Dr. Banks performed my breast reduction surgery October of 2018 & everything went amazing she did an excellent job my breast look amazing now! She was super nice and friendly and very informative. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. The surgery was scheduled quickly with no problems! I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Banks was simply outstanding! After 3 pregnancies and over 100lbs weight loss. I thought i would be stuck with loose skin for the rest of my life. I went to see her for a consult and after she told me what she could do i was trusting but still didn’t realize how i was going to look. BUT now! I look at myself and can see all the hard work and dedication to healthy lifestyle has achieved. I have a Barbie doll body. Flabby skin around my tummy and thighs are gone! I will wear a bikini his year for the first time! Thank you so much! Your truly a gifted and amazing surgeon ❤️

If I could give her 0 stars I would. Had surgery on my face from a car accident. After surgery she left me in the uncomfortable recovery room for hours because nobody could find her to sign my papers to put me in a room. Also she tied my stitches way to tight in my eyelid causing my eyelashes to always be in my eyel. I went back to her to ask her how this could be fixed she told to see another doctor who basically told me I dont know why she would send you here I can’t help you. So just imagine having eyelashes constantly in your eye everyday. The only other alternatice she said was to have another surgery to open the wound again and restitch LOL DO NOT GO TO HER!!!!!!

Dr. Banks is very gentle with her procedures. Initially i was apprehensive because i had a bad experience with another doctor. I was greeted very pleasantly by her staff and eventually received my services after an in depth consultation about my goals and the actual procedure. I was elated with my Restalyn results immediately and after a few days i was even more impressed with my botox results. Great Doctor and staff.

Dr. Banks performed a breast reduction surgery for me back in December 2012. All I can say is "I don't know why I waited so long to have this procedure done". It has absolutely changed my life! Immediate relief from the chronic back and neck pain that I'd had for more years than I can remember. From my initial visit, I received nothing but exquisite service from Dr. Banks and her staff. I recommend Dr Banks I went into her office worried anxious and she made me feel right at home if you want an office and a doctor that makes you feel comfortable and you can talk to without any worries this is the place to go the staff was very nice I've called the office and couldn't come in and they were very understanding I had my surgery with Dr Banks and it went well I am currently waiting to undergo reconstruction on my right breast and a lift on the left and I can't wait....

I have been a happy patient of Dr. Banks for a number of years now. Most recently I visited her office for a consultation on replacing implants, as one had ruptured and required removal. As in past visits, Dr. Banks staff was welcoming and pleasant, greeting me at the reception desk by name - which adds an awesome personal touch. During the recent visit, Dr. Banks provided a physical exam, explained the upcoming surgery in detail and provided recommendations on the shape/size of the new implants. The day of surgery was no different, with Dr. Banks checking in with me with a smile and making sure I was comfortable and ready for the improved me! I'm 4 weeks post surgery and the results are better than expected! As a BC survivor and after a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction, I am always self conscious about how the implants look with and without clothes. While I was initially hesitant about going with a slightly larger implant per her recommendation, I am so glad that I did. I truly love the end result! Once the implants were in place, Dr. Banks filled out some areas with such skill and precision via fat transfer, and the overall appearance is amazing with/without clothes! Definitely a confidence booster for this survivor!

Do not waste your time going to this doctor. She's a terrible doctor. She hurts people who trust in her to provide needed care. She's a liar. She mutilates women's bodies for her personal gain, and will add to your medical records to cover up wrong doing. It's Not Over with me. It's been six years since she removed a tissue expander from my breast. She left a gaping hole in my chest requiring over six months of specialized wound care. I'm in constant pain and suffer 24 hours because of her inhuman service and misuse of medical privileges. Patient, beware of this plastic surgeon, especially if you're referred by Signature Breast or have breast cancer.

Dr Nia Banks is one of the best plastic surgeons we have in the DMV area. She treat you with care. I would highly recommend Dr. Nia Banks. She and her office staff are professional, yet caring about your fears and concerns. I am a 19 survivor of breast cancer. I have had two unsuccessful reconstructive surgeries and had come to the conclusion that there was no hope for me until I was referred to Dr. Banks by my primary care physician. Well, I had the surgery and I am so freaking proud of my breasts now. Dr. Banks did an amazing job and has made me feel like a woman again. I did not wait for a referral from my pcp. I already knew if I needed to show my medical history it was not difficult to do. I walked into Dr. Banks office with the hopes of having a consultation that would lead to an approval for a breast reduction. My consultation went smoothly and the ball started to roll. A day after my consultation I was phoned with the good news...I was approved!!! To make a long story short, Dr. Banks performed the surgery and I was happy with the results immediately after surgery. I am so thankful for her; she has no idea how much she has changed my life. I was left with a little extra skin on the sides of my breast which is directly under my arm, but being as though I am overweight I expect that to be the case. As I lose weight I know for a fact that would change! Anyone else who may be researching plastic surgeons for a breast reduction, I urge you to stop by her office!!!

The receptionist, staff are friendly and inviting. The lady with whom I set up my appointment with was very knowledgeable. However, I personally did not have a good experience with the physician. I came in for a scheduled "appointment" and waited over an hour to be seen. After sitting in the room for over an hour I grew inpatient and decided to ask how much longer I would have to wait. Again the staff was very responsive; however, the Dr. quickly came out of the room and preceded to say "You can reschedule if you want or if you're in a hurry" for which I responded "I drove from Baltimore so no, I will not reschedule". I was appalled as there was no apology from the physician for having a patient with a previously scheduled appointment wait for over an hour. Additionally, I paid $100 for a consultation that lasted ~ 10 mins (she sounded like she was in a hurry) with a Dr. that lacks bedside manners.
