Dr. Birely was always on time and every visit was consice but efficient. He provided me with all the information I needed to help make a life changing decision and I felt very comfortable with him from the first encounter. I would recommend Dr. Birely to any of my friends/family who are seeking this service. I csnnot say anything but outstanding service overall. Please make sure you watch what he charges you for. He charged me for an additional procedure that wouldn't be covered under my insurance and the day of my procedure decided he didn't need to do anymore. I asked him for a refund and he rudely told me no and told me he was done answering my questions. I may be having to sue him to get my money back! Please second guess picking him as your surgeon! Worst experience of my life! Besides him the clerical folk are nice and pleasant.

My wife had breast reduction surgery (DD to a C) prompted by chronic back pain. While the surgeon did a decent job on the breasts proper, there was a large mass of breast tissue that extended around her chest and back under her arms (she has a small/meduum frame) that he just left so that now she appears to have "C-cups" on her chest and a "B-Cup" under each arm. During the pre-surgery consultations, he assured her (us? Because I was there) that if she was unhappy with anything about the results of her procedure he would fix it. We went back to discuss "fixing it" and he says he wil.....for an additional $3000 or so....

my appointment was with cheryl. cheryl is so outgoing and welcoming that she immediately put me at ease. i am the type of person who appreciates their doctor running on time and i was not disappointed. from the moment i walked into dr. birely's office until the moment i left i was treated with respect the staff is so couteous and they go out of their way to make sure you have a positive experience. i will definitely be returning to got dysport and fillers with cheryl and i cannot wait to tell my friends to make appointments too. i highly recommend dr. birely and cheryl.

He said, 'I didn't ask you whether you want me to err on the side of more or less." I was too foggy to ask, but I still wonder whether he meant leave or remove more or less.

My daughter split her lip on Independence Day. Due to the holiday it was nearly impossible to get an appointment with a plastic surgeon, but due to the nature of the injury, that is what she needed and time was of the essence. I desperately called around and somehow got in touch with Dr. Birely. He happily came into work on his day off just to help my daughter. My daughter was petrified since she knew it would be painful and she has a tremendous fear of needles. Dr. Birely calmly spoke with her, played games with her (including squirting syringes filled with water down his halls) until she was calm. He then creatively disguised giving the shots and putting in the stiches so that my daughter didn’t know it was happening. It is hard to express in words how amazing he was. The area has healed perfectly and we cannot be more thankful to him. He is not only an amazing doctor, but an amazing human being!

I am very pleased with Dr. Birely. He is very skilled and my results are amazing. From my initial consultation, I knew that this was the place that I wanted to be. Artistry in Plastic Surgery is warm and welcoming. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They made this a pleasurable experience. Dr. Birely checked on my the evening of my surgery and also was available for any questions I had. He was recommended to me by a close cousin and I would absolutely recommend him.

Dr Birely made an overpromise for B Cups and didn’t deliver. While that fell short and a spot where it looks sloppy stitched up and the nipples could’ve been better I am satisfied with his work for the plastic surgery because it’s hard to come by good breast reduction work in Baltimore. I was a bit shocked after I received additional charges after being told my insurance will cover it all. I did not care for that at all. Was very sketchy. His aftercare follow up is a bit harsh and touch and go. Just seems like his bedside demeanor disappears after he gets paid and does the job. The older woman that is his assistant is just amazing and made the pre and post op great. I like the smaller facility where he did the surgery. Was nice to be in and out. Would recommend him overall.

I didn't care at all for his overall demeanor but I trusted that he would successfully remove the skin cancer from my foot. It turned out he neglected to remove all the stitches so my scar got infected. I ended up removing the stitches myself. It took it about 2 months to heal. I sent him an email letting him know what happened and included the photos of my infected scar. He simply ignored it.

Dr. Birely came highly recommended to me from a friend and she loved him and his staff. My consultation visit was very informational however I was still nervous. Once I met the doctor he made me feel very comfortable about not only the procedure but about the visit and about the office and his staff was overwhelmingly pleasing.
