Dr. John Chao, and his staff are very professional. At hello you feel.you are in good hands. The Doctor listens is mild mannered and friendly. I had a very severe toe infection from toe nail surgery somewhere else, I knew I needed excellent medical care. Dr. Chao knew immediately what to do and did a very complete examination. Not like some offices when you are just a 10.minute visit. This Doctor cares about his patients and remembered me from r years prior. I highly recommend this practice.

From first visit and the most polite staff, to efficient but unhurried time with Dr Schiff, I have felt in great care during the six months since I was hurt. Prompt appointment times, detailed records dictated into the computer to produce take home info for me, and follow up instructions from PT recommendations to appropriate medicines. I just returned for a visit after my injuries resurfaced, and our next steps were discussed and quickly implemented. I have total confidence in Dr Schiff and his team, for whatever future care is needed.

Dr Henry did arthroscopic surgery on my right knee in 2010. I returned to him in 2017 for evaluation for total knee replacement. His office staff is always pleasant and timely. I never waited more than 15 minutes. I had TKR on left knee in September 2017 and right knee in December 2017. Both with excellent results. He is the ultimate professional and skilled surgeon. Always explained what to expect. Very pleased with my results.

Google limits reviews to 4000 words. I had just over 12,000 describing everything that's happened since May 16th of this year. So here it is in condensed form: Staff: To call them grotesquely inept, especially on the phone, would be putting it too kindly. I wouldn't trust them to run a lemonade stand. Dr. Langenbeck: good guy. Knows what he's doing. Dr. Silcox: No idea. Saw him once for 10 minutes back on June 13th and never saw nor heard from him again. End result: 2.5 months later, I'm 2000 dollars out of pocket and right back where I started from with no end in sight. The test pain blocker shot Silcox sent me to Langenbeck to get is wearing off and the pain is rolling back in. I have no idea what to do now other than go back to my doctor and start all over again. Insult to injury: on the follow up visit with Todd after an injection by Langenbeck, I was charged a 70 dollar copay. I thought that was odd considering it was a follow up two weeks later and should be part of the previous visit (it works that way everywhere else I've ever been). A couple minutes later the lady at the counter called me back up and said she had made a mistake, that she wasn't supposed to charge me for the follow up, so she credited me the 70 dollars. Yesterday (Sunday, 7/15/18, I got an email charging me the 70 dollars again. That's about the best experience I've had with the staff. That should tell you all you need to know.

They are very efficient and the Dr knows from xrays they take in the office every thing he needed prior to talking with me. My appointment ran on schedule and the Dr did not rush me at all. On Sept 18, 2018 Dr. Gupta performed a total knee replacement on my right knee. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I can't say enough about how great my recovery and outcome has been. Dr. Gupta deserves so much credit and I was lucky to have such an obviously skilled surgeon perform the operation. I'm told I'm doing better than average but I just followed the instructions and I'm doing the recommended physical therapy. I'm 65 and after six weeks I'm walking pain free and can move so much easier than before the surgery. I was walking without a cane after 3 weeks. I'm not 100% yet but I'm totally mobile. No more limp and able to walk easily and pain free. I just bought a bicycle and I can ride and peddle it! At worst, my knee gets sore from swelling but it's not that bad. Especially considering it's only been six weeks! I get stronger every day and feel confident that in another month or two I'll be close to 100%. I can go up and down stairs now using both legs. You don't know what a blessing that is until you lose that ability. Staff is fantastic. Lots of follow up and personal attention. My case manager Kelly gets an A+++. I thank God for modern medicine, Dr. Gupta and his staff. My future is bright thanks to them. Thank you all so much!

Highly recommend Peachtree Othopedics and Dr. Henry. The front office staff is amazing. The gentleman who checked me in actually called me by name on the way out and said goodbye and to have a great day. Never had that happen before. Dr Henry really takes time to listen to his patients. He doesn't rush through the consultation. Still going through the process of followups, but definitely very pleased so far.

I am down visiting our daughter and was told Dr. Thomas was the best when it came to hip replacements. I called the office and had an appointment within a week, I did have to cancel the first one but made another one and the staff was very professional and friendly. When I arrived again great staff and I saw Dr. Thomas within 15 minutes of getting there. I was very nervous but Dr. Thomas just had this great confidence about him and he isn't a surgery demon. He explained what was wrong but on a delicate matter (weight) he said it would be better and safer for me to loose some weight first. I really appreciated his honesty but more then that he was nice about it. Trust me, I've had doctors that are not nice when talking about your weight. So he has motivated to take off what I need to so we can go ahead with the first hip surgery. I'm still nervous but not about Dr. Thomas and his abilities, it's just me and hospitals. I would walk through fire for Dr. Henry! He literally saved my leg in a total knee replacement revision when the bone cement from the original surgery was degrading and starting to eat at my bones. Dr. Henry explained the entire process of revision surgery and follow-up rehabilitation - and everything went exactly as he said it would. Rehabilitation was totally different from the first surgery. It was nearly pain-free, and took so much less time than the original surgery, which was a surprise! Dr. Henry was on top of things from beginning to end. We are 14 years on from the revision surgery, things are going extremely well, the implant is still secure and I wouldn't trust my knee/leg to anyone else!!!

I was recommended to Peachtree Orthopedics by my primary care physician after I felt pain in my elbow and bicep which was accompanied by swelling (the swelling had not subsided in several weeks). I scheduled an appointment relatively easily. I was x-rayed and sent to my patient room. The doctor came in, looked at my elbow, asked me when I got my tattoo, and said I should get an MRI all in what was probably less than 5 minutes. He never investigated the swelling in my bicep and I had to ask about my x-rays (which were normal). I went to get the MRI (paid $1000). My followup was about 3.5 weeks after my original appointment. When I went in, they told me I had an outstanding balance on my account of $226. I asked what the charges are for, and they gave me an itemized list. The appointment alone (not including the x-ray) was $356 ($172 insured). Considering the treatment I got, this number is exorbitant. Less than 5 minutes with the doctor, and he spent more time asking about my day than trying to figure out what is wrong. I asked if I would have to pay the same amount for this appointment (probably for another 5 minutes for the doctor to recommend that I go to physical therapy where I could pay $50 a visit), and they said yes. I asked the staff if I could reschedule the appointment without charge, and they said yes. I want to cancel my rescheduled appointment. The amount I have had to pay for the absolute minimal treatment I got is laughable. It seems ridiculous that I would have to pay another $172 for the orthopedic to read off what I already have on my radiologist's report. I have found out way more on my own. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff were friendly and answered all my questions earnestly. Oh and $6 for parking each visit? This isn't midtown Atlanta.

Traffic is horrible at this location, staff is tolerable. Called the office to let them know there had been a wreck and that my GPS had increased my arrival time. I was two minutes past their 30 minute cut off due to zero parking in the lower garage and waiting in the elevator. The check in lady told Daniesha that it was only 2 minutes and to let it go. But she said not that’s what I’m going to do. Do not go to this location!!! Avoid at all costs!!! It’s not worth your $6 parking fee or your time. I highly suggest finding a different place to see your doctor.

I came to POC with a broken hand. 4th and 5th metacarpal displacement. Dr. Tarabadkar and his assistant Kasi have not only taken the best care of me and my hand, but their entire staff has been super awesome! One of the reception nurses even noticed it was my birthday (a couple days before my appt) and had made sure to tell me HBD! After getting my initial eval, they set the surgery date and time. I was in and out! Surgery took about 2 hours, VERY LITTLE to no pain at all! During my latest appt, the x-rays showed my bones to be healed and everything is in place. I'm going to have my hardware and cast removed on 5/16 (can't wait!) They way Dr T did the placement was absolutely perfect! Great after care instructions, they make everything easy to follow and understand. The staff, doctors and nurses at POC are top notch!! THANK YOU DR TERABADKAR! You are awesome!

On July 3rd I rode with my 86 year old, wheelchair bound mother to get a follow-up on her right shoulder which had dislocated twice at her assisted living home after a couple of falls. Mom is in her right mind but after having MS for over 50 years is very fragile. She was looking forward to getting her right arm back because she loves to sew and crochet. After the falls we had to take her electric scooter away and with her right arm out of commission she can't operate a wheel chair either and has to depend on a caretaker. She is very stubborn and independent which is what led to her falls in the first place. This visit was very important to her. Mom was seen at Piedmont hospital for both dislocations and we were referred to Peachtree Ortho for follow-up. I arranged a handicapped transport for $85 and we rode to the office together. I was afraid to drive Mom myself due to her injured shoulder. We were declined at the office because of Mom having no photo ID. We were given no chance to try to come up with anything. The clerk went back to ask Dr. Murray but we were declined. Mom has used the same doctors for decades and they have copies of her old driver's license but we never thought Mom would decline so badly that it would come to this. So, now I will have to drag Mom to the DMV to get a photo ID. In the meantime her shoulder is still out of use. I was so disappointed I wept, after returning Mom to her room. Time is running out for her. What a mean, heartless way these doctors treated her! Hell will freeze over before I bring her back here.

I was grateful to have met Dr.O! When I met Dr. O in February, my body was intensified with inflammation and in a lot of pain everyday. I was sleeping all day and night being on strong medication trying to prevent feeling the pain I was in. Dr. O seen me, examined me and he knew what to give me, so that I could get some relief as he ordered all the necessary testing to spearhead why I had so much pain, and to see if surgery was needed. I’m so glad he did all the things he had to do, even on down to physical therapy! Dr.Anuj Gupta is an excellent physician and surgeon . He addresses the individual case by case issues and concerns of a patient very attentively , thoroughly and efficiently. I recently underwent a left hip replacement revision surgical procedure with Dr.Gupta . My left hip had undergone the first time a replacement four years ago at the renowned Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC while I was still living up north. Needless to mention , I have been miserably and hopelessly living with discomfort since that first procedure up till the day I met Dr.Anuj Gupta, who opened for me a new horizon. Dr.Anuj Gupta takes the time necessary to thoroughly analyze the issue , it’s history , the treatment options along with the potential outcomes in a very clear way , thus enabling a patient to take the best , well informed decision . There's always traffic no matter what time of the day your appointment is. No free parking. Over 50 minutes of waiting WITH a doctor's appointment. I have not had the best experience here especially thanks to Dr. Obinwanne Ugwonali and his nurse practioner Kate Walton. I was referred here by my lawyer after an accident with a semi tractor trailer. After 12 weeks of physical therapy, both of my therapists(back and wrist specialists) released me from care and stated that I was rehabilitated. When I went to visit Dr. Ugwonali, he asked me my pain level and I stated that it was very minimum, barely there, on a scale 1-10, 10 being unbearable, I'm at a 1 and would like to be discharged from care. He stated that any pain should be treated, left the room and to my surpise, had advised 6 additional weeks of physical therapy. I did not go to any more PT because I felt it unnecessary. I have called the office and left voicemails three times to try to get discharged before my 4 week follow up visit and have been ignored. I was ignored again today (8/6/18) when I decided to take time out of my day to visit the office and request an official discharge. There were no more than 4 patients in the waiting room and when the front desk representative sarcastically called back to both ugwonali and kate asking them did either one of them permit me to drop by unscheduled today, they replied no and that they are super busy and don't accept walk ins EVER. All of the smirking was unprofessional to say the least. I simply don't understand why the doctor or his staff couldn't take 10 additional minutes of their time to discharge me. Please avoid this practice unless you want to feel stressed out, wait forever, or like you are being forced into more unnecessary treatment so that you can have an even more expensive bill. Highly not recommended.

Expertise for the subject matter feels very solid. I was examined by Dr. Henry for hip problems. The wait time is suboptimal, more than two hours in total, only 15 minutes spent with the Doctor. Place must be overbooked, in a bright side it could be an evidence for high level professional expertise. On a dark side, I forgot to mention some symptoms while feeling pressure of overbooked office. I am going back for the follow up, for sure!

Doctors are fantastic. Staff is completely incompetent. Nobody returns calls, surgeries are scheduled for multiple days in different systems. You are put into call queues and nobody ever returns calls. I had to repeatedly explain that my case was worker's comp and I still got bills constantly. The doctors are absolutely amazing though. Dr. Chou is one of the most competent and professional doctors that I've ever worked with. He's thorough, insightful, and takes great care of his patients. It's such a shame that the office staff can't handle anything.

For my surgery, the nursing staff was very gentle and kind, informing of each thing they were doing. The wait at the office is always short, and they get me in and out with no hassle. Dr. Chao is a very intelligent and nice orthopedic surgeon, who takes time to communicate with his patients. He makes sure all of his patients understand what is wrong with their bones, ligaments, etc. and how surgeries will go. For example, he drew out how my surgery went, so that I can understand it better. He meets my concerns by helping me get back on track with my soccer game. Dr. Chao is very considerate with his patients questions. For instance, he answered my call concerning my hurt leg, when his wife was about to go into labor. This is only a small list of the amazing qualities Dr. Chao has. He is overly qualified for his job. I would recommend him and his staff at Peachtree Orthopedics to anyone!

Dr Pennington put my plate/screws in clavicle 11yrs ago so when I broke the same one again, NO hesitation who to call. As he would say, my case was incredibly difficult but we chose to avoid total reconstructive surgery and let it heal with heavenly help.
