I asked Billing for the cost of a short cast and they refused to provide me with the amount they would bill for it. I suggested that transparency of prices would allow patients to be more aware and if they are asking for it, you should want to provide it, but the Billing department refused. This is why healthcare costs are high and rising.

I saw Dr. Tom Ferlic for a cyst on my finger joint and he has injected this area twice in the past several years with a steroid. He is an excellent physician and he also has excellent staff as well! I would highly recommend this office to anyone! Thanks again!

These guys are horrible. Asked for a second opinion and they refused! 2 doctors! Wow...how bad do you have to be to close a door on a new patient. And to top that off, they tried to charge me to get MY xrays and records back that I gave them from my first doctor. Not too worried, after reading the other bad review on this site..im kinda glad i didn't become another limp victim with these hacks. Thanks OrthoWest for saving me time and headaches.

I have had a number of ortho issues and OrthoNebraska has always been excellent. My latest appt on July 19 exceeded my request. They fit me in a full schedule due to my situation and addressed a referral issue that I have been dealing with from a different hospital. Dr. Michael Thompson, Amanda, and Jamie are all professional, friendly, and knowledgeable! I would recommend OrthoNebraska every time!

Referred to a second doctor after young first doctor thought a more experienced doctor would better help... One doctor bill and xrays. Second doctor was at least double booked (I got called in 60 seconds after another individual) and acted rushed, had vague opinions and no time for me to think and converse and evaluate options (which are serious, life affecting, and therefore important to me). I am now paying off second doctor visit bill no better piece of mind for it, no help learning more about my options and issues towards a surgical remedy or living with my situation and how I might gain/loose ability over time. Phone tag with nurse after asking to please arrange a time to speak and no attempt to arrange a time was made after a couple requests. Classic doctor overbooking, profit maximizing, patient minimizing.

They are the worse I seen so far. Had an operation on my elbow and it still the same as it was before. Had lots of doctor visit at 50 dollars each time saw the doctor for 30 seconds just to have him say come back in 2 weeks everytime.

Right knee was replaced in September, No therapy, one follow up visit to remove staples. Nothing further until I had issues with the knee. They did not use bone cement, which has caused the lower prosthesis to shift. Now I am getting s serious run around. SEE YOU IN COURT!!!

Front office receptionist was completely rude and lacked customer-service skills completely. They also make you pay for your services BEFORE you get seen which I think is ridiculous. I will never go back there nor recommend anyone for their services. I sat and watched people before me getting treated like crap and I couldn't stand it anymore and just left. I should have researched the place first. I did find another office and it was night and day. Go somewhere else. I gave an additional star since the actual staff seemed professional enough.

I had hip replacement May 2 2019, couldn’t have gone better. When I came out of surgery the discomfort level , or soreness level was maybe a 2 or 3. Before it was a 7 or be better PAIN level. In two weeks I went back to have the staples removed , I walked in with just my cane, I wasn’t using the walker anymore.I was swimming 4 weeks after , hard swimming ,and riding my bike after 5 weeks. I do all kinds of exercises myself, no PT . I’m 75 . It’s been 8 weeks now and for the last 4 weeks I honestly couldn’t tell which hip I had replaced. Originally I was concerned about the posterior approach, on the net they say not as fast healing, 70% world wide is posterior. I honestly feel so blessed to have had a good surgeon Dr. CRAIG HANSEN . I didn’t think I would ever be able to walk normal again . Also all the staff and nurses were exceptional . If I could rate ORTHO NEBRASKA higher I would ,and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Dr Kumagai does great but his office scheduling is terrible...we waited 2 hours for appointment on the west Dodge location and then the next time my husband needed to see him we needed to go to Fremont NE due to our schedule. We got there at 10.20 for a 10:40 appt and at 11:45 he was still waiting and hasn't even had the X-rays yet. We left and will have to reschedule sometime when we have 3 hours to spend at a doctors office

I have meet With Dr. Burt twice for my knees at Orthowest. He took the time time to make a proper diagnosis, where others in the past had seemed to make general diagnosis , not really looking deeper to solve the issue. Dr. Burt is a straight shooter, and me me feel good about my recovery options. I would highly recommend him. The front office is extremely focused on getting patients in, and can make one feel a little less than welcomed However they are professional and get you in and out as quick as possible. Overall: Great place I will go back.

Scheduled my first and only appointment. Was instructed to arrive half an hour early (which I did). I was still sitting in the waiting room one hour after my appointment time. In this day and age, the patient has the power to CHOOSE which clinic they use. Patients are the CLIENT and poor customer service is not acceptable. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I fell on Jan 9th and went to urgent care on Jan 10th. They told me to go to ortho as i possibly cracked my scaphoid. I went to ortho nebraska because that is where my family goes. I was put in a splint for a week, follow up xrays and a ct later I was told there was nothing wrong. Only thing is I was still in excruciating pain and unable to grip and hold anything with my left hand. I ended up going to a different ortho dr for a second opinion and it turnsout that i tore a ligament in my thumb that required surgery. I had surgery march 7th and will now be out of work until June. I feel like my pain and injury was completely overlooked and i was made out to be a crazy person. I WILL not be going back to ortho nebraska for my ortho needs.

Had an x-ray taken to evaluate my thumb. I paid the full amount at the time of the appointment ($250). More than a month later I received a bill for $6.22? They listed it had an insurance adjustment even though I don't have health insurance. Seems like something sketchy is going on with their billing department. Insurance fraud perhaps?

Not a fan. I have horrible knees and that can be verified by my xrays. I also had a tibial plateau fracture about two years ago which Dr. Hagen treated me for... Hagen also recommended a knee replacement for me last time I was seen. I recently had some physical training for my employer in which I needed a note so I called to secure the item. They refused to give me one unless I paid the doctor for another appointment. I guess from their perspective my knees must have miraculously regenerated over the last two years. Basically they treat you like a herd animal and there is zero service after the sale. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

My mom (in her 70s) went for the severe pain & tingling in her arm. They treated her like cattle!! She's in more pain since having the surgery they conned her into getting and are nothing but dismissive of her post-surgical complaints. Do NOT go to this butcher shop. If anyone is considering a class action against these quacks, we're in!!
