Can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Blau. I went to Dr Blau after having a gynecomastia and nipple reduction procedure with one of the other “best” NY-based surgeons a few years before. That procedure had gone poorly and the surgeon refused to admit that his procedure hadn’t fixed the issues and in some ways made them worse. In contrast, Dr. Blau was super patient and understanding from the get go, and was able to talk about my specific issues and how they needed to be addressed in ways that the other surgeon hadn’t. Dr. Blau worked with me to get the result I wanted and even did a small follow up procedure for free to make sure I was as happy as possible. I’m very happy I went to Dr. Blau with with the result! Would highly recommend Dr. Blau, don’t make the mistake of going to someone else

I had a consult w/ Dr. Blau in September 2012 regarding a breast implant revision. I some asymmetry and, just the nature of being an athlete, my breast implants had shifted and didn't look the way they did when I first had them done! Dr. Blau is not only a surgeon but also a sculptor and artist. I trusted in his vision and suggestions to have me do a revision surgery going a bit larger to fill in the loose skin and based on my heavy weight training keep them over the muscle I am now 4 weeks post op and they turned out beautiful. I couldn't be happier! They have no impact on my weight training which has been an issue w/ many of my friends in the sport. My recovery was easy and I was back in the gym faster than anticipated. Incidentally I also have him do my Botox... there is nothing worse than spending a lot of money on Botox and getting poor results. With Dr. Blau he makes sure that you will have a positive result and not waste your time or money.

I suffered from gynocomastia from a young age. Even being thin as I got older and started working out I was able to build a very impressive musclular physique. But no matter how defined I was there was still the tissue of gyno which remained. Dr Blau is the most reccomended Dr. that every body builder or physically fit person in NY and Tri state area knows. The first consultation you can tell the staff and Dr Blau is courteous and very professional. Dr Blau's keen eye in detail and the structure of the muscular pectural muscle is very impressive. Day of the operation went smoothly and post op 3 days later the unbelievable difference even with the swollen muscle. He did a fantastic job! I would recommend him to everybody!

I went to Dr. Blau for gynecomastia revision surgery in June 2019 and so far am extremely happy with the results. I had previously been treated by two other prominent NYC-based plastic surgeons who specialize in gynecomastia. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the outcome of those procedures. Dr.Blau - Great gynecomastia surgeon and great guy! I developed gynecomastia during puberty and it effected my confidence and self-esteem greatly. I am a fitness enthusiastic and work extremely hard to stay in shape. However, no matter what I did, or how low my bodyfat level got, I always had "puffy nipples." After doing little research and locating a plastic surgeon in my area (MA), I had surgery performed in 2008 under general anesthesia in which the surgeon used a liposection technique an attempt to reduce the puffyness. Needless to say, the results were less than stellar. I was left with a large hole my wallet, weeks of lost time in gym, and no increase in self esteem. If anything, I felt more depressed because I was unable to workout and still had a case of gynecomastia that was not corrected. A few years went by, and I contemplated having the surgery done again. I did more extensive research and had a friend that had gone to Dr.Blau and he stated he was extremely pleased with the results. I had my second surgery performed in September 2011 under local anesthesia. The surgery is virtually painless and takes about an hour or so. After a few weeks I was back in the gym and very pleased with my results. Dr. Blau is a very down to earth individual and wants all his patients to be happy with their results. He has gone beyond what I think any other surgeon would do to in order to fulfill my needs. I recommend anyone that suffers from gynecomastia to consult with Dr.Blau and have the surgery performed. You will not be disappointed. Dr.Blau and his staff members are extremely cordial and will make you feel at ease during the entire process.

I am a transgender person and for many years prior to my medical transition, I read, researched and obsessed over post-surgical results for the various surgery techniques and the surgeons that performed them. As I searched for a surgeon, I constantly found myself wondering if I would get the results I wanted and if the surgeon would be able to perform the surgical technique I wanted. There are quite a few surgeons touting to specialize in top surgery (breast removal) for trans people, but because we do not make up a large part of the population, many of these surgeons did not perform more than 10-20 per year. Dr. Blau has been hailed as the best surgeon for gynecomastia for a large part of his career. I wanted a surgeon who was the most experienced in the type of surgery I needed and after my research, it was clear that surgeon was Dr. Blau. Upon consulting with him and his staff, I felt at ease and confident in my choice. The team treated me like every patient who comes to their office, with respect, sincerity and care. I could not have asked for a better experience or better people to be around. I did have a complication (excess bleeding) while in post-op recovery that has necessitated a revision, but despite that I am extremely pleased with my results and feel confident day to day in how I look and feel. Dr. Blau and his staff sincerely care about how I am doing physically and how I feel about the results on an emotional level as well. I can't thank them enough for helping me and would highly recommend them to any person requiring this surgery.

My journey started when I was 13 and I always had alot more fat on my chest than all my friends. Ever since then I was uncomfortable to take my shirt off in public. As the years went on i learned to deal with it i guess but it was always in the back of my mind but I never knew there was something I could do about it. As the years went on I got really into fitness and the gym. I tried to turn my fatty chest into muscle but actually made it look worse and more pronounced. I never knew what I had until the internet came about and I started doing a little research on my condition. I was not alone. I learned that what i had was a medical condition called Gynecomastia. I was actually relieved that I wasn't alone. I began almost obsessing and wanting to fix the problem so badly. But didn't know where to start. I started watching you tube videos after video and read every article i could on this condition. After about 2 years of my own research one name kept popping up. Review after review Dr Mordcai Blau's name kept on surfacing. So I started doing more research on him. What i learned was that with over 30 years experience and about 500 surgeries per year this man in the doctor i wanted to meet. Most plastic surgeons do a little bit of everything. It is unheard of that a plastic surgeon can make a living just doing 1 type of procedure. Well he definately does I found out. I finally schedueled a consultation and when i met him I was almost star struck because I had watched so many videos of him for so many years. I have to say most doctors do not have bed side manner. He was by far the nicest and honest doctor I ever met. Every question i asked he was patient and I didn't feel preasured or rushed during the consultation. His calm demeanor was nice too especially because I am a nervous person when it comes to surgeries. His office was so nice and I almost felt at home. Very non hospital like. Couches and nice sculptures and the office staff was incredible. As soon as i walked in and was greeted by the staff i felt very at ease. Then meeting him was the icing on the cake. Skipping ahead a little i finally booked the surgery and was on my way to a nice new flat chest and a new me. The day of the surgery i was a little nervous was not as bad as I thought i would know how many surgeries this man does in a day. About 4 per day i found out. The surgery was fast and smooth and before i knew it I was in the car driving home. What a relief and the best day of my life! The next couple of weeks was a little uncomfortable but i never even took an advil. Very little pain and i was back work in 3-4 days. Right away you notice a major difference. As the months go on the results get better and better. Before I knew it I was walking around shirtless more and actually wearing tight fitted shirts .I was just recently down in Florida and was in the pool and not only did i feel great but kept getting compliments from people. I would recommend Dr. Blau to anyone I know. He is the go to man for this procedure.

Dr. Blau- The artist of surgery! I developed gynecomastia during puberty and it affected my self confidence and self-esteem greatly. Being a three sport athlete in high school I trained frequently, but no matter how hard I trained I still suffered from "puffy nipples" / gynecomastia. I first became aware of Dr. Blau after seeing several of his patients in my work as a Physician at another office. One of the patients, a former navy seal, had a very severe deformity after surgery with another surgeon, although he still had remaining gynecomastia.After surgery with Dr. Blau, I saw him several months later, and he looked normal with no evidence of having had surgery. I was so impressed that I referred another patient, a body builder with severe gynecomastia, with similar results. Maryanne was very pleasant and helpful, and the office was bright and filled with art done by Dr. Blau,an accomplished artist himself.He was very patient with my anxiety and answered all my questions until I felt confident enough to schedule the surgery. The surgery itself was much less traumatic than I expected. I woke up about in a great mood feeling only mild soreness and went home in about another hour. Four months later I am completely heeled with no scar at all.I can"t tell you how happy I am. Dr. Blau never promised to make me perfect but my chest has never looked better.You should not even consider another surgeon,in my opinion, and I will be eternally grateful. I am a medical doctor in my mid 20s living in PA. I grew up with gynecomastia. I first noticed it as I was going through puberty in my early teenage years. Despite being in the medical field, I lived in denial into most of my adult life. I thought it would go away as I got older or with diet and exercise, but it never did. Eventually I realized that I wanted to have control of my body and no longer let gyno dictate so many aspects of my life. As a physician, I knew how important it would be to find the right surgeon for this procedure. I went to many different surgeons in the Philadelphia area, but did not feel comfortable with any of them. Despite some of them having favorable reviews, it never felt right. None of them made me feel like they actually cared about anything but the money involved. Some would get annoyed when I would ask general questions about the procedure and healing etc. I thought that them having knowledge of the fact that I too am a physician would at least give more incentive to have patience with my questions. However, that was not the case. My negative experiences made me do more research. From early on, I noticed that Dr. Blau was a name that kept coming up when I researched the condition. I looked at his work and knew right away he was very talented. I liked how his patients would lose the gyno without losing the natural shape and contour in their chests that I feel most grown men should have. He also had many favorable reviews. Initially, I thought it would be too far from home to travel to his office for the procedure. But eventually I decided to not let my commute be the deciding factor in where I got the surgery done and gave his office a call. I was greeted on the phone by his longtime secretary Maryanne. She is so friendly and immediately makes you feel comfortable. I explained my situation to her and she immediately understood and told me she would have Dr. Blau speak to me right away. I was floored that such a busy and successful surgeon would make the time to speak to me on the phone the first time I called. Every other office I called would not let me speak to the surgeon without an appointment. Dr. Blau immediately took the time to get to know me and did not seem rushed at all. He answered all of my questions without hesitation or attitude. He explained to me in great detail what to expect if I had the surgery done with him. He also asked me general questions about myself to get to know me. I sent him over pictures and he worked with me on the cost. I scheduled my surgery for later that month. This procedure was the first surgery in my life and I was nervous, but Dr. Blau made me feel very comfortable. The moment I walked in, he greeted me by name and even remembered some of the details from our phone conversation earlier that month. The procedure is done before you know it. He gave me pain medications afterwards, but I did not need to take any. I stayed in contact with him throughout my healing process. He was always available to answer any of my questions, even on weekends. I was truly amazed with my results. My chest looked better then I could have dreamed of. Immediately after the surgery I was able to wear white shirts without hesitation. Not only did I not have gyno anymore, my chest looked defined and my pectoral muscles were more evident. My self confidence was so much higher. As happy as I was with the results, he always seemed to find things to improve the final look on my follow up visits. I am very happy I made the choice to have this procedure done with Dr. Blau. I highly recommend him for anyone who is looking to have this procedure done. He is well worth the cost and travel. It is better to have it done the right way the first time, then to take short cuts and regret it later. I can honestly say that all the praise that Dr. Blau gets is well deserved and genuine. After a consultation a couple of months ago I finally went to Dr Blau for chest surgery almost three weeks ago. I knew him due to his reputation and via the recommendations of close friends. In pre op Dr Blau made no huge promises of outcome as my age(51) may be against me in terms of skin elasticity. So I went in there just hoping for the best. The procedure went very smoothly and with only about 45 minutes total operating time. A lot of guys I know had surgeries lasting at least 2 hours and some even 4 hours. My friend saw the results before I was bandaged up and she was amazed at the job he had done. No scars at all. A side note for those of you who may not be aware (and I am sure that is a lot of people) This surgery usually involves a large incision straight across the chest which basically leaves you scarred for life. Fast forward to today...it has been almost three weeks since surgery. Dr Blau removed my bandages after week one. The skin is healing wonderfully and the only sign of surgical intervention are two small V shaped incisions on the side of the nipple which will disappear completely. My chest looks amazing and much better than I could have anticipated. The whole experience was made so easy for me from his office staff to his anesthesiologist (who deserves great credit for putting me totally at ease!) I had no nerves on the day whatsoever. I would highly recommend Dr Blau to anyone seeking a skilled cosmetic surgeon.

Dr Blau is considered the best for a reason. I had previously undergone corrective surgery by another surgeon, twice, with poor results. I was iffy about going under the knife again, but felt confident after reading about how good Dr. Blau is. I am an amateur body builder and could not go pro because of my gynecomastia condition. The gyno was so bad that I was losing some of my motivation to go to the gym and push myself. I thought about surgery, but a friend of mine who had gynecomastia surgery was unhappy with his results and so I was afraid to go under the knife and be disappointed. I started doing a lot of research online and Dr. Blau's name came up again and again. I met another friend from school, a navy seal, who had surgery by Dr. Blau. He showed me his chest and i could not believe how perfect it looked - i could not see one scar. Finally I realized that Dr. Blau is the only surgeon I could trust with my body and I called is office to make an appointment. From the moment I spoke to Maryann, I was sold. She was very knowledgeable and a compassionate and caring person. The waiting room had a selection of Dr. Blau's own art on display, which was a nice touch and gave me more confidence that he was a guy who understands the fundamentals of visual appearance. He does a ton of gynecomastia surgeries, and I met lots of other patients from as far away as London and Australia. Dr. Blau is the one you need to go to if you’re looking to have gynecomastia surgery. He specializes in this surgery and he’s the best in the country. Patients travel from all over the country and even other countries to meet with him. I came to him with a complicated case because I had already undergone a Gyno surgery with a different doctor who didn’t do a good job. I came to Dr. Blau with a lot of scars and still the same Gyno problem. He was able to correct the problem by removing the Gyno and also scar tissue. To Whom It May Concern, I was first made aware of Dr. Blau by an acquaintance back in November of 2015. Eleven months later and following an online Google search, I located corresponding websites and called for an initial consultation. I conversed with Mary Ann who was extremely professional, courteous and helpful. She scheduled an appointment for 10/31/2016. On the day of my appointment I drove from New Jersey to White Plains, New York. Wow. It has been 9 days since my gynecomastia surgery and it looks amazing already. Yes I am a bit bruised but I didn't think I would look this good in such short amount of time. Dr. Blau might be the best gynecomastia surgeon in the world. He is however extremely expensive but he is worth every penny. I had a severe case and I was in and out of surgery in about an hour and a half. I was out of the recovery room and on my way home in about another hour. I had to wear compression bandages for only 4 days and I had no pumps and no complications whatsoever! Now the only problems I have with Dr. Blau is that he has a lack of bedside manners. My initial consultation was literally 10 minutes and he maybe talked to me for 2 minutes before the actual surgery. He just seems like an extremely busy man, but that is understandable. Supposedly he does like 300 of these surgeries a year. Nevertheless I would recommend this surgeon over anyone. Good luck to all.

I am a health care professional and went in for my gynecomastia surgery July 8. Today I am 5 days out , zero pain meds , no bruising , normal swelling , very happy . I’m from Texas and could have gotten it down here for $3500, but I refuse to take the chance and I know you get what you pay for . It was worth every penny, because I got what I expected . The most affordable care is not the cheapest , it’s the one that works the best . I also did this for reasons besides aesthetics . I found myself chasing my testosterone replacement therapy with anti estrogens and aromatase inhibitors which in the long run compound and become dangerous . Dr. Blau is the GREATEST Plastic Surgeon hands down, he is a true artist. I suffered from pubertal gynecomastia my whole life. I made the mistake of going to a Plastic Surgeon with little experience of removing Gynecomastia, and within six months of removing part of the tissue my gynecomastia returned. I had spent 7 thousand dollars to have it removed for 6 months I was devastated. Then I heard about Dr. Blau, I had a consultation and he reassured me that he could fix the problem and never have to worry about it coming back. I had gynecomastia surgery with Dr. Blau in 2010. I had seen the hundreds of before-and-after photos and his experience and results spoke for themselves. Fortunately, the surgery went about as well as these things go. I was comforted by the fact that I could have the surgery in a lovely, private office (with a hospital nearby in case of emergency). Dr. Blau has a great staff - I particularly remember that his office manager was a real hoot. The medical assistants and anesthesiologist also seemed like top people who do this stuff all day every day. The recovery went pretty quickly - I rested up in Dr. Blau's recovery room for a few hours before returning to my accommodations nearby (I highly recommend staying in White Plains day of surgery for peace of mind). I actually started a new job about a week after the surgery. It's now more than seven years post-op and I am really glad I chose to undergo gynecomastia surgery with Dr. Blau. The shape of my chest is exactly what I wanted, and the surgery inspired me to live a more fit lifestyle. The main drawback is the expense - Dr. Blau is premium.

I’ve suffered from gynecomastia ever since I was 16 and I finally decided to get the procedure done to remove my gyno. However, I had no idea where to start. I originally found a doctor from the New York area who was pretty popular on Instagram and YouTube.
