Due to an accident I had to have a rhinoplasty and septoplasty at a very young age (around fifth grade). As I got older and started to grow, my nose started to grow crooked. After many years of searching for a doctor that would do a revision rhinoplasty, I was lucky to have been recommended to Dr. Constantian. Dr. Constantian was extremely kind during the consultation and walked me through everything he thought he could do to make my nose be functional and cosmetically how I wanted it to be. I'm happy to say that my nose is perfectly straight and I've never been so happy and confident in how my nose turned out. I can't thank him enough for the dedication he put in to me and creating a better version of myself. I would definitely recommend Dr. Constantian to anyone looking for a revision rhinoplasty!

This doctor's work is awful and overrated. He has no sense of aesthetics. He left me with an overreduced, whittled down, flat from bottom to top, pinched nose. Pleae see my review on RS. He gave me a 1970's nose job. It is absolutely embarassing and ridiculous. Do not forget that Michael Jackson had all his surgeries closed. If you are a multiple revision patient be warned. You cannot fix your nose with a closed rhinoplasty,. This doctor will make you look UGLY. He also charged my insurance for crusing my turbinates which no doctor ever recommmended probably because he wanted to chare the insurance. Now my nose is dry and sore all the time. When I asked him what went wrong, he medically abandoned me. No matter how dow to earth he seems, he is one of the worst so-called famous doctors out there and he will make you look literally UGLY because he has no aesthetic whatsoever and he does not care. No matter how ugly and outdated he makes you look, he will say it is an improvement. That is his M.O. Not a good doctor. Stay far away ashe is money hungry and negligent.

Judging from my own experience these glowing reviews sound like they are written by his staff. The only thing he has a talent for is making you look god awful ugly. He stuffed so much rib in my nose with no regard to aesthetics. My nose stands out from my face in a harsh, pinnochio look . Please save your face! Its too late for me. I wish someone had warned me about him. Ir would of been life changing. Just shoving hastily carved rib graft pieces in your nose and hoping for the best is not a plan of a skilled surgeon, but that's exactly what Dr. C. does So if you want to be out 14,000.00+ dollars and break down in tears every time you have o look into a mirror (seriously) go for it. If your nose is complex due to multiple surgeries most reputable, ethical Dr.s will turn your case down for fear of making you worse. They believe in "do no harm" regardless of any financial gains. Dr. Constantian will turn NOBODY down. Not because he thinks he can help. Only because he cant resist the financial gain. I know what I'm talking about here. Another friend of me who is equally complex, Dr C. of course was very eager to take her case also but after talking to a few of his patients she ran for her life!! I helped her dodge that bullet. Update- Helen, the reviewer below mine, did not dodge that bullet after all. Oh well, another one bites the dust...

THIS MAN GAVE ME BACK MY FACE!...AND MY LIFE! HE IS A GENIUS....Let me tell you why...Nowadays, I am much more cautious and do my research before any procedure I am considering, but several years ago, I had opted to have my "big nose" fixed and went to a reputable doctor in Boston. The doctor who shall remain nameless conducted a standard rhinoplasty and actually did not do a bad job, however, my ignorance led me to believe that I would be achieving a "small nose". What I did not know was there are MANY FACTORS one must consider like for instance, your culture and skin type, your facial structure, age etc...I did not know what questions to ask but after my initial "nose job" a couple of years went by, and I was not only unhappy, but felt as though my face had totally changed. If you did not know what I looked like prior, you would think nothing was wrong, but there were days I could not even look in the mirror because the Nancy i knew was gone......so then began my journey to find a doctor who would give me back my face or as close as I could get to it...Many doctors actually turned me away, saying "leave well enough alone". One doctor said "I'm afraid that no matter what, you will not be happy". You see, I suffer from a condition called "Body Dysmorphic Disorder", a condition where one's perception of self is far different from how others view you...However, with treatment and years of understanding myself and this condition, I have come to a place of peace. I understand about this condition because not only did I receive treatment for it, but I am a Clinical Licensed Therapist who also treats patients with a variety of mental health conditions, therefore I know firsthand this is real! If so many turned me away, why didn't Dr. Constantian? he knew although I was looking to achieve my old look, he took the time to explain carefully what was realistic and unrealistic in what I was trying to achieve. If you are considering plastic surgery of any kind, DO YOUR RESEARCH! Doctors can only work with what is possible given your skin type, age, structure, etc... At the end of the day, he also did not turn me away, because he knew he COULD INDEED FIX MY FACE, and he did!...It has been approximately 6 years later, and I feel that with the knowledge I gained, and his vision and talent, I am a "new Nancy", or should I say "the old Nancy"!

At the age of 62, having spent 30 years as an Intensive Care Nurse, married to a doctor, I've had many interactions with the personalities in the health care arena. I found Dr. Constantian to be one of the special ones, a "jewel". Discussions concerning cosmetic surgery are sure to cause concern, however Dr. Constantian exudes an aura of confidence, knowledge, TLC (imagine that!) and besides which he is an artist! My sagging, droopy, spotted, dotted, in short abnormal nose, had sniffed out this soft-spoken, charismatic, charming physician, shoots from the hip, eliminating 2nd opinion ideas. Along with that, he's kinda cute too... The result has been nothing short of a miracle. Everything we spoke of regarding the specifics of "surgery", the recovery process, basically the whole package of a medical/surgical intervention, was achieved. I hold Dr. Constantian and his team, in the highest regard. His hands are steady ! He has a sense of humor. He addressed each element of my concerns, which is hardly status quo in today's world. Mostly I appreciate his gentle manner, his warmth, plus he instills a sense of hope. Thank you, Dr. Constantian, along with kudos for the "team"

This surgeon ruined my nose. Since he put so many grafts it it doesn't even resemble human anatomy anymore. He also is an awful person who misled me in believing he would correct things but he kept putting me off because he knew he had destroyed it to the point that it couldn't be fixed again. I wish I never fell for his clever talk, publications and fake reviews. He sent me down the path of no return. Beware! Dr Constantian recently authored a book being sold on amazon called " Childhood Abuse Body Shame and Addictive Plastic Surgery" I find it hard to believe he could even find a publisher to print such amateur garbage . Its no wonder he has to sell it on Amazon to get it distributed. Its glaringly obvious that he uses BDD as a pathetic excuse to rationalize why so many of his patients are unhappy with his nasal rib graft surgeries. If only he spent more time instead researching how to carve and place rib in noses rather than wasting his time trying to be a second rate, self- taught psychologist he at least would have tried to accomplish something valid in his life.

He makes you sign a piece of paper before the surgery with what you and he agreed on. Reassuring, right? Wrong. I emerged from the surgery and he did not do one of the most important things on that list. I asked him why when the bandages were removed. He said, "It can be done at just a small fraction of the price of the original surgery." His idea of "a small fraction?" One half. His surgeries cost more than many new cars. Does this seem fair to you? What's the point of signing that paper? False assurance. The patient must sign the pre-surgery document. The doctor fails to deliver, and well, too bad. Just have the patient come in for another dose of general anesthesia (with all the harm that entails--he thinks nothing of it), another two-week recovery period out of your life and work, etc.. It's all the same to him. He gets his money and you're literally out cold so you can't complain when he leaves you high and dry. As for results: horrible. I have never regretted anything so much, and I have never thought that an MD would be responsible for making me so unhappy when I look in the mirror, as I have since getting a revision rhinoplasty done by this hack. I had to duke it out with him (conversationally) to prevent him from turning me into a "wall nose" in profile: one of those plastic surgery victims whose nose slopes down continuously from their forehead without any little dip at the top under the brows. There's no gracious bridge contour. He has questionable taste in noses. Look at his own plastic surgery and you will know what he thinks is a good cosmetic result. Judge by that. Ignore his words; he will do the same to you as he did to me. Don't make the same mistake I did. Also: God complex alert: The worst part of him is his disagreeable personality. From day one he was irritable and unlike any physician, I've ever met. I have contacted his office asking what am I supposed to do about his grafts popping out of my bridge? His reply? He accused me of leaving negative reviews of him "based on falsehoods" all over the net, when I have done no such thing. I ask you (and Dr. Constantian, since you are vain enough to be reading this): If my alleged reviews are supposedly based on falsehoods, then how on earth could anyone recognize them as being mine? I don't use my name. I see lots of unhappy patients of yours who have left negative reviews over the years. Answer: Logic's not your strong suit. Stick to the scalpel. Everyone else: Please, think this one through. The people who leave positive reviews are the same people you see around with very bad hairstyles or wearing very unflattering clothes, etc.. -- they have poor taste, had low expectations, and/or don't know better. I've seen four of the best rhinoplasty surgeons in N. America, two were teaching heads at ivy league universities. Dr. Constantian is nowhere in their league. He should be doing all revisions using open surgery. He is a disagreeable, rude individual. It was the first time I went to someone based on positive reviews online, and I would never recommend that anyone do the same. He received his training forty years ago and is stuck in a rut. If you want to have a nose that looks like a pig's snout--a blob with two holes in it, with no exquisite sculpture in the tip if that's what you had, no elegant or personalized slope or even convexity in the bridge, then he's your surgeon. I believe he does them closed because he gives the same snout-nose to everyone, man or woman, delicate features or strong. PASS! NB: These are my personal opinions to which I am very, very much entitled since I live with his monstrosity on my face and the memories of dealing with a clown instead of a nice, professional, competent surgeon, every day. There have been two new generations of gifted surgeons since Dr. C's heyday, using new techniques. Go to one of them. Constantian will give you a 3" scar where he harvests your rib, stick bits of it in pockets to rebuild your nasal frame, and then ignore you or accuse you of writing negative reviews after they slide out of place. PASS.

Dr. Constantian and his team are the most wonderful and caring people I've ever met. Constantian himself was the last person I saw before my surgery and the first person I saw upon waking up. He and his team answered all of my questions in depth and were quick to reassure me if I had any doubts about anything regarding the process itself, how to pay for it, etc. Dr. Constantian is a fantastic surgeon, and is very passionate about his practice. I am more than thrilled with my results!

Dr. Constantian performed reconstructive surgery on my nose which had been disfigured in an auto accident some years ago. Reconstructive surgery required the use of cartilage from other areas and a significant amount of surgery time. It's been seven months now since surgery and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Incredible job!

Dr. Constantian completely fixed the horrible nose job that I had previously went through. I had a deviated septum where the previous doctor destroyed all the cartilage in my nose. Dr. Constantian knew I was extremely hesitant to go through the surgery again, but he reassured me constantly and made sure I was comfortable before going into surgery. Not only did he fix my deviated septum but was able to complete reconstructive plastic surgery on my nose and made it look incredible. I highly recommend him and cannot thank him enough!

Finding Dr. Constantian to help me through extensive reconstruction of my nose after removal of cancer certainly proved to be very good fortune, indeed. Because of the degree of tissue removed, I required a rebuild of the nose involving a living graft, a forehead flap reconstruction....a series of surgeries over many weeks. Dr. Constantian gave me the straight story from the beginning, gave me all the tools to make informed decisions and he helped me find my courage to go through all the phases. Dr. Constantian has an approach that's always professional, but at the same time he's warm, human, encouraging and kind. My results are exceptional. I have a nose! When I first appeared at Dr. Constantian's office I had a deep cavern in the middle of my face! The first time I saw what is called "the deficit" that the cancer surgeon had left for Dr. Constantian to repair, I was in his office. He dealt with my utter shock and dismay. Through out this demanding period I always felt supported, cared for, and safe with Dr. Constantian. In addition to technical skill and an aesthetic sense, this doctor brings real heart to his practice. His nurse, Donna rounds out the team. Both of these people literally held my hand. My husband was warmly welcomed in to all discussions and office visits. Consult this gentleman if you need a plastic surgeon. He helped to restore me to health and made me whole so I could return to my life with confidence. I will not forget his very real contributions.

Dr Constantian and his staff were excellent!! Everyone was friendly, professional, with a great bedside manner. This was important to me as I was extremely nervous to go into surgery again. Dr Constantian fixed my botched nose job from 15 years ago. At the time my nose was still deviated with uneven nostrils and cartilage on the sides. Almost 2 years later now I can say I'm thrilled with my new nose. Its straight, symmetrical with a refined tip! Exactly the results I was hoping for. He really listened to all of my concerns and goals for the surgery. And the best part of all....I can finally breath out of both nostrils. I just wished I had done this sooner!

If you are considering rhinoplasty and are searching for the best doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Constantian. He was referred to me by a plastic surgeon 10 years ago that said for my difficult case, Dr. Constantian would be the best plastic surgeon in the U.S.. This was after I visited three plastic surgeons that would not take my case. I was born without nasal cartilage, and through the years, I had six surgeries to correct the problem. Each time, the plastic or bone slipped and my nose was wide and crooked. During my first visit, Dr. Constantian explained that he would use my rib bone, as he needed more to work with than my ear cartilage would provide. It would be an improvement, but I would most likely need a second surgery to increase the tip and narrow my nostrils. He said there was a possibility that the rib could curl or slip after a while. That was ten years ago and over time, my nose again looked crooked with a bump. I returned to Dr. Constantian to ask what he could do to fix my nose. He explained that he would decide at the time of surgery if he needed more rib or could use ear cartilage. I totally trusted his skill and judgement. Dr. Constantian reshaped the original rib bone and inserted cartilage from my ear. Now my nose is straight with narrow nostrils, a nice tip, looks symmetrical, and I can breath well through my nose. It now looks normal! I am thrilled to recommend Dr. Constantian and his staff. They treated me with professionalism and respect; like a friend. I also appreciate that he does his operations in a hospital. Dr. Constantian is a well-respected, skilled, dedicated, seriously brilliant plastic surgeon.

Dr. Constantian is an extremely skilled surgeon who stands out as one of the most honest and transparent doctors in his field. Dr. C and his staff are always compassionate, consistently going above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and secure. I suffered a lot of damage from a past open rhinoplasty and Dr. C was able to make a huge difference after just 1 surgery. The below negative reviews are really hard for me to believe - he's always been very respectful and kind to me - I come out of every appointment feeling like I have a whole other family who's looking out for me. I think he sees a lot of severe cases from people who've been through hell and have been burned by doctors whom they trusted and there's only so much that can be done, however, if you're considering having this surgery done, Dr. C is your safest and smartest choice.
