The people at Dr Benson's are the best. Dr B and Dr M are good doctors. The PA's and assistants and office staff know how to make a nervous patient feel at ease. It's unfortunate that I've had to visit them about four times this year, but I feel very fortunate to have a great team there when I need them. They have it all. The medical part of the practice is excellent. The business people are professional and courteous. They make me feel like a guest while I am being a patient. A+ rating from me!

The doctor took it upon herself to administer filler where she deemed necessary and when I didn't like the results she lied and stated filler wasn't injected in those areas. I went to another doctor who said the filler is there and was horribly administered. She still refuses to dissolve the filler. Do NOT use this office!

I have grown weary of clinics that give u a diagnosis of maybe or could be, and just give you a prescription and say come on back if you have another episode....Done with those types of bad practices!!!! Benson was the 3rd place in 6 months and I quickly saw that I wasn't going to have a fast conversation and a prescription. Susan and her staff were very caring and concerned of the out breaks and started tests to find out what's going on. A totally different prognosis which made me feel that I finally found someone that is taking the time to help me get better. Thank you all for making me feel like I'm in good hands finally.

My daughter went in for bald spots in her head. The lady who saw here barely even looked at it and said it was a scalp fungus. She prescribed meds and shampoo. We used this stuff for months and her spots got bigger. I finally took her to a specialist in New Orleans and they said it showed no signs of being a fungus and it was definitely Alopecia Areata! Money on meds gone down the drain all because this lady rushed us out! The specialist also sent her to have blood work done to figure out why this has happened and they found her Thyroids to be abnormal! So I’m grateful I trusted my parental instinct to get a second opinion!

I actually took my 3 year old to the Walker location and they are AMAZING! Our wait in the waiting room was really short, the staff was very friendly and the nurse, Jenna and Dr April Sanchez took time and patience with my 3 year old and her fears. I first saw Dr Benson about 18 months ago for what I thought was a simple fungal infection. He immediately saw that what I had was something more serious and he ordered a biopsy. From his first observation of my skin he felt I probably had Morphea, a form of Scleroderma. We also found from the blood work he ordered that I could have a serious autoimmune disease called Primary Biliary Cirrhosis. Thanks to his quick diagnosis, I was able to begin a journey to discover that I have Multiple Autoimmune Syndrome and have several autoimmune diseases. I have since learned how often the skin disease I have is misdiagnosed for years leading to treatment errors and worry and frustration for patients. I feel so lucky that I began my journey with Dr Benson. His ability to diagnose a very rare skin condition has enabled me to get the treatment I needed for my other autoimmune diseases. I can never thank him enough and would recommend Benson Dermatology to anyone who needs a dermatologist.

My only concern is that the lab they sent the cyst to is not in my network and I thought I read on the paper they would use a lab that my Ins is comfortable with. I highly recommend Benson Dermatology in Ponchatoula, I saw Dr. McDaniel who made me feel very comfortable and has a wonderful personality. I procrastinated going to the doctor after thinking I was bitten by a spider, months had past and it had not healed. I googled possibilities and made an appointment; I was pretty shaken up thinking I had a serious problem. I hate going to the doctor about anything, but as soon as I walked in the atmosphere was not like the normal doctors office. It was comfortable and relaxing, almost like I had walked into someones home. The receptionist was so sweet and had my information entered in the computer within minutes. I didn't wait long at all and everyone I encountered there were so friendly. Needless to say, It was not serious and she had me laughing and smiling. I knew I was in good hands there and after this experience, I am never going to procrastinate my health any longer. Dr. McDaniels is my dermatologist and I would reccommend her to all of my friends, family, and you!

Let me tell you Dr Benson used a procedure called VOBELLA around my lips. OMG! Immediate results. My husband noticed as soon as he saw me. Maybe a 15 minute procedure but oh so worth it!
