Dr. Franks is by far the best in the business and I would highly recommend him and his staff. He cares and actually makes you feel comfortable in talking about any questions you may have about a procedure. Before, during, and after a procedure you get the best care you could imagine from Dr. Franks and Erin! They are truly awesome!

Horrible! Going into surgery I was treated like a queen. After surgery I had many concerns that were not answered after multiple visits eventually I gave up. A year later I hate my surgery and I feel like I look worse now than what I did before. I had a breast augmentation and I feel it is the complete opposite from what I asked for. Any issues I tried addressing directly after the surgery were never asked they beat around the bush and never made time nore did they make me feel important. I feel like I was reeled in like a fish and after they got my money they gutted me and ate me for dinner.

He aligns with a boutique style hospital for surgery outside the area that is customer services focused and helps ensure discretion and privacy. (It's about 1.5 hours from Des Moines). Dr. Franks has a very friendly, professional and timely team and I can not say enough good things about his bedside manner. I felt like I was their only patient. They never rushed through any of our appointments, answered ALL my questions and did house calls after surgery where he answered all of my families concerns. I ABSOLUTELY know you get what you pay for and from the moment I stepped inside Dr. Franks office, (who had come highly recommended from a very picky hard to please and affluent friend) he's the doctor for me. I believe if I am trusting a doctor with my life and to do work on my body price is NOT the first concern. Initially I wanted a lower body lift AND a breast lift and Dr. Franks explained while many doctors perform both surgeries - he has found because it requires pulling in opposite directions, it's best to choose one and let you body heal and do the other at a later time. He was the ONLY doctor who took the time to explain why this is so important and showed me the long term benefits of waiting. I also enjoyed feeling he took genuine concern and care (so did every person on his team) about making sure I was educated and well informed of the process. SIDE NOTE I learned they was help low income breast cancer survivors, children with cleft lips and cranial reconstruction. If I am aligning myself, trusting my life and care, I truly appreciate that we have similar values. Dr. Franks is the best so his schedule fills up months in advance, I had the ability to schedule my surgery (with a very minimal deposit) to secure the date of MY choice knowing I could easily change or cancel at any time. I didn't hesitate to schedule my surgery 3 months out. From pre-op to the post op visit (in my home no less) THIS DOCTOR and his team of professionals are the best - nothing less than a miracle maker if you get to see my before and afters! I have nothing but wonderful good things to say about his work, his dedication and I personally noted the long hours he commits once you're committed to him. The transformation he made possible on my body has been nothing short of miraculous! I don't have to tell anyone how easy it is to gain and then try to lose weight after menopause. I've gone to two other plastic surgeons in the Des Moines area for consult and left very discouraged I felt like a number. Then I met dr. Frank's Erin and Janae....my life changed, I just had a little bit of fat sucked out in the front little bit sucked out in the back and Wallah. My confidence increased tenfold along with my self-esteem I was no longer afraid to look at myself in the mirror or have my husband see me without my clothes on

5 stars is not enough to give Dr. Franks. 10 years ago my oldest child was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate and we were referred to him by the hospital. At the time we had no idea of what to expect or not considering this was my wife and I first child. Dr Franks took the time to explain all that was involved all that would possibly need to be done for my child to have the best foot forward. I can go on on about the many visits we have had in both the clinic, his office and the hospital for that matter, where we did not feel as if we were a number to him he truly cares for his patients and will take the time to answer ALL of your questions. This is one Doctor we do not want loose he is that good at what we does and more. Words cannot begin to describe Dr. Franks we are truly blest to have our child seen by him.

Dr. Franks is awesome and so underrated. I had my surgery 2 weeks ago and already my results are just what I wanted. He spends time with each and everyone of his patients and he visited me personally throughout my recovery to make sure I was okay. Any issues or concerns I had throughout my recovery he addressed. The nurse team and anesthesiologist made me feel like family. I wish he had social media so he can get more exposure, but when you meet him you can tell that all the gimmicks are not him he is 100% professional. I can’t wait to see what my 3 months post op will look like after swelling. Finally I got the shape I always wanted.

Dr frank he makes your body for you and when he said aggressive lip believe him lol....After surgery dr frank rebecca bonnie they called to make sure I was ok... they even answer a question while they in were in church. I couldnt be happier great staff great doctor.

As of today I am only 5 days post-op, but I can see that my results are already past what I thought they would be. Dr. Franks, Lilyiana, Bonnie and Rebecca are an AMAZING team that made me feel safe and secure in my decision. One of the worst decisions I've ever made in life. Photos are on my page I believe you can't access them on a review. I was hesitant on sharing my traumatic experience but after reviewing the most recent comments I can assure you that he most likely emailed everyone and asked for a positive review because someone finally said the truth In August of 2017, I had a breast augmentation and tummy tuck done by Dr. Franks. After losing 87 lbs. with diet and exercise I was determined to get my body back. I had extra skin and flattened breast from fat loss. During my consultation everything seemed wonderful, I was treated like a queen and Dr. Franks seemed very knowledgeable and wanted to perform this procedure. I left the size up to Dr. Franks for the implants because I was unsure of what size was appropriate and figured he would know best. Aiming for around a D cup. I scheduled my appointment and had plans on returning to get a bra lift on my back in a few months after my initial surgery. I should have known from the minute I arrived for my surgery something was off. While in the payment room Dr. Franks asked a question regarding surgery on a different place on my body. His assistant quickly corrected him and I was uneasy from there on. They gave me some medicine to ease my nerves. The surgery was long and when I woke up I had two ENORMOUS breast. (They are now DDD) About two weeks into recovery I was swollen on one of my breast only. It was itchy and had a severe rash. I rushed to Dr. Franks was assured it was normal and this was seroma fluid buildup. I went through three rounds of antibiotics and still had major draining. I went under again for a procedure to try and remove the fluid internally and not just having my wound sliced and drained. Two months forward I had been receiving weekly draining from my breast. About 250-300 ccs each time! Eventually the breast started to die. And this is where I had the big problem with this whole thing. I had been visiting and sending Dr. Franks and his assistant pictures every few days. Kept being reassured it was fine that the skin wasn’t dying…It got so bad I was rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night. My skin was turning necrotic and I kept vomiting for 48 hours straight. My body felt like it was shutting down. The doctor in the ER at Novant told me that this was necrotic skin and called Dr. Franks. At 7 am the next morning I arrived to Dr. Franks and was told that there might be a possibility that the implant was not sterile upon entering my body. But this was a manufacturing issue not his. And there was no infection just seroma fluid still… Disregaurding what the hospitlal report had stated. I have never been so upset in one moment. I had emergency removal of my left implant for two months to let it heal. When I went back to have it put in January 2018, I was not pleased with my tummy tuck. The new area pocketed to a pooch and I hadn’t even tried to complain about that becauseof the previous life threatening situation. I finally had had it at this point and told Dr. Franks that I wasn’t happy. This man looked at me and asked, “ Have you ever tried losing the weight yourself?” I cannot make this up. I had post weight loss surgery and this man couldn’t even remember who was which patient. The money I set aside to have my back surgery was used for the MONTHS I missed from work. I was let go from my job for missing so much work. Even with a doctor’s note they needed people and I was a liability at that point. I have been severely depressed for months. I’ve gained back weight for being out of the gym for months and losing all motivation. I was so healthy and happy prior to this experience and the bed side manner of this whole office is just horrendous. Please please please. SAVE YOUR MONEY. This cost me 12,000 dollars and I have lost so much more than that. P.S. My incisions are still bleed from my tummy tuck.
