It all started at the age of 22 when I had my first child. At 5'1 and a weight of 97lbs. before being pregnant, I delivered a 10lb. baby by c-section and had three more babies with c-sections within 8 years. I was always in shape, good health and took very good care of my skin leaving no stretch marks or cellulite! I then began having problems with my health that lead to 13 different surgeries and the last was a supercervical hysterectomy that left me a physical mess and in terrible misery. I had developed a disfiguring monstrosity of a stomach that was heavy and pulled on my scar. Every other part of my body was the same except for my stomach, I looked like tweety bird! With my kids now grown and 48 years old I wanted my little curvaceous body back. Working out was toning everything but I was becoming depressed and tired. I went on a quest determined to find me the right Dr. that I could trust and confide in. I wasn't trying to look like I did before kids, I just wanted to be healthy! Many of the men Dr.s were very big on the "MommyMakeover" procedure, not me! Nothing against them or their clients, more power to you, it just wasn't what I was looking for. I kept returning to Dr. Doft's website and reading her bio. and I loved how she looked at the woman's body as individuals and respected that. There was just something pulling at me that this is the Doctor for me! I had been saving money and now it was time to make the call. It was January 2017, a year since I began the search and a delightfully gracious lady answered the phone. It was Michelle and I just adore her, she made me feel calm and comfortable. Answered all my questions and never once judged me! While in the waiting room, I had the delightful pleasure of meeting Dr. Doft's mother who assured me that I was in great hands and I could tell by the twinkle in her eyes and how proudly she spoke of her daughter that I was in good hands! I was called into the room and had to really try and keep my composure and NOT cry. I had brought photo's of before, during and after kids and surgery while telling her my story. I was always dressed to cover and conceal my stomach because I had people actually touch my stomach and ask when I was due...so humiliating. Dr. Doft looked at me, took pictures and said the magic words: "I can help you"! I scheduled the surgery for May and devoted myself to cleansing by body, quit smoking, took the vitamins she told me to and kept active! The day had arrived and in walked Dr. Doft and her amazing team, she measured me and marked me for surgery and all I kept thinking is, this is how I sew! I was astonished by her accuracy, grace and kindness, what a beautiful gift that has been bestowed upon her. When I woke up, yes there was some pain but it felt like everything was in the right place and I could see my feet for the first time in years! I can only describe it as having a very well made tailored fitted dress that you never want to take off! I was sent to recuperate with my very caring and compassionate nurse for the next 24 hours before my trip home. I loved how comfortable I was with her and she also put up with my sense of humor! I had named my drains; Left was Penny and the Right was Penelope! Friends and family are amazed and astonished at how fast I have healed and how small the scar is if any at all! I have such a deep respect for Dr. Doft and greatly appreciate the very impressive work she did for me! I am forever indebted to her for she has given me my life back! I run every day, I swim, ride bikes, pretty much anything and everything. Dr. Doft is professional and angelic and I wanted to be the best patient she ever had because she is my hero! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! My before pictures are "scary" but my youngest daughter took one of me at the beach wearing a 2 piece for the first time in many years, I am 5 months post-op in the picture! Luckily I was asleep or I never would have allowed her to do so! All I had done was a Tummy Tuck and Lipo. to the flank area!

Late on a Friday evening (1/16/15) about 11:30pm, I had an accident and got a deep cut right above my eyebrow. I went to North Shore LIJ hospital at 54 and Lexington about midnight. There were only 4 doctors a couple of nurses but 40+ patients. I only had a cut over my eye that needed stitches so I waited from midnight to 3am to see a doctor. When Dr. Jennifer Muniz saw my eye she said I would need a plastic surgeon and she called one. To my surprise Dr. Doft arrived 20 minutes later with such a great bedside manner, especially at 3:20am. She sewed me up with 25 stitches all with a smile. I came home to CA and had the stitches undone and the Plastic Surgeon that saw her work was impressed. Dr. Doft emailed me the next week to see how I was doing. The most memorable part of the evening was how sweet and concerned Dr. Doft was even though she had to leave her family at 3am in the morning. If I had elective Plastic Surgery I would actually fly to NYC to have Dr. Doft do the surgery, that is how impressed with her I am.

Very misleading. Just to start I don't have many doctor visits or experience dealing with doctors and their billing. So the first question I asked was if the procedure was fully covered and if there was any out of pocket expenses. Without hesitating she said no, it would be covered by my insurance. Didn't think anything of it, she answered quickly so I thought just experience. The 2min procedure was done, sometime passes and the bill arrives. To my surprise the bill was not fully covered and 1k is due. She should have been more considerate taken the time to answer my questions accurately and made sure we were ok with what was due. I finally realized why she rushed through our hospital visit, she was literally in and out. I tried speaking with her and she would not take my calls and her office staff keeps telling me I must pay.

Dr. Doft was a nice woman but i unfortunately will not be returning to her office ever again. The service i was seen for was lip fillers. With this being my first time having any kind of cosmetic procedure, i was nervous and had a lot of questions... especially since we are talking about my face. She seemed short with me and the furthest thing from comforting. She put the numbing cream on my lips and left the room and came back 10 minutes later, which would be fine if i didn't know she stayed with my friend (who also had a procedure done) answering all of her questions and talking to her throughout that time.. so i expected the same. While explaining my experience to the same friend who's seen her she shared that she was taken into a separate room to have before and after pictures taken, another thing that was NOT done for me. After the injections Dr. Doft informed me that there was "just a little" left and that maybe she should add more to my bottom lip which i agreed with. After the bottom lip there was still "a little" left so we added more to the top lip. After the top lip there was still "a little" left that we agreed to add to the corners of my bottom lip. Being that she is the doctor and this was my first time, i trusted her opinion. After sharing my story with numerous doctors in the same field as Dr. Doft i was told by several of them that there is a very good chance this was done to avoid her having to store the remainder of whats left in the syringe and avoid blocking out time to see me at a future date. At the end of the procedure when i was walked out to pay, at THIS time i was asked to sign the consent form because it her front desk staff "forgot" to give it to me before. $650 later i left feeling uneasy and immediately regretting letting her touch my lips. As Dr. Doft informed me, my lips had hard ball like clumps days following the procedure which i was told to massage out and they should disappear, Dr Doft offered to have my come back for her to take a look but i would never go back to there due to the way she made me feel so unwelcome so here i am almost 5 months later and still have these ugly bumps along with an UNEVEN SMILE. Ive visited other offices to have them try to massage the bumps out and no luck at all. I absolutely regret going here and don't suggest ANYONE go here to have this procedure done unless you want to leave hating your lips more then you did before. Being only 21 i would have loved to love my lips and my experience so i could have a doctor to see when my lips need touchup throughout my life and unfortunately that is not the case with Dr. Doft whatso ever. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE SERVICE, HAAATTTTTEEEE MY LIPS AND REGRET GIVING THIS PRACTICE MY MONEY.

I found Dr. Doft because she was listed as a Dr. who puts the Earwell ear molds on infants. After reading about her clinical trials with Earwell and her experience I called the office to make my appointment. Michelle; who is the friendly voice on the other end of the phone, quickly got us an appointment for the NEXT DAY understanding that this particular issue is time sensitive. Not only did she understand, but she explained to me WHY it is time sensitive and was SO knowledgeable making an uncomfortable situation SO comfortable. Upon entering Dr. Doft's beautiful office, we were greeted by Michelle with a smile and felt comfortable instantly. I have no doubt that Dr. Doft is the best Plastic Surgeon in NYC. I got a breast reduction done by her after meeting with several PSs for months before. Meeting Dr. Doft was such a gift. I recommend anyone in NYC needing a breast reduction (or rhinoplasty/other plastic surgery) to go to her. Portfolio: her portfolio of breast reductions were absolutely beautiful! I saw several other PS's portfolios and didn't get particularly excited. I needed the breast reduction for pain reasons, but I was just going to accept "okay" looking breasts after seeing the other PS's portfolios. This mindset changed once I saw Dr. Doft's portfolio. She makes your breasts look SO beautiful. As a young woman, I actually got excited about getting the surgery, rather than simply feeling like I have to get it done for pain reasons. I can only imagine that her other work is just as beautiful. If I ever get around to future plastic surgery, I plan to fly to NYC just to be treated by her. She is THAT good. As an added bonus, she is such a respectful, thoughtful person that she doesn't post her photos on the internet. You must go in to protect the privacy of her patients. It takes a really lovely doctor to put her patients' privacy above marketing herself. My experience: I am 2 days out from surgery now. My breasts already look great and they don't hurt. She is a miracle worker! I went from like a G/H to maybe a C/D. I have no doubt her work will change my life - I will no longer be in constant pain. We were nervous at first, because we didn’t want to cause any harm or discomfort to our baby boy, but Dr. Doft provided us with a non-invasive solution that our son didn’t even seem to notice. Over the course of four weeks, we saw improvement with each of our weekly visits (which were scheduled at a time most convenient for us, which is unheard of now-a-days!), and we left our final check-up as very appreciative, happy parents.

Dr. Doft is incredibly skilled, and has a fantastic bedside manner. When I needed stitches on my face she was the first and only doctor I thought to call. She stitched me up, taking extra care as it was on my face. Other doctors suggested staples or fewer stitches, but Dr. Doft opted for multiple smaller stitches, even though it was more work intensive for her, as she knew it would give me a better result. She was right, when I show friends where I was stitched up no one can tell that I had an injury at all. She is the best, meticulous, and has a great tableside manner. I highly reccomend her.

Dr. Doft made room in her schedule to see us right away and was so incredibly kind and professional yet personable throughout the whole process. She had a natural maternal ability to care which was extremely comforting when you have a first newborn! We received incredible results from the mold in just two weeks. I had a breast reduction done by Dr. Doft in March 2019 and as other reviews have stated, I do not think I would have felt so comfortable going through with the procedure if it wasn't for Dr. Doft’s expertise and kindness. During my initial consultation she took the time to explain the procedure and answer any questions that I had (Was it the right choice to make? Am i old enough? Was it actually going to relieve my pain?). As a female in my early 20’s I was hesitant about going through with this procedure, but Dr. Doft assured me that she would help me to feel so much better-- and she was right. On the day of my surgery I had at least three other hospital staff members comment on how incredible Dr. Doft was and that I “definitely chose the right surgeon”. I think that it speaks volumes that not only is she clearly appreciated by her patients, but is also highly respected by her coworkers. My mom lives six hours away and therefore was unable to be there for the surgery. Without me even needing to ask, Dr. Doft took the time after surgery to call my mom and speak with her directly to tell her the details of how surgery went. My mom was so grateful to have an immediate update from the doctor herself-- not just my post-surgery-sleepy opinion on how things went. It is also important to note how incredible Dr. Doft’s office manager, Michelle, is! I called the office 10+ times before and immediately after my surgery to ask so many questions and figure out scheduling issues. Throughout the process Michelle was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I never felt like a nuisance for asking even the smallest and silliest of questions, which is not always the case at many doctor’s offices. I truly credit my smooth recovery to Dr. Doft’s skillfulness. The scars that the surgery left are incredibly clean, thin, and better than I could have ever imagined them looking. Dr. Doft sent me care instructions and even offered a list of homeopathic options which I sincerely appreciated. When I looked in the mirror and saw myself for the first time after surgery I remember not being able to hold back tears of joy. I have wanted a breast reduction since 8th grade and I was finally able to look in the mirror and not hate what my chest looked like. Dr. Doft honestly changed my life for the better and I could not be more grateful for her.
