So HAPPY!!! I am about 6 weeks post breast-augmentation and axillary lipo (armpit/bra fat) and could not be anymore pleased with these results. Dr. Basner and his staff have been absolutely amazing through this whole process. I consulted with several surgeons and the professionalism and personalism of Dr. Basner and his team were top notch. During my extensive research, I came across Dr. Basner's website. I saw that he had great reviews and I decided to schedule a BA consult. Although Dr. Basner and his staff were friendly, I left completely unhappy with my experience. I informed him I am very athletic and do not want to go anywhere near D cup territory, among many other things that would indicate I would like to stay on the smaller side (one of them being having back/ neck problems), and I left with a recommendation for 445 cc implants. Throughout the consult, I felt pressured to go much, much bigger than I was comfortable with and once I was instructed to sit down with the woman in finance, I even felt pressured to book that day with the promise of a discount on other procedures which, rubbed me the wrong way. Long story short, I decided to go with another surgeon and could not be happier! I told him exactly what I told Dr. Basner and ended up with 245 cc implants. I would have been miserable with 445 cc implants and I am so happy I did my research, and I suggest everyone do the same!

It took me so many years to decide to have facial surgery. In a consult with another physician he recommended Dr. Basner for the procedures I was considering. Immediately from making my consult appointment through the office visit, I was enveloped by professionals with a caring disposition. The secretaries scheduled my appointment in super quick time. My procedure was one that I had been looking into for several years. When I came across The Plastic Surgery Center of Maryland, I felt comfortable moving forward in scheduling a consultation with Dr. Basner. The consultation was extremely helpful and informative in regards to answering any questions that I had as well as any that I would not have thought to ask. I didn't feel like I was rushed during the process and both nurse and Dr. gave me their full attention. The process of scheduling the actual surgery was seamless. I was provided with a ton of paperwork and disclaimers, which could have been extremely overwhelming, but Dr. Basner's team basically held my hand throughout the entire process. On the day of my procedure, the team made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The procedure itself took right around an hour and as I was waking up afterwards, my nurse was right there with me, making sure that I felt ok and that everything was as it should be. Something that really stood about this entire experience was the timing of my surgery. My procedure was scheduled the day before Thanksgiving, so I was pleasantly surprised when I received a follow-up call from Dr. Basner on Thanksgiving Day to check-in with me. Since my procedure, my post-op check-in, 1 and 3-month appointments have all been handled at the same level of professionalism as day 1, when I went in for my first consult. I'm now 3 months post-op and have "graduated", as Dr. Basner called it. I no longer need to schedule any check-ins/follow-ups, but Dr. Basner made me very comfortable knowing that if I have any questions, concerns or feel it necessary to come in for a quick appointment, not to hesitate and someone will be ready to see me. I plan to return to The Plastic Surgery Center of MD for future treatments.

Everyone in Dr. Basner's plastic surgery office in Baltimore, MD is fantastic. I went for a consultation for breast augmentation. I have had previous augmentation surgeries. Dr. Basner explained what could be done to get the results that I wanted. He also explained a new procedure called fat grafting. I am a thin framed woman with little natural breast tissue so I had some rippling on the top of my implants. My implants look fantastic and I have never been as pleased as I am until this surgery. Dr Basner is AMAZING!!!! I did a lot of online searching for the perfect plastic surgeon for a breast aug. I actually had a few consults set up with diff doctors to get a feel for who I'd be most comfortable with. I have a close friend who told me that during your consult u really don't see the dr and the assistants walk u through the whole process (diff dr) to my surprise I was greeted by Dr. Basner first and he spent over an hour with me discussing my concerns and answering all of my quests. I knew immediately he'd be the one! Everything he informed me from what to expect, healing wise, etc couldn't be more true. He actually Completely exceeded my expectations and gave me exactly what I wanted, a natural look that fits my body well. His attention to detail and confidence without cockiness shows through and he def knows what he's doing!! Dr. Basner needs to get his license revoked! I am very disappointed with the way he lied when he set expectations for what I can expect from my surgery. He did not deliver on what he proposed during my consult. I suffered terribly after the surgery. Dr. Basner approach is to load his patients down with pain killers instead of trying to understand a patient concerns. Patients don't want to mask the problem with pain medication. We want to know that if you make a mistake, you're committed to making it right without trying to sell us a revision surgery! WHY should I have to pay for another surgery if YOU did not get it right when you had the opportunity?! Some people might have had a good experience but I had a horrible experience. How can any physician take a patient money and know he fell short but run away from the problem instead of trying to correct the problem. Dr. Basner lacks integrity and he does not have a conscious!!!! I trusted you and you let me down!

I really don’t think my experience with Dr. Basner and his staff could have been any more positive and my satisfaction with my results far surpassed expectations. This was the first time I have ever had any cosmetic surgery and figured it would probably be the last, but I can now picture myself considering more in the future and Dr. Basner would be my first consultation. Another factor that sold me on Dr. Basner was that he had several before & after photos of male patients on his website, including ones of the procedure and results I wanted (chin & neck lipo). With all of the other consultations I left feeling like the doctors were almost annoyed that I wasn’t there for a boob job. I got my breast augmentaion with a lift in june 2017, before going to Dr. Basner I had gone to see other plastic surgeons but there results were not great and would tell me to get things I didnt need to and Dr. Basners results looked amazing!!! I made my appointment his staff were so nice and friendly. Dr. Basner did my first surgery in August of 2017. I had a breast augmentation. I was so pleased that I decided to get a Tummy tuck done in April of 2018. Dr. Basner should have his license revoked in cosmetic surgery. He messed my nose up bad. He will pay a company to take down poor reviews as well. Check regularly and keep reposting! I had to have a revision rhinoplasty done and suffered greatly emotionally due to his poor surgery. He cut my alar cartilage in half and did not even fix my deviated septum he charged my insurance for. He’s a crook. Do not let him talk you into a rhinoplasty! You will be sorry.

Who could possibly say "I loved the experience" when it pertains to pain and plastic surgery? I can. I had recent extensive and intense procedures performed by Dr. Basner at his Lutherville location. From the beginning, the consult with Dr. Basner was so informational and complete, the staff was so accommodating and no one made me feel self-conscious. I had experienced a large weight loss and needed several procedures to tidy up terribly sagging skin in my tummy, legs, arms, neck, eyelids and back. This was all very new to me and it felt surreal as I allowed by wrinkled body to be photographed and marked and planned for the surgery. Would I even go through with it? I didn't know after I left the office and thought about the recovery and the money. Surgery day came and the staff, as usual, made me comfortable and reassured. The recovery was tough. But each day, I could see the improvements in my appearance. I suddenly got excited for the final results and got very impatient! I am now 20 weeks post surgery and can see clearly what I had hoped to see - great work by Dr. Basner, great results and no regrets! Everything the good doc had told me to expect, happened. Dr Basner did my surgery October 28,2018 that was six months ago. I had a tummy tuck done with lipo to the sides and back. He did a good job on my tummy tuck but my upper back still have fat on it. I’m very upset because I paid my money for something he didn’t do. Like I look crazy my lower back is small and my top is big. I sent picture of my back to my other surgeon in Miami. That I wish I should’ve went to the reason I didn’t go to him because I couldn’t go out of town at the time. He told my that it don’t look like he did my upper back and that give it to August to be sure it not swelled up. So at this time I been working out hard to correct what he didn’t do. By August if I don’t see a difference I will go to Miami so my doctor can get it right.

I gave myself the gift of a facelift when I turned 65. A friend had been to Dr. Basner and was pleased at how natural she looked afterward. He was clear that he would not overdo it and make me looked stretched out. (Using my husbands gmail account to write this review) I chose dr basner to do my rhinoplasty because of his extensive work he's done on people with my same nose. When I went in for my consultation, I was met by extremely nice staff and waited only a few minutes before being taken back to a room. The examination room was clean and had a chair for my husband to sit in too. Dr basner came in shortly to greet us and took the time to explain everything and anything that went into the process of achieving a nose that would fit me. He explained that he goes for natural and shapes that he sees fit for each individual person. He let me go through his portfolio and see all his work as well. I felt that I was in great hands and some of my anxiety went away knowing that he's done this plenty of times to really know what he's doing. Surgery went amazing, his staff and nurses made sure I was as comfortable as I could be. They calmed my nerves and before I knew it, it was over. Dr. Basner has done several reconstructive surgeries on my face due to recurrent melanomas which required extensive excision to remove . He has done a fine job on all, leaving only slight scarring easily covered by a light makeup. Every doctor I have seen since (dermatologists, internists) have been uniform in respect for his skill. Dr.Basner is very pleasant to deal with and very clear about what his surgery will entail and what outcome to expect. I went for consultations in 3 different states in addition to searching the web for facial plastic surgeons before I found Dr. Basner in Baltimore Maryland.The photos of his results impressed me more than any others as did his manner and intuitive knowledge of what I needed.
