From the moment I walked in for my visit I felt so welcomed by Dina and the rest of the office staff. Got a rhinoplasty in 2017 and I was interested in purchasing their pore mask. Went into the office to purchase the mask and asked for the expiration date on the product since I couldn’t see it on the packaging or the bottle. Waited 40 minutes until I decided I didn’t feel safe using a skin product whose expiration date was unknown of and seemed difficult to attain. Ladies: always ask for the expiration dates on any product you purchase, ESPECIALLY IF YOURE USING IT ON YOUR FACE! this place has no business selling products if they don’t have something so simply as an expiration date for the consumer!

First of all, I never ever write reviews, but I have had the MOST WONDERFUL experience with the Liposuction and Cosmetic Surgery Institute. I felt compelled to share my experience. After losing 160lbs., I had a lot of loose skin on my arms that really bothered me. I heard one of their advertisements on the radio for a laser therapy treatment to treat fat. On a whim, I decided to make a consultation and see if this is something that would help me. From the moment I walked in the door, I knew I was in the right place. I was greeted by Lillian, who was warm, gracious, and made me feel extremely comfortable. It turns out, that the laser treatment was not a good option for me. However, I appreciated that they were extremely honest with me. They could have just taken my money, but instead they recommended other options and were very clear about the results that I could expect. I decided to go with a brachioplasty procedure to surgically remove the excess skin. I had multiple consultations, and they were very patient with me, because I had a lot of questions and was very nervous. Dr. Mameniskis, my surgeon, was amazing at answering my questions and showing me photos of other patients who had had the same surgery. Lillian gave me her personal cell phone number and responded immediately anytime I would reach out with a question. Where else do you find a service like that? I work in customer service and I can tell you that this is definitely not the norm. On the day of my surgery, Amanda my nurse was so friendly and nice and made me feel super comfortable and the anesthesiologist was awesome as well. Let me tell you, I am 10 days out post surgery and I absolutely could not be happier with my results. And the bandages are still on! I know for sure that I made the best decision by choosing the Liposuction and Cosmetic Surgery Institute and I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you Dr. Mameniskis, Lillian, and the entire team!

Terrible. The office is a mess and when I went in to ask for what I specifically wanted (skin procedure) the doctor did not do it and thought something else would be better. I saw no results and was conned into buying his product. Spent $800 dollars for nothing and I had waited a long time to get this done. The doctor did not listen to me and ultimately I ended up very upset upon leaving. Don't let them rip you off!

Apparently the location in Oak Brook doesn’t like to stay open during their online posted hours. I drove all the way out to this location and they were closed two hours before they were supposed to be. I even called the day before to ask what their hours were the next day. what a waste of time

My Review: Dr. Al and the Staff at The Liposuction and Cosmetic Surgery Institute I had a breast augmentation (revision) with lift and liposuction on my abdomen and iliacs. From the beginning, I was nervous for the procedure because I knew it would be more scarring than I had from my previous augmentation from another doctor 10 years prior, but Dr. Al Mameniskis and the staff at the Liposuction and Cosmetic Surgery Institute put me at ease. Dr. Al is very skilled, knowledgeable and no-nonsense...and so is his staff. You don't want "fluff" when you're getting major surgery done. You wants answers and results. My first meeting was with Lillian, a consultant for procedures, discusses your goals, your fears and plans your experience WITH you. You definitely don't feel alone. She's honest as well, which is a HUGE factor in your plastic surgery experience. Lillian's also easy to reach her on her cell phone or at work and she is beyond friendly. In addition, she took me step by step through what I'd expect; from pre-op, to medications and care, and then post-op as well. And if she wasn't available, which was rare, Piera (another consultant) was amazing. I actually had a "freak out" day worrying about if I was going to the correct size implant and worrying about the scars, and Piera immediately pulled me in the back and we sat down to go over everything again....COMPLETELY calming me down and putting things in perspective. I can't thank her enough for taking the time to do that and realizing I needed a friend. Day before surgery, Lillian called with instructions and was very thorough on what to do and what to expect. Day of surgery, Amanda, one nurse on staff, took me through the prep and again, made me feel so comfortable with this process. She also had a great sense of humor and believe me, that helps! Dr. Al also came in to go over everything once more and I was ready to go. After surgery, both Amanda and another nurse, Chelsea, were SO HELPFUL and understanding. In recovery, I was comfortable and very attended to by the staff. I had both a girdle on and the surgical bra immediately following the procedure in recovery and the pain wasn't as bad as the stiffness. I was prepared with meds for all of that. This surgery is not something to be taken lightly and I recommend drinking as much water as your body will allow because the pain meds will dehydrate you. Both Chelsea and Amanda went through what to expect once I got home and looked in the mirror, which is a key element so I wasn't afraid or panicked to see my post-surgery coverings. In the following days of post-op follow ups, the staff and Dr. Al continued to be understanding and patient through my pain, as well as friendly and very positive. Also, the ultrasound for the lipo was intense, but again, the skilled staff addressed my reactions and were attentive beyond belief. With an amazingly skilled surgeon like Dr. Al Mameniskis and a staff that truly supports the entire process, I completely recommend getting your lift, aug or lipo done at the Liposuction and Cosmetic Surgery Institute! I'm now about 5 weeks post-op and feel great. My chest and stomach look AMAZING and I couldn't be happier with the results! RECOMMEND!

Recently I have decided enough was enough. As I aged no one told me I was smart though apparently, was attractive.I am almost 50 and I can’t shed the fat where it’s not wanted. Not ever being an "athletic type" except for some long walks or random laps in a pool, it simply does not suffice thinking workouts alone will make the expected difference. My story is not traditional at all. I was consulted by Dr. Roman Voytsekhovskiy in May of 2011. I can still remember our first meeting. I felt awkward not because he made me feel that way but because of my own insecurities. I remember how comfortable he made me feel. He has a humble heart and an honest way of delivering you the information. He didn’t pressure me to decide that day but gave me a real honest opinion that I needed to hear. My insecurities with having a breast augmentation came from what others made me feel of this decision. I was so catch up with how the world would perceive me if I decided to alter my body. I came back to the Arlington Heights site for cool sculpting on my back, which didn't work and they charged super expensive. Besides, the people at the front desk are not friendly, especially the older woman that is always there. I decided not to come back for those two reasons.

I received the saline implants procedure at the Liposuction and Cosmetic Surgery Institute. At first, I did not know what to expect but they were very nice and informative in answering my questions. I came out of surgery pretty quickly. I would have liked lower doses of painkillers for a longer period of time, as opposed to higher doses for a shorter period of time, but that's just a preference. I love them and I wish I would have had this done eight years ago.

my name is Tiffany. this is my husbands account first i would like to start my review by saying every single person that i came into contact with and worked with was kind and understanding and very welcoming!!! 100% i was so nervous and a little embarrassed to be there but after my first consultation i felt more understood and confident that my choice to have my procedure was a good choice.... that all being said i had Liposuction on my stomach and sides, and i could not be happier with my results so far and my recovery,,, now i sill have a ways to go but i'm already 20# down and still counting... this was not a fix all solution however i have had to make life changing strategies for weight loss and with the help of my amazing nurse Lilian who answered all of my questions and gave me support it was easier. Dr. T who is a no nonsense kind of person laid everything out for me, and you know i was a little intimidated by him at first but he was soo knowledgeable and explained the procedure in full and i really appreciated that cause as a top surgeon he see and works on so many so he really knew what would work for me..... and it worked!!! im so happy with everything so far with my results and surgery and just everything... i will defiantly and return if i need anything else and i have and will continue to recommend this facility and its sister locations to everyone that i meet!!

They might do decent work, but they'll charge you 4X the price and they're absolutely the rudest. The girls who answer the phones are short, never wait for you to finish a sentence, and always hang up on you without saying Thank you, bye, or any other salutation. They give attitudes when you ask even the smallest questions. The prices are incredibly overpriced for what you're receiving and compared to other offices. I do not recommend this office.Go to a different office and get your money's worth, and be treated respectfully.

I got botox at that place only to end up with some uneven raise area above my eybrow which made me look like the devil. I went back so that the doctor can tell me it's all in my head (soo professional) he suggested I pay more and get more botox to make that raised area go away i regret it and they never clean the area prior to the injection and when I pay cash I had to wait around for change!! Hlf tje staff wasn't very friendly which is odd as I was a new patient for them

Gave me the injections and sent me on my way. It was not worth the money and I wouldn’t go there again to get this treatment . Hi, my story is not that different from the others, but I'm sharing it because it offers me a lot of help to be able to read how other people experienced their rhinoplasty. My nose has always bothered me, it literally prevents me from being happy. It feels, to me, as if wherever I go, whoever I meet, people always see my nose first. As if I can hear them thinking how big it is. I know this isn't how everybody thinks about me, but that's how unhappy and insecure it makes me feel. I have wanted a nose job ever since I was a little girl. My parents were ready to pay for it at any time knowing how unhappy I was with my nose but I never went through with it because of how scared I was. Finally I decided to go for my very first consultation with Dr. Algird Mameniskis. I had the consultation on a Friday got my nose done 3 days later that Monday. I was honestly so fed up with peoples comments on it. The recovery went really well not as bad as I thought it would be. I didn't bruise as much and I wasn't really in pain either. I was doing normal stuff around the house the very next day after my surgery. Two weeks later I got my cast taken off and I went out that night to celebrate with my girlfriends. By then I had absolutely no bruising. Everything went so well. I'm so happy with it now, my friends and family love it as well. I also feel so much more beautiful now and I feel like people can't judge me or make comments on it anymore. I'm so confident now. Great experience, I couldn't be happier.
