My grandfather has had skin cancer removed several times by other doctors in Peoria. Not one of them has compared to what Dr Putman has done. He left my grandfather with the best possible scar. Also he has a hard time understanding directions and his nurse Aubrie was very patient and kind in helping to make sure that he did. They took very great care of him! I would not recommend going anywhere else.

And the nurses value patient care just as much as the doctors. I personally have used their Medspa services, and it’s like a mini-vacation. In addition to it being very esthetically appealing, it is extremely clean and comfortable. I would give this facility more stars if I could!

Professional, clean, & exceptional office! The staff is great. I highly recommend the permanent hair removal laser treatments. I’ve achieved amazing results on many areas on my body. The esthetician, Ashley, performs the treatments...I’ve been regularly seeing Ashley for a few years now and she makes the process go seamless each time! She always makes sure I’m comfortable (for a not so comfortable process) and she is very personable to talk to. I did some research around the Peoria area before choosing this office for laser treatments and I’m so happy I chose them...they had the best staff, office, and accommodating payment packages/prices by far. They will lay it all out for you at your consultation and will even make sure the doctor OK’s your skin type before you begin treatments...they can also run a tiny test patch to make sure your skin doesn’t respond negatively. Also, the type of laser this office has is a “vacuum head” so it picks your skin up before it zaps which reduces the amount of pain I can feel (and it’s a larger hand piece than most other lasers so it’s able to cover more surface area at once. This allows the esthetician to work super fast on me...I treat many areas in one appointment time and I’m done in less than an hour!). Highly recommend this service at Rashid Putman Plastic Surgery.

I recently visited Dr Rashid for a consultation to fix my stomach due to several surgeries. I cannot wear jeans, a belt or anything other than loose fitting pants. (Underwear included) I was amazed at the friendly one on one from the beginning. I contacted Aubhrey online, who was amazing. She made everything go so smoothly. Went to Rashid and Putnam for a skin biopsy. Was a little intimidated that they put me in an actual surgical room for the skin punch, but Dr. Putnam was very nice. He explained the whole procedure and it didn't hurt at all. Total time for both appointments (skin biopsy and suture removal) was probably 40 minutes.
