He may comes out a bit cocky but it’s because he knows how good he is. He listens to you but still gives you his professional opinion and I listened to him. I am so happy with the results. So natural and exactly what I wanted. The only thing I can complain is that he doesn’t have much tolerance for a lot of questions or concerns. But still totally recommend him and would go back to him if I wanted to do other cosmetic things.

Dr. Friedman is the Master of his craft. It is so delightful to find someone so natural and passionate about what they do. It is a big plus that he really IS THE BEST!!! I heard of Dr. Friedman for years as the guy to go to. When I decided to act, that is where I went. Then I sent my husband. I feel so comfortable to refer Dr. Friedman to anybody - you should not go anywhere else. He has not paid me to say it, neither have I got any discounts - I am just really happy with the results for me and my husband. I had work done by Roger Friedman, and he disfigured my face. I have had many complications due to surgery and scared for life. Ive been under other doctors care and were shocked to know a Roger Friedman had done this kind of work. I would not recommend this surgeon what so ever.

A few of my neighbors recommended Dr. Friedman. I had seen each of them over the summer and would not have suspected they had augmentation. Dr. Friedman's staff is amazing. Having cosmetic surgery can make you feel a little silly or vain and frankly, scared. They put me at ease and asked all my questions with patience and treated me with kindness and respect. My case was a bit complicated because I had a condition called "tuberous breasts" which often requires more incisions, thus more scarring. Dr. Friedman and I discussed all my options and agreed upon a solution. One of the best things about our meeting was that he didn't push for me to go for too large of an implant to avoid the overly fake "tupperware bowl" look that we see so much of these days. (Like I said, I didn't know my 2 neighbors had surgery either!) They got me on to the schedule quickly and the results are unbelievable. Luckily, he was able to perform the procedure with little exterior scarring. The size is perfect. It is a year later and I know it is one of the best decisions I have made. The scars are gone, completely. I am surprised by how natural they look. Many people have told me that there would be no feeling after the surgery. My feeling has returned. I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Friedman and his team. I wish I had seen them sooner, but I'm so glad I finally did. I feel confident and do not need to buy another padded, push-up, fake out bra/bathing suit again!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Friedman and staff. His expertise, kindness , compassion and skill as a surgeon is unmatched. After a significant weight loss I decided on a tummy tuck to get rid of my excess skin despite all the exercise I did. The results are amazing I feel like a new person and have a much easier time exercising and reaching my fitness goals. Dr. Friedman gave me back the self confidence I had lost for so many years. Fast forward 2 years and my journey continues. I have kept my weight off and am a regular at the gym. I have even taken up tennis after a 23 year hiatus! I decided last year to do a neck and lower facelift to get rid of the saggy skin from losing weight and just a few months ago had a thigh lift due to the excess skin despite daily exercise. I cannot tell you how happy I am with Dr. Friedman's work on me. As I approach my 55th birthday in a few short months I feel 20 years younger. I cannot thank Dr. Friedman enough for his amazing work, his wonderful demeanor and sense of humor that always makes me feel at ease. His entire staff makes you feel special from the moment you enter the office till you recover and beyond. I have referred Dr. Friedman to friends and they are equally as happy and impressed as I am.

Roger Friedman gave me a facelift a few years back. I look good but I am in my 4th year and continue to suffer with daily nerve pain. I need to take a medication that works as a nerve block 4 times per day. That is down from the first 6 months when I needed 12 pills per day. I cannot wear earrings or tolerate my hair or sheets near my face. I have held in my deep dissatisfaction with Roger until now because we went to high school together and I considered him a friend so when I decided to have the surgery, I entered into it with complete faith and trust that Roger would take good care of me. All was fine until the day of surgery. After more than 4 hours of surgery, I was literally pushed out of the recovery area even though I begged to stay for a while longer. Against my husband and my wishes to rest a bit longer, I was briskly ushered out even though I required two people to hold me upright as I stumbled to the car. Clearly, the nurses had their orders and they would not listen to my concerns. I had severe pain for about one year. When I returned with my husband to share with Roger my concerns, he said I was having anxiety. He offered absolutely no compassion or helpful suggestion. We finally said, could you call a pain doctor for a recommendation. He did, and after less than a minute, hung up and said here is a prescription for lyrica. I asked if there were any concerns about side effects and he quickly retorted, none. I had a strong and bad reaction to that medication. I feel this was the second big mistake in my care, the first was when I was sent out of recovery prematurely. Roger suggested finally. after numerous complaints from me, that I see a nerve specialist. I saw two, one that he recommended and one other. Interestingly enough, both agreed that he had made a few mistakes that if attended to sooner, could have been rectified. Another mistake on Roger’s part. They did however, tell me that if I were to subpoena them, they would not speak in court about his mistakes. I wrote Roger a personal letter about my condition and he responded with a legal response in which he took no responsibility and offered no compassion or apology. It has taken me years to write this because we had been friends. I do feel that if you are considering going to Roger for surgery, at least consider what I have said. I may look fine but I am reminded daily of my negative experience with Roger Friedman’s care or unfortunately, lack of care. Sincerely Sharon Boorstein Evans

I had rhinoplasty with Dr Friedman a year ago. I gave it the full year, since rhinoplasty takes a year to fully heal. But I knew something was wrong almost immediately; after they took the cast off my nose I had some pretty bad asymmetry. They kept telling me, it's just swelling, it's just swelling. Well, it's been a year, it's no longer swollen...and it's asymmetric. I have uneven bone growth on my bridge which another plastic surgeon that I visited told me was due to poor rhinoplasty technique. It makes the bridge of my nose very lumpy, which is visible when I move my eyebrows and in overhead lighting. I even brought this up during my last appointment with Dr. Friedman, and his response was, "Don't move your eyebrows." It will require revision surgery for additional rasping of the uneven growth. On top of that, Dr. Friedman has poor bedside manner. He mocks you when you ask questions and gives you the same speech during your consultation as he has given to 10,000 other people. It is blatantly obvious that it is memorized and rehearsed. I am just realizing how bad his bedside manner is now that I have had multiple appointments with my revision surgeon (one of the highest rated surgeons for rhinoplasty in DC), who couldn't be better at answering my questions. Choosing him for rhinoplasty was a mistake. I regret it immensely. Not that I got surgery, but I wish I had gone to a doctor who specializes in rhinoplasty who has better technique and better people skills. I'm giving him two stars because my nose didn't collapse, so I don't require a complete reconstruction, and the tip does look cute. But the bridge is so bad and needs to be fixed. Perhaps he's great for fillers/botox/other surgeries, I can't speak to that. But if it's rhinoplasty you're after, go somewhere else.

I'll admit. I was scared to have a facelift. Put it off for years. Now that I have had it done, I am sorry I waited as long as I did. While there was some discomfort (and not a lot), there really was very little pain involved. Dr. Friedman did a stellar job and he puts you completely at ease with him, the procedure and what to expect. He and his staff are professional, caring and warm. From my first visit, through all follow-ups, I simply could not have been happier. But, the results speak for themselves! All my friends want to know who did my surgery.
