I myself have been wanting the procedure also and was finally ready for it (after 2 babies, both breast fed). I loved how much he put his work out there on Instagram and Snapchat. Dr. Placik and is staff is amazing. He made me feel so comfortable. He is very knowledgable, has a warm approach, and just so easy to talk to. He strives for perfection, and I’m now over 2 weeks post op - I’m damn near it. I had the mommy makeover. Intense surgery but they made recovery so manageable. Jewel and Laura are amazing ladies!!! I had a breast reduction with Dr. Placik and I am so happy with my results. Not only do I feel immediate relief, but I feel more comfortable and confident in my clothes. Dr. Placik was easy to speak with and sets up a calm/comfortable environment. On top of a comfortable environment, Nurse Laura was always available for questions (before and after the procedure). Cannot recommend Dr. Placik and his team enough!

I found Dr. Placik two years ago while looking for a great plastic surgeon that could fix my most unwanted part of my body. There were many surgeons to choose from. My first impression of Dr. Placik was that of a down to earth and very knowledgeable professional. He listened to me, understood my concerns and lack of confidence, and made me feel both at ease and in control. Selecting him to be my surgeon was an easy and obvious choice. One of the best decisions I ever made! I wasn’t looking to become a younger person or to have a Barbie body, I was looking to be able to have a normal body and to be able to wear normal clothing. On my first appointment, beginning with the cordiality of Danielle at his front desk, and followed by his honest, comfortable, kind, and thorough explanation, I found myself in the perfect place! Before the surgery, I had his nurse on the phone for more than 40 minutes, explaining the procedure, and how to prepare for it. She also explained with her personal experience what to expect following the surgery. Very personal people!! Which is something I absolutely love about Dr. Placik’s office! My surgery went very well, it took 6 hours. At home the next day, I received a beautiful flower with a note. I couldn’t contain my tears. It said something like this beautiful flower was me and it needed tender, loving care! The orchid was a gift from the office of Dr. Placik!! What a beautiful detail! Two years later, after 2 additional less invasive surgeries, I feel so confident! I feel normal! And I absolutely love my body!! I can go to a dressing room at the store and try anything I want! Thanks to Dr. Placik and his art!! I will forever be grateful to him and his staff for taking such great care of me!! His staff are professional, well mannered and highly trained. Let me start off by saying, I would give zero stars if that was an option. I am usually not one to write reviews, but the experience I have gone through with Dr. Placik's customer service was truly horrific and extremely unprofessional. I had scheduled an appointment with Dr. Placik regarding Kybella months ago. Multiple weeks before the appointment, I noticed there was a conflict in my schedule. Immediately, I emailed the office and notified them that I could no longer make my appointment and that they could cancel it. A day later, I received an email from their office confirming that they had successfully gotten my email regarding the cancellation. Fast forward to the "scheduled" appointment day which was supposed to be canceled. I receive 5 disrupting calls from Placik's staff while I am getting important blood work done at my physicians office. Confused, I step outside and call their office back. Instantly, a woman answers demanding to know why I am late for my appointment and insisting that Dr. Placik will not waste his time waiting on me. When I try to reason with her that I had cancelled this appointment weeks ago, she shouts over me that I will be charged 200$ for missing the appointment and hangs up before I can respond. As I said at the beginning of the review, extremely unprofessional staff... Later on, I sent a screenshot of the confirmation email I had previously received from the office confirming that they had gotten my email notifying them of the cancelation. I then got a reply back from one of the staff saying no one had properly recorded that my appointment should have been canceled. Blatantly an error on their behalf. At this point, the most professional response would have been an apology to me for their mistake. Instead, the woman continued to lash out at me and insist that I should have called in addition to the email. I would have understood this if I was cancelling the appointment the day before but I had cancelled it WEEKS in advance. It is not my issue if the staff is not able to record things properly and is extremely unorganized. There is no excuse for the staff's unprofessional actions. After this conversation, they also sent me an email saying I would have to pay the 200$ missed appointment fee plus 500$ if I ever wanted to have any treatments with Dr. Placik in the future. In other words, I would have to pay 700$ for THEIR error. Unbelievable. In conclusion, please take your business elsewhere. I used to think Dr. Placik was an outstanding plastic surgeon but considering the staff he employs I am convinced to think otherwise. Overall, Dr. Placik charges ridiculously high prices and is only interested in your money. Before this whole incident, I had juvederm injected by him for a chin dimple which only used 1/8 of the syringe. When asked if he saved the syringes for touch ups he replied no and said that the entire syringe would be thrown out immediately. Please know that this is very uncommon, I have been to many top tier plastic surgeons in Chicago as well as Beverly Hills and Dr. Placik is the only one who doesn't save filler/Botox syringes. I assume this is due to his desire to trap people into buying a whole new syringe every time they enter his office and thus handing over more and more money. As a whole, this office is extremely unethical and unprofessional. Please take your business elsewhere, you have been warned.

I was very happy with the results, especially when I was told "you are the only one in history who gets prettier with age" by one of my friends who had not seen me for several years. I'd like to credit this to Dr. Placik's excellent treatments. He is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy and smart. The truth is that nobody can stop the loss of collagen that happens as we age. However, Dr. Placik can slow down or even stop this from happening to you in a very natural-looking way, which really increased my self-confidence (and indulged my vanity!). A renowned and dedicated plastic surgeon, Dr. Placik does his best for his patients, but makes sure they never look "over-done." Additionally, his entire team is pleasant and professional to work with. I cannot recommend Dr. Placik's practice enough.

I've had a breast augmentation using fat transfer performed by Dr. Placik and I am very pleased with the results. I've had 1.5 cup size increase (without the BRAVA), my thighs are thinner from the lipo, plus Dr. Placik was able to correct my Pectus Excavatum, which is great because I absolutely hated it. I have had breast implants years ago (they were removed), and I have to say that fat transfer is much easier to endure physically. The pain after lipo was very manageable, and the breasts where the fat was transferred were not sore at all. I feel so much more confident now. This procedure literally changed my life and I am not exaggerating! I would definitely recommend Dr. Placik to anyone, he is a very good plastic surgeon.

My daughter had surgery by Dr. Placik and needless to say he is a great physician, she always talks highly of him. She looks great already and she is only 3 days out from surgery. I was more at ease while she was having her procedure done knowing his credentials and experience. Staff was friendly and reassuring and his nurse Laura is great as well, she called that night to make sure she was doing well and if I needed anything I could contact her at any time.

When I went to the initial consult with Dr. Placik, my nerves and apprehension disappeared and I felt at ease. They explained everything to me I went in there with no worries I was very calm . Surgery was very well done I had a fast recovery they followed up with me to same night to check how I'm doing. As a 33 year old mother of 1, after having gained a lot of weight from my pregnancy (181lbs on day of delivery) I lost all my pregnancy weight and even began weight training. At my fittest, I was at 125lbs and 5’4, 2 years after 1st baby. However, I was left with no breast tissue and skin flaps for breast from nursing and the weight training. I had thought about breast augmentation in the past, but never really felt bad enough about my body to actually go through it until now. What can I say...great doctor, great office, great staff, best experience ever. I was so nervous and scared and anxious all at once as the days of my B.A. were nearing. Having been in healthcare my self for 5 years, I knew what to look for in a doctor and their office staff, but even with my experience, any surgery can be scary when you are now the patient. So I searched and met with many doctors for 6 months before finally choosing Dr. Placik. I have to commend my poor fiance for being such a good sport, I dragged him to every doctor I met with until we both agreed on Dr. Placik. What was the deciding factor you ask...his experience, expertise, professionalism and option to perform surgery in a hospital setting. In case any emergency situations were to occur I felt better knowing I’d be in the best place for any traumatic situation. You will meet many doctor’s that can make you happy and promise the world to you, but this doctor is really the go to guy. He’s a perfectionist, honest and wants his work to look his very best EVERY TIME!. Even though I am extremely happy and satisfied with my breasts and he did a fantastic job, he did suggested (not push) a lift, which I declined after talking it over with my finance. We just decided that we both didn’t like the look of a lift with the “lollipop” scaring it would leave around the nipple area. So, after all said and done, I see why he was suggesting a lift (not a significant deal though) but I am still very happy with my results and the scars I do have are healing up very well and are barely noticeable. :D I am sooooooooo happy I went through with it and love my new look!! You can trust this man, he knows what he is talking about! Oh and as for my surgery and post op.....it was all excellent! No pain, healed quickly, I was walking around my house the same day after surgery like no biggie.

Dr. Otto J. Placik and his staff is AMAZING!!! He has a great personality, experienced, attentive, patient and was extremely knowledgeable about my procedure. He answered all of my questions with honesty whether it benefited him or not! I didn’t feel pressured at all! I got a breast reduction, lift and implants under the muscle. I’m 2 mths out and My incisions Look great. Normal pain...Only took pain meds for 2 days then I transferred to Tylenol extra strength. It was because of the way he cut and his way of doing my breast was the reason I didn’t have much pain. His incisions are impeccable. I can barely see them. I can tell he took his time. My after care has been great as well. Laura and Jewel were the nurses that helped me through my entire process. Laura referred a good bra for after care and Jewel was not schedule to work on the day of surgery but came in JUST TO SUPPORT ME! There’s no pretentious air or arrogance as seen with some plastic surgeons. I can tell he’s very passionate about his job and he can talk at lengths about his projects, and research.
