Within minutes of entering Dr. Gallagher' office I felt at ease. Her empathy and caring nature were evident to me. Her warmth of personality and charming character made it easy for me to talk to her. She listened to me and took the time to answer all my questions clearly. I felt confident throughout my treatment. The results of my surgery left me in no doubt that Dr. Gallagher is a very talented surgeon. In my experience she is one of the most gifted doctors I have ever met. They were very knowledgeable and helped me every step of the way; from my nerves, to help me set up for using my insurance, they 100% made me feel very comfortable through the whole process! I thousand percent recommend Dr. Gallagher and her team at IU health. If I had to nitpick/complain I am trying to reschedule a revision. (Due to my healing process...not to Dr Gallagher’s doing) It’s been almost 11 weeks and I haven’t heard back. I do know that they are incredibly busy and work extremely hard. If you seem to find yourself waiting some time, Just be patient! I promise her work and her professionalism is worth the wait. Plus her accent is nothing short of AMAZING!

Professionalism without compassion amounts to a box void of content. In the cookie-cutter world we live in, finding a company, team, or individual with both of those traits is not only rare, it's almost impossible. I found that gem in Dr. Sidhbh Gallagher and her team at IU Health University Hospital. Surgery is a traumatic experience, in and of itself. Failure to treat those patients with the utmost of compassion and empathy will only worsen that trauma. That was never an issue during my procedure and the stay associated with it. From initial consultation to the recuperation process, the good doctor and her team went above and beyond in meeting those expectations. The choices that affect our lives the most, regardless of how much research we may put into them, can be destroyed with the wrong words or actions. That was never a concern for me and I am so grateful and thankful for that. Thank you, Dr. Gallagher, for giving me a second chance in life. Life is meant to be lived. I plan on living a very long and satisfying one.❤

My doctor referred me to them last year beginning of the month of August I filled out the request form to see the doctor and all I got an email after that then it’s a waiting list for up to 6 months and they get back to me in January 2019. I once received that email I was talking to Dr Gallagher assistant name of Emma sent me papers to fill out and insurance I did all that even sent my letter from my doctor that was an requirement I did everything right and they received everything they needed. Here it is October and it’s been completely silent I been calling constantly to as least have an understanding of what went wrong I call and they always say I call back or will request your message to someone that can help and never did I even asked to talk to the head directer to let him/her know that none of the employees there are helpful seemed very careless about getting someone’s procedures done

First off I just want to say how grateful I am for Dr. Gallagher and all of her staff. I was treated with the most kindness I’ve ever had, from Dr. Gallagher herself, her Assistant and every nurse and staff member in that hospital that helped take care of me. ________________________ I hate trying to start off with writing reviews, so I’m just going to jump right into it. Pros: -Excellent staff. They were all very personable and started to feel like friends. -Doctors and Nurses made absolutely sure my pain was tolerable, from making sure my pain meds were on time, to ordering special equipment to make things less scary and less painful. -Nurses are quick to respond when called upon. I never had to wait more than a minute for them to show up. -Dr. Gallagher personally comes in to check on you several times. Also on a side note, her accent is absolutely fantastic :p. -The staff never pushes you to do anything you aren’t ready for. If you don’t want to try and walk yet, no problem. If you feel like you aren’t quite ready to leave to hospital, not a problem. It’s all up to you on how you feel. -The follow up with Dr. Gallagher was very sweet. She got me a card (which made me cry) that her and her staff signed telling me to get well. ______________________ Cons: The only thing I can say that I didn’t care for during my stay, would have to be a nitpick. The bed. The beds that they have aren’t the most comfortable things in the world. I think if they just switched out the top layer with something softer yet a tad bit firm, it would be heaven. But, what they have gets the job done and it probably didn’t help me that I have a bad tailbone, so this may just be my problem haha. ______________________ And there you have it. My surgery went great. Everyone was kind, sweet and caring. You didn’t feel like just another patient. You feel like you are their number one priority. Trying to put into words how much I respect and recommend Dr. Sidhbh Gallagher is just to difficult to do. Trust me, she is an incredible surgeon and an incredible person. I’m thankful to have met her and she has helped me close a chapter of my life and at the same time, she has helped me start the next one. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart and the deepest of respects and gratitude. I’m eternally grateful!

Tl;dr: Told me they accept my insurance when they apparently don"t, then left me sitting for months withouta reply to my request for an update on the process regarding my paperwork. I contacted this surgeon because she's close and supposedly specializes in the particular procedure I need (apparently not many do). I contacted them 3 months ago and filled in the forms they told me to. I contacted Ghallagher after a while of not hearing back, and was told that they do accept my insurance, and that it takes as long as 6 weeks to process. The initial contact (forms) was 3 months ago. I had contacted her through FB for an update about a month ago; that message was seen but not replied to. I called today and the desk clerk places me on hold and goes to check, then first tells me that my insurance rejected the request. When I informed her that I already know my insurance WILL cover the procedure, the clerk places me on hold again, and now the story is that they actually don't accept my insurance. Highly unprofessional, given their utter lack of communication.

Dr. Sidhbh Gallagher is likely one of the most caring and talented surgeons you will ever meet. She may be young but keeps up to date with scientific research in her field and is active in teaching plastic surgeon residents as well as bringing her very needed talent to the Indianapolis area. She offers a wide variety of GA surgeries and also some non-surgical techniques. I have met and talked to a few of her previous clients and all loved her as their surgeon and have continued to be in contact with her on her IG community. She keeps her followers Informed of what she is doing. She also includes knowledge about newer techniques with improved outcomes. On Tuesday, I was one of her patients and all went perfectly well and I was able to go home a day earlier than predicted. I am still recovering t=day 4 Dr. Gallagher has a tremendous amount of information available online. Take the time to watch the videos and read up so you are well informed. The process of submission to be a patient requires a lot of information pre and post consultation. If possible have letters available as soon as possible if that will be required. Since every insurance company has different requirements make sure you know what is needed. Most delays are with insurance even if you know you are covered. On day of surgery Dr Gallagher met me just prior and asked if I had any last minute questions. I was very well informed prior and during the consultation process and from messages from Emma, Dr. Gallagher's GA Assistant and from the pre-surgical testing. What I needed was a hug which I got
