Knowledgeable doctors but be prepared to be just a number at this mega-clinic. Very professional staff and environment but lacking a personal touch. Office gets incredibly busy and you spend a lot of time waiting, but worst of all you feel like you have a clock running as soon as the doctor enters the room. You've got 10 minutes to make sure you get all your questions answered and then they are off to the next patient. I felt the doctors were well practiced and knowledgeable but I wanted more explanation and time to walk through my personal treatment plan and this clinic simply cannot provide this level of care with the amount of patients it sees on a daily basis.
This may be redundant, as I submitted a reply to a text requesting my review...The staff was very professional and friendly. Everything went smoothly...no surprises, this time. (The surprise last time was on my part due to missing the original surgery as I sat in the ER with 3 DVT's in my left leg.) I really appreciate the way the team adapted to my new situation, rescheduled the surgery quickly, and worked with me to be prepared for surgery day!
Busy office but staff is very communicative about timing of the appointments of the doctors. They let everyone know that some appts were running behind due to emergency surgery. Every person that I had contact with was pleasant, professional & engaging. I met over 10 staff members. Dr. Seiler is the BEST! He listened & communicated throughly regarding my medical concern. He also has a nice personality & funny....great bedside manner, if you will.
The care provided is very good, as long as you are willing to tolerate the insane wait times. It's been almost an hour and a half since my appointment time, and still haven't seen the doctor. Update: Between two visits and over 4 hours spent waiting (not including actual time with the doctor) in a two day period, my procedure was completed. My hand healed very well and is doing great, though I passed on the follow up appointment because I simply could not stomach another several hours spent just waiting. Dr. Payne is an excellent doctor with a wonderful demeanor, and I sincerely hope that this office finds ways to improve patient care through better wait time management.
Dr. Howell and his staff at the Marietta and Atlanta locations were welcoming, nice and knowledgeable. The staff at the surgery center were awesome as well. All questions were answered for us and felt relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Howell was amazing and I had a successful surgery!
Dr. Alexander and his staff are awesome. I couldn't be more happier, satisfied and just plain over joyed with the professionalism, kindness and personality of the entire staff. They showed concern, compassion and listened to what I had to say, addressed all my questions. Thank you very much for all that you have done for me. Debbie Hancock
Very Professional! So far i'm very satisfied with my surgery. It has only been a Week, but minimal scarring and no pain from my shoulder that he repaired. Top notch office as well, very professional.
I was more than satisfied. I had dealt with pain in my hand for over a year. My first appointment with Dr. Payne, he knew exactly what my problem was. He recommended surgery I excepted his recommendation and inside of a week 98% of my pain was gone. I'm healing well and expecting to be pain free in a few weeks. Great work!
Thanks to Dr. Dalton and his wonderful staff for providing such great care .
As soon as you walk thru their doors you know right away you in the right place from start to finish. Dr Payne was amazing so nice and puts you to ease and explains what he's going to do,then theres Deana with her Bic Pen helping you thru the billing and scheduling process, and theres Mark whos the icing on the cake tying it all together and answering all your questions and more. Thanks everyone can't wait for Tuesday for my procedure.. Neil P
Nice office, high tech check in and friendly staff. Dr. Starr was thorough and explained things well.
After two hand surgeries I have nothing but good things to say about this outfit. Everyone from Dr. Payne to the medical support people, the therapists and the administrative group is thoroughly professional, supportive and pleasant to deal with. Bravo!
My appointment started on time. The clinical manager was friendly and moved everything along quickly. Dr. Alexander was great. Clearly explained my options, risks, and potential outcomes.
Everyone has been so caring and I have never been to a doctors office where everyone cared. There is such a relaxing atmosphere for the patient. Thank you so much.
Had wrist surgery 13 years ago...still working wonderfully. Chose again for a new issue. Really like the skill and thoroughness.
Everyone that I encountered from the front desk, xray tech, office manager, and Dr. Alexander were all very friendly and efficient. Great experience!
Dr. Dalton is very personable. He was recommended for his expertise by my family physician and I was comfortable with his honest diagnosis. The entire office staff is friendly and the office atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
After one visit, it is clear that this practice is very efficient and capable. Initial visit went as planned and I was able to fully engage with Dr Alexander and the entire staff and have all my questions answered. The facility was impressive with all necessary tools to provide the best care. The staff contacted me a few days after my appointment to schedule a nerve study on both of my hands after approving the procedure with my insurance company. The staff found a location that was less than a mile from my house that able to complete the nerve study in less than a week and handed me the results on the way out the door. Based on my initial impression, I am impressed. It is quite possible that I will have additional interaction as surgery is a real possibility. I have no reservations about continuing the relationship and will continue to update my experience.
The staff is very friendly and caring. Dr. Seiler is great dealing with my 14 yr. old daughter!
After more than two hours of waiting, finally I was called. Very professional and caring nurses, first time at Doctor’s Starr practice. Doctor Starr is very profesional, respectful and he performed a very thorough physical examination. Great Surgeon, great post op care.
Due to injury, this is the second procedure Dr Payne has performed on me. I have to say that I am 100% satisfied with really, everything. I could ramble on with details, but mostly, I'm completely satisfied with my outcomes. Thank you Dr Payne for your friendliness, compassion, and unrivaled surgical skills!
I am very pleased with the care I’m receiving from Dr. Start, he is very thorough. I would highly recommend him.
In my 49 years of living, I have NEVER had a specialist diagnosis and provide treatment on the first visit. Dr. Alexander actually took the time to provide treatment on the FIRST visit. I was shocked, flabbergasted, and very pleased with every aspect of the practice. Normally, you get assessed (for billing purposes) then asked to return for treatment. This place values patients time and money. I absolutely love it. Then, if that wasn't enough, I was fitted with, not 1, but 2 braces!!! Hold on to your pants....I was then referred to physical therapy...which was downstairs. It gets better! I WAS SEEN THE SAME DAY!!! FITTED WITH A 3rd BRACE that I could use all day! I was given a magazine that provides additional needed information. Both the doctor and therapist took the time to explain what was happening, the cause, and the fix without being asked. I have NEVER been so impressed with medical care. Thank you for being a cut above the rest!!!
I injured my Thumb on Sept 20th 2017 Dr.S.Houston Payne was the hand surgeon who treated me at the ER in Piedmont Hospital ,Atlanta,Ga.Since then I have been seeing Dr.Payne on a weekly basis. Dr.Payne is so courteous and passionate. He listens to all my questions and explain the plan he is following to save my Thumb.Every visit with Dr.Payne Is so pleasant and makes you feel good regardless of your injury status. I recommend Dr.Payne to any hand injury patient. The team at Georgia Hand, shoulder and elbow is so caring friendly and helpful this is a plus for Dr.Payne and his team. Thanks Dr.Payne Chuck Chihane
Fantastic place for anyone needing their help. From initial diagnoses, surgery, and now physical therapy, I've been very well taken care of. Dr. Alexander and this office are incredibly respectful, great customer service, always respectful of your time, and made my experience of dealing with my wrist injury as painless as possible. I highly recommend them.
Dr. Alexander & this practice saved my life. They have always been wonderful in communicating with me and helping me through an injury I've had for over a year. I appreciate GA Hand so, so much!
Wonderful experience everyone was very professional Dr.Alexander was the best back
Dr. Payne is the best and he has really made my hand, wrist and arm normal again. I am so impressed with the three scars I have. I feel they will be almost invisible when they heal properly. I just thank God that Dr. Slappy sent me to Dr. Payne. He is the best and so is his staff. Everyone there is so professional, friendly and always make the patients feel at ease. Rita Rainwater
Excellent staff & service, from the front desk through check out. My only "complaint" is that it took weeks to get my prescription because of delays and/or miscommunication between the doctor's office & my insurance company. But that was a one-off that doesn't represent the quality service & care that I've experienced.
I enjoyed being apart of an awesome team. I started with Dr. Starr letting me now I had Avascular Necrosis and I heeded a shoulder replacement. He then sent me to see Dr. Dolton. I could not lift my arm. It would just drop down whern trying to lift it. I did several weeks of physical therapy. Then on October 13,2017 I had left shoulder replacement. By January 9, 2018 I had complete range of motion. I am so happy with the results. Dr. Dolton is the man.
One of the most efficient doctor appointments I have ever had. I felt taken care of from the moment I walked in as a new patient. Thank you all!
Amazing service and care for me in a situation of requiring same day unplanned surgery. Everyone was compassionate and tried to make the process as easy as possible for me.
Dr. Howell is exactly the kind of doctor I need for my recent hand injury. He takes the time to explain the situation and then exactly what he plans to do about it. A severe injury to the hand is a scary thing for someone who makes a living with their hands, and Dr. Howell has put my mind at ease. I feel very confident that I am exactly where I need to be for the best recovery possible.
I was astonished at the level of professionalism, efficiency, attentiveness, and friendliness that I observed throughout my entire appointment. I went for my first appointment at Georgia Hand, Shoulder, & Elbow today for a surgery consult for my intense carpal tunnel syndrome, after being referred by my neurologist. Upon check-in, it was brought to my attention that my appointment was for the Marietta location. When I apologized for the error and expressed the frustration at myself and that I had driven over an hour to get there, not realizing my mistake, I was shown immediate compassion and empathy while the Marietta office was called on my behalf to explain the issue and inform them of the mistake. Then, the employee immediately took charge to see if one of the other surgeons would be able to fit me in. Luckily, I was called back to see Dr. Dalton after only a few minutes. I was expecting to have to trek back home and reschedule, causing my appointment to be pushed out for a month or so. This was very impressive and exceptional patient service! When you first arrive at your appointment, expect to fill out all of your info on one of their convenient iPads (very nice for CTS when it is painful to hand-write everything). If you fill out everything ahead of time on their extremely user-friendly and efficient website like I did, your info will automatically be there for you to double check for accuracy and sign, creating a quick and efficient check-in process. When called back, a consultant goes through your information with you, while you have the opportunity to explain any issues in more detail. If an x-ray is needed, as it was for me, you will be taken to the x-ray room for those and escorted back to your assigned room, which, by theway, is comfortable, roomy, and super clean. Like the consultant, the x-ray technician was as friendly and personable as everyone else I had met thus far. After no wait time at all, I talked to a couple of Mercer med student interns who asked in-depth questions to prep the surgeon with prior to his meeting with me. Like everyone else, they were extremely nice, professional and knowledgeable, exuding confidence for the practice and their expertise. Almost immediately afterwards, Dr. Dalton came in and surprised me with his masterful ability to explain my results and diagnosis in a way for me to understand. Dr. Dalton was extremely patient and took his time with me, providing complete focus and attentiveness towards me. Once we discussed my options and he was sure that I had no questions, he passed me along to the finance rep who quickly discussed my insurance coverage and expected out-of-pocket expenses after she had finished discussing it personally with my insurance provider. Everyone here was phenomenal and I would advise every medical practice to study their client management process to replicate for their own use, as this was my best medical practice experience ever.
I am so incredibly pleased with the care we have received with this practice. The entire staff is amazing and Dr. Seiler is just the best. What a great person and a very gifted doctor.
Dr. Payne's total demeanor is outstanding. He has been both responsive and responsible. I have yet to have surgery; however, the journey has been delightful. Therefore, I am positive my UCL of the thumb surgery will be successful and to my liking.
Was referred by DR doctor and very happy. Just hate in Atlanta as we live about two and half hours away.
The receptionist didn't know I had already registered on line when she handed me her tablet, I told her I had registered on line and she asked me "how was I supposed to know that". Guess the right hand does not communicate with the left. Then a lady came and got me. We walked to the back and she told me she was going to take X-rays and I told her I just had them on Monday and they were already pulled up at their office. She told me she didn't know that and no one told her. I guess the left doesn't communicate with the right. When the nurse came in to get my information she had no idea what was going. No one is communicating. That being said I really liked Dr. Starr. He had a huge confidence hole to climb out of and he did it and then some.
Very friendly staff. Great doctor!
A solid team that is good at getting through the process, providing updates and Dr. Starr delivered as discussed. Piedmont needs to continue to work on their integration and online capabilities to make the process quicker with prefilled in documents.
My experience with GHSE has been great from beginning to end. Everyone there is caring and knows exactly what they are doing and I couldn't be more pleased with my total experience. Dr. Starr was wonderful to work with.
Parking is always fairly easy. The staff and techs are warm and welcoming. The lobby is a spacious place to wait, although it seems I rarely ever wait long. Dr. Alexander shows genuine care and great expertise. I would definitely recommend his office and care to friends and family!
They treat you like a number. I waited in line for appointments forever. Theyre one of those places with 5 waiting rooms, and they pass you off between different people to sit in different waiting rooms for longer. Through my entire process, from start to finish, including the day of surgery, I was in the presence of my doctor for no more than 30 minutes over no less than 5 visits. 15 minutes the first time, to reel me in, then 2-3 minutes for two visits, 2 minutes before surgery, then 5 minutes and 2 minutes for two appointments afterward. They refuse treatment, even minor appointments, without full payment in advance. They were sure to tell me they would cancel (and charge me for the cancellation) anything I couldn't pay for in advance, insurance notwithstanding. They treat you very suspiciously, they're rude and cold, like you already got them once or something, lol. The doctor did the "old fashioned" version of my procedure instead of the newer method, which leaves less scarring and has less recovery time; when I asked why he did this he said, "It's how we've always done it." Which made me wonder why he didn't just hack it off and then put leaches on it, since that's how they used to do it... They kept setting me appointments every two weeks, for no reason but to "watch my progress" and charge me 300 bucks a visit. The doctor barely stuck his head in the door, but they were glad to x ray me till i glowed in the dark, and sell me a brace for a hundred bucks that did not fit, so i replaced it with the same brand, new but larger size, from ebay, for 12 bucks! The thing is, it didn't fit, i told them it didn't fit, they said it was mine anyway, and sent me home with it. they said it would loosen up. I turned purple instead! When I told the doctor, he laughed; that's all. Now, 2 days after receiving my first ever bill in the mail ( months after my surgery because the office lost my address) I'm getting calls from their collections robot; its calls are literally 15 minutes apart, and its sooo slooow, and annoying. I've asked them to stop calling and they will not stop! And its only the bill for my last visit, which they couldn't charge me, due to fault of their own, while i was in the office. Last, and worst of all, my now failed surgery will need to be repaired by a competent professional - basically anyone who does not work at ghse. They just so obviously don't care about their patients beyond getting paid for the hack job they do on you, that its not funny. Stay away, fair warning.
Dr. Alexander and team lightened the weight of what was a traumatic life changing event. ALL people involved with my year and a half long experience at GA hand, shoulder & elbow were and are a pleasure to be around I will forever be thankful and grateful for the treatment, rehab, and staff of this group of people who welcomed me with understanding and respect. I would give them 2 thumbs up, but I only have 1.75 to give. Ha is for Harper
I was seen quickly in office and Dr. explained level of healing that had taken place and realistic expectations for future function of shoulder.
Excellent experience. Dr dalton was amazing. It was refreshing to have someone actually listen and address your questions. He was very thorough and great at communicating what can be done. The staff were also excellent. I am very happy we chose GA HSA. Great team.
We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Seiler.
His bedside manner and professionalism were the best I've experienced. I felt confident in the work and the experience was quite good given the circumstances.
Dr. Seiler is the best orthopaedist for shoulders. He is also a gentleman. His staff is outstanding. I speak as a PBK member.
Dr. Howell is by far the very best. I had another “hand surgeon “ before Dr. Howell. Dr. Howell not only fixed my hand and not only my hand(s), he showed me empathy and compassion. I thank God for him and for Dan Acker, my therapist. They helped me love myself again. And for that, I am eternally grateful. ❤️
Professional, welcoming office/staff. Dr. Payne is both Knowledgeable and reassuring!
Grear doctor. Explains health care well. Great staff. Good PT dept. very please with entire visit
Dr Payne is great I am very pleased with my care and treatment at this point thank you for your level of service
Dr. Seiler fit me into his busy schedule when I had to cancel my appointment with Dr. Payne, who performed my surgery and I think is amazing.
I have seen Dr. Payne quite a few times over the past few years (yes, unfortunately, I tend to be a bit injury-prone) and I highly recommend him. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, but also he always takes the time to thoroughly explain things to me in layman's terms so that I am able to understand his plans of action to get me back on track---and minimize my downtime from sports and exercise.
Dr. Houston Payne is an exceptional hand surgeon. I am an anesthesiologist and have worked with many hand surgeons including Dr. Payne over the years and he is in the top 1% of hand surgeons. I chose him for my surgery last month. He is not only extremely gifted as a surgeon but one of the nicest surgeons I have ever known.
Dr. Alexander and staff are an amazing group of people. I recently had surgery and felt a little anxious, the nurses made sure to answer all questions and calmed my fears during the entire awakened procedure. I instantly felt relief from carpal tunnel release surgery. Very knowledgeable and informative team.
Dr. Dalton and his staff are fantastic and I speak from experience. My husband had 3 hand surgeries here and recieved excellent care, from the Doctor, the nurses, and the office staff. I have recommended them to several and will continue to do so.
Ariana Madrid is extremely rude and unprofessional. She needs to talk to ALL her patients professionally and lose her attitude.
Amazing care at Dr.Seiler's office today! The combination of Dr. Seiler's expertise & excellent bedside manner & the courtesy & friendliness of his staff cannot be matched! This group is the BEST!
Everything on time - Dr. Starr thorough and extremely pleasant and caring. Explained options well ! One shot, on to Therapy.
Dr. Howell is an excellent doctor. He knows his business, in addition he is friendly and provides excellent service. So nice to see doctor like him
Excellent customer service. Modern in everyway. This is a state of the art facility. The assistants nurses and doctors are attentive and easy to talk to.
Dr. Starr is an AMAZING physician and the staff at Ga Hand, Shoulder & elbow are so very professional! From the very moment you enter the reception area to the moment you leave the staff is wonderful, I especially want to thank Mindy Hart & Troy in the Atlanta office and Ticia Brooks at the Marietta location.
Dr Howell is Very knowledgeable and I planning my surgery with him.
Simply amazing since the first day I arrived wonderful staff clean establishment and Dr. Starr is very helpful and knowledgeable
Dr. Dalton is the best and this group is the best upper extremity specialist in the metro
Dr. Alexander was absolutely refreshing. Confident, explains in detail, attentive and listens intently to my concerns. I honestly was blown away by his customer service. He was my 2nd opinion, however I'll stay with him and leave the other establishment.
As fairly new patient of Dr. Alexander, I remain satisfied and completely confident in the care and advice he provides me. Although I reside in Iowa, I intend to utilize Dr. Alexander's services for any major future health needs concerning my current or any new condition that might arise.
Very organized, on time, efficient, friendly, excellent doctor! (Dr. Alexander) I thought I had a rotator cuff tear, and was sure I needed surgery; Dr. Alexander gave it a cortisone shot and sent me downstairs to their fabulous physical therapy facility, and after a month, I'm so much better....at least 50% of the way to a new shoulder, I hope!
Dr Alexander truly shows concern and listens to his patients. And both of the surgeries he did were an outstanding success! Office staff are all super to work with as well, from helping with paperwork before surgery to checking in or answering questions. Top notch group!
Dr. Payne is personable and awesome. Makes you feel part of the "family".
This was a follow-up on a shoulder replacement for my wife. We were promptly taken care of, even though we arrived a half hour early. The staff was warm and courteous, and Dr. Dalton made us feel confident in the surgery and prospects for recovery. We were VERY pleased with the performance of the surgery and the excellent way it has turned out!
Dr. Dalton is a great physician and person. I had,a total elbow replacement almost four years ago and I am completely pain free, do when I needed shoulder surgery there was no question who the surgeon would be. Four months post-op and I have great motionwith little pain. I recommend Dr. Dalton and this office highly!
No one wants to break their arm, go to the doctor, and have surgery; BUT, if you have to, you better go to GHSE. After visiting another Ortho doc after breaking my arm in a car accident, I (thankfully) got a second opinion with GHSE. From the moment I walked into their office, I felt comfortable (which is hard to feel in a doc office). The staff was so friendly and caring, including the x-ray technician, and Dr. Starr's "bedside manner" should be copied by every doctor. He quickly found that the previous doctor's advice to "see if things could heal on their own" was inaccurate and had surgery scheduled the same week (even having him leave a conference early to make sure I was seen ASAP). Normally, I'd think a doctor trying to get me into surgery would be to make money, but I could tell that this was the last option he wanted for me.. Fast forward, surgery was even harder than he imagined but went very well and I've had no complications (even when I could've had some nerve damage due to waiting too long before surgery). He also said he made sure to stitch me up really well so that this horrible cut (to put a big, metal plate in my arm) wouldn't be as visible as it could be and the scar really does look great! If I ever have to be seen by another doctor for anything from my hand to my shoulder, I'm going to back to him (and have recommended him to so many people already).
Dr. Howell, he a very good doctor I don't have a long wait when I go there I am in and out. They should have free parking for Patient, that the only bad thing to say
Pleasant office visit. Dr Starr was informative and likable. Only negative was paying for parking at the office building but I guess that's expected in that area of Atlanta.
Dr. Alexander is great. He is timely and always delivers. I came to him following a car wreck and over the matter of years he's given clear direction and forward thinking answers for my wrist pain. I 100% suggest his methods!
Great experience! The staff (front & back office) are friendly and professional. Dr. Seiler is very personable and took time to answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed. I highly recommend this specialized practice.
Excellent!! Took my 17 year old son, Dr. Seiller's bed side manner was wonderful. Would go back to him any time we need a hand specialist!!
Great physician and office staff. Both locations were very professional and impeccable service.
Dr. Dalton and the entire staff at GHSE are incredibly attentive and friendly. All questions were quickly answered and the procedure explained. A very professional group of providers.
Very personable and showed a lot of empathy toward my consideration. He gave best and worst case scenarios talked about advantages and disavantages of both to enable me to truly make an informed decision.
Physician was professional and showed a genuine concern. Asked me my symptoms vs. telling me what my symptoms are. Gave me a continuation plan to heal my shoulder and explained a follow up plan. Very worth while visit.
I got a second opinion from Dr. Dalton about a shoulder injury, since I had had such a great experience with him in the past RE a seperate injury. He was able to find a fracture that had been hidden due to swelling. If I had listened to the other doctor, who said I just needed to ice my bruised shoulder, I would be in serious trouble. Dr. John Dalton is a true pro and a good guy and I will recommend him to everyone.
Absolutely great staff. Very personable and professional. Dr actually took time to explain what was going and answered all my questions. Hopefully I'll never need their services again, but if I have any issues this place the office I would seek.
I have now visited twice for my injured finger. Thus far, my experiences have been fabulous; I have been seeing Dr. Starr. Dr. Starr has taken great care of me while informing me exactly what to do between each visit. He also offers to answer questions via phone between visits if needed. After numerous previous stops at various other practices, I am confident to say that Georgia Hand, Shoulder, & Elbow has provided the best and most caring medical support. I will update my post at the end of my healing process, but so far I could not ask for better care. 5 stars, I would highly recommend.
Knowledgeable Doctor. Trust him. Dr. Robert Howell knows his specialty, hands.
Very professional Doctor and office staff. They are great with preventive medicine. The care given to me today will help avoid future surgery. Dr Alexander made the procedure as painless as possible. The area treated was numbed to reduce pain when a needle was injected into the hand. His procedure room demeanor is fantastic. Dr Alexander is the best hand surgeon in Georgia. Anyone with hand problems can get the best results at Georgia hand.
This man, Dr Dalton, has a talent straight from heaven. What he was able to do to repair my wrist (severed tendons, nerves and artery) is nothing short of a miracle. I might add, his OT staff is second to none.
Very nice Doctor. Goes straight to the point about your pain. Very well.
Dr. Dalton was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained what was going on with my shoulder and set out all my options for treatment, including worse-case scenario, which he assured me was not likely but he wanted to give full picture. Overall, I feel confident in his treatment and would recommend his practice to others.
Dr Howell is excellent...he took plenty of time to thoroughly explain everything.
It has been one year since my first encounter with GHS&E. Words can not express the gratitude I have for Dr. Sieler and the entire staff. 12/8/2017 my left arm was crushed in a MVA, rollover. The trauma surgeons in Florida save the arm, however, I needed many more surgeries and intensive therapy. I consulted several surgeons in my state of Florida and they all told me that my injuries were beyond their scope of expertise. I was heartbroken. I did my research and traveled to Georgia. Since being under the care of GHS&E ,I have regained some sensation and movement in my hand and arm. I feel like Family whenever I walk thru their doors. My therapist are Absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable with the latest technological advances. I highly recommend this group for anyone seeking orthopaedic surgery and therapy.
The care my doctor takes with me as a patient. I feel that I am in good hands with Dr. Sieler. I am grateful to my doctor for the referral. The Physical therapist is awesome, caring, patient, and very knowledge.
I have had four trigger finger surgeries, one carpel tunnel surgery and a repair of a tendon in my right elbow. I would not trust my hands or elbow to anyone else. Hope I don't need to see him for a shoulder. Also his therapy department is wonderful.
Dr. Payne at GA Hand, Shoulder, and Elbow is the best! He has treated me for hand issues for many years, and recently an elbow problem. He is a patient man and very knowledgeable. Very personable as well. The front and back office staff are great too! Highly recommend!
Just fantastic from start to finish! I hardly waited at all, the staff were so friendly, they have an in-house x-ray machine so we got instant results. I was diagnosed quickly, accurately and the diagnosis was explained simply. I was able to get a cortisone shot right away and was prescribed PT. Highly recommend this practice!!
Dr. Dalton has a chip on his hand, shoulder, and elbow. I was here for an appointment 3 weeks ago and decided to leave a review because the experience is still bothering me. Dr. Dalton walked into to room, seemingly made a judgement about me, and conducted the appointment like a "Law and Order" style interrogation. I was so taken aback by his tone and line of questioning, that when asked, I couldn't even remember the name of the physical therapy facility where I had been getting treatment for over a month. I sat there trying to process what was happening. He was curt and accusatory. The appointment was unnecessarily hostile. I felt humiliated and was nearly in tears when I left. I was angry with myself for not being a better advocate for myself and my pain. Dr. Dalton was both condescending and dismissive. If you are having issues and workers compensation is a factor, I recommend going to another doctor. You need someone who'll listen to you and offer solutions. It was an overall INFURIATING experience.
Very very good with patients. Determined to help me figure out what is going on with my hand.
Dr. Starr and staff were amazing!! I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family!! I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with arm troubles!! They are kind, gentle, very professional, they understood I was a mom first and foremost and helped me get through my issues swimmingly!!
Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Took the time to explain our steps for healing going forward. Feel very safe in their hands!
Dr. Seiler is always very open and knowledgeable with his advice. He will always suggest phyical or occupational therapy before rushing into surgery when appropriate. Despite damage from Rhumatoid Arthritis, he has offered me a path to many more years of functionality with my hands and wrists!
I had a great experience yesterday at GHS&E. Dr. Payne was kind enough to see me on very short notice and set my mind at ease finding no severe structural damage in my finger. His analysis and suggestions were very helpful setting me on the right track to a full and complete recovery. I highly recommend GHS&E!
I’m very pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Seiler. He is professional, pleasant, punctual and skilled. He has treated me for 2 trigger finger release surgeries and is managing my Dupuytren’s disease.
One of the best experiences with a medical pro in years. Dr Seiler’s great. But his assistants maybe even a little better.
Dr. Starr and his staff are the best. Pleased with his knowledge, efficiency and manners. Good experience. The staff is very competent courteous and they make me smile. They made me feel very comfortable .
Dr Payne (unlike his name) made my recovery as comfortable and easy as can be! He is so skilled and has a warm manner that is exactly what the doctor ordered. Highly recommend this expert!
Dr. Payne has an incredible bedside manner and caring for his patients; you can sense his sincerity in caring for you. He is one of the few surgeons in the area who could have repaired the injury to my finger and, even though it may just be a finger, it is life-changing just having it versus not. It was an off-hours injury but he immediately made himself available when it was explained that it was him or amputation; I can't thank him and his team enough. I am forever grateful and the follow-up care has been amazing. Thanks Dr. Payne!
Awesome experience. Staff was friendly and Dr. very professional and explained everything in understandable form.
Everyone is professional while bringing a friendly atmosphere. Everyone is great.
Always kind, personable, and thorough, Dr. Alexander takes his time with thoughtful diagnoses and treatment plans.
Doctor Payne is very knowledgeable. He and his staff take the time to thoroughly go over all of the information with you they do not rush you. I have been through 6 workman's comp doctors none of which had a clue and in fact told me that my injury was not repairable. Doctor Payne not only had seen my injury before but has also successfully repaired it. He and his staff have also been very patient helping me get all the information I need to work through the workman's comps obstacles to change doctors call.
The wait to be seen can be LONG, over an hour today but Dr. Payne is the best and I get his undivided attention
We ❤️ Dr. Seiler and his staff. They are all so friendly and kind, and his bedside manner is exceptional. The only time we had to wait a long time was a true surgery emergency--and they really did their best to work around our daughter's school schedule. The therapy staff is also fabulous. Honestly, one of the best medical offices we've dealt with over the years!
Really great experience, Dr. Starr is awesome and takes his time and listens. Other than the long wait to get back, which can’t always be helped, I would definitely recommend and feel good about the treatment I’m receiving.
The staff is professional and kind. Dr Starr is an incredible surgeon with amazing bedside manor. He made my teenage daughter feel comfortable before and after surgery. Her hand has healed completely and you would never know she had surgery except on X-ray you’d see the screws. The scar is barely visible, which is important to a young girl. We are so grateful we were referred here and would recommend them to everyone, especially Dr Starr!
Very impressed with the support staff, Dr. Seiler and their beautiful facility!
The wait time was a bit long but the Doctor was very knowlegeable and took time to listen and suggest alternatives to surgery. I appreciate the time he took and he was very gentle when doing a in office procedure. i will go back.
The office staff is the best always friendly with a smile. There are times there maybe a small waiting period until I am called to see my doctor. Also during the waiting period my time is always pleasant and comfortable. Dr. Dalton is very detail and believe in what is best for his patients. I can say I am in good hands glad I made the decision to take my business to Georgia Hand, Shoulder & Elbow.
The staff is super attentive and friendly. Dr. Alexander listens to all your concerns and addresses each one thoroughly ☺️
Dr. Dalton is a very good orthopedic surgeon. He takes the time to explain the situation and give you the best possible options. He is patient as well in answering all your questions.
Passionate about his work and caring for is patients. Extremely thorough.
I went to Dr. Alexander because he did a masterful job of reconstructing our son's damaged hand and because he understands the importance of proper hand function for musicians. (I believe he plays music himself) He is easy to understand, skilled (actually, maybe "talented" is also applicable since he had to be quite creative in repairing our son's hand.) I have the feeling that whatever problem you may have, he's seen it or a something close. The physical therapy part of the practice also seems top notch in my limited experience. I'm relying on these fine people to keep me operational.
AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. THE STAFF US VERY FRIENDLY AND ON POINT. Dr. PAYNE US AWESOME! THANK YOU FOR THE AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Could not ask for a nicer and more competent staff! The wait was a bit long that day, but sometimes waiting is unavoidable. Very satisfied. Great group of Docs and staff.
Dr. Seiler is amazing! I was very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of this office, yet everyone there was friendly and caring. I worked in the medical field for 25 years and this was the best experience I have ever had.
First visit with the group, Dr. Seiler and staff were exceptional. Dr. Seiler was very thorough and understanding of your needs which is what I like. Keep up the good work!
I was very nervous about my minor hand surgery. When I arrived at the surgery center Dr. Seiler, Chris and Kai were confident and reassuring. As a dentist, I knew that the shots would hurt. After the injections I had no pain and never needed even an Advil afterwards! The next day I was able to do surgery for my patients with more flexibility than I have had in months. Their care combined with the excellent therapy staff was fantastic!
I like the people there they are very friendly and helpful doctor Payne is a great surgeon
The best in the business. Incredibly intelligent and incredibly attentive to figure out the best solution for your individual needs. Such a pleasant and efficient office.
Staff is very caring and professional. Excellent customer service.
Dr. Randall Alexander is Spectacular.. He did a Carpal Tunnel Surgery & a Ulnar Nerve Transposition Surgery 6 Weeks ago and My Arm Strength is already 90% back to Normal. I could not be any happier with the outcome.. You hear of people having these surgeries and running into complications. Thats why when my Knee Doctor recommended Dr. Alexander as being the Best in his field, I went to him. He's also Very Nice and explains everything. If you have Shoulder, Elbow or Hand problem there's nobody better than Dr. Alexander. His Staff is Top Notch also. Eric M.
Georgia Hand, Shoulder and Elbow is always on it. We have received such good service each time we are there. Dr. Starr is professional and takes time to make sure we understand what is going on at each visit.
Dr. Dalton was awesome. I can relate to him. He listens to me. He makes decisions and I have confidence in what he is sharing around my well being. I'm glad he is my doctor.
Efficient in processing preop information and answering questions. I like the doctor and staff but not the inconvenience of time and paperwork required in going to Piedmont for preop testing.
Had to wait quite a bit. Once appointment began, staff very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Dr. John Seiler III very professional and friendly as well. He explained thoroughly my options in a way I understood. In addition he answered all my questions, some before I could ask. Moreover, he listened attentively to my responses.
Dr. Payne is the BEST! He is nice, considerate of your time and has worked well with my 13 year old. Thanks!
Dr. Alexander was an expert in managing hand pain, and he provided both immediate pain relief via injections and a plan to relieve pain in the longer term via PT. I was able to see a PT while I was there, and again Daniel had the expertise to start me on therapy as well as suggestions to alter movements to avoid further stressing my thumbs and related muscles. He also provided braces to support my painful joints, giving me further immediate relief. With both Dr. Alexander and Daniel I appreciated the clear explanations and plans going forward.
Dr an staff are great knowing how to treat people an doing their job greatly appreciated
Excellent service. Dr. Payne is outstanding. The best staff ever. Never have had anything to complain about in the several years I have been seeing Dr. Payne. Wouldn’t go anyplace else. Deborah L. Carter, M.D.
Dr Alexander was great! He and his staff are wonderful and truly care for all their patients! He saved my finger. I’m so thankful for him!
I am very please with my visits at Georgia Hand, Shoulder & Elbow, I am especially pleased with Dr. Starr and the staff. Thanks a lot for being so wonderful. Thanks to Phillip for all my physical therapy treatments.
Dr McMillan was very very good. He is detailed and a compassionate physician.
Dr. Dalton saved my wrist. I had seen several orthopedist that could not determine my wrist pain, and Dr Dalton immediately identified and operated on a small fracture in my wrist. He was incredibly patient and thorough when explaining my options and recovery process. The staff and office are very friendly and make you feel comfortable throughout the experience. If you are looking for a professional top notch orthopedist in Atlanta, visit Dr Dalton and his team.
Dr. Seiler is great! He's easy to talk to, and clearly very knowledgable in his specialty. No pun intended, but I feel like I'm in very good hands! :-)
Doc Dalton is great. Very bright, pleasant, and caring. The practice is very poorly run. The doctor is always overbooked. There is absolutely no respect for patients' time or their efforts to be on time. It seems that the practice is run for the convenience of the support staff and for the profit of the shareholders rather than benefit of the patients. It seems like there is a greater focus on covering the overhead of a big, fancy, new facility then taking care of patients and meeting the needs of the doctors. It is a textbook case of big corporate medicine turning healthcare into a production line.
Dr. Dalton is a knowledgeable, considerate care giver with up to date information that he shares and discusses with you. A doctor you would recommend to anyone in need of his expert care.
Friendly staff. Dr. Seiler is a very knowledgeable and experienced person. He explained my options but ultimately was only intreated in what would work best for me.
Dr Payne and his entire staff are the type of professionals you hope for but rarely get.He is an excellent clinician and has excellent rapport with patients. He takes the time to address both his and your concerns. It doesn’t matter how many other patients he has scheduled, he will sit and go over every aspect till you both or satisfied. ... then I am sure he will do same for every other patient. Those qualities are what should be norm and as he proves there are doctors/surgeons out there that provide that level of care. His entire staff from front office , assistant, radiology tech, ortho MA are all on board...kind, courteous, experienced in their job and caring! I couldn’t be more thrilled by my care! Thank you all! Patty M.
Dr.Alexander was friendly, listened to my questions and answered my questions in easily understandable language. He presented a clear diagnosis as well as Treatment Plan options. Thanks Dr.Alexander!
I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Seiler. He was relaxed, listened intently and gave me all the time I needed with him. I liked his demeanor, tone, communication and doctor-patient interaction. After explaining my symptoms, he went directly to the areas of my hand, wrist and forearm that was paining me. Without telling him, he began to manipulate my hand and wrist in the exact manner I use it which was causing me pain. He asked questions, asked if I had questions/concerns; made a diagnosis, took X-rays, and sent me to therapy immediately following the appointment for a custom splint to mobilize the area. Every staff member I had contact with smiled, made eye contact, spoke friendly and was energetic. My visit and experience was a very good one.
As always, great experience with everyone I met at GAHSE. The practice is very well organized and staffed with superb talent. I feel very well taken care of and confident in my treatment plan.
I liked Dr Starr's approach to my thumb ligament concerns. He measured the range-of-motion, went over my xray with me, answered my questions, etc. Would definitely recommend.
They squeezed us in on a last minute notice. Entire staff very friendly and professional. Doctor Seiler was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Dr. Starr was very professional, caring and knowledgable. I have full confidence in him and look forward to a successful operation and recovery.
Doctor Alexander and the Therapist Philip took really good care of me through my recovery after losing most of three of my fingers on my dominate hand Thank you so much
Dr. Seiler is amazing - he was always patient with my 7 year old who asks a lot of questions:)
