Hi, 6 months ago I had a tummy tuck and I'm so thrilled and thankful I wanted to share... I've had 2 surgeries by Dr. Platis and I look amazing!! I had a breast lift in 2012 and a tummy tuck in 2015. Both with perfect results! I have worked with Dr's for 28 years and Dr. Platis was referred to me by my gynecologist. When I first met Dr. Platis I knew he was honest, sincere and his work was well known. Dr. Platis makes you feel very comfortable. Since the tummy tuck I have more self-confidence, energy, I'm healthier and I feel sexy again! I feel like a new person! I would truly recommend this procedure to anyone who is considering a tummy tuck. I wish every woman who needs this procedure could have it. I'm so thrilled with the results! For the past 13 years, I have been very disheartened with the size of my breasts. I am a 32 year old, naturally curvaceous woman but my breasts were a size 32A. I didn’t know anyone that had personally received cosmetic surgery from Dr. Platis. However, after thorough research via the internet and a recommendation from my gynecologist, I decided he was the optimal choice. It was obvious from the consultation Dr. Platis has deeply refined his craft. He listened to my desires, communicated his thoughts and answered all of my questions but did not pressure me to proceed with any surgery. I never felt rushed to make a decision but rather part of the decision-making. After my breast augmentation, I received a phone call from Dr. Platis. He was prepared to take charge and handle any problem that had arisen from the surgery. Thankfully, it was a very smooth recovery. The pain was minimal and no issues arose from the procedure. My breast now fit my body perfectly. Everyone states you can’t tell they aren’t my natural breast. The size, shape and feel of the breast are gorgeous. The staff was absolutely amazing as well. The office ran smoothly and took excellent care of me. They were kind and answered any additional questions or concerns that I had throughout the process. I can’t praise Dr. Platis enough. If you are hesitant, I implore you to set up a consultation with him. All of your concerns will instantly vanish.

Dr. Platis did my breast surgery about 15 years ago, I just recently returned for a tummy tuck and lipo and I look fantastic. I am so happy to have found Dr. Platis. If you want exceptional results and a Dr that is phenomenal, then you need to see Dr Platis. I was extremely nervous about having a “boob job.” But it was time. I had 2 kids, years of yo-yoing with my weight and an illness that caused me to balloon up and down in weight in a short time, really had taken its toll on my breasts. When I laid down my breasts no longer stood up but they laid in my armpit. I’m turning 49 this year and this was definitely not good for my ego. I was referred to Dr Platis by my sister-in-law who works in medical billing. I went to see Dr Platis and immediately, I felt at ease. He asked me what I was looking for and I told him that I wanted to look like I did when I was 20. I also explained to him that I was wondering if augmentation was even possible since I had an autoimmune disease, which was currently in remission, but I was still taking medication to keep it in remission. Dr Platis was so knowledgeable with my disease, but of course he asked that I speak with my specialist, who gave me the go ahead. Dr Platis also had me speak with the anesthesiologist as well to be on the safe side. He then thoroughly explained to me what needed to be done and how it would be done. This knowledge made me feel so much better. Well I had the surgery. I had breast augmentation with implants. Dr Platis recommended the implants so I would have the fullness up top again. After the surgery, I did not feel much pain. Just a pressure on my breasts. I followed all the direction from the surgical center and Dr Platis and my breast are beautiful. Apparently, my husband thinks they are better than when I was 20! I feel much more confident. I am very happy that I came to Dr Platis. My husband calls Dr Platis the breast god! The work he did was phenomenal. His bedside manner is soothing and humorous. His office staff is so kind and no question is too much bother for them to answer. Since this procedure, I have been complimented on my breast a lot! A lot! Now all my friends want to go see Dr Platis too. If anyone is thinking about having this procedure done, I most definitely recommend Dr Platis and his staff.

Dr. Platis was the only doctor I called and consulted with in regards to having an abdominoplasty with liposuction done. I had heard he was the one to go to and I can say without a doubt—absolutely TRUE! Within 4 months of the consult, I was having a ‘full tummy tuck’ done that I thought wouldn’t even be possible- due to how ‘large’ my middle section was at the time. Now at 11 weeks post op- I can say- I’m absolutely amazed, thrilled and satisfied with my results and DO highly recommend Dr. Platis to anyone!! I know there are cosmetic surgeons in this area that may be slightly cheaper, however it all comes down to, you get what you pay for- and choosing Dr. Platis is worth every cent. In 2004 Dr Platis did my tummy tuck. He was awesome! Very kind, great bedside manner, he really cares about his patients, he actually met me on a Sunday at his Merrillville office to check my progress while he had friends and family in his vehicle.
