Worst possible experience ever!!! I wouldn't recommend Dr. Noel to anyone! He was unnecessarily rude, did not review my chart/know anything of my (30 year running) pre-cancerous history & seemed completely uninterested in helping me. *A few things he actually said upon meeting me to keep this brief: ~After showing him the spots on my face: "What do you want me to do? I can take them off for you but you're going to have a scar. I'll only do one or two places for you, I will not be your new mole doctor." ~Asking where the other places were when I was not given a gown or asked to undress: "Could you have worn anything worse today?" (Side note, I was wearing yoga pants & a t-shirt assuming I'd be instructed to strip down upon arrival.) ~After multiple comments about how badly I was going to scar, I said "so isn't that why I was sent to a plastic surgeon?" His reply, "if you've had over 70 places removed I'm sure she sent you here because she doesn't want to mess with you anymore. So what do you want to do?" My reply, "I want to get dressed & get another opinion, your bedside manner stinks & you're rude!" He was a real jerk!

I have been a patient of Dr. Noel's for two years now. I am a breast cancer survivor. He has done all of my reconstruction. You will not be disappointed with his work! Dr. Noel is a perfectionist with his work and it shows. I love that it's a small office, too. I saw him every time I was there, whether it was a simple task like filling my tissue expander or a major task like planning for surgery. He does it all himself, even including the tattoo for the color on the nipple he constructed for me! I couldn't have possibly had a better experience. I recommend Dr. Noel to all of my friends and family. If my daughter needed work done, I would take her to Dr. Noel.

After having a previous surgery botched- I was scared about having any breast procedure re-done. I was referred by my OB/GYN to call Dr. Thomas Noel. It was the BEST decision I have ever made! Dr. Noel is a honest physician that shoots from the hip. An absolute perfectionist, where his patients are his top priority! Truly a gifted artist! He took his time explaining my bilateral breast reduction, mini abdominoplasty with liposuction. Seldom do you find a doctor that cares, makes you feel safe, but Dr. Noel does just that! He exceeded all of my expectations. I can’t say enough about Dr. Noel- he’s skilled, compassionate and the BEST! I will never go anywhere else! This past May, Dr.Noel performed a breast reduction on me. I am 19 years old, 5’4” and my bra size was 34H. I was miserable with my appearance and experiencing a lot of back pain. Still, I was worried that if I went in for a consultation the surgeon would tell me I just needed to try harder to lose weight. Dr.Noel and all of the ladies working in his office were so validating. They made me and my mother feel welcome and listened to our concerns with patience, understanding and sympathy. Dr.Noel was always matter-of-fact, which I felt spoke to his competence. The morning of my surgery I was a little nervous but his confidence put me at ease. All of the nurses prepping me for surgery gushed about Dr.Noel’s work saying, “He’s an artist.” I must say, I agree. He did a BEAUTIFUL job with my breasts; his attention to detail is incredible! I am now a 34C/D. I cannot put into words how much my life has improved since this surgery. I no longer have back pain and I am proud of my body—I feel ready to take on the world! Dr.Noel truly is an artist. I cannot recommend him and the people working with him highly enough!

Amazing experience! It was a hard decision to go through with a breast reduction at 18 but he made it so worth it. Not only was his staff incredibly friendly, they helped and fought for us to get insurance to cover my surgery. Many times the scheduling nurse called the insurance company to check on the process. They made a normally drawn out process very short. Consult was July 8 and I was having my surgery August 1. On surgery day he made sure I was extremely comfortable, prescribing multiple medications to ease anxiety and help with pain after the surgery. He gets up really early to check on his patients before going into work. He’s very casual and professional so it was easy to feel comfortable in his hands. He goes above and beyond to ensure the safety, comfort and overall success of his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I’d say he’s the “best with breasts” in Louisville!!!

The decision to move forward with breast reduction surgery is not an easy one. I went back and forth for years trying to decide what is best for me. I had no idea what surgeon to choose, or even what to look for in a surgeon. When I started asking around and doing research, Dr. Noel came up again and again. "Best in Louisville" was a popular phrase in describing him and his practice. A family friend, who is a general surgeon himself, recommended Dr. Noel as well. Surgeon to surgeon is about the best recommendation one could have in my opinion. Dr. Noel made me feel comfortable and answered all my worrisome questions. Being only 24 years old, it was going to be a big decision for me. It has turned out to be the best decisions of my life. I have never felt as beautiful and confident as I do now. My scars are beautiful. I couldn't have asked for anything better. They have healed so nicely I honestly hardly notice them. Dr. Noel is a well respected, intelligent, and talented man. I am so thankful I was able to have such a wonderful plastic surgeon to honestly change my life. All the staff were so helpful and caring through the whole process. Not to mention Baptist Hospital is a beautiful, clean facility. I felt like I was staying in a hotel. 100% recommend Dr. Noel to my friends, family, and anyone considering plastic surgery. He does beautiful work and I couldn't be more pleased. So so happy with my entire experience. Thank you Dr. Noel.

Dr. Noel was recommended to me by my sister who had gone through a complete mastectomy and very successful reconstruction at the age of 37 in 2008 or 2009. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer this year at age 53, I knew I wanted to use the same surgeon. Dr. Noel is very straight forward and direct in counseling patients prior to surgery. He may tell you things that you might not want to hear but it is because he wants the outcome to be successful. My mastectomy was in January of 2018 and I just completed the reconstruction process. The staff in his office are wonderful. I am extremely pleased with my outcome and highly recommend Dr. Noel.
