I choose Dr Okoro and his staff based off of his posted work/pictures, reviews from other patients, and friendliness at the office. Dr Okoro’s staff reassured me that i was being treated by the right people based on their professionalism and warmth. I consulted with other doctors, but in the end felt i made the right choice. After my procedure, i came in for a pop-up appointment because i don’t handle pain very well and he took time away from his surgery day to see me. I felt better right after and one month post op I’m loving my results!

There's nothing good or honest about a surgeon and staff who can coward out on patients dreams so easily. I had set a goal and I picked Dr. Okoro out for my procedure back 2013, I was really excited. Unfortunately things just didn't work out for me. Update: 07/30/2019 Okay, my review came off very strong and harsh, I admit it, but it is sad that was the only way I got a response from your office. I was actually being polite with my review, and yes was my opinion. however, your need to reflect on your HIGH standards, and follow that up by calling my dreams UNREALISTIC is not a good representation of how classy or sensitive your ethics are as a medical staff member or professional. I don't need your luck, I've already been blessed.

Dr. Okoro is a genius. I had breast augmebtation with lipo and he made ne feel so much better, especially after having a baby with loose skin and very small breasts. He and all of his staff make you feel extremely comfortable and at ease about your procedure. There is a reason he is award winning. Dr. Okoro was good. I had moles removed from my face and he did a good job. But I would never go back ONLY because the office staff. As I was signing the papers there was a line for me to intial that I would pay any further charges. This alarmed me, so I went to the receptionist and asked her if there would be ANY charges after this because I had already paid. She assured me I wouldn’t be charged anything else after the surgery. I asked if she was certain and she got on the phone and asked someone else to verify. She then came back to me and said there would definitely NOT be any charges. I received a bill from wellstar for $99. So I called Aggie and she told me to send her a copy of the bill and she would help me. After 3 weeks she still had not called me back. I called several times and was once again being put off by someone telling me they would have someone call me. I continued receiving more bills from Wellstar, now with late fees. I also was told when I made my consultation appt that the $75 would go towards the surgery. Then I later found out that money was not put towards the surgery. Aggie was so rude to me and I sit here nearly 5 months later and the bill has not been paid.

I usually don’t do reviews, but this is one of the biggest decisions and experiences of my life. Dr. Okoro and his staff did a FABULOUS job with my procedure in June. The whole office experience was awesome. Very friendly and efficient. Dr. Okoro was very professional and down to earth at the same time, which made my choice easier. He took his time in explaining what I can expect after my procedure as far as results, and he was even honest and upfront in informing me that a partial of my tattoo would have to be removed to achieve those results, which I was ok with. I was well informed at Pre-op, and they made sure all my questions were answered. I was even provided with the PA’s email incase I had extra questions before and after surgery. They made me feel very comfortable. My surgery went well, no complications at all, thank God!!! With the help and advise from Dr Okoro and the Physician Assistants, the post op went very well. I am now one month and one week post, and I’m feeling GREAT!!! I have been getting so many wonderful compliments while my results aren’t even final yet. I Love love love what I’m looking like so far, and so excited to see my final transformation in the months to come. To Dr Okoro, his wonderful PA’s Scarlett and Sherry, and the whole rest of the awesome staff... I feel great about the decision I made in choosing your practice. You guys are amazing, and you made my dream come true.

This a a quite lengthy review but a GREAT review based on my PAR EXCELLENT experience! First of all, I have been a patient of Dr. Stanley A. Okoro for many years. He has performed a Full Tummy Tuck and Liposuction, Back, Thighs and Arms Liposuction with a nonsurgical tightening procedure. I am VERY VERY VERY happy with all of the procedure. I came out with no complications non whatsoever. DR. Okoro's work is Phenomenal second to none! This very day my stomach is flat as a board with very very little scarring. He made a clean and precise cut. He is gifted and talented in his profession as a double board certified plastic surgeon that is back up with the highest accreditation that puts him among the elite in his field. The gift, talent, and skill is there, however, his bedside manners and notable COMPASSION is far exceeds the norm. Let me give a little backstory to confirm my statement. I was recently seen by a massage therapist, chiropractor, and back doctor. After x-rays and MRI and many session of Decompression therapy that helped relieve some the pain but not relieve the pressure and heaviness that I was experienced with my breast growing from a C-cup to a DDD cup. This growth was due to hormonal imbalances and me going through perimenopause. The back doctor referred me to a doctor where I lived which is 9 hours from Dr. Okoro's Office in Marietta, GA. I went in for a consult with the doctor that I will not name. All I can say is the office was ran like a automobile assembly line. From the first initial call from the doctor's office to the gathering of information that the insurance company needed to preauthorize this medically necessary surgery I felt like I was a number, the office setting was impersonal and cold. I view a breast surgery as being very personal, as a matter of fact I view all surgery procedures as personal. Any questions I wanted answered I had to get them answered in a group setting and had to wait a month until they had enough people for a group setting. It was quite awkward for me especially after having experienced such a personable, warm, caring and COMPASSIONATE environment at Georgia Plastics and Reconsructive Surgery. At this point, I remembered that Dr. Okoro does not only cosmetic surgeries but he does Reconstructive surgeries. Although I had already been preapproved and scheduled for the breast reduction and lift surgery at the cold and uninviting office I made a phone call to Dr. Okoro's Office, explained my condition, circumstances and the time constraints that I was up against. For a process that could have been quite overwhelming the Administration office and Dr. Okoro's medical team made it quite easy for me. A personal consultation appointment was scheduled in a timely manner for me, all of the paperwork that need to be transferred from the other doctors offices and completed for resubmittion to the insurance company was filed expeditiously by the insurance specialist, Toni. The Head of Administration, Aggie, ensured that every single thing was taking care of regarding my case in a professional manner. I applaud the entire Administration Staff at Georgia Plastics Reconstructive Surgery, Marietta, GA. Everything is done with such genuine care, compassion and concern. I want to personally THANK Dr. Okoro for a Big Sacrifice and Special Accommodations that he made in doing my surgery the same day he was going to Nigeria to work, "What a DOCTOR"and that wasn't the end of it. He had prepared me to see Dr. Park after who assisted him with my breast reduction and lift surgery. I was in shock when I woke up to see him at my bedside letting me know the surgery was very SUCCESSFUL and went VERY VERY WELL! I DON'T even know a doctor that would do that! Now to put the icing on the cake with 10 cherries when I received a call from Dr. Okoro right after he landed in Nigeria 1 day Post Operative just to see how I was doing and feeling. That literally brought tears to my eyes! WHAT DOCTOR DOES THAT NONE OTHER THAN THE OUTSTANDING AND NOTABLE DR. STANLEY A. OKORO, MD. I Commend his ENTIRE TEAM!
