent with me. So far, I am extremely impressed by the results! I’m hoping the swelling doesn’t go down too much more though :-) I was already prepared to have Juvederm injections as well, so I will have no problem going back in to have Julie work her magic on me again though, if need be. I am grateful to Dr. Mayberry for removing a mole from my face that was bleeding. I was nervous about having surgery on my face, but the scar is very thin and contoured to my smile line. Thankfully, the biopsy came back negative. I now have peace of mind. In comparison to having a mole removed by a dermatologist, this process was more involved. Dr. Mayberry took pictures, used them as a guide during surgery, marked where he would be making the incision, had pre-op and post-op appointments and followed the healing of the wound over time to insure it was healing properly. He was very thorough and kind. Office staff were friendly and called me by name. Would definitely recommend.
