I learned in April 2018 that I had a BRCA1 gene mutation and soon after decided to have prophylactic surgeries to prevent breast cancer. I knew I also wanted to have reconstructive surgery. Dr. Brown was one of 4 plastic surgeons I consulted with and I am SO happy I chose him. I have had four surgeries with Dr. Brown: a breast reduction so I could be able to have a nipple-sparing mastectomy; the mastectomy 4.5 months later (with breast surgeon Dr. Pam Wright, also excellent) which included implanting expanders to begin the reconstruction; an unexpected surgery to head off an infection on one side (it worked); and the most recent surgery in which he swapped the expanders for final implants and did fat grafting to smooth the contours. I decided to have a tummy tuck at the same time! Through all these surgeries and many visits to the office, I have been so impressed by Dr. Brown's honesty, kind and calm demeanor, professionalism, and ability to put me at ease. The results have been outstanding as well. Although my last surgery was only 8 days ago, I already love how I look. Alex, Kathy, Kristina, Ashley, and Lori on staff are wonderful as well. They greet me by name and make me feel at home. I never thought I'd be in the care of a plastic surgeon, but Dr. Brown was and is the right doctor for me. I recommend him highly to everyone. Dr. Bruno is a wonderful doctor and person. I love the results of the tummy tuck and breast lift and augmentation. I fell 2 weeks after surgery so I called him several times, and each time he called back immediately, patiently addressing all my concerns. During preop visits and postop visits, he patiently and thoroughly answered question upon question. He makes you feel as if you are the only patient he has, even though he has so many. Also, the staff is great, and Lori has spent so much time with me on the phone helping me with my postop instructions and questions. I have never been so pleased or impressed as I am with Dr. Bruno and the Chevy Chase Plastic Surgery staff!!!

I got my surgery done through Dr. Bruno and I could not be happier with my results, he is absolutely amazing.. emphasis on amazing at what he does! He is so professional and covers everything that you need to know. I knew I was in good hands here. Lori Hunt, the treatment coordinator is absolutely amazing as well! She is so friendly and from the time of my consultation up until after the surgery, she stayed in constant contact and always replied back asap when I had a question. I have had 3 procedures (filler, tummy tuck, and thigh lift) performed by Dr. Bruno, and I have been more than satisfied each time. In fact, I'm in the process of scheduling a breast augmentation. After mohs surgery on my upper lip, I required stitching to close affected area. Dr Bruno made himself available within hours after my surgery and spent 90 minutes going three layers deep to minimize any scaring or disfigurement. No one has recognized the affected area and I am grateful for Dr Bruno's expertise and consideration on my behalf. The staff was most courteous and the office environment is very calming and restorative. I will return for a facial there soon and see what other procedures might be beneficial for me.

Recently, my husband drove me to the Sibley Hospital Emergency Room because I tripped and fell on uneven pavement while walking in our neighborhood. I had numerous lacerations on my face, but I had the good fortune to have Dr. Pamela Tan, a plastic surgeon, attend to my injuries. She is a very kind, empathetic, caring and gifted surgeon who stitched my lacerations with a gentle touch. I felt calm and was comforted by her warm demeanor. I can NOT praise the talent and professionalism of Dr. Pamela Tan at Bruno Brown Plastic Surgery enough! I went to see her to get my ear repaired after suffering a full rip from heavy earrings. I was blown away by not only how kind and reassuring she was but by how easy and seamless the entire process was. She repaired my ear and now I wear earrings like nothing had ever happen. While there I took leap of faith and asked her about getting lip fillers. I have always been self conscious bout my crooked tiny lips.( When I smile my top lip disappeared.) I was also terrified of looking like a duck. She assured me that she could do it and make it look natural. Dr. Tran is such a professional that I trusted her with this and she was right! I LOVE my Lips. I have gotten such great compliments on them. She started off small and allowed me to come back for touch ups until I felt like they were the shape I wanted. She also answered all over dramatic texts and calls I had after the procedure to make sure I felt confident and that everything was ok with healing. I have been back twice now for another filler! Overall, Dr. Tran is amazing and I would highly recommend her! Bruno Brown Plastic Surgery is top notch!
