I went to Dr. Castelllano last year for a breast augmentation and lift. It Turned out awful. They are saggy and I have rippling on my left breast due to the implant. When I addressed the issue to Dr. Castellano, he said there is nothing he can do with the way my breast are. What does that even mean? I wish he would have told me this before I spent 10 grand and went through surgery and now have horrible scaring. Also the staff was awful and they don’t call you back. I have such horrible anxiety over the whole experience.

Dr. Castellano is very nice, very professional, extremely knowledgeable, very smart, has all the credentials and all the amazing reviews you would want in a doctor, and has a beautiful office with a wonderful staff. I did quite a bit of research before going there, and I was very happy after the initial consultation. This is something I have wanted basically my entire life, so I was completely thrilled when a year and a half ago I was finally able to get them. This was also my first and only experience with cosmetic surgery, and Dr. Castellano and Pam really take time to make sure you are well taken care of. The surgery was a lot less painful than I had anticipated, and I was able to move around comfortably within a day or two. Obviously it took longer to do more strenuous activity, but that's to be expected, and that was fine. I did not have any issues with the actual surgery, recovery, etc, so overall it was totally it. I would come back to him in a heartbeat. He’s an amazing doctor with amazing staff. I honestly couldn’t be more happy with my results. Honestly, it took me a while to accept that they will never be completely 100% identical and symmetrical (they still look amazing!!).. but neither will anyone else’s!! Nothing is perfect and it would be foolish for you to expect that. They look great, they feel great, and I’m editing this three years later and I am still just as thrilled with them as I was when they were first implanted. Thanks again guys.

Dr. Castellano is very professional and caring with his patients. He and Pam, his PA, are wonderful!!! The entire staff does a great job with instructions and answering any questions or concerns you may have. I originally went to Dr. Castellano about 6 months ago for a breast lift/reduction and C02 Laser Resurfacing of my face. I was very nervous at my first visit, but Dr. Castellano and Pam were great! They made me feel very comfortable in what, to me, was a very awkward situation. As part of the pre-op procedure, I was required to have current mammogram results. I had just had one a few days before my initial consult, but had not received the results yet. The results turned out to be negative and I was not able to proceed with the breast lift/reduction surgery until that was resolved. I had a Lumpetcomy and Lymph node removal along with an Bilat Oncoplastic Lift/Reduction with an Oncologist. My Oncologist did a great job, but he is not a plastic surgeon, so I did not get the exact results I had planned to get with this surgery. I am still in the healing process, so we will see how that all turns out. In the meantime, I went ahead with Upper and Lower Lid Blepharoplasty surgery and Co2 Laser Resurfacing with Dr. Castellano. Again he and his staff were amazing, very accommodating and helpful with any question or concerns. Dr. Castellano personally called the evening of my surgery to make sure everything was going ok. I was pleasantly surprised that he took the time from a long day of surgeries to personally call. That is how dedicated he is to his patients. I am on day 6 of my recover and it looks amazing, so glad I did it!!! The Blepharoplasty part was virtually pain free, the laser recovery is a bit painful, but worth the results. I would recommend Dr. Castellano for any plastic surgery you would be considering. After I complete my recovery from the Bilat Oncoplastic Lift Reduction, I will definitely be going to Dr. Castellano if I need any touch up!!!

I am one week post op from a breast lift with augmentation and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results so far! Recovery has been relatively easy after the first 2 days. Dr. Castellano heard my opinions and gave his own educated advice from what he saw during my consultation and exceeded my expectations after surgery! Castellano was my first consult of 4 located in Tampa and Clearwater. Out of the 4 consults - my heart was already set on Dr. Castellano - his office staff is friendly, he is well educated and professional, the whole office is clean and inviting, the recovery nurses were warm and comforting. After deflating a breast implant and returning to my original surgeon for correction only to end up with two horrifically different sized breasts, I elected to have Dr. Joseph Castellano perform the corrective surgery needed so that the width, diameter, volume, nipple height, etc. matched from one breast to another. I knew going into surgery that I couldn't walk away with anything worse than I already had, but glory to all that is good!!!...Castellano artistically reconstructed my breasts, leaving me with the most beautifully perfect results I could have ever wished for. Having had two prior breast augmentations, I did not believe it was possible to achieve the cleavage, slope, etc. that I wanted. Where I twice had everything I hated about a boob job, Castellano gave me every single thing that I love about them. Please take it from someone who's made the mistake and go straight to Castellano. You will be so pleased that even the most conservative of women will be flaunting this man's artwork. Thank you for fixing me doc. I am eternally grateful for what you've done.

My initial visit was $600 for lip filler. I had horrific bumps in my lips afterwards. I had to pay $150 to have it removed elsewhere after Dr Castlellano was unable to get the bumps out TWICE . I requested my money back but he refused. Feeling like I had no other choice but to return to this office and use my "credit'', I did against my better judgment. I booked with a different Dr at his office because I felt it would be awkward to have it done again by Dr Castellano since we had exchanged emails about how unhappy I was and how unhappy and unfair I felt it was that he wouldn't refund my money. Imagine my shock and horror when I realized that I would be charged another $600 when I went back for my "credit" I still had there because the new Dr put my "free" syringe all in my top lip so forcing me to buy another for my bottom lip. They were so huge from TWO syringes used, that I had to then go back AGAIN to the other separate Dr.s office in South Tampa to remove this filler AGAIN for $150 because I couldn't stand to go back into Dr Castlellanos office again after all of these horrible experiences. I paid $1200 to Dr Castellano and $300 to the other spa to get my lips back to where they were before I ever walked into Dr. Castellanos office for a grand total of $1500. I am extremely disappointed in how I was treated there on top of how my lips turned out TWICE. I will never return to his office again and should have just let him keep my $600 that he refused to give me back even with my horrible results with bumps in my lips visible to anyone when I looked at them and spoke.

His office staff is welcoming and friendly and his nurse was exceptional answering any questions or concerns that myself or my husband had. Experience far exceeded our expectations!!!! I have wanted breast augmentation surgery for several years. More than many times, I have heard word of mouth of Dr. Castellano's talented breast augmentation work. I did my own thorough due diligence on Dr. Joseph Castellano and his team. I finally decided to take the first step with booking a consultation on a Monday in Feb at his office. I booked the appointment in late January for first available which was booked for two weeks later. It was great timing to truly consider my consultation and it allowed reality to set in. I invited my boyfriend to join me as his opinion mattered and he would be taking care of me if i moved forward with the procedure. Monday we went to my appointment. We were told the appointment would take no longer than an hour as Dr. Castellano is very respectful of other's time and schedule. As promised, we were called right in and taken care of in the allotted time. Immediately, we were greeted. Once in the room, we were made very comfortable and given a lot of helpful information. I felt very comfortable in a possibly awkward situation. Dr. Castellano and Pam his nurse were wonderful! They never made my boyfriend or I feel rushed or ignorant for any question or concern. After, an hour with his office and a lot of one on one time to answer any questions we left the office with the intent to discuss our thoughts that evening and decide if I wanted to proceed with the desired dream of breast implants. Not even 4 hours later, I reached out to my boyfriend too excited to wait until that evening deciding to move forward with the augmentation. He supported my decision. Then the other kicker was I was looking to get the procedure like yesterday (aka as soon as possible). It happened to be a long weekend off of work due to a holiday so conveniently thought how perfect would it work if 3 days (Thursday) from my consultation I could go in for surgery to allow me extra time to recover without missing work. I contacted Pam at Dr. Catellano's office right away. She immediately took my call in private and walked me through the steps to make it happen! All parties working together i arrived to Dr. C's office on Thursday morning for surgery. I was on my way home 2.5 hours later. I never took one pain medicine which i credit a lot towards Dr. Castellano's gentle talents. Friday, i had my post opp and was taught how to make it successfully on the road to recovery. By Friday of the following week, I had my second post opp and felt fantastic. 98% back to normal, small discomfort, but fully functioning on my own. I was back to work after the long Holiday weekend. Not missing work. It is now exactly two weeks since my consultation and I can't express my happiness. I look great, feel 100% and enjoyed every (every) step of the experience. My boyfriend and I have talked many times about how impressed we are from start to finish with Dr. Castellano's office, system and staff. This has been the best experience which has far exceeded any expectation. I am so happy! If you're considering this, I highly recommended to move forward with Dr. Castellano Cosmetic Surgery.

I went to Dr. Castellano for a capsular contracture repair and replacement of breast implants. He did an excellent job on several of my friends and my sister, which is the reason I went to him. Mine, personally, did not turn out good. The breast with the previous contracture is pretty disfigured. A lot of rippling and hangs much lower than the other. I think he is great for a first time breast aug but I likely will not return for yet another repair I will have to have.

Was referred to Dr. Castellano from a friend of a friend for my breast augmentation and after researching him I was confident in my decision. He suggested that on top of the implants I also do a crescent lift because one of my nipples was slightly higher than the other ( something that I had never noticed before). I also was very specific that I wanted my implants a little closer together than normal because I wanted that exaggerated clevage. Himself and his staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable both pre and post op, especially Pam. The results: I went from an A to a C and was very happy with the size. BUT the nipple that he did the lift on looks like something out of Frankenstein. It is now 3 times the size of my other nipple. So even though one was unnoticeably higher than the other, after the surgery it is VERY noticeable. Not to mention it is horribly horribly scared around the entire top half of my nipple and it is so large in diameter that I have a constant nip slip in most bathing suits and bras. Also the distance between my breasts is so vast that I can fit my entire flat palm between them. Unless I'm wearing a bra they are half in my arm pits, so I have constant side boob. Honestly not happy with my results at all which is extremely dissapointing considering the friend who had hers done by him look flawless. I seriously feel like a patient on the show botched.

They do not value customer retention, and customer service will reflect that. I've been a customer for several years, and have had several different services, but I will not be returning. I understand that offices can have various policies related to appointment scheduling, collection of fees and deposits, but they do not adequately inform you of such policies, or inform you at all. Nevertheless, they will hold you to them. I've had several instances where they've called to reschedule appointments on me, and I've made room in my schedule to plan for those appointments, but they've been moved. Don't think they won't charge you if you ever have to do it to them. Reception desk staff is cold and unfriendly. Edited to add: I understand offices having cancellation policies, and it's perfectly reasonable to have one. What's not reasonable: I wasn't told what it was until the front desk repeatedly called me to collect a fee.
