I had the privilege to be in the care of Dr. Tanzman. First, let me elaborate a little on the terrible experience I had several years ago with another plastic surgeon; This will really put into prospective the professionalism and caring of Dr. Tanzman and the Chau Plastic Surgery office… A couple of years after having breast implants, I started experiencing muscle pains on right shoulder and back. I went thru different physical therapies, ultrasounds, MRI’s and injections to ease the pain, but nothing was helping. I then went back to the plastic surgeon, which ordered an MRI of the chest. During the follow up visit to find out about the MRI’s results (images were never shown to me), I was told that there wasn’t anything abnormal, that my pain was not related to the breast implants, but he was going to consult with peers and get back to me. Needless to say, that never happened and I continued to have the same issues. My orthopedic doctor then referred me to Dr. Tanzman. At my first visit to Chau Plastic, Dr. Tanzman took the time to show me the images of the MRI and explained to me, in detail, the apparent encapsulation and displacement of the implants underneath the muscles. The transparency, caring approach and professionalism of Dr. Tanzman made me feel comfortable enough to undergo a second surgery and I’m glad I did. The experience that I now have with the Chau Plastic Surgery office, has been nothing but positive and encouraging; from Dr. Tanzman to the ladies at the front desk, that have always been friendly and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Tanzman and Chau Plastic Surgery, to anyone looking to undergo these types of surgeries. There is nothing like feeling like you are in good hands and seeing the excellent results. Thank you Dr. Tanzman and to the Chau Plastic Surgery staff

We are so happy that Dr. Tanzman is our plastic surgeon. My elderly mother was in an accident that caused significant damage to the soft tissue on her shin. We were working with a general surgeon. Unfortunately, after two weeks, her wound did not get better and we were referred to Dr. Tanzman. The office managed to arrange an appointment for her in less than two business days even though his partner was on vacation and they were booked up. We arrived at his office anxious and unaware of what would happen next. Once we arrived, Dr. Tanzman assessed the wound and explained exactly how the procedure works in a way that we could understand. He gave us a realistic idea of how long this would take to heal and the steps that we may go through. He put our minds at ease. My mother just had her follow up appointment to the surgery. There were 4 people observing, Dr. Tanzman, Ashley, his nurse, an intern and a company representative from Cytal Wound Matrix. Mom felt like an important person because they all wanted to see how she is doing. She is healing beautifully. She still has several weeks to go before her wound is completely healed. I am confident that Mom will heal well because of the excellent care she receives from Dr. Tanzman.
