Visited this place today as a friend suggested for a consult and they left me sitting in a cold room in nothing but a paper gown for almost an hour. I never got to see the doctor I left. On top of that they claim to do fat transfer but only had one pic to show me. After that wait I decided to find some place more professional that will appreciate my time and money. I went to Dr.Reisin for lipo+bbl. He and his staff made me feel very comfortable and confident with his work. I am not 6 months post-op and I look and feel great. I have dropped from a size 10-12 to a size 6-8. I got lipo in my double chin, arms, back,flanks, stomach, and thighs. I also got fat transfer to my buttocks ( best decision I made). My body looks so shaped and sculpted, my butt is so round and naturally fuller. I am glad that I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Reisin.

I’ll start off by saying that I went in to the consultation nervous and a little scared, however after meeting with Dr. Reisin I knew right away that I didn’t need to look any further. He was very confident and reassuring that he was going to give me the results I was looking for. He was also very patient and addressed all my questions and concerns. Through the whole process from the consultation to my post operation appointment, the entire staff was so amazing! They went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable. It has been a month since my liposuction surgery and even though I am not fully healed, I cannot be more happy with the results so far. I think that most of the people who wrote these reviews came from the office and are NOT patients!! My experience was horrible. One lady I had who posed as a doctor didn't do her research and fed false information to me. I clearly knew more than she did and I'm not sure that what they are doing is even legal. Their number 1 goal is money and they do not care for your health. None of my vitals were taken, my medical history wasn't looked at, my body wasn't looked at either and I was told I was a perfect Candidate!! Also boob jobs do not cost 8,000 anymore- definitively in Michigan where doctors next store are doing it for Under 4,000!!!!! Before you see a REAL doctor they want you to pay at least 500 dollars that's not refundable. And they want it all payed for 2week before the procedure. They are very sketchy. I was there for a consultation and we talk about how i will pay for 99% of the whole time. Then she told me not to come back unless my boyfriend was going to be there with 500 dollars (I didn't even mention i had a boyfriend by the way). There was one time we talk about the actual procedure and all they told me was that they are certified, they do it in a hospital, and there are two kinds of implants. That was 3mins MAX. She later disapproved me because I knew more than they wanted-She says i was too young (yeah right! not some 16 or 17year) (I know 18 and 21yearr old with them). I just got an email asking to schedule an appointment and that they are looking forward to seeing me again. Thats not going to happen. And ALL the good reviews BEFORE Feb1 is a perfect 5 start rating with many of the 'doctor's ' users/names

My experience with Star was warm and inviting from the beginning. All of the staff made things easy and smooth. Dr. Ozolins whole demeanor made me feel I could trust her and she wasn't just trying to convince me to have surgery she was informative and allowed me to make my own decision without feeling hassled or hustled. I scheduled an appointment for a consultation and to talk to doctor to discuss my surgery, after waiting 40 minuets I was called by the secretary to go over the information on my 4 page personal and medical history , then she told me she is going to get specialist doctor elan and I told her I just saw him a few minuets ago in the lobby , 5 minuets later she came back and told me the doctor is in surgery and she is gonna have a lady take a few pictures in regards to my surgery to discuss them with the doctor and then she would call me back to let me know how long the surgery is gonna be and the cost of it without discussing my surgery with the doctor?? How do you expect me to make a decision on a surgery without knowing what the out comes are??? That gave me a big pause to this behavior.

I went to Dr. Reisin 4 weeks ago to have my botched tummy repaired. He did an amazing job! I loved his confidence when I met him during the consultation. He knew exactly how to help me. The day of surgery I was soooo impressed with the surgical suite and the care from the nurses and anesthesiologists. I stayed in a nearby hotel and walked to my follow up appointment the next day. He put me in spanx a day after surgery and 4 weeks later I only have to wear them at night. In 2 weeks I won't need them at all! I wanted a great local surgeon who would be near during my healing process. He answered any questions I had and reassured me about my swelling. I'm very happy with the results and know that it will continue to get better. Not only am I also down 5.5 lbs, whatever he did fixed a gastrointestinal problem I was having since my original surgery with another surgeon 2 years ago. Cost: expensive, but they have 3 financing options. Don't try to cut corners on your plastic surgeon. You want the best and it will cost you.

I had a tummy tuck and liposuction in August. Dr. Reisen performed my surgery. The results are amazing and my scar healed perfectly and I believe that it will be nearly invisible once completely healed. I was able to reach him via text whenever I had a question or concern and he always answered quickly. The office staff and nurses are all so friendly and helpful. I got my breast augmentation January 2018 by dr raisen for around $5,600 he recommended 365cc although the sales consultant recommended I get 300-325cc but I went the the surgeon recommendation because I felt he knew best worst mistake! I feel they are to big for my body and to top it off a Capsule contraction Formed on one of my breast 6 months after getting them done he says it’s another 2,200 to fix just the one side. So that about 7,900 for a breast job I hate smh I should have did better research . Or they could have worked with me on the pricing

MY EYES LOOK YOUNGER !! Thank you Dr. Reisin !! I feel happier and more self- confident knowing my eyes look younger. I was apprehensive and felt nervous about keeping my Consultation appointment. After a few minutes of speaking to Delores, the coordinator at the beginning of my consult, I felt so relaxed. Everyone at the office was extremely nice. Dr Resin was very pleasant and easy to talk to. After listening to me, he was very sympathetic to my concerns and made suggestions. After all my questions were answered I agreed to a Bilateral Upper Lid Blepharoplasty, Bilateral Canthopexy and an Endoscopic Browlift. My procedure at the hospital went very well. I am very pleased with the entire staff I met who worked with Dr. Reisin during my surgery. Before and after my surgery, Dr Reisin instructed me to call him on his cell, any time of the day, if I had any questions or concerns. I had one question after surgery, which he responded back to me within 10 mins. My incisions are healing nicely. I am extremely pleased with Dr Reisin. When it came to the question of price they automatically assumed I didn't have the money and explained how they had a patient who made payments for two years until she could afford her procedure. I went for a second opinion in the doctor could not even tell that I had muscle repair done :( they also told me one price & then after I paid for it they told me I had to pay more because the company charges them more very I am very disappointed with everything

Love Dr Ellen Ozolins, she did an amazing job and such a sweet lady, gave me reassurance everything is going to be fine and look good. I got a mommy makeover (tummy tuck, muscle repair, breast lift, breast augmentation and liposuction) will definitely recommend her to anyone. The receptionist/front desk people on the other hand can be rude and cut you off while talking and feels like they aren't listening to you. Nurse Kristen is a great nurse and returns phone call as soon as possible and feels like she truly listens and cares.

I am not sure why they named the practice "Star" Plastic Surgery, unless it's because hey make you feel like a celebrity! I waited until I was 70 have a facelift. I had interviewed many surgeons over the years but never felt the trust that you must have in your doctor and his ataff to take that leap until going to Star. Star's pricing was incredibly affordable compated to other surgeons and when I was having trouble securing financing, (nevessary since I am on fixed retirement income) my counselor with Star, Tanya, jumped pn the phone and found me a hreat loan within five minutes! The result on my procedure was beyond my wildest expectations! I like looking in the mirror again and seeing the person I used to know. I am me again thanks to Star. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I am very disappointed overall. I got a breast lift and removal and replace with silicone implants. The implants are larger than we discussed. I was very firm that I didn't want to go larger. Also there is loose skin and horrible scars. My husband won't touch them. The right breast is pulling and hurting as well. I told the doctor all my concerns and he was not eager to fix them without me paying more money!!!!

Ok so had a appoinment set up for today at 10am was on my way ended up having a car hit me due to the weather and missed my appointment had a text message sent to me that was very nasty and very rude and unprofessional moments later I received a phone call I ignored it because police were there for the car accident and we're trying to get a report so I did not take the call I then had a voicemail left that was even worse than the text message it was completely unprofessional nasty as ever telling me how immature I was & how I was waist of there time I was left speechless of how they treat their potential clients I would never give this business a time of day or reschedule an appointment with them it was no wonder they had so many horrible reviews on their conduct & service thank God I found a different doctor that took me in the same day for a consult. I wish I could attach the voice mail on here so you all could hear it.

I had a lift with implants and thigh lift doneover 10 years ago with another doctor. My scares were ok. I needed to have the samethings done again so I saw Dr. Elan Reisin, M.D. FACS. The staff were so nice and the Doctor was very informative. They all made me so comfortable so I went with them and glad that I did. Not even 2 months out you can barely see my scares and the results look awesome even though I still have where they'll get better over the next few months. If I could give it 0 stars I would. My girlfriend had a 360 body lift and breast lift. The results are less than impressive! Uneven from left side to right side. Scars are horrid. There were supposed to be 2 surgeons due to the complexity of the surgeries but one of them was on vacation during her scheduled appointment so it was rushed . I would suggest to look elsewhere for any cosmetic surgery!

Had my breast augmentation done by Dr. Reisin three months ago and I could not be happier with my results. He was amazing to work with, as was the whole staff of STAR. My recovery was easy with no bruising, and amazing looking results after such a short amount of time. Sandra was my contact before surgery and she was so lovely, she mailed a cute little personally written card to me shortly after my initial consult and it really solidified my choice in surgeons. After checking out a few plastic surgery locations I decided on Star because of thier board certified staff and level of knowledge and professionalism. Valerie was a great way to start off my initial visit, she was so friendly and bubbly and really made me feel comfortable. Dr. Lamie was great and gave me several different options after discussing all my wants and left the choice to me to decide on procedures, procedures were not pushed on me. I am very staisfied with the procedure and the treatment I recieved and would highly recommend them to friends and family.

One of my old friends went here now she messed up until she goes to another surgeon to fix what star messed up her tummy tuck have the nastiest scar I ever seen look like she had triplets through c section not to mention they liposuction her arms looks like it was never done then last but not least the most noticeable is her flanks they hang out so much she still have to wear her stomach garment to hide them smh please do not waste your money on star cuz she wasted a complete bit of money they never offered to fix the problem after she spent 13,000 on a tummy tuck and liposuction they are a rip off I know surgeons that does a way better job and not even that expensive

Not only did I love all the staff at Star, from the sweet ladies at the front desk, to my consultant Valerie who I call the cheerleader in the office, my awesome attentive very helpful nurse Christine, to my wonderful amazing Doctor, Dr. Vyas, I want everyone to know they have changed my life! I've always hated looking in the mirror at myself but thanks to Dr. Vyas, that's changed, he's made me a new woman! I've never had confidence until now. Love Dr. Resin and staff, one month post op. My result are coming along fantastic. I read reviews, had consultant with other doctors, Dr. Resin and staff made me feel comfortable and that most important your body is in his hands. Tummy tuck, liposuction too axillary, flanks, breast lift no implants. Should have done it a long time ago.

Drove over an hour for a consultation and was told the doctor was on vacation once I arrived. Very unprofessional. I should have been informed about this prior to the appointment in order to reschedule. For the prices they ask, I can’t justify such an inconvenience for something so simple. Tonya was nice, helpful and very professional. She did what she could. Otherwise, my time was completely wasted. Disappointed.

What should have been a seemless tummy tuck procedure and a 3 week recovery time turned into a 4 month nightmare of different Emergency rooms followed by a serious infection that almost claimed my Mother's life. Although notified, Star Plastic's doctors did nothing and did not follow up with my mom. In fact, they distanced themselves and did not return any of our phone calls. Thank god for Henry Ford hospital system they ended up draining 2lbs of fluid from my mom and cutting out the infected areas. Although, we are very grateful thanks to Henry Ford hospital, my mother now suffers from severe trauma and has to see her therapist weekly. Please do not visit this clinic. My mother is lucky to even be alive.

Please do your research before coming here. Great looking facility and the people appear to be nice and care UNTIL you pay your money n have the surgery. I had my drain less tt in Jan 2018 with Dr. Rasin. The very next day I had a staph infection in which I spent 5 days at Henry Ford hospital. That came up to5 k. The surgery itself was close to 11k for a tummy tuck Mr and lipo to lower flanks. I adamantly expressed to Delores and the Dr i wanted a flat stomach and didn't want a fat BK. Delores pursuaded me to get my upper flanks done as well n stated it would help me not HV a fat back. So I took out additional loan money for that as I really wanted a flat stomach n nice BK to match. 8 months and a staph infection later the top of my stomach sticks out while bottom of my stomach is flat ( and i hv lost weight not gained).my sides are still fat as before but now I HV big dents in them that look like a deformity. My back has the same amount of rolls and all in all the job is EXTREMELY POOR. Contray to him stating he has been doing this for years

The staff and doctor were very nice and made the process very comfortable. I like my nose better than before, however, I am still unhappy with the results. Dr. Reisin said he would be able to fix my nose without fixing my deviated septum (since I was having no breathing issues - just cosmetic purposes). I think this was poor guidance. My nose is still large at the tip and still has a bump on the bridge. This is after two surgeries. My nose runs a lot more than before I had the surgeries too. Overall, I probably would've gone to another doctor.
