Dr. Vincent and his staff are all very caring individuals. They have always made me feel welcome in the office, and they worked around my scheduling requests for appointments and procedures. Dr. Vincent is very professional but also caring and compassionate. I had both a breast reduction and an abdominoplasty. The procedures were scheduled about 10 days apart which sounds a bit crazy, but I'm a teacher and wanted the summer to recover. Dr. Vincent always made sure I was very comfortable with everything and answered any questions I had. If I forgot to ask a question, I could email through the website, and he responded quickly. I do not hesitate to recommend Dr. Vincent.

His staff worked with us for 2 days to make sure we finally got the right docs. I saw Dr. Vincent approximately 20 years ago for a breast reduction. At that time, every doctor that examined me was very impressed with his work. Evidently, this type of surgery is not often done so well. In addition, I recently had breast cancer and the radiation left the breast in terrible shape and I could not even wear clothes correctly. Dr. Vincent took the time to think about the best course of action prior to giving me a proposal. He was very honest in his assessment of the results and what I should expect. I highly recommend Dr. Vincent! Let me tell you why. You will notice that when you show up for your consultation appointment, you are likely to be the only one in the reception area. This is not because they aren’t busy but because the office staff does an awesome job of scheduling. I have been battling skin cancer for the past 20 years and have undergone Mohs surgeries over the past 15 years. Numerous surgeries have been on my back which can be covered up with my shirt. However, there have been a number of procedures performed on my face, specifically my forehead. On each of my facial procedures, I asked Dr. Michael Vincent to complete the closing sutures to reduce and/or eliminate scars. The first operation was an incision approximately 1 inch long above my right eyebrow. Dr. Vincent closed the incision and incorporated it into an existing line on my forehead so that you could not even tell there was any difference from before the operation. Dr. Vincent has always done a miraculous job reducing any evidence of my skin cancer removals on my face. I joke, but there is a lot of truth in my statement, “Dr. Vincent keeps me looking pretty”. I also enjoy the way that Dr. Vincent always discusses his procedures and the follow-up action on my part. He always takes time to make me feel comfortable with what he is planning to do. I cannot recommend Dr. Michael Vincent high enough for the wonderful work that he has performed on me.

Each time before a procedure is done, he gives you antibiotics to ensure your safety from infection. He is very compassionate and caring. After doing research and interviewing many doctors, I decided to go with Dr. Vincent. I have had 2 surgeries with Dr. Vincent. One to place implants and 2nd one to have them removed. Dr. Vincent was the only doctor that recognized the difference in my chest and how it wasn't a straightforward procedure. He discussed the options with the first surgery (implants) very clearly and was patient with all of my questions/concerns. The outcome was wonderful. Based on my experience, Dr. Vincent is a 5-star plastic surgeon. Prior to selecting a doctor, I reviewed Washingtonian articles, listing best doctors in the Washington metropolitan area by speciality, including plastic surgery. For each plastic surgeon listed, I studied the online reviews and ratings. I also researched additional surgeons whose names had been given to me. Interestingly, doctors with offices in the most affluent areas, such as Chevy Chase, were not uniformly rated among the best. In some instances, there were even scary reviews describing undesirable results. Dr. Vincent ranked the highest at the time with average ratings I recall of 4.8 out of 5. His reviews were amazing and there were none that alarmed me. In addition to his high rankings and exceptional reviews, I was also impressed by Dr. Vincent’s medical background; he was Chief of Plastic Surgery at Shady Grove for over 15 years. Surely, I thought, he had to be an exceptional plastic surgeon to have held this position and for so long. From my first to my last follow-up appointment with Dr. Vincent, I was never disappointed. He takes great pride in his work and I could not be more pleased with the results. Dr. Vincent is also an expert at Botox injections. While you might find Botox costing less elsewhere, if you need careful placement in order to achieve a desired result, Dr. Vincent is exceedingly good at it. For privacy reasons, I have not included the nature of my plastic surgery, but if you would like to see photos, Dr. Vincent’s office can share them with you. His staff are kind and competent, including Debbi who has worked at the front desk for many years. She’s wonderful.

In my first initial meeting with Dr. Vincent, he was professional, but personal. He explained the options to me thoroughly, patiently, and in detail. These are the most important qualities to me to have in a doctor; professional, but personal. I had to have many surgeries after the initial mastectomy for reconstruction. I wish I can upload pictures, as a results of what I got after my breast reduction. I got a surgery almost 1 year ago, when I saw my breast after the surgery for the 1st time I Just couldn’t hold it, my tears came, all my body started shaking. That time he told me that it will get better, just give it some time. In 2 weeks I went to see another plastic surgeon, just to show the results. A doctor didn’t believe me that it was done in the US. When, next time I came to see Dr. Vincent I started crying again and I told him that my breast looks scary and I am so unhappy of what he did. Of course, he didn’t like what I had to say at all. He became very rout with me, by making me feel better, hi said that I should be lucky by not losing a nipple sensation. Now at 31 years old my breast looks so ugly, I am not a fat person, 5.9, 172 pounds, working out a lot and I was hoping that this surgery will change my life, my breast was 38F. Now my breast much smaller, but obviously I need another surgery, my breast is very low, it has a square shape. When I mention this to the dr he said, he can fixed, but it’s a cosmetic procedure, which will be not covered by insurance. I already paid $3000 as my deductible. So I have to pay again now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want everyone to know, that it was very long process for me, before I agreed to go with Dr. Vincent. I went to see more than 10 different doctors in MD, DC, and VA. I decided to go with him based on years of experience he has, he promised me that I will have nice breast.
