I consulted with a few local surgeons. I left the first two thinking "maybe I don't want to do this" - mostly because they were encouraging me to get larger implants than i thought i wanted so i could save on the lift cost... i had started all conversations saying "I don't want to be much larger - I had large breasts before I had kids and I didn't like the way it made me feel." Still, the other two surgeons didn't listen to me. PLUS, I've had a ton of back issues, have large scarring and neither of them even brought it up. Dr. Gurley spend AN HOUR with me personally on my first consult, mostly because of my back and wanting to make sure not only i came out with exactly what i WANTED but also that it was going to be a good fit for my whole body, including back pain. I even went back for a second consult because SHE wanted to make sure she understood me. It can be very difficult for someone outside of this industry to even verbalize what I wanted...and she was INCREDIBLE about figuring it out and TRULY CARING. I CANNOT say enough amazing things about Dr. Gurley, her entire staff, the surgery staff, the compliments everyone I met through the process gave Dr. Gurley... JUST PERFECT. I am 100% THRILLED with the results, feel amazing, actually have less back pain because of the changes. I also loved that your garments are included in the cost because she wants you to have the appropriate support post-surgery. ALSO, follow up appointments thereafter to make sure everything is perfect. You would think that is a given, but it's NOT. I spoke with friends who had similar surgeries who didn't see their surgeons for 2 weeks post surgery. I saw Dr. Gurley or her staff 3x in the first two weeks. Not only to make sure everything was healing correctly, but also from an emotional perspective because any cosmetic surgery is an emotional roller coaster and they honestly cared about how you were feeling. OBSESSED WITH THE ENTIRE PROCESS.

I am 22 years old and decided about a year ago that I was going to get a breast reduction. I searched for surgeons for months and found Dr. Gurley through a physician recommendation. My consultation with Dr. Gurley was amazing, and I called a few hours later to schedule the surgery as soon as they could do it. I ended up having to reschedule my surgery for a month later for some personal reasons, but Dr. Gurley and her staff were so patient with me and scheduled the surgery for Aug. 2nd 2019. At my pre-op appointment I asked if Dr. Gurley would be able to do some extra liposuction on my upper abdomen. She did not try to persuade me to add more procedures or anything, I just got to thinking that since I would already be under I might as well! This was my first surgery so I was pretty nervous, but it could not have gone smoother. I was in very little to no pain- only a little stiff/uncomfortable from the liposuction. This only lasted for two days maybe. I took Valium the day of the surgery and one day after in the evening before I fell asleep. After that I took ibuprofen maybe once- other than that I was in no pain. I could tell a difference almost immediately. I originally was a 36 H in the right breast and 36 G in the left. I am now a 36D/38C and I could not be happier. This has truly changed my life and I know I did the right thing for myself. I had absolutely no self confidence before, but now I am excited to wear clothes that I could never wear before! I wish I did this 4 years ago!! Jessica does my post-op appointments and she is AMAZING! I feel like I can call or email her with any questions. She understands even the silliest concerns or questions I have, and I have had no problems with post-op care. I am 6 weeks post-op and feeling amazing. You do have to be patient for swelling to go down, but I was not as swollen as I expected. I remember reading reviews on Dr. Gurley before I got the surgery. I read one that said something to the affect of "Dr. Gurley is an artist and you would be foolish to not choose her as your surgeon." It really put me at ease before the surgery and I can tell you now- IT'S TRUE. She honestly wants the best for you and knows how something like this can absolutely change your life. I cannot express how thankful I am.

I'm forever grateful to have found Dr. Gurley. She has done many different procedures to me over the 9 years I've been seeing her. What I love most about her, is that she cares about the end result just as much as you. She's not going to pressure you into anything you don't need, or allow you to over-do yourself. I think because of Hollywood, there is a lot misconception as to what you're doing to your body. There are many doctors that only see you as a $ sign, and don't care about how you're going to look. Dr. Gurley cares about her reputation, and will not allow you to do anything that is going to make you look fake or overdone. She is a true artist with her work on your body. The results for me personally, have been nothing short of amazing. I've had a breast reduction & lift... I went from about a size H cup to D cup. This was life-changing for me. No more flabby sagging breasts! Being able to buy a pretty, normal-sized bra from V.S instead of a big ugly one, no more straps digging into my shoulders, no more chaffing/rashes, no more back aches, being able to wear a cute swimsuit without worrying about looking inappropriate, being able to buy any cute top or dress, and no more people staring at my chest! It's really given me a whole new confidence boost, and finally, my breasts don't consume my daily life. Body liposuction performed with my breast reduction.... Thigh gap finally! Muffin-top gone! A little bit under my chin, got rid of fat that would never go away regardless of losing weight. No more back fat bulging around my bra. Smooth body silhouette without having to wear spanx to hold me in, and hide the bulges. Botox in my face.... Literally has made me look at least 10 years younger. All the forehead lines, crows feet, little wrinkles all over have disappeared! No more sagging lids/eyebrows. I always worried that my eyebrows would rise up too far, and people would know, but it's like muscle memory-everything is remembering where it used to be : ) And, Dr. Gurley performs this every time, not an assistant, which has proven to give me very consistent results. Rejuvederm fillers in my face and lips... No more thin, barely-there lips! My top lip was basically non-existent. Once I had the fillers put in, they became fuller, and completely natural looking. It has added so much to my smile. Having a thin top lip, made me look older. I never thought I'd enjoy buying and applying lipstick & gloss as much as I do now! In-office facial liposuction.... Yes, you are completely awake and no anesthesia. No more sagging jowel skin, and the incisions are so tiny, that there isn't a trace of scarring. Dr. Gurley has a complete line of her own skin products, and makeup. Everything I've tried has been awesome. She is very helpful and informative about skin-care. I've had a facial in her spa, and the aloe mask was my favorite so far. You don't want to shop around for the best price when it comes to plastic surgery, ever. You need to research the doctor and results. You may find a doctor that will do it for less, but I can personally attest that I've never seen anyone with a better-looking breast reduction. : )
