Dr. Val is an amazing doctor. She’s has an amazing spirit as well. I’ve given her a rating of a 5 because she’s extremely knowledgeable, she’s very professional and patient as ever. I’ve never had surgery in my life ever. I’ve never been sick to be hospitalized. I wasn’t very sure to trust any doctors with my life. However, After meeting Dr. Val, things changed, she’s attentive to your needs and a great listener. She heard my cries. She heard my concerns. I was very apprehensive about seeing a surgeon. But my health problems, and physical pain and other concerns just grow. I had a consultation with Dr. Val and was pleased with the visit. I had surgery within the next month. She did everything in per power to make me feel comfortable herself, and the staff at Northside Hospital. I’m extremely pleased with my recovering time. She’s called to check on me, and make sure I’m taking meds properly. She’s responded promptly to every call. For my followup visits, the entire staff is amazingly nice and courteous. I would recommend her, and her staff and Northside to anyone looking for a professional place to work with. I’m extremely pleased with my outcome of my surgery!! Life is great!!

I had a lower body lift with Dr. Val. My surgery was paid mostly by my insurance, since I previously VSG surgery. Dr. Val was very pleasant and straight forward with what I realistically needed and what my results would be. She answered every question I had, no matter how redundant. She complimented my results, which gave me more confidence. I would definitely return to her, if needed.

Dr. Val has been a life-saver...literally. I was so defeated after a double mastectomy and reconstruction attempt partially failed. From the moment I walked into her office and had the first conversation with her, I knew that I had found my "breast peace". She is very knowledgeable, extremely patient, and overall she is the "coolest" doctor I have ever met. We are friends in my head. LOL... She's honest with you, even when you don't want her to be, and she holds you accountable for your part in the process. She is a gem to the practice of plastic surgery, especially reconstructive procedures. My process is not over yet, but so far, I am loving my results. BTW... her nickname is "the waistmaker", and that is no joke.... :-)

Unfortunately I do not have a before and after pic to share because for the longest time I have avoided the camera!! I am a 27 year old woman with cystic acne along with dry skin and an uneven complexion. The worse experience ever with this Doctor. I was to get the tummy fat reduction procedure done call Vanquish. Well my skin was burned and left with a knot of burned skin. I discontinued the service and ask to be refunded my over $5000 along with other services I wasn't happy with. She is refusing to give me a refund after her office manager said clearly, we will refund your money. S Val sent me a certified letter highlighting her no refund policy instead of a check. How ridiculous and unprofessional is that. What happen to patients satisfaction or its the ethical thing to do if your service was not satisfactory or for damage to a patient's body. Patients should have to right to discontinue a service if they are uncomfortable with the procedure...in my case, severe pain due to burns from the machine. This review is from my own personal experience, not from a company that will fill your web pageants with positive reviews for a fee. Yes its true. So be warned...reviews you read are not aways true. But this one is...Ive filed a claim with the BBB and waiting to hear from a New media investigator.

Even when you have questions she takes her time answering no matter how many you may have. I have never felt as comfortable with any doctor as I have with her.
