My experience with Dr. Yaremchuk has been nothing short of spectacular. He and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, approachable and caring. Their upper facility (reception area) is a beautifully adorned space that feels like home. Take a look at the preserved doors and antique moldings. The lower space is the clinical facility where Dr. Yaremchuk works his magic. It is a beautiful labyrinth of operating rooms, resting rooms and before/after care. The thing that impressed me most, though, was Dr. Yaremchuk's attitude. Always warm, engaging, patient, he feels more like that favorite uncle you haven't seen in years. Most doctors feel distant, somewhat unsympathetic or clinical. I didn't get that at all from Dr. Y. He is engaging and knows what he is talking about. With his breadth of experience (we talked about his huge resume and plethora of innovations and accomplishments) and patient, caring attitude, it's no wonder he is rated the worlds best cosmetic surgeon. Can't recommend him enough. (I experienced a chin surgery with Dr. Yaremchuk at the helm).

Got refered to Dr Yaremchuk by a relative as I was looking for a specialist of the extra class to do a cosmetic surgery here in Boston. Can only say good things about my experience and the professionalism of the dr and his staff.

I have a long, complicated history of plastic surgery (although "complicated" is subjective). So without turning this review into an unabridged novel of endless detail, I'll try to keep things concise and relevant enough. Essentially my entire facial skeletal structure has been crafted "bespoke" by Dr. Yaremchuk over the years. He's used predominantly porous polyethylene (PPE) to augment my posterior/anterior mandible, chin, paranasal, malar, and infraorbital regions. The before photo attached to this review you might notice is already pretty aesthetic and well-balanced. That's because that result was already following lower- and mid-face augmentation with Dr. Yaremchuk (the changes I've listed above). So then you could ask: why did I return for yet another procedure? One's view of ideal aesthetics is obviously subjective (i.e., in this case, chin projection posterior vs anterior to the lower lip, etc.), but I decided to come back to see Dr. Y this time around to have him augment the chin anterior to the lower lip, improve symmetry, and also widen/square-out the chin. He accomplished all three. Really well too. The after result you see here carries increased anterior projection on profile and a more masculinized appearance. Dr. Y's performance in terms of getting the projection to this level has far exceeded my expectations. My hunch is that my current result is actually what most males seeking chin/mandibular augmentation are looking for, but they don't know how to articulate their wants to the surgeon, and/or the surgeon doesn't have the expertise to craft the result. My natural, underlying structure I would conjecture is slightly hypoplastic relative to the population average, so it is impossible for me to effectively convey, via just two photos here, how much aesthetic augmentation I've received from Dr. Y. As I said, the results have exceeded any expectations I had. I should also point out that a somewhat incidental, secondary, positive outcome is I feel my nose is balanced in profile a lot better now. That hadn't been an overt concern of mine prior, but I can assess that the overall convexity of the profile has been reduced slightly, particularly since my brow/supraorbital area is fairly flat (or even slightly feminine) as it is. As I said, I'm aware two photos in isolation don't do justice, but what I can say is from the front and oblique views, my chin is now a lot wider, squarer, and masculinized. It's a solid result. So to recapitulate a little: in terms of surgical skill and experience, Dr. Yaremchuk is pretty much as good as it gets. I can happily put my full weight behind this review to say that I unequivocally recommend him to anyone looking for facial skeletal changes. You can also review his literature contributions online and see that he is the leader in the field. In fact, I doubt anyone out there even comes close. Beyond the surgical elements, his response times, willingness to engage, empathy, and overall bedside manner are great. True intent always shines through, and you can see that he really is in it for the patients - i.e., he's passionate about putting his patients first and taking on difficult cases to get people the result they're looking for. I write this review because of my level of gratitude toward Dr. Yaremchuk.

Dr. Yaremchuk is one of those rare plastic surgeons who beyond his impressive credentials possess an intuitive ability to understand the outcome you want. I've been a patient of his for over 3 years, faced with challenging reconstructive surgeries due to an auto accident. With each surgery Dr. Yaremchuk far exceeded my expectations. He cares deeply about your sense of self which I can't speak enough about. Dr Yaremchuk is a game changer not just because he is a gifted surgeon, but because he is vested in each patients goal.

Disastrous. This surgeon left my face disfigured and people staring at me asking if I was in a car accident This surgeon left my face with massive dark thick scars extending inches around eyes, I am seven months postop and people are still asking me if I was in a car accident or abused. I have never had to wear concealer in my life but now I'm too embarrassed to show my face. This has never been the case before having surgery with the surgeon. I am a nurse in Boston and doctors look at me as if someone is hitting me at home. I have to tell them the truth and tell them who did this to me. dr yaremchuk.

I just had a fantastic experience with Dr. Yaremchuk and I recommend his practice very highly. I had a consult with Dr. Yaremchuk, to see about what he recommended for me in terms of facial rejuvenation using injectable fillers, and he absolutely wowed me with his expertise and friendly, professional manner. I went to see him, assuming that he would probably advise filling in my nasolabial folds and slight marionette lines. On the contrary -- he advised against doing that and instead, after looking at some photos of me when I was younger, suggested otherwise. At my appointment, he injected Radiesse volumizing filler into my cheeks, to fill them out and compensate for my cheek implants that he been surgically applied in the wrong place (too low on my face) by another plastic surgeon. He also used what he told me was a "blunt needle technique," to minimize bruising. Then he injected Belotero Balance to fill in a depression on my nose, and also injected it into my lips, to make my lips fuller. Then Dr. Yaremchuk injected Xeomin on my crow's feet by my eyes and also on my forehead, to decrease the wrinkles. I had minimal bruising, no pain, and very slight swelling -- but after three days my husband tells me I'm a knockout. I absolutely intend to visit Dr. Yaremchuk soon for a plastic surgery consult, and I recommend his work and professionalism -- and impressive expertise -- with enthusiasm. He is a Boston plastic surgeon of the highest caliber, and if you visit his website you can read all about his body of work, which includes writing three plastic surgery textbooks. Along with all of his distinguished credentials, Dr. Yaremchuk is a clinical professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School, and chief of cranio-facial surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. With a cv like that, don't bother seeing another cosmetic plastic surgeon in Boston -- Dr. Yaremchuk is the go-to-guy, in my opinion.

I recently had my eyes, face and neck done with Dr. Yaremchuk. My experience has been excellent and I'm very pleased with the results. I wanted to look refreshed and that's exactly what I got. Dr. Yaremchuk answered all my questions and allayed all my concerns. He carefully explained each procedure and reviewed the recovery process. The day of the surgery, he and his staff were well prepared, answered several last minute questions, and carefully prepped me for surgery. I stayed the night at the faculty and the night nurse provided excellent support and care. In the morning they prepared me for my trip home and discussed detailed follow-up steps. I highly recommend Dr. Yaremchuk if you are considering any cosmetic surgery. He is an outstanding surgeon. He cares about his clients and his staff are the best.

In as much as I hate to write this review, I feel that it needs to be written.I am a professional opera singer / performer with New York cities prestigious opera company and I work in Boston at a major hospital.I’m a breast cancer survivor of 2005.I feel that Dr Yaremchuk is a great doctor so it has nothing to do with his ability, my problem with him is the way his office does his scheduling.I recently had a problem that developed which needed his consulting since he was the surgeon who did my reconstructive surgery back in 2005 .I thought that it would be best to schedule an appointment to see him to get help with my problem.I showed up for my first appointment and was told that the doctor couldn’t see me because he was in surgery, so I had no problem with the rescheduling, I know Dr.Yaremchuk is busy and things do and can happen so I didn’t mind, the problem I had was every time I showed up for my rescheduled appointment, I was told , the doctor cannot see me and that I need to reschedule my appointment.I was trying to be understanding but ! Each time I showed up for the appointment , I was cancelled.I have obligations to , I have a busy and hectic rehearsing schedule in New York , then I have to work in Boston at the hospital on weekends not to mention not getting enough sleep, I’m exhausted to be told I can’t be seen each time I show up for the appointment was enough for me.A dear of mine who is a doctor recommended a great plastic surgeon to me , I will be getting the help that I try to get from Dr.Yaremchuk .I won’t have to deal with a constant cancellation of appointments.I have no intent to seek treatment of any kind from Dr.Yaremchuks office, People should never judge a book by its cover we all have obligations and are busy to, I feel that if the doctor is to busy to see the patient don’t have the appointment scheduled at all ,refer the patient to someone who has the time to see the patient .

The worst doctor! He has ruined my face by adding unwanted implants without my consent, then lied to me by saying he has removed it while the implants remained. He also caused bells parsley on the right side of my face after mid face lifting.

Dr. Yaremchuk went above and beyond in getting us an appointment. It was very important to my Daughter that she not miss any school. He was able to fit us in and make that happen a week before school started. His office and staff are the best! I will forever be thankful to Dr. Yaremchuk for making this so easy for us. He took great care of my very scared ten year old. He is the kindest most caring Dr I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you again so very much! This is a letter written by my 10 year old Daughter sent to Dr. Yaremchuk on August 29, 2015. Dear Dr. Yaremchuk, Thank you very much for finding time for me in your full schedule. I really appreciate it. Thank you also for fitting me in so quickly, I am very thankful that I do not have to miss school for a surgery. You and all your staff were so friendly and made me feel a lot better. Thank you for doing such a great job on my surgery!!! I am so grateful for you helping me. Thanks a ton! :) Sincerely, Chloe

Dr. Y did an outstanding job on my face. I had previous facial surgery, with the burring down of a chin which unfortunately had a small golfball like 'knob' of bone on it, which make a improvement but unfortunately left excessive soft tissue which sagged and balled up on my chin. Dr. Y put in a small implant and was able to remove much the excess soft tissue, making a very noticeable improvement. As a new physician myself, I spent a lot of time reading about possible procedures and came across Dr. Y's work, which includes multiple peer reviewed medical articles. He is absolutely a pioneer in the field of facial surgery, and his reputation is well deserved. I have noticed some people criticize that he tends to be conservative with his procedures.... from a cosmetic standpoint, again speaking as a new physician, I can tell you that you WANT a surgeon who makes a conservative approach, but a small one that makes a big difference (a small QUANTITY of difference can make a big QUALITY improvement ).... Otherwise you are very likely to run into complications, including undesirable outcomes, injuries, and deformities that cannot be fixed. Expectations must be realistic, but with realistic expectations, Dr. Y will meet and exceed those. I'd highly recommend him to anyone.

I was very pleased with the results of my procedure and the level of knowledge and confidence Dr. Yaremchuk demonstrated and displayed during my procedure.

Dr. Yaremchuk is the best. If you are nervous about having something small/minor done but think you might want to try it, go to this doctor.

I Could not be happier with the incredible results after surgery with Dr. Yaremchuk. Had breast implants, and a Brow lift . This was 15 years ago ! To date breasts are still in the same place , firm and look totally natural . My brows the same .. no drooping . Am soon going to return for a mini face lift and feel totally confident the results will be wonderful . He ‘s very caring , thorough , takes his time during consultations. It’s why perhaps others complain about him not being exactly on time . Would rather wait than be rushed ! Can’t say enough good things about my experiences. Highly recommend.

Dr. Yaremchuk is an excellent surgeon. He suggested jaw implants and showed me photos of what this would look like. I agreed this was exactly what I was looking for. The pre and post surgery instructions were very clear and all of his staff were easy to work with. Dr. Yaremchuk was a bit optimistic that I'd be up to working from home the day after surgery; I was glad to take another day off work. But, the recovery has been easy and the results look very good and natural.

Dr Yaremchuk is one of Boston's and nation's leading plastic surgeons. I know that because I did a research on him and found a number of his publications in the top leading local and national magazines. If you are looking for a truly knowledgeable plastic surgeon with decades of experience then this back bay practice is a place to visit for any questions you have regarding the craniofacial or cosmetic surgery issues or plans.

It is an honor and a privilege to be a patient Dr. Yaremchuk. He is in my opinion, one of the top cosmetic/plastic surgeons in the world. I had a face lift, neck lift, and breast lift and the results are spectacular.

Ethan Crawford

I could recommend Dr.Yaremchuk for his experience, expertise, credentials, or affable personality. However, I think Dr.Y really stands out for his ability to imagine what would best suit the patient's face. I had a number of procedures done at once: rhinoplasty and three facial augmentations (chin, jaw, and cheekbones). I'm happy with the results of the individual procedures, and with how they look together. I highly recommend Dr.Yaremchuk.
