Right as I walked in the door I felt welcome. Jessica was very friendly and made me feel at ease. Let's be honest, who really loves going to the dentist. Haha. Dr. Atwood was also very personable and asked me every couple of minutes if I was comfortable. He knew I was paying out of pocket, so he tried to fix my cavity instead of suggesting the alternative, getting a root canal. Overall it was a great experience. No matter where I live in the future, I'm coming here to get my teeth worked on

Atwood is the BEST!! had major tooth pain he got me in next day. Him and his team did a root canal very quick and did there best to make sure I was comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone

Dentist is great and did good work. However, I called ahead to make sure my insurance would be covered. The Lady in the office said she called my insurance and that they would cover 100%. After a $50 copay. I said great and had the work done. I paid the $50 leaving the office. I was told I was good and that I didn't owe anymore. About 3 weeks later I got a bill in the mail for $70. I called and asked what happened. Lady in the office said that what she had told me before was just an estimate, and this was the first time I heard "estimate". I wish they would have been more up front with me from the beginning. The money wasn't the issue. Thaw fact that they told me I was good to go and then receiving a bill 3 weeks later really bothered me. I'm not saying they are not good dentists. They did a great job on my teeth. I will just never set foot in there again because I was told one thing and received another (bill).

My exprience at Atwood Family Dentistry was incredible. They are so friendly and they really know what they are doing. It was great, we were seen quickly, and got out quickly too. They are thorough and get the job done right the first time. I will most definately be going back!

I came into the office for a regular cleaning and exam. After leaving and returning to work, I realized that the hygienist did not polish my teeth as usual. My first thought is that she was eager to get out the door quickly for lunch. The next morning, I went in to the office to report the error. Upon hearing the news, she reported that she polishes the teeth of all patients. I restated that for me she had not. She then let me know that it is not a procedure always recommended by the profession. I had already read that. But, where I had always, received it previously, I had anticipated it. She offered to polish them at that moment. I declined the offer where I felt it should have been done in connection with the procedure. There was never any phrase used, such as I am sorry for your inconvenience and missing that portion. But the quote from her was: "It is your word against mine."
