The receptionist "C" and the scheduler "M" for this doctor were really abrupt with me on the phone They seemed to be annoyed with me asking questions about the procedure and the billing. Not sure if the doctor knows about this but based on their very unwelcoming attitudes I am going to continue my search for a plastic surgeon with a KIND AND CARING office staff. First impressions are EVERYTHING.

Dr. Crispin is sincerely the most skilled and kind surgeon. I suffered for years with gynecomastia. As a teenager I was made fun of my chest but at that time I didn't know there was anything I could do about it. Now as an adult, I knew I had to take care of this so asked multiple people who they would recommend. Dr. Crispin's name was suggested and I'm so glad it was. He advised me that this is a common problem for men and he could make a significant difference. My consultation was very thorough and he took the time to explain everything in detail. I have never left a review before but after my experience with Dr. Crispin and staff, I wanted to share my experience to help others. I saw Dr. Crispin 2 months ago for a breast augmentation and couldn’t be happier with the results. From my first consult he was extremely helpful in his recommendations while taking in my concerns into consideration. He was extremely patient and took the time to meet with me several times before surgery to make sure I was choosing the right size, placement, and profile. The nurses were also very pleasant and helpful throughout the process. Surgery day was the same way. The nurses and anesthesiologist introduced themselves to myself and my family and took the time to answer all questions before hand, putting us all at ease. Never once was I worried or afraid for the process. They called me several times that day and the following day to make sure I was doing well and didn’t need anything. I am beyond happy with my decision, size, doctor, and staff. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Crispin, who was first recommended to me by a friend at work. As a CRNFA she had over the years operated with several plastic surgeons and he was by far the best she had worked with. An ovarian cyst removal had left me with a midline scar, two kids later… well what can I say but I needed a little help! A couple of years later I started to get bags under my eyes and after many different eye creams, realized that it was more than an eye cream that I needed. So Dr. Crispin performed upper and lower eyelid surgery. Years later I still could not be happier with the outcome of both surgeries. Dr. Crispin was highly recommended by a very close friend. After my initial meeting with him and his staff, I was truly confident that I had found the right doctor. He is an amazing person, a compassionate man who makes you feel like you are his only and most important patient. On the Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend, I had a situation that frightened me very badly. I decided to get a BA done and was searching for a great surgeon that I could trust. I noticed that Dr. Crispin popped up on google so I scheduled a consult. After the consult, I wasn't too fond of him, can't say why...just wasn't the best vibes, but I trusted his work since he was listed as the top surgeon in Atl. I decided to book the appointment ($694.00 later) and came in for my pre-opt. I wanted to start fresh and develop a relationship with Dr. Crispin and since I paid my money he knew I was serious and I figured he would take his time with me. But instead of me feeling confident in choosing the right surgeon who cares about me and wanted to listen to my concerns, he confirmed with me that he was not the surgeon for me. As soon as I came in the room he acted like he was happy that I decided to book and that made me want to open up and voice my reasons as to why I wanted the BA in the first place. Right at that moment, I could see in his eyes he was immediately uninterested in hearing me talk about my body. He quickly and seemingly in a rush gave me options for the BA (what incision point, scars...etc) but didn't care to take the time to help me come to a decision on which incision point we are choosing and what all he would be doing in the operating room. When I started talking about what would work best for me and what I want, he just cut me off and told me I have over 20 years of experience as if to say you don't know anything about your own body and you can basically shut up. Like, what makes him think he can disregard my input and be impatient with me? After that I started to feel uncomfortable and uneasy and I did not even want to be in that room anymore. We never even came to a conclusion as to which options we would be choosing, so I was honestly confused. Then he just walked out of the room. SMH. How could I possibly want a person to operate on me who does not feel the need to STOP and LISTEN and be PATIENT. The the woman in the room just continued on as if there was no problem and wanted me to proceed with taking pictures. I'm not spending 5k on an elective surgery that I don't even need to be mistreated and dealt with by a doctor with a condescending attitude. After that, Dr. Crispin called me and left a voicemail saying sorry for being "goofy" or "disorganized".... Wait what?? How did he get "'Goofy" and "Disorganized" from interrupting me and rushing me out of the room with out giving clarity on what will be done during the operation. I'm seriously roiling my eyes right now. That's not how you treat someone who's never had a surgery in their LIFE! That voicemail was unprofessional and it proved that he really was not trying to listen to me AT ALL. Maybe he thought oh no big deal, she's younger so I'll just send her a thoughtless crappy inaccurate voicemail and she'll be fine.. WRONG! Glad I didn't continue with that surgery, Dr Crispin needs to do better with his bedside manners regardless of how many years experience! Act like you care and are interested and take your time with explaining all the specifics with me before you just up and walk off. I will go ahead and book a consult with another doctor that seems be more caring than Crispin. I want my money back this office was a complete WASTE!

Dr. Crispin truly is the salt of the earth. I had been researching for two years the procedure I wanted, and the Surgeons as well. I narrowed it down to two. Dr. Crispin was the first that I visited and I knew I wanted him to do my surgery. I didn't even meet with the second Doctor. During my consultation he took his time explaining the procedure and answering my questions. Never once did he try to sell me. After setting up the date for my surgery, the time finally came for my pre-op appointment. He went over the procedure once more and answered all my questions and concerns. Guys, I pulled out a notebook with my questions written inside! Finally the day came. I arrived at the surgery center; check-in went smoothly. Listen, I was a nervous wreak! In fact, Webster has yet to define the level of anxiety that I had. I've never been put under general anesthesia nor had I been operated on before. Here is where the most important part of this whole experience has caused me to leave such a review. He is submerged in this 'cosmetic' world almost daily, and has been for years. It's easy to become rather jaded and to forget that for most of us, this is new and can be terrifying! My fear was very real to him. Never once did he brush it off. He made the time to say, "Are you okay?" "It's alright" "Just take a breath" "Hold on for a sec, let me make sure she's calmed down" That meant so much. Knowing you're in capable, caring hands. I'm 10 days post-op and doing great! The final result will take some time to see due to the whole recovery process, but everyday I looked in the mirrior and see progress. It's beautiful workmanship, and my dream of an awesome tummy after having two children have been realized. Dr. Crispin and his staff made it all possible. I am truly grateful. I will never go anywhere else as long as he is in practice.

Dr. Mark Crispin preformed two rhinoplasty on me. After the first rhinoplasty, I couldn’t breathe out of my nose. When I slept, I had to sleep sitting up. I had to breathe out of my mouth every night for a year. I remember my mouth and tongue getting so dry at night. It wasn’t any better during the day time. My favorite pastime was running, and I couldn’t even do that. I was anxious and miserable. I didn’t want to tell my parents what was really going on since I was 19 at the time. There was a point I couldn’t take it anymore. I told my mom what was going, and we went back for a second surgery. BIG MISTAKE. I regret not listening to my parents in the first place. They fought against me getting the surgery , but at one point I wanted to feel “pretty” and I thought a new nose would help; it didn’t. Anyway, Dr. Crispín insisted it was swelling or allergies. He was wrong. My nose was completely crooked and no longer function like it should. He knew it was bad work. Dr. Crispín didn’t admit it, but offered to do a second surgery; it’s no better than it was before. My nose is lopsided and scooped out. At this point, I would do anything to have my old nose back. Dr. Crispin said it was a great nose before the surgery...but later said he could make it “better.” I’ve met other girls who were left botched by Dr. Crispín. I would stay away from him. Find a doctor that cares for his patients. One that doesn’t trick you in getting unnecessary surgery. One that bothers to follow up on his patients. Find a doctor that is educated and talented in the scope of work that he preforms.

The best thing to do when having cosmetic surgery is get more than one consultation. I was sure to get a couple in the area and wasn't thrilled with either and then my son had to have an ear tag removed by a pediatric plastic surgeon. While there I asked who he'd send his wife to if she needed work done on her abdomen. He said hands down Dr. Crispin. I immediately booked a consult. He was correct - Dr. Crispin far surpassed my expectations!! After two hard pregnancies I needed my diastasis recti repaired, umbilical hernia fixed, and also the loose skin I had accumulated from gaining and losing 70 lbs needed to be removed. Dr. Crispin is absolutely amazing, essentially an artist! I saw him originally about 2 years ago to fill in a crease between my eye and my cheek, and the results were fantastic! It's been 2 years and it's actually still filled in. I just turned 35, and I was noticing some other signs of aging. I just went back to see him about filling in the tear trough area, as well as the mid cheek groove. It's been two days and the results are incredible, I honestly couldn't be happier! He's also very reasonable, and allows the purchase of a half unit instead of making someone buy a full unit, when they don't need it!! . A full unit of Restylane under my eyes would have been too much, and would have looked bad. A few years ago a different plastic surgeon put a full unit under my eyes and it looked terrible! I'm very happy with Dr. Crispin, and will definitely be going back to him for other things!!

At 50, I had liposuction and a back lift. There is a difference, I look better considering the condition of my skin (not being elastic as it use to).
