Most unpleasant doctor I have ever met! The staff , unlike Dr Horn, is welcoming and very professional. That doctor is so rude that there's no way would trust him doing his job with care. He barely looked at me, let alone smiled as he talked about my breasts. Very dismissive, talking with a bored tone. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I am a woman of color and I was accompanied by a caucasian friend and that doctor mostly addressed her and even asked how we knew each other !!! WTH??? The only good is that I'm a bit more educated about the procedure that I want done as I bring my business to a more competent and pleasant doctor.

Dr. Horn is the best! Look no further! I am so glad I chose to go to him. I've seen others people's surgeries and results and it made me feel bad for them and it was scary!!! I can't think of anything you could do to improve my next visit. My entire experience with Dr. Michael Horn, Lake Shore Plastic Surgery and his staff was incredible! Dr. Horn is a skilled and masterful plastic/cosmetic surgeon! This was the first time I'd ever had surgery in my life so I was very nervous but Dr. Horn made me feel very comfortable and assured me that everything would be alright and it was! Also, the anesthesiology specialist was very gentle and gave me something to calm me down. The next thing I knew, it was all over! The best cosmetic surgeon. I had a botched breast lift about 12 years ago (I even woke up during the surgery) and I went to Dr. Horn a couple years ago to finally fix it after kinda losing faith in plastic surgery, after my friend told me she had her surgery with him, and I cannot explain what an amazing job he did. I'm comfortable with my chest for the first time in my life and I cannot thank him enough. He changed my life.

Dr. Horn and his staff are professional, knowledgeable, and (most importantly) they get results. Dr. Horn is one of Chicago's top plastic surgeons, and his results speak for themselves. Unfortunately, some of the other reviewers seem to have had issues with laser hair removal performed by past estheticians. Although I cannot speak to the past medical spa side of things, I do know that he now has new staff handling the laser treatments and I have only heard good things about them. Now, when it comes to SURGICAL procedures, I can unequivocally say that Dr. Horn is one of the best plastic surgeons in Chicago. He is one of the most experienced breast augmentation surgeons in the city, and his results are unparalleled. His current nurses (Gretchen and Amber) are both caring RNs who are truly interested in ensuring that their patients receiving the best pre- and post- surgical care possible. In sum: if you are looking into having a SURGICAL procedure with Dr. Horn, don't let the negative reviews from NON-SURGICAL (e.g., laser hair treatments) patients factor into your decision. Visit Dr. Horn's websites and take a look at the results he has achieved from past patients. Then visit the office yourself to get a first-hand feel for how you will be treated as a patient. I've always been greeted warmly and treated kindly each time I've been to the office... and Dr. Horn really does achieve some of the best surgical results that I've ever seen. Hope this helps!

The technology at his office was great because he was able to print off 3D images of before and after photos of the breast augmentation so I could really get a better understanding. He was very personable and has a great staff! Since my surgery I have been back to his office for a facial peel and had my lips done. Beyond pleased with everything.

From the second I stepped foot into the consultation to my 6 week post-op appointment, I have had such a wonderful experience with Dr Horn and his team. Kayleigh, my patient coordinator, made me feel so comfortable at my first visit and guided me through the entire process. Sam, my pre and post op RN, was SO incredibly sweet and helped pacify all my pre surgery concerns. She took the time to go over sizing time and time again with me. I really appreciated it! UPDATED REVIEW - Scarred during laser hair removal. ****A couple of days after my review was posted, their office called me in an effort to address my issue, which I appreciate. They apologized and offered me a treatment to see if they can fix the scar. I will go in a few months and will update this review. Original review: Sharon was treating me and she turned the equipment so high, that it burned like hell when I was zapped. I told her and she gave me an ice pack which did little to nothing to relieve from the pain. I even had to stop at the pharmacy near by to get some ointment. Arriving home I noticed that from red it had turned black, like singed! I sent her a photo and she said it'll go away and to keep putting cream on it. 2 years later, it's STILL SCARRED. I'm so mad and feel so stupid that I let this go so easily. I swore off this place and told myself to forget it but talking with some people today theu convinced me I owe it to people to let them know about my experience. Stay away from this place. Or at least from Sharon and the laser services. Very disappointed and scarred for life.

To say that I had a bad experience here is an understatement. Dr Horn literally disfigured my entire chest after my breast augmentation. Almost immediately after the surgery I knew sometching did not look right as did everyone close to me- The implants were essentially entirely in my armpit. After first trying to ignore something was wrong, he said the reason the implants were displaced was because he implants were too big and it was somehow my fault- in actuality I told him I trusted his opinion and told him what size I was thinking and he suggested a larger size to which I said “whatever you think is best when I’m under”. About one year post op he finally “agreed” something should be done about them and agreed to do the repair “pro bono”, however instead of doing the repair correctly and in a professional manor, he was rude to my dad and best friend who were with me that day and gave the impression he was extremely mad and inconvenienced to be there. I will never forget how he ignored both of them and didn’t even introduce himself, looking back I should have gotten up and walked out like my gut told me to. It was quickly after the surgery we all realized he cut corners and they looked the exact same. About 2 years afterwards I finally went somewhere else and got them fixed (for about $9,500) and they finally look like they should have in the first place- This was 3 total breast augmentations in 3 years**** They were no longer in my armpits and way too high. To say that Dr. Horn scarred me is an understatement and any time I hear an advertisement on the radio I literally cringe. 4 years later and I’m still not over how taken advantage I felt and how disfigure I looked. For anyone wondering what the horrific breast augmentation I had looks like, go on Real Self and go to Dr. Horns page where I posted my post op pictures- I honestly could have been on botched and people’s jaws would have dropped. My only advice is do not go to this place for surgery- do your homework and go to multiple consults- I hope no one has to go through what I went through.

Dr. Horn is amazing! I went in for a breast augmentation a couple weeks ago and couldn't be more happy! My breast look perfect and are exactly what I wanted. Now I am finally able to wear bralettes and swimsuits. My clothes fit so much better and I feel like a new me! If you are considering a breast augmentation I highly recommend you go see him. I Got breast augmentation from Dr. Horn in 2013, and I'm so thankful to have had this Dr. to work on me! They still to this day are perky and round, yet soft and natural to the touch! I was SO nervous before the surgery, but i'd do it 100 times again because the experience was everything I HOPED for! I received 400 cc of high profile silicon, placement is sub muscular. I decided to go to Dr. Horn after visiting multiple plastic surgeons for consultations for breast augmentation. The staff is professional and friendly. Dr. Horn is quiet, but he spent time with me answering my questions (other surgeons I visited didn't even ask if I had questions). I found the imaging he did to be very helpful and let me visualize what I would look like when the procedure was completed. I had my procedure done on May 20, 2019. He and his staff made me feel completely at ease before and after the procedure. I appreciated all the written aftercare materials that were sent home with me as I referred back to them several times during my recovery. My results are exactly what I wanted and I feel great! I wish I would have gone sooner.

I had a package of six laser treatments for brazilian hair reduction at the salon. And I was very disappointed with the results. When I came the first time I was told that six treatments enough to eliminate hair, but after six treatments the hair growth was only slightly reduced, and then I was told that six is not enough and I need another six. I got an impression that the salon employee who treated me was much more focused on extending the number of treatments than actually the quality of treatments. I found it very disappointing and will not recommend this salon to my friends.

I had a breast augmentation with this doctor and tummy tuck- breast was infected and he did not remove the two large fibrosis found by my second breast augmentation doctor less than one and half years later. The second surgeon had to fix his work.

Don't waste your money! This doctor did a horrible job on my breast augmentation. I was left with nasty scars and on top of that he cut me under neath my breast entirely too much. So it made it more difficult for another surgeon to go behind him and fix what he messed up. Thank god I did my research and found a really good surgeon that did an amazing job. On top of that he was cheaper!
