I called Dr. Sorensen office to schedule a consultation and asked if he perform the procedure I was looking to get. I got my appointment scheduled 2 months out, since that’s how far he was booking out. I received a call from his office THE DAY OF my consultation saying they where gonna cancel my appointment because he didn’t perform that procedure when I had clearly asked before scheduling and was told Yes. He referred me to two other surgeons, one of which does not perform the procedure either. The other surgeon was booked out for the following four months, which would of been fine 2 months ago.

Love this place. Just got released from St . Lukes last night from an augmentation. Before surgery I accidentally drank a sip of water an 1 and half before my surgery. Big no no. Dummy me. Unfortunately, the anesthesiologist said sorry no surgery for another hour.Well Dr. Sorensen had another surgery that he needed to start. I was told I'd have to come back next week, because he was busy. Which I totally get. Long story short. Val an Dr. Sorensen made arrangements for me after his 4 hour surgery. I'm sure he was exhausted, but stayed until 7pm until I was done. I'm extremely impressed so far. Today I go into see what they look like. So far customer service is top notch. I had 2 others consultations with the top Doctors. i was not impressed.a Dr. Sorensen's team is amazing.They treat you like a human and not an ATM. Update: I have gone in once a week since my surgery. The results have been amazing. I recommend that anyone considering surgery to see Dr. Sorensen and his team. Harmony and Val are very professional and organized. You will not be disappointed with these angels.

I am very happy with my choice of going with Dr. Sorensen for my breast augmentation! They look very beautiful now! The best part is they look natural! I had loss of volume in my breasts from pregnancy and breast feeding and now look amazing! I am in recovery right now and it has not been bad at all! I was expecting the pain to be severe, but it is not bad! I actually feel fine! Post surgery I was pretty concerned about every little thing and his staff Val and Harmony put up with my numerous questions of concerns and Dr. Sorensen would see me when I needed (within reason). I was not in much pain, I went back to work after two weeks! I wanted Lipo too but it wasn't recommended so I'll be saving up to get Lipo and come here again. I won't go to another surgeon.

I was so worried about the outcome because I do not heal very well from surgery and there is a lot of "not so good" tummy tucks I have seen. I scar very easily but Dr. Sorenson did such amazing work! Highly unimpressed with my experience. Twice! The doctor has been doing this so long he is desensitized to the whole process. No personal connection. Does not want to give ANY pain medication after surgery. It was a nightmare experience that I will regret for the rest of my life. Do your research diligently, because they will sign you up for surgery if you have cash not knowing any of your medical history ect... All about money. Not the best interest of the patient.

I had been contemplating a breast augmentation for the last couple of years. I can honestly say, it was the best decision I have ever made to go through with it. I have three kids and breastfed each of them. I was already small to begin with, so as I’m sure you can imagine they were non-existent after them. If you’re thinking about doing it all I can say is, DO IT! I promise you won’t regret it! Dr Sorenson, Val and Harmony were all so wonderful in making me feel comfortable and welcome. Val and Harmony were so patient and kind, they let me come back multiple times to try on different sizes with different shirts to make sure I was making the right choice. In the end I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long. I will continue to go back to Dr Sorenson for anything else I may want done. Dr. Sorensen is a 5 Star Dr. all the way from start to finish. I cannot express how pleased I am with Dr.Sorensen and his artistic abilities when it comes to sculpting the human body. I am 34 years old and chose Dr. Sorensen to perform my abdominoplasty surgery on 6/23/18. It’s been 2 weeks since my procedure and my stomach looks amazing, i feel great and all in all it has been an easy process, little pain, minimal downtime and remarkable results. I have felt so great, that the most challenging part about this whole procedure has been trying to not do so much because I feel so well. I have 4 children, have had 3 C-Sections and a hysterectomy. I was told the pain would be comparable to my C-sections and hysterectomy, I must say, for me this holds zero truth. In comparison to pain and recovery time, I would rate my pain, from my abdominoplasty a 2 compared to my C-sections and hysterectomy being a 10. However he provided me with adequate pain care and I believe that has helped immensely w/controlling my pain. I felt a high level of comfort from the second I met Dr.Sorensen, I believe he truly cares about each individual patient and their desired results. What I appreciate most about Dr.Sorensen is his professionalism, knowledge and confidence in his abilities as a Plastic Surgeon. You cannot go wrong in choosing him to do your work, and can say I am beyond pleased with my results. I am extremely blessed that Dr.Sorensen was the one that did my procedure and I can honestly say I have ZERO regret. Dr. Sorensen is a fantastic surgeon. I had a TT 3/14/18 after a lifetime of weight gain and weightloss. I never thought I would see the day where i could comfortably wear a thin white t shirt without having to wear spanx. His work is excels, he is precise and efficient!. I have a very thin line for my incision and its lightening with each passing day. He gave me a cute belly button and was very helpful during my recovery. I recommend Dr. Sorensen to anyone who listens. My only regret is not getting BL and arm reduction during my TT procedure. You will not be disappointed. Additonally, the girls in the office are so great. Val has injected my lips twice and done a great job, Harmony is wonderful and so sweet. They are very patient with questions. I had met with two other surgeons prior to meeting with Dr Sorensen and I didn't feel confident or comfortable with either one. The moment I met Dr Sorensen I knew he was the one I wanted to perform my breast augmentation. I am 6 months post op and I LOVE my breasts. I had 3 pregnancies and 6 kids and luckily didn't need a lift. The recovery was super easy as well. I was up and moving the next day. No pain. His work is amazing. He was super helpful, caring and friendly. His staff was extremely nice as well. I will def be going back to him in the future for a tummy tuck. I highly recommend Dr Sorensen for anyone that is looking for an awesome surgeon in the Boise area.

I have put off this review for a few months with the hope that my situation would be corrected, or at least addressed, however it has not been so I feel it is necessary to do so. I went in for a breast augmentation surgery in Spring of 2013, everything seemed to be alright at first, though the post operation care was not necessarily the most helpful or considerate to my personal lifestyle in the fitness industry. About 4 weeks post op I noticed a problem and went in for a checkup, I was told that my results were perfect and that any issues would resolve themselves. Since he is a medical “professional” I took his word for it. Over time it became obvious that this problem was only getting worse so I saw him two more times. The first time he reiterated that everything was fine (and yes I understand that things aren't going to be perfect, but come on) When I showed him that the problem worsened when I raised an arm his response was something like - I can't help that you raise your arms. Alright, so who doesn't do that? I wanted to make sure that I was not out of my mind, and decided to get a second opinion. So I did, well I actually got three of them. 2 locally and one from a very well known doctor in Florida. All three acknowledged that, not only was there a problem, but that it could be and NEEDED to be fixed. All three also said that it was very possible to fix and told me that they would do it in the same way. I went back to Dr. Sorenson with this information and he denied that there was any problem, assuring me that no doctor would operate. I believe that the 3 personalized diagnoses and quotes for the new surgery prove that is not true. When I brought this up he got VERY angry and aggressively "showed" me how unfavorable I would look if I were to get the surgery corrected. I broke down and cried, asking him how he could say the results were perfect if I, the patient, was not happy with them. He had no answer other than to say that he was not capable of helping me. The sad thing is that the second surgery is going to cost 2-3x the original cost due to materials needed in order to prevent this from happening again, which is definitely not within my means at this time, so I will be living with these embarrassing results until I am able to afford the revision by another surgeon. I would never recommend him, and have deterred many people from even visiting him for a consultation. At this point I would not even let him operate on me if he offered to perform a revision for free. Not only because I don’t trust him, but also because he reiterated many times that he did not have the ability to perform a revision to fix my results. It is possible that he is a good surgeon and this was not something that he could prevent, however he has no compassion or common courtesy and is too prideful to admit that there is something wrong with his final results. With all of that said, I do understand that there are complications with cosmetic surgery, but the fact that he will not admit there was a problem is so heart breaking. As for his staff, Harmony was very nice, though she was the only one that didn't make me feel bad for going in to get the problem addressed. Please do your research and make sure that you feel comfortable with the doctor, compassion and a caring mind for the good of ones one patients will be very important. From my experience Dr. Sorenson will want to wash his hands of you once the surgery is finished, whether or not you are happy with the results.

When I initially met Val and “Doctor” Sorenson, they seemed friendly and kind. Val has had lots of plastic surgery and up-sells to potential patients, by claiming her breast implants were done for free by Doctor Sorenson. During my consultation they provided me with information related to surgery, including cost, procedure information, and general recovery instructions . However, they completely changed once I turned in all my hard earned money. On the date of surgery, Doctor Sorenson ran about 2 hours late. Unbeknownst to me, I got charged for his late timing by the anesthesiologist. After surgery I didn’t hear much from them. It saddened me that they didn’t care enough to help me address any concerns I had in regards to the healing process of my surgery. Thank you God for Google. This doctor did however love to take pictures of my uneven breast implants, during post op appointments. There was 0 concern for my wellbeing and the health issues I was having. He refused to remove the 535cc implants from my 116 pound frame. He didn’t even want to explant and put in smaller implants. What a dummy! Those ethics from medical school really went out the window huh? In the end, I removed them and went to the kindest, God gifted, angel of a Woman Doctor Crombie from Salt Lake City, Utah. She explanted me with 0 issues. Doctor Sorenson thank you for taking all my hard earned money and scarring my body for nothing. Thank you for ruining a lifelong dream that I had. My advice to women is seek a female doctor.

I recently had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. Sorensen along with having septum repair and enlarged turbinates reduction by an ENT doctor in the same surgical session. Dr. Sorensen and his staff were super friendly, answered all my questions and put me completely at ease about my surgery! Since I had more than just cosmetic work done, I had some extra bleeding and vomitting as a result. Dr. Sorensen was very attentive and reassuring and I appreciated how he treated me! When I went in for my one week checkup, I had minimal bruising and swelling that could be covered by a little makeup. I am just 10 days out of surgery now and love my new nose! Dr. Sorensen did a wonderful job and is a very kind and caring doctor. I can't say enough about his work and character and I would recommend him to anyone!

I was very confident after my initial consultation that a reduction would give me some relief from the daily pain I had been struggling with. I had implant removal procedure 10 months ago. I had evaluations with several other doctors. Their evaluations felt sterile and impersonal. Dr Sorensen and his team explained every step of the process and were always available for questions. I was very impressed with the courtesy, professionalism, efficiency and the overall quality of providers and nurses who work with Dr Sorensen and the rest of the surgical team. Since then, I have been seeing Dr Sorensen’s aesthetician Katie for micro-needling. I had very severe adult acne with scarring. I have always had beautiful skin up until about 3 years ago. I had my third mico-needling treatment today. My skin is so much better now. It is finally acne free with only a few areas of redness to my t zone, and I am confident that these will be gone in a few weeks. It is so nice to be able to go without makeup and feel good about my skin once again. It was not expensive and well worth it. I am so grateful to Dr Sorensen and his team. They’re a fabulous and amazing group of people. I highly recommended the services that Dr Sorensen and his team provide.

The staff is so caring and wonderful---Val and Harmony are so personable and really care about seeing you and call you by name. Dr. Sorensen was the choice my gynecologist chose for me to alleviate this huge tummy that was giving me a rash. Dr. Sorenson was kind and caring and made me feel at ease about the surgery. Everything about my process and procedure from start to finish was exceptional! Dr. Sorensen and the staff are friendly and professional. I felt valued by the way I was listened to and the treatment I received.
