Absolute wonderful experience! The issue I presented to Dr. Sean Doherty was gynecomastia. From my early teens through my entire adult life I found myself hiding this problem to such an extent it affected every aspect of my life. I had done research on gynecomastia for years and I was under the assumption it would basically go away if I lost weight and worked out more. Not the case!! Finally, in my late 40's I was able to save enough money to have the issue addressed. I met with Dr. Doherty in his Brookline, Ma. office expecting him to tell me he couldn't help me until I lost some crazy amount of weight. To my surprise he told me I was a good candidate for surgery to finally get rid of this albatross. Dr. Doherty was extremely professional and instantly made me feel comfortable during our meeting. My surgery was scheduled for the middle of July 2018. I just had my 3 month check up and I am so pleased with the outcome words will not do it justice. My case was a fairly severe case and I was very worried how the anatomy would look after the operation. I can tell you it's awesome! I never had any issues post op and if I had encountered any Dr. Doherty gave me his cell phone number and told me to call, text any concerns I had. Please if you have the same issue and have been putting off talking to a surgeon stop procrastinating and call Dr. Sean Doherty! Every person I encountered in his office was incredibly nice and willing to answer all questions. This is the best money I've ever spent on myself.

Dr. Doherty is AMAZING! Honestly! I met a pharmaceutical rep a few years ago and she told me the only person she would let inject her or anything else regarding plastic surgery is Dr. Sean Doherty. I looked at her and I couldn't believe anyone had done anything to her face. Completely natural and looked 10 years younger! (She had volunteered her age.) She is now in California and yes... comes back to see him. I immediately set up a consultation appointment and I feel the same way she does. From Botox to fillers to threads! Dr. Doherty is amazing - I would give him more than five stars if I could. I have been seeing him for several years now for filler, Botox and more recently, a fraxel laser treatment and am honestly always so happy with the results. So much so that I recently move to LA and have already been back to see him...I just don’t trust anyone else with my face. He and his staff are also very kind and caring, which matters to me. I feel safe and taken care of. If in the future I decide to go liposuction/cool sculpt way, I will definitely go with Dr Doherty.

I've been a patient of Dr. Doherty for a little over 3 months. I had debated getting dermal fillers and PDL threads to improve the appearance as I looked older than I was I felt how I looked, drained, tired and had lost volume in my face. For 20 years I've worked as a first responder and that did a number on my body and my face, under eyes etc. I decided to have some laser skin treatment to start. This was outstanding then facial threads to help define my jaw line and get ride of my sagging skin. Dr Doherty injected some filler under my eyes and cheeks. This instantly changed my appearance to a younger appearance and boosted my self esteem. I decided to be treated by Dr. Sean Doherty because he was conservative and very honest there was no pressure like I felt before I found him. The other two doctors I saw im sure have there qualities but lacked the human component this doc has. He explained everything to me in detail but was very compassionate and sensitive by listening what's bothering me. He took pictures and ensured I had realistic expectation and we agreed on a plan. Honestly after everything was done I felt and looked like I was 25 again. When you look better you feel better. I plan on being a patient of Dr. Doherty for years to come. Lastly I have to give a plug to his admin staff, nurse and medical assistant's. Everyone was so patient centered, skilled and welcoming . This is a top flight office on Newbury St and a location in Brookline to go to for a variety of cosmetic needs. No matter who you are or what you do if you feel like you want to improve your appearance this is the man to see!! I am honored to write this review. John

Dr Doherty changed my life! Dr. Doherty recently performed a breast reduction and I wouldn't trust any other doctor. From the moment I stepped into his office for my first consultation to now, Dr. Doherty has exhibited nothing but honesty and compassion and is a true artist! I lived my entire life hating my large breasts, buying bra’s , tops and bathing suits was a nightmare! Now, I wake up everyday with happy with my breast size and feel so much more comfortable. Dr. Doherty is amazing!!! I literally can not say enough positive things about him. I have been going to him for the past 3 years for my botox and fillers. I will have to say at first I was super nervous about having any facial procedures done but Dr. Doherty immediately calmed my fears. He is a skilled master. Words cannot express how pleased I am with my Liposuction procedure with Dr. Doherty. I have always wanted to trim down my belly and flank area (love handles) I but was so afraid to have any type of procedure/surgery. I wanted to meet him based on several recommendations from friends, and so I booked a few botox appointments with Dr. Doherty ...it only took one appointment actually, and I instantly knew I was in the right place to take the next step and ask him for a consultation. Not only is his office impressive, Dr. Doherty is extremely professional, yet so relatable and honestly so warm hearted. I felt as if I was talking with a friend, and my fears instantly disappeared. His entire team made me feel confident that I was in the best hands. His nurses are top-notch and just as warm and comforting. There is a certain degree of humility that goes into having this procedure and I felt so comfortable with each and every one of his team members. I opted for liposuction (fully awake) which means easier recovery, combined with "smart lipo" .... Of course I had the usual "anxious" feeling leading up to the day of surgery, but Dr. Doherty called me the night before and we went over everything and he once again put my mind at ease. I also had continued communication post-procedure with Dr. Doherty and full support from his staff. The pain was literally MINIMAL ! I was kept comfortable during the procedure, awake the entire time, and never took pain medicine at home. I am only about 10 weeks post surgery, and I am beyond thrilled with my result. My skin looks great, my stomach is flat, and bye-bye love handles. I religiously followed his post-procedure instructions, and if you do too, you will LOVE your new look. Don't even THINK of going elsewhere! Time to start shopping for new jeans :) Thank you so much Dr. Doherty.

On advice from a friend, I made an appointment with Dr. Sean Doherty to correct an application of filler I had received from my dentist. The filler had gone awry and settled like two lumps under my eyes. Dr. Doherty's office is located on Newbury Street in Copley Square and I was prepared to be intimated by both staff and other patients. Nothing could have been further from reality. The office and staff were both warm and friendly. Erin, Dr. Doherty's nurse, was caring and understanding, which immediately put me at ease. Dr. Doherty, with an air of experience, assured me he could correct the unsightly lumps and proceeded to do so with Enzyme shots. At this point, I asked what other procedures might tighten up my sagging face. Threads I was told would do the trick. On my second appointment, Dr. Doherty and Erin implanted 'threads' in my face. A fifteen minute procedure was able to literally take 10 years off my face immediately. I was astounded! I have since returned for botox and filler applications. I am 65 years old and although I am never going to have the youth of a 35 year old, I am so much more confident and truly happier! I no longer cringe when I see my reflection! If you are considering an in-office cosmetic procedure, this is who you want to do it. If I could give Dr. Doherty and his staff ten stars, I would!!!!!!

Dr. Doherty saved my lip and chin after I had a vascular occlusion from filler that was injected into my lip. In short, the technician that performed my injection hit an artery and the filler stopped the blood flow from my bottom lip and chin area. Both my lip and chin started turning blue and then black due to loss of blood. Thank gosh the technician knew the first hand signs and brought me directly into Dr. Doherty to be seen. He immediately stopped what he was doing and starting to perform multiple injections of Hyaluronidase in order to dissolve the filler that was blocking the blood flow. I was so afraid of what may happen to my lip and chin. would I recover? would there be permanent damage? I sat in this office for four hours that night while he treated me. He was so calming throughout the entire process. He sent me home and told me to come back in the next day for more treatments. When I got home I received a phone call from him checking in on me to be sure I was ok. He said I could call him any time throughout the evening if I needed to. He was so amazing and very caring about this entire ordeal! I felt more at ease knowing I was in good hands. I went back in the following day for more injections to be sure the filler was completely out. He was so kind to let me take up one of his exam rooms for another four hours in order for me to feel comfortable enough until I was ready to go home. I went back again the following day for one last treatment and was already looking ten times better! That weekend he followed up with me to see how I was feeling and check in. I saw him that following Tuesday to be sure all was healing nicely. It was like nothing ever happened to me!!! My lip and chin were healing so great and I honestly believe it was due to his quick help and knowledge on this very rare subject. Apparently this only happens to 2% of the population that gets filler and go figure I would fall into that bucket! I cannot thank Dr. Doherty enough for saving my face. I feel like not only did I gain a great doctor from this experience but also a friend for life! I cannot thank him enough

I recently had a breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Sean Doherty and want to share my unbelievable experience. From start to finish the entire procedure was flawless. His staff was excellent to work with and very accommodating to my needs. I am thrilled with the outcome, as I am completely healed at a few months post operation. My consultation with Dr. Doherty was so comprehensive, that I had no question or concern unanswered by the end of the appointment. There was no question that I would have him perform my surgery. Dr. Doherty is simply amazing. I had a both a blethroplasty and a face lift and I couldn't be happier with the results! Technically, Dr. Doherty is superb, but he is also so friendly and easy to talk to, and is a true perfectionist with impeccable follow up. I felt that Dr. Doherty listened to me and was genuinely concerned that I was both happy with the results and also that I was recovering well. I could not recommend Dr. Doherty more highly. If I could, I would give him an additional 10 stars because he is that amazing. I cannot say enough fantastic things about Dr. Doherty. If there were 100 stars available, I would choose that! He is kind, caring, hard-working, honest, patient, and excellent at his job! I absolutely LOVE my end result! I'm only a few months in and I look and feel like a new person! I had size H cup breasts (yes, there is an H). I have 2 small kids and I wanted to be able to run around with them without having to worry about my chest flopping around. They were so heavy it was difficult to jump rope or run around with them with any ease. After breast feeding them both my breasts were sagging as well. When I went in to see Dr. Doherty, I was really nervous. He set me at ease right away. He took one look at my breasts and said that I did indeed need a breast reduction. He was very honest with me and let me know there would be a significant amount of scarring. He really wanted to set my expectations appropriately. He said, "if you are worried about scarring then you are not ready for a breast reduction." That really resonated with me. I was also thinking about liposuction and he let me know what could and could not be done and walked me through the whole process. When I went home and thought about it, I realized that my quality of life was much more important than scarring, so I scheduled the operation. His excellent staff worked with my insurance to verify that it was covered and I was on my way. Every person I worked with on his team was excellent. They were nice, caring, thoughtful, and great at their jobs. The night before the operation I started getting very nervous. I was thinking about how it wasn't a necessary operation and reconsidering it. Just then Dr. Doherty called to see how I was doing and calm my nerves. He called at the perfect time and really knew just what to say to make me feel better. After the operation he called to check on me. His staff also called to check on me. He answered phone calls at night when we had questions. He was fully available and you always knew he just wanted the best for you and the best possible outcome. Every single thing he told me to expect happened and I felt prepared. I'm only 2 months in and my breasts look like I'm 20 again. They are perky and smaller and I can run and jump and I feel like a new person. The scarring that I was so concerned about is barely noticeable. I imagine over time I won't notice it at all. If you are thinking about any cosmetic surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Doherty!!! He changed my life!
