The doctors and staff are very attentive and listened to my concerns. The facilities are beautiful and clean. They were also very kind and helped me not to feel as nervous. The only thing I would change is that I would have liked to get a full skin mapping when I came in to get a suspicious mole removed, rather than scheduling another visit later (because I have a high deductible insurance plan). But, I did not know I would need one, so I didn't ask in advance. They work easily with my schedule.

My husband will have some follow up work done, wish that they could have done it in the actual visit instead of having to come back for another visit, not sure why. The building itself is unassuming as you walk up but once you are inside it’s like you’ve walked into a spa. Very clean, everyone was friendly and the RN that did my consultation was fantastic. She wasn’t pushy, answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. Dr Cohen did an AMAZING job on my tummy tuck. surgery was 1-28-16. He was awesome. I had no pain after my surgery I can't believe it. My scar is very low and thin. I would definitely recommend him. Im 16 days post op and I'm pretty much back to regular life and Light exercise (walking the treadmill).

No stars, but had to click to post. Unfortunately, incredibly disheartening at one of the most difficult times of my life. Revision surgery from breast cancer. I incurred expense to fly 900 miles to have last procedure done and what was done was not what was discussed and agreed upon (two different size implants and fat added instead of being removed). I needed yet another surgery to correct this. When I was aware different sizes were what was causing my discomfort I tried unsuccessfully, to get my records and discuss balance due. Rcvd notices they were turning my account over to collections. Angel Hyatt would neither provide my records nor return any of my messages. Now collection agency calls. Shameful, cancer, many surgeries and now legal issue for negligence. Please be careful in your selection.

However, I was told I would be called in the next 48 hours to schedule the procedure. I left an email and a voicemail seeing if they were going to schedule something for me. Although I appreciate the care and attention of Dr. Martins, I almost canceled this appointment because of a bad experience with the online system for entering my medical information. I couldn't get it to work and couldn't get staff help. After I got a phone call telling me my appointment would be cancelled if I didn't submit the data, I agreed to come in a half hour early to enter the information on the clunky office iPad. A waste of time and energy.

I am a 36 year breast cancer survivor who experienced a double mastectomy. Prior to meeting the doctors at Belecara, I had reconstruction 2 times. Neither was very successful. Then I met Dr. Lickstein. The result of the surgery he did for me is nothing short of miraculous. He and his staff made me feel as though I was his only patient. Seems every time I come in the building their is a scheduling issue. Wether they have to reschedule because my appointment has been double booked or my surgeon is in a different office like the Columbia office. I got no noticed that my surgeon has changed his office to the Clarkview belcara health office. The decision to travel to my surgeon was forced upon me he used to be a mile away now I drive over 30 minutes away and I live in Columbia. When I came in the building I had to put all my new information in when they should've already had my file that was a huge inconvenience. The woman at the front desk was rude over the phone when I make appointments because to her it seemed easier to travel to the The Baltimore area because my surgeon is there more versus giving me what I asked for the Columbia office appointments. Whenever I made an appointment they scheduled me for the Baltimore office when they know I prefer the Columbia office which I made very clear. I'm to the point that I would just drop my plastic surgeon all together even though the results he did were amazing I would prefer to deal with an office that has more organization.

Seven years ago (2005) I weighed nearly 500 pounds and decided to have gastric by pass surgery. After having the surgery, I lost 200 pounds and continued a regular exercise routine for about 2 years. In late 2010, I hadn't been exercising for nearly 3 years and put back about 50 pounds. Realizing I was going in the wrong direction, I decided to work out with a trainer and get into shape. After about a year and a half I had lost 80 pounds and was tired of looking at the extra skin that was a constant reminder of my previous weight, so I decided to get the extra skin removed from my chest and stomach. I went to Johns Hopkins Bayview for a consult, which is where I had my gastric by pass done, and the doctor that did my consult said I was an excellent candidate for the skin removal surgery, but she failed to return my numerous calls. So after waiting 3 months, I decided it was time to go somewhere else and get another consult. This time I went to Dr. Cohen at the Cosmetic Surgery Center of Maryland. His staff was absolutely incredible. They were able to answer all my questions, and after my consult with Dr. Cohen, if I had any other questions, they were able to get the answers for me. After the consult, I still needed some time to make the decision, after all it was elective surgery and pretty extensive at that. Knowing that I would have over 5 feet of incisions, there is always a chance of infection. I am happy to say that it has been 2 months since my surgery and not only are all the scars beginning to fade, but I never had any pain, nor did I have any infection. I attribute a large part of my successful recovery from the surgery to the excellence of Dr. Cohen and his staff. If I ever decide to have the extra skin removed from my upper legs, I won't waste any time going to anyone else. Dr. Cohen is the only doctor I will go to for any Cosmetic Surgery. Needless to say, I highly recommend Dr. Cohen and the Cosmetic Surgery Center of Maryland.

I came to Belcara following my amazing dermatologist Dr Martins. For the longest time I only saw him for medical reasons, and went elsewhere for cosmotological sessions. Finally, when he recommended a procedure I used to scoff at, I gave it a try. I trust him that much. The results were amazing. Friends and family alike noticed the difference (and my skim already looked good). Eventually I dove deeper into their product lines and had more services and consultations there. When my mom who hadn’t seen me for over a year finally came to visit she was amazed at how good I looked. I’m 47 in April and absolutely no one believes it. My high school students argue whether I’m in my early mid or late 30s. Sure, this is genetics; it’s certainly not lifestyle. Belcara has helped me take it to another level in skin health. While some of my fellow clients might want to come down a notch (we are all here for similar reasons), the staff is amazing. Everyone is kind, polite, professional and personable. No snobbery here! So why four? For one reason: as a guy, I feel like everything caters to women. There’s no real outreach to men. I’ve twice been given gift bags with lipstick in it.

Deciding to have surgery is a big choice. I shopped several doctors before deciding to go with Dr.Cohen. My consult was the most comfortable I felt and he truly listened to the results I wanted from my breast augmentation. As an athlete it was important to me that I not have too big an implant, I just wanted a more full but natural look. I saw several doctors who not only charged me for consults but then wanted to use a larger implant than I was comfortable with. The whole process, from scheduling the initial consult to my surgery was as easy and stress free as it can be. Doctor Cohen's experience and bedside manner put my nerves at ease. Dr Cohen is great and his work is beautiful. I saw him for a breast augmentation and couldn't be happier with the results. If I didn't admit that I had this procedure done I don't think most would even be able to tell that I have implants. My only complaint with the entire process is I feel after I paid for the procedure in full, I noticed the attentiveness and time spent with the nursing/scheduling staff dropped significantly. My pre-op felt rushed and my first two post-ops as well, not to mention the staff was consistently behind schedule. This could be because the CSCMD is so popular and constantly busy, but I still feel its worth mentioning and possibly an area for improvement. If it weren't for that one complaint, I would have given CSCMD, and Dr Cohen in particular, a 5 star rating.

Doctor Cohen is wonderful, friendly, and honest. I trusted his opinion and he was very willing to listen and express any concern he had with what I was looking at getting done as far as breast size and what my body type could handle. Any questions I had he answered them with complete knowledge. I love that he prefers the natural breasted appearance on the female body, and did not pressure me on the sizing. I could not have put this procedure in anyone else's hands and I will definitely go back for any further procedures I may under go. After losing 100 plus pounds after RNY gastric bypass, I completely lost my chest. I had such mental issues and did not feel comfortable in my skin, let alone sexually attractive. After lots of research for plastic surgeons in the area, I contacted Belecara and was placed under Doctor Cohen. The recovery was a bit rough, and I was very worried about how high the implants were in my chest, but the strap they provided helped them "fluff and drop" about 4-5 weeks after the surgery. I suffered from pseudoptosis "fake saggy breasts" before surgery; I was barely an A cup and now am roughly a D/DD. I am beyond happy with the results - they look real, feel real. My confidence of my body has sky rocketed! I love the staff and the building, and the price of the implants was fair. I highly recommend Doctor Cohen and his wonderful staff.

I review it as a really bad service because first, she didn't check my skin AT ALL. and second, she send me a bunch of hormones and my medical history, (that she had access to it) clearly says I can not take any hormones!!! Just awful.

They are crooks and swindlers. Do not go there. Purchased a Groupon for 3 sessions for large area. went for consultation was told that it would be covered. Got a call from the manager 3 weeks before appointment date that they would only do half my back and I would have to pay up for the other half. the clinic manager Angela is very very unprofessional on the phone. she wouldn't let me speak to anyone higher up. I told her she can use the 3 sessions that I had purchased and do it in one session and do my whole back and I will not use my third session and let it go. she said she cant do it. Wasn't agreeable to help me at all. will not go back there. Have lost $ 300 in the process. I am a physician myself would not recommend this unprofessional place.

I WAS SKEPTICAL about cosmetic surgery and was nervous about spending a lot of money for a surgical procedure not covered by my insurance company. I went to Cosmetic Surgery Center desiring a BODY LIFT for my inner thighs and buttocks. Prior to my appointment I researched reviews about the center and the body lift procedures. I reviewed many positive and negative reviews about the center and the procedures. I attended my consultation with questions and concerns that I generated from my prior research. If I was going to invest THOUSANDS of dollars I wanted to know everything! Dr. Lickstein EXCEEDED my expectations! He was very kind, and honest about what he could provide for me. I told him that I was requesting a body lift for my inner thighs and buttocks. He honestly stated that the technology does not exist and that the current procedures that he could provide for me - the thigh lift - was not as reliable as other procedures. He advised me to WAIT on a procedure until reliable technology and a reliable procedure is developed. I appreciated his honesty. He told me to call back in 6 months and see if there is anything he can do for me. I will make the phone call in 6 months and will have my procedure done by Dr. Lickstein once reliable technology exists. His HONESTY is why I will return to this center. In the meantime he did tell me to continue my healthy style of living and even though he can't do anything for me now, there is no price that I can pay for living a healthy lifestyle and accepting my body for what it is! THANKS Dr. LICKSTEIN!!

I write this with a heavy heart because I had hope that things would go well and I could move on with my full and busy life. Everyone started out nice during my consultation, taking my payment, and setting up the procedure but then things went downhill. I have PTSD and anxiety from past experiences with doctors, which I informed them about, like my family doctor told me to but they made me feel bad when I would go to my post op appointments anyway. With that information you would think they would have been more understanding and kind, which they were before my surgery. I noticed that all changed afterwards when I couldn’t find the right aftercare garments (which I never found any that actually fit me) and then when I told them things were not right months later. The doctor didn’t really listen or try to understand when I went to several post op appointments to explain to him I still wasn’t right, so I became really nervous, which made my appointments worse. I have seen my family doctor to talk to her about it and I also showed another doctor to get her opinion (both knew me before I had to have surgery, right before my surgery, and now), they both told me it isn’t normal that there is a problem I need to find a doctor to fix. The surgeon told me I was fine and it would fix itself if I gave it time so I have and it hasn’t changed. I still can’t do normal things, like eat a full meal, stand/walk for long periods of time, or wear tighter jeans without major discomfort and swelling. I have to find another plastic surgeon and spend more money to repair it when he should have gone back in to try to repair it, as that is the right thing to do. Most plastic surgeons tell me to call him because it is his job fix it since I paid him, but I told them I have and he unwilling to do anything. I can’t live in discomfort and with swelling for the rest of my life. Maybe if you are young and just need implants he is good, because I know a few females who went to him for implants that are happy, but if you have something more involved I would seek out another surgeon. I felt so bad after my appointments, because I was talked down to so much, I would cry. We know our bodies so if a doctor doesn’t listen, believe what we are saying, or respect you during your appointment you need to find someone who does. If he would have listened and went back in to fix it, maybe I would be normal today but that just didn’t happen. I wasted my time and money with him to now have to find a new surgeon, spend more recovery time, and money to repair what he should have done in the first place. It was the main reason I went to him but it was never fixed. I just want my life back but he doesn’t care. If you are looking for a breast augmentation, I’m sure he is fine, anything else find someone else.

I have seen a few different doctors at Belcara and had amazing experiences with each. Dr. Cohen sewed up my ears when they were stretched, he also removed some piercings from my back and I have minimal scarring with both non-invasive procedures. I was in and out in 30 minutes! I get botox regularly from Kara, she is incredible. Dr. Adler has been my ophthalmologist for several years and I love his professionalism and expertise when it comes to my vision concerns. Dr. Martin handles my yearly dermatologist appointments for mole mapping. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

I recently decided to undergo a face lift and eye lid surgery after several years of going back and forth. I just did not like looking in the mirror anymore. The sad tired face did not remotely match my energy and mental outlook I have for life. I have always been the glass is half full kind of person. I was referred to Dr. Lickstein by a former patient and a former employee. My husband came along for moral support and thought of questions I did not, after our meeting with Dr. Lickstein I was totally comfortable and made a date for surgery. It has been 6 weeks since my surgery, and I am healing extremely well. I wish that I would have done this 5 years ago. The care and attention from Dr. Lickstein, and Missy, one of the nurses, was the best!!. but it does not stop with these two professionals. The entire staff is professional, efficient and very attentive to clients and details. Now the best part, I look at least 10 years younger, great since I will turn 66 this year. my husband ask where his wife was, because he said " there is this young beautiful woman in my kitchen". There was no surprises I was well prepared for the pre-op and post-op, everything was explained in as much detail as I needed. I never once considered I would not be more than 100% happy with the results. My eyes are wide open and expressive, no saggy jowls and skin l hanging from my chin with too many wrinkles to count. I have a bright new rested look. I am considering some attention to my badly sun damaged skin and would highly recommend Dr. Lickstein and the Cosmetic Surgery Center of Maryland for any procedure you are considering. I am soooooooooooo happy!!!!!!!!
