The things that really stood out in my experience with Dr. S were... 1) he took as much time as needed to listen to all my questions and concerns during my consultation, 2) he made me feel safe and comfortable prior to surgery, even warning me that I might not be happy the fist two weeks (I really value honesty), 3) he followed up with me after surgery in such a timely manner and more frequently than I imagined, which I loved because it meant I was being followed very carefully. I wanted to give an update on my experience. It's has been a few years since my breast augmentation, tummy tuck and lower back lift. ( lipo done on my mid section supporting the tummy tuck) To this day all of the work that was done is still absolutely beautiful and perfect. I couldn't ask for more. My breast are still soft, bouncy and have settled into a natural plump position. My nipple scars have naturally faded with minimal appearance. My abdomen is still tight in a sense of my muscles are toned and visible. Yet my skin is soft and normal. My scaring has faded again to minimal appearance. Again Thank Dr Schlesinger!!! I'm a professional model. Almost year ago I was attacked by a dog while on a trip to Las Vegas. It took the E.R. Dr. 6 hours and 17 stitches to sew the left side of my face and upper lip back together. I returned to Maui the following day and Dr. Larry came to my rescue; promising to be there for me until I am completely healed. Since then he has performed 2 surgeries; one to remove the hardened scar tissue and another to pull the healthy side of my face back to ensure that both sides are the same. Then a series of fillers to even out the wound while it heals; simultaneously treating the area with derma-pen to encourage collagen growth. He continues to care for me while I am recovering from recent CO2 laser surgery. He has been more than generous with his time and efforts. Judy I have already written a review for Dr. Schlesinger but in that review I just did an overview of my experience. What I didn’t mention was my full story that I am about to review. I went to see Dr Schlesinger in 2012, after seeing so many plastic surgeons, I ask him some questions and he answer every single one of them, so clearly. And he asks me: when were you last mammogram and I answer, “Oh Just had that done last week Dr,” and he said go and have another one done when he said that I was in shock, and here I was stared debating with him, but I just got that the done, So he said well, Am not going to talk about this anymore I am not doing any surgery on you on lest you have another mammogram. I was so devastated, and disappointed at the time. So I went to see my MD and me ask her for another mammogram and she was upset with me, her argument was that I just had that done, and why I need it another one, so I explained to her that My plastic surgery Dr need it another mammogram, so she doesn’t do it, and I went to another Dr and he Put in the consul for me. I took me 5 years to walk in Dr. Schlesinger office again, and I thought that he didn't remember me, but he did and he goes “ what happened to you “ So I told him that the second mammogram came back positive and I have a lumpectomy done and if there is anything he can do to make me look normal because that was all I wanted, I took me a while to go back to see him because I thought that not even him can help me, my scare and the shape of my breast were something else. And all he said to me was are you all clear and said yes. You know what he said to me, Let's get to work, I got all the info and in 2018 I went on surgery and you guys won't believe my result, the first the time I saw my self I was speechless, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Overall I am very happy with my result Dr. Schlesinger went behind my expectations, Not mention that it wasn’t for his years of experience and knowledge, Today I won't not be writing my story to all of you and my four children would be Motherless. Dr. Schlesinger to me is the celebration of knowledge, experience, Kindness, a heart of Gold, and forever I will be grateful to God and to Dr. Schlesinger because of his persistence, am alive today. I'm writing this as a parent. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Schlesinger as a Doctor and as a person. He was very concerned with the surgery he performed for my daughter, her recovery process, and always kept her safety first. Dr. Schlesinger was very easy to talk to, always giving us an answer in terms we could understand and never talked around an issue. In the two weeks after my daughter's implants, we met With Dr. Schlesinger on 5 occasions and never did we feel rushed. He always assured us that if we had questions or issues to call him. We did this on two occasions with one of these being on Sunday. He was glad we called and after talking with him, my daughter felt so relieved and his suggestions took care of her problem. As I parent I felt so much better too. How many Doctors will provide you their phone number for after hours. Dr. Schlesinger has changed my life. He is one of the most compassionate people I’ve ever met, and an extremely knowledgeable doctor. Pre-op and post-op he was wonderful. I healed fast and he was always available when I needed him. I was never worried about anything because I got to see him so often! Dr.Schlesinger is truly an artist! I went in not sure what I wanted done. He recommended adding some voluma to my chin, jawline, under my nose, and to the tip of my nose. I love the result! It is subtle enough to not look like I’ve had anything done, but really looks so much better- especially from my side profile! I now have more of a defined chin and jawline, my lips look better due to the angle he created with my chin and above my lip under my nose even though he never injected my lips, and my nose is much less pointy and so much cuter! It was so quick and with the topical numbing I only felt a pinch and some pressure. It was over in minutes and was like getting a 5 minute nose job/defined jaw I never knew I wanted until I saw how good it could look! I would definitely recommend and would trust him with my face or body because his results really do speak for themselves. His experience and quality of work is really the best! Let me just start with I am one of those people that wants to make sure that everyone knows the truth so the bad reviews on here yeah everyone has their say if they don't get what they want or whatever but let me tell you this man is AMAZING and does the best work with that being said I had my first implants put in what would have been a ago today by a doctor in FL who did me very wrong and could have cared less I started complaining 4 days after that surgery something was wrong and complained for 10months and he did nothing even though I had two spots that were very red raised and painful and then I moved to HI and the pain just kept getting worse and after only 3 weeks of being here one of the red raised spots turned into a hole my implant was showing I didn't know if I should try and fly back to FL to make the careless doctor fix it and I thought to myself maybe I should go talk to some of doctors here because I could not see putting my life back in the hands of the man that did this to me and then blew me off for 10months so I started looking for surgeons and that's when I found Dr. Schlesinger ... if your reading this its because reviews are important to you and you want to find the right surgeon so I am writing this to explain that after hearing my crazy nightmare story when I called I was able to see him that day and I want to say that was a Tuesday they also worked me for surgery that Friday ...He has a heart of gold all he cared about when he saw me was he need to get this thing out before it got worse and get you better and he did just that and I am very happy two say that it has been two months I healed amazing and a week ago he redid my implants and let me tell you these are the implants you dream about when you think should I shouldn't I get them done they look great they prefect size shape placement you name it ...I know this review is long but I want to make a point go with the best the first time around if I would have only know about Dr. Schlesinger before I would have waited until I got to HI but I am so glad he is my doctor now and its not just him his office staff the are wonderful as well as the surgery staff they make you feel like family ... I know it means the world to me to have a doctor that goes the extra mile for you he really does care and listen ...HANDS DOWN THE BEST!

My experience with Dr. Schlesinger is one I will speak of until I depart this great world! I came to consult with him relatively untrusting of plastic surgery practices due to previous poor experiences With other 'highly recommended' doctors. I consulted with Dr. Schlesinger about fixing someone else's 'mess' and 12 yr old implant removal. Initially , I was hesitant to proceed with cosmetic procedures due to high costs only to achieve average/sub-average results. The more I observed and interacted with Dr. Schlesinger and his staff, the more comfortable I was to proceed. Sure, these people are doing their job but they do it while genuinely caring about each and every person they service. As a result, wait times can get lengthy but that is a really small price to pay for the quality care you receive. I am two weeks post breast augmentation and lipo suction surgery. The results, after-care, and attention from Dr. And staff I have received so far have been superior. I would recommend Dr. Schlesinger to anyone who has ever been disappointed or who never want to be disappointed with cosmetic procedures. It is my absolute pleasure to share the incredible experience I recently had with Dr. Larry Schlesinger. I felt comfortable and at ease with Dr. Schlesinger within minutes of meeting him. He really took the time to get to know me and develop rapport before jumping into my consultation. I had consultations with two other surgeons on Oahu and let me tell you, it was a completely different experience. During my consultations with the other surgeons I felt embarrassed, uncomfortable, humiliated, like I was just another number on the list and an opportunity to fill their pockets with cash. Dr. Schlesinger never once made me feel like that. He was the complete opposite because he genuinely CARES. My surgery went so smoothly it’s almost unbelievable. The facility where my surgery was conducted was beautiful and super clean. I am totally blown away by the results of my surgery. I never would have dreamed in a million years that my results would be THIS good. My reason for having surgery was because I wanted to fix something that has made me insecure and uncomfortable my entire life. I can now say that I am 100% comfortable in my skin. Best, most qualified doctor for PS and fillers. Before going to Dr. Schlesinger I went to two other well-known doctors in Honolulu for facial fillers, and was probably charged too much and wasn't even happy with the results. THEN I went to Dr. Schlesinger: From the moment I walked into the office, I was treated like the most important patient they've ever had. And I quickly noticed that they treat everyone this way. I consulted with the doctor regarding what would be best -- ie, Botox, fillers, etc. He knew exactly what I needed, and we did it. Right after the procedure I saw a bit of swelling (completely normal) and I appreciate how he listened and let me know that the swelling would subside, which it did a few hours later. I've since gone back to him several times, and I've recommended him to my friends. Everyone is happy with Dr. Schlesinger. I waited 16 years to find a surgeon who I felt fully comfortable and confident in to get my Breast Augmentation, he and his staff are all knowledgeable in modern procedures and offer so much more than just a surgery! It is amazing what results they get both physically and mentally. I have witnessed many people gain great confidence in themselves because of the work Dr. S and his team put together. The patients form such a great connection with Dr. Schlesinger and his staff. One of the most impressive things I have witnessed are the surgeries. It may not show up in the surgery videos but the teamwork practiced during surgery is amazing. Dr. Schlesinger and his team of nurses, anesthesiologist, and surgery tech work together seamlessly. Often they are anticipating each other's next move and have the instrument or other thing necessary before the other person needs it. You can tell that they have been working together for a long time and they are in synch with each other. It is like seeing a choreographed dance or a professional sports team running plays. I first used Doctor slechsinger's topical melasma cream two years ago. I used it very lightly and had a great improvement in the appearance of my melasma. So much so that I could barely detect where it had been. My melasma is very light but I am very thankful to have found a cream that is not too harsh on my skin and does not irritate the issue further.
