I had been considering cosmetic surgery for a looooong time. Recently I saw Dr. Hamawy's advertisement in Industry Magazine. From the ad alone I felt comfortable enough to call and inquire about a consult. After speaking to the consultant I made an appointment. I went in Today for a consult with the Doctor. The office is modern/the staff well informed & personable. I felt completely at ease. They answered all my questions with no hesitations. I had not inquired with any other Doctors office before today's consult. After talking about the treatments and the future results I had no hesitation and booked my appointment then and there!

I consulted with Dr. Hamawy for under eye hollows and was told that voluma to cheeks would improve it however it did not and almost $2,000 later I still have under eye hollows and uneven cheek size-one cheek looks puffier than the other because 1ml was already placed in both cheeks I do not want to add anymore risking an even puffier unnatural look waiting for it to dissolve so disappointing

Dr. Hamawy and his staff were absolutely amazing throughout my experiences with them! I had originally went in May for a breast augmentation. With using the vectra system we decided on a size and after having the procedure I was unhappy with the size. On my own account I underestimated how big and how much projection I truly wanted. It ended up working out perfectly since Dr. Hamawy and his staff made sure to figure out how to accommodate my changing needs. Dr. Hamawy explained that it actually worked out to my benefit since doing the progression of getting 465cc implants first and then in the end finally getting 700cc worked out for myself by gradually making room for that 700cc implant. Both surgeries were very professional and went super smooth. Although i wasnt satisfied with my first outcome it was done beautifully and went smooth. I'm happy I decided to come to princeton plastic surgeons it was the best choice I could make. Dr. Hamawy is awesome and I would come back for any other procedure I could want for the future. Loretta Camille and Adrienne are also employees at princeton plastic surgeons and all three of them made my time there so easy and helped me feel so comfortable! Thankyou!!!

From procedure options, evaluation and consultation to financial concerns, you want to feel comfortable and know that you are in good hands. Princeton Plastic Surgeons and even more specifically with Dr. Hamawy and Practice Manager, Adrienne, expectations are exceeded in both comfort and open lines of communication. Consultations can seem daunting for someone who has yet to explore the option of plastic surgery but I can, without a doubt, say there is nothing more satisfying than receiving useful information and options for fixing your problem areas. I have been researching my specific concerns for quite some time and still left PPS with new information and a new found excitement for the next step. Both Dr. Hamawy and Adrienne possess a professionalism and personal approach that makes conversations clear, concise and easy to have. Scheduling is always a breeze, your time is valued and there is zero pressure! It is so abundantly clear that PPS strives to provide their patients with the information they need to make informed decisions about their wellbeing and in their best interest. Their use of technology in consultations to facilitate conversations and provide interactive visuals is a great touch for the modern client and questions are answered before even being asked! I cannot recommend Princeton Plastic Surgeons enough for their dedication to satisfaction from start to finish! For reference; I am a mom of two littles under 5. Age 30 and my abdomen is beyond PT, diet or exercise. I reached out to PPS after considering plastic surgery for nearly 5 years to repair my abdominal wall from pregnancy as it currently boasts a 1"+ gap through my midsection. Adrienne was the first person I connected with in the plastic surgery industry that made me feel comfortable enough to come in for a consultation. Dr. Hamawy was the first surgeon I've spoken to over the course of my 5 years considering that was honest. That's huge! He told me what I could do, what I couldn't do, what made the most logical sense, what made the most financial sense and what to expect from my decision(s) regarding the potential procedures. They're doing everything right and that's what it's all about!

Dr. Hamawy treated me for a few scars and also the excision of a birthmark this past year and he did a fantastic job! As a medical student I did a lot of research before I selecting him as my surgeon based on several factors and hope this might be useful for future patients. Skill: 10/10 Dr. Hamawy is in the prime of his career. There is not a better surgeon within the area. He has spent years perfecting his skills on thousands of patients and has completed two residencies which adds to his skill set as a surgeon. Went above and beyond to help me with my treatment, and tried different methods to improve the appearance of my scars. Even provided services I did not pay for in the initial consultation free of charge. It has been about 8 months since my surgery and the results look great! Experience: 10/10 Office is clean and modern, instruments are new, very friendly staff makes it easy to talk to and make appointments, relaxing music, one of the nicest office I have been to (like a spa) Patient Interaction: 9/10 Dr. Hamawy does a great job practicing patient centered medicine. He provides several different options and explains them well to help you make an informed decision in achieving your goal. He is kind and takes the time to personalize the treatments and tailors them to your specific needs (gives the best possible outcome as in my case), but requires some patience. With my case, he started treatment conservatively and then worked our way up with the treatments. Does a good job at answering questions, so ask plenty of them, and write the questions down! Overall a great experience, very satisfied with the end result!

One of the best doctor/surgeon that I have met! I had reconstructive surgery performed after mastectomy and his work is unbelievable. I never thought that I would have my breasts looking normal again but Dr. Hamway did the impossible. I feel great and look great all thanks to him. Don"t let him touch your nose... left my nose completely crooked when it wasn't even crooked before hand... looks worse than it looked before I went.. septum still deviated as well and nose looks bigger because of scar tissue which was never explained.. nose not porportioned to my face now and looks bigger than before. The response is a lie because after the procedure I told dr hamaway how dissapointed I was. The unethical response claiming a review is fake is laughable. Stop trying to save face and accept the review

After consulting with two plastic surgeons to remove a large lipoma on my leg, I decided that I was most comfortable with Dr. Hamawy. He was empathic, knowledgeable, and I was most comfortable with his approach. I didn't know anyone who had used Dr. Hamawy and took a leap of faith in deciding to go with him after reading online reviews. Naturally as my surgery date approached, I was anxious. However, as I was waiting to be taken to the operating room, the anesthesiologist told me not to worry because Dr. Hamawy was an excellent surgeon. It confirmed that my instinct had been correct and that I had chosen well. No complications and healing well. Office staff is welcoming and caring. Overall very satisfied!

I had always thought about having a Rhinoplasty/Septoplasty. I had gone for consultations before; however, I didn't feel comfortable for one reason or another. My experience with Dr. Hamawy and his Staff was excellent right from the very first visit. His staff was empathetic and approachable. Dr. Hamawy listened to my concerns and addressed them one by one which releaved the apprehension I had about the procedure. He examined my nose and septum and explained why I was having the problems I was experiencing.; and, we talked about realistic expectations from the surgery. The Staff was always welcoming whenever I had any questions or concerns prior to my surgery. The day of surgery Dr. Hamawy helped me to feel very relaxed pre and post-op, and, my surgery went extremely well. The post-op office follow-up went extremely well, and the encouragement received from the office staff was invaluable. TERRIBLE! The staff was very friendly and super pleasant. The facility was clean inviting. Unfortunately the doctor him self was terrible. I paid over $2000 for cool sculpting. It was a disaster. Didn’t work, and I was lied too. They told me it would flatten my flanks and even out my back. It did nothing. Not a single thing. And on top of that I still liked the place so I asked if the money I spent for cool sculpting could be put towards something else there. He offered me 20% of what I paid to be out towards lipo. He didn’t try and make it right. He didn’t want to work with me on even getting a second try at cool sculpting. They messed up in the procedure and I’m the one left $2000 short.its been since last March. Almost a year now. With no results

Thermitight shin treatment was recommended on my lower faced and neck. It is a non-surgical and a minimally invasive procedure. I'm writing this review to warn others to stay away from this practice. Bear with me as I share my story. I wanted to get laser hair removal done on my face and decided to go to Dr Hamawy. His prices were higher than others but his positive reviews online made me feel like it would be worth it. I had gotten 6 sessions done by a woman practitioner named Nia. My skin reacted normally during each session with minimal discomfort and zero burns. During the 7th session, Nia was no longer working there and Dr Hamawy decided to lead the session. During this session the pain was excruciating. I asked Dr Hamawy if he was using the same intensity as Nia was and he confirmed. He proceeded to finish my face and neck and scurried out of the room without a single word. I left the practice in a significant amount of pain and drove home. Upon arriving home my parents saw my face and asked what happened. That's when I noticed the second degree burns under my chin on my neck. I emailed Princeton Plastic Surgeons asking them what I should do. They got back to me the following morning telling me that "It will be fine. Put Neosporin on it". I asked if they could prescribe me some mediation as the pain was unbearable. Adrienne confirmed that Dr Hamawy would prescribe me medication. However a full day went by and he did not prescribe any medication. I followed up with Adrienne several times and she was of no help. As a last resort my parents took me to the emergency room where I was treated for second degree burns. Three days later Dr Hamawy finally prescribed me medication. Apparently he was too busy up until then to follow up with his own patient. It has been six months since this unfortunate experience and I still have large scars. As an actress by profession these scars have made working very difficult. Dr Hamawy has still not called a single time to follow up. I went to this facility because of the positive reviews I read online. I hope by sharing my experience others can be spared by this inept "surgeon".

I was forced to choose one star; I would prefer to choose none at all. I want this to be an anonymous review so I am not using my real name. I want to warn everyone about Dr. Hamawy. I have never written a negative review about anyone else before this, and have never had a problem with any other doctor prior to this experience. Not only did he perform a procedure on me that is making it necessary for me to have surgery done by another doctor, I found out later that it was not supposed to be done in that particular area. ( I do not want to specify what procedure was done since I do not know what might problems might arise for me for writing a negative review). He was also supposed to take precautions in order to determine if I would react negatively to the procedure. As for the results, they have altered my appearance to the point where I am disfigured. People think I am a victim of domestic abuse. I did not sue, although I thought of it, because I just figure he would just deny it and most likely find a way to get rid of my before and after photos (the ones he took in his office). Plus, the emotional distress I have been under has been enough to bear and the thought of doing anything else would be too much to bear. I am waiting for my surgery which will happen this month (which will not be covered under my insurance and I will have to pay over $3,000 for). It took me several months to even find a doctor who would do the procedure. The doctor that is to perform it is not even guaranteeing results although he is hopeful. I am grateful that there is even a chance of having a normal life again. The thousands I paid to Dr.Hamawy for the "improvements" he was supposed to make will not be recouped. After all is said and done, the mistake of going to Dr. Hamawy will cost me well over $7,500. This includes his charges, for which I got nothing except for what I described; bills for the other doctors, including the surgery; and other miscellaneous items connected with this. Take my advice and do NOT go to him for treatment. There are many other reputable plastic surgeons in the Princeton area. When I went back to him, thinking he would make things right, he just denied that there was any problem. He also conveniently forgot any pertinent details we had discussed during our previous visits nor did he have any records of this. He is very unprofessional and dishonest. The three other doctors I have been to, two in Princeton and one in Hamilton, all agree that he should have not performed the procedure that was done.

During my consult with Dr. Hamawy, I was so impressed with his professionalism. He listened and provided different options for me to consider. He was very thorough and patient. Upon leaving the consultation I knew my search was over. I contacted Adrienne and booked my surgery for liposuction and fat transfer to buttocks. It’s been 4 weeks since my surgery and I can’t rave enough about Dr. Hamawy’s artistic skills! The results are beyond my expectation. He has given me curves that I didn’t think were possible. Best of all, it looks so natural. Throughout my recovery, I’ve had the pleasure of working with his nurse Loretta who has answered all my questions and has been helpful during my recovery phase. Everyone at the office is a delight. Chanel is always pleasant and greets you with a smile every time. I highly recommend Dr. Hamawy. He’s not only an outstanding surgeon, he has a superb staff at his side. I look forward to having other procedures done here:).

This was the first cosmetic procedure I ever had done and am so happy that I picked Dr. Hamawy to do it. I was nervous about getting lip fillers but they educated me and Dr. Hamawy himself did an amazing job on my lips. So excited to get them done again! I’ve been wanting to try botox under my arms during my next visit & have been terrified to try it but the staff has been very informative and answers any questions I have. Today: Billing Company and the doctor office are not on a same page. I was billed $2000 six months later for 5 minute visit to remove stitches. Read below for details. I visited their office as a follow-up to my ER visit where this doctor was on call that day. In speaking with the office staff member, she mentioned that because the doctor was on call the day of my ER visit so the follow-up is covered. (This is important to note as this doctor is out of network.) Because during my follow-up visit stitches will need to be removed so to ensure I am not charged out of network service I wanted to confirm with the office that follow-up (& stitches removal) was covered by my insurance as I did not want to be billed for out of network service. That member confirmed to me that after speaking with my insurance company this visit will be covered. Well I visited their Princeton office in 10/2017 and about a month ago I received a bill from them for $2,000. I called the office and when I spoke with the person who originally helped me and explained my situation. Instead of saying "let me help..." I was told that they outsource their billing so I would have to call them directly. I WAS TOTALLY SURPRISED WITH THE RESPONSE. THIS WAS NOT MY EXPERIENCE WHEN I ORIGINALLY VISITED. Total 360. Anyway, then I called the billing company and the person told me that they will call the office and call me back. After no calls from anyone I followed-up with the office a week or two later for an update. The response I received was the matter was passed on to the doctor’s assistance. It’s been a month now and I have not heard anything. I am not sure if I would recommend this practice to anyone. THERE SERVICE IS EXCEPTIONAL, INITIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO BRINGING IN CLIENTS, BUT EQUALLY OPPOSITE WHEN CONTINUING TO SERVICE THEM. Not happy at all. I waited a month before updating my reviews in the hopes this matter would be resolved. I will update my review once the matter is resolved. ***** Review six months ago: The best staff I've ever met. Very responsive, especially Camielle, who is the front desk manager.
