I was referred to Dr Ciminello by a friend who has had multiple surgeries with him so I trusted that I was in good hands. That feeling was only reinforced after meeting Dr Ciminello and his staff. I went to Dr Ciminello post Moh's surgery for a scar that the dermatologist told me that I should just "live with". The dermatologist told me that I was lucky the cancer was out and that I shouldn't worry about the scar. Not only was the scar big and ugly but due to scar tissue it also hurt. Dr Ciminello told me not to worry....not only did he work wonders, now I can barely see the scar and no more pain! Thank you Dr C!

My 8 year old son had an accident in school and was terrified when he was told he needed to get stitches. I was referred by my sons Pediatrician to see Dr. Ciminello. His professionalism as well as his staff was amazing! It was the BEST experience by far I have ever encountered with any doctor for my children. He made my son feel extremely comfortable. Yesterday, my son got his stitches removed and my son told Dr. Ciminello - "You are the best doctor and I'm lucky to have met you!" Thank you Dr.!

Came in with a cyst on my ear that was misdiagnosed by my original Dr. Then spent all day trying to find any Dr that would see me only to be told at least 4x "we don't do that". He took me in while they're closing down, removed it, it healed perfectly, couldn't be happier. Great job, and nice people.

Had an operation to remove a simple fatty tissue from the back of my head. Dr. Ciminello didn't remove all of it and it has since grown back. The incision was also stitched up very poorly - The scar is huge and unsightly. I am not looking forward to going through this painful procedure again with another surgeon to actually remove it.

Don't let dr Chiminello trick you with his chatty and too confident attitude!!!!!He has experience in pediatric cranial surgery and too confident that he can do much more beside that ,but in terms of plastic/esthetic surgery, his work is really HORRIBLE!!!!! Do good research before choosing this doctor!!!! Don't ignore when you see not well-rated reviews about this doctor and think about it, think about why these reviews are there, why people write a bad reviews about him.Would they write a bad reviews if he would have done a good job!? Good reviews could write his family members,no!? A friend of mine who know dr Chiminello recommended him as I was planning to go for a rhinoplasty.I thought it would be nice as my friend knows him so I'll be in a good hands and taken extra care of! After consultations I decided not to choose him for rhinoplasty!He also did not have before and after photos of any esthetic surgeriy done by him and he just laughed saying: why you need photos...would you like a doctor to show your photos to everyone!!!?I didn't feel like he had experience with that type of surgery so I decided to go somewhere else. Recently I decided to return to him for minor procedure-mole removal on my stomach that was suspicious.I wanted it to be done by a plastic surgeon,to look nice ,otherwise I could've had it done at any dermatologist office. I just can’t believe that he was not able to do such a small procedure to appear esthetically satisfying.He did a terrible job! Not to mention that later he informed me that He would like me to return as he would like to take some more tissue out!!!!! He has terrible judgment in terms of esthetic procedures and I would say that he is still experimenting . His work looks like third world country emergency ambulatory work!Very disturbing !!! I also do not think that he is a good person!!!!If you express even a small dose of unhappiness with his work you will get to see his real face!!!!Before that he would welcome you with a hugs and all chatty like you were his best friend or a family member! Very disappointing how some people can be so fake!Very disappointing to realize that you been so blind to choose the doctor that you think you can trust 100% with your health and you’ve been tricked! HE IS NOT A GOOD ESTETIC SURGEON!HE IS HORRIBLE ESTETIC SURGEON!And HE IS NOT A GOOD AND NOT A NICE PERSON!!!!!

My review got deleted somehow but I want to warn patients and parents like myself. Dr. Ciminello performed my son’s craniosynostosis surgery and my son developed a subdural hematoma which required a second surgery just 3 days later. This was due to either him or the neurosurgeon nicking the dura accidentally during the surgery. My son could’ve bled out and died. Then 6 months later Dr. Ciminello performed his cleft soft palate repair and botched it so badly it reopened. Not once did Dr. Ciminello acknowledge that it had reopened and I transferred my son’s care to NYU. Best decision I ever made was to switch to NYU.
