I love this practice! Love Dr. Ross, she is amazing! She is very thorough, caring and knowledgeable. She has a warm and friendly demeanor and makes you feel at ease! Today I called to schedule our annual skin checks and the receptionist went out of her way to make sure my two children and I all got in on the same day and time! Thank you Bay Dermatology and Dr. Ross!

Courtney Crocker

My experience with Cindy the Nurse Practioner and Jennifer for my peels has been amazing and they care so much about each and every one of their patients! The only negatives are the fact that you can never get in contact with the office because you have to always go through a Call Center that does not care about patients, making follow up very hard.

The appointment system needs some work.

Sue Murphy

wow- paid for 2 visits- $75 copay each only to learn i wasn't even seeing a doctor both visits! when i said thank you doctor, Cindy said i am a nurse practitioner!!! i should have know it was a bad place when i got in with an appointment rigfht away.

Leslie Green

Never had a bad experience at Bay Dermatology. And because I have horrible insurance (thanks President), they worked with me to offer cheaper, compound medicine since my insurance didn't cover anything.

J Pham

Definitely room for improvement with the staff communication but dr Ross is wonderful,

I made an appointment for two skin issues; neither of which were resolved. I’m sure they got what they wanted from insurance billing. They sent in a script to some pharmacy called SALHAB which didn’t work with my insurance company. I needed a follow up appointment with the physician, rather than with the nurse, but they did not have any openings for almost four months! Crazy! Waste for time and a copay. I won’t be back. Just an update. I made the appointment in October for February. They called the day before and cancellled. Worthless.

I waited 40 minutes, just to be seen for maybe 5 mins. Everyone was very nice, but the nurse practitioner was in and out before I could blink. Instead of having a conversation about my concerns she wrote me a prescription and pushed me off to the estetichian for a chemical peel. I specifically asked the nurse, who was the only person that stuck around about side effects with the prescription, was told there should be no concerns. I'm now reading about this prescription and all the side effects, none of which she explained or discussed with me. I still have so many questions, but feel like they just want to sell procedures and not actually educate their patients.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ross and Cindy for many years. I suffered from acne and rosacea throughout my teen years. I've tried countless products over the counter and ordered all the promising treatments online without any success. I discovered Bay Dermatology through a family member who suggested I visit Jennifer, their aesthetician. I was hesitant at first but after a few treatments with Jen and recommendations from Cindy, my acne was diminishing for the first time. Thanks Jen and Cindy, you ladies are the best!

Janelle Stephens

We had a great experience with Dr. Ross. They were able to get us in quickly, and were very polite and caring.

Miriam Mubaidin

I love my experience every time!

Christin Lilly

Wonderful, inviting, and warm staff. Will definitely go back! The office is well done and at a great location, convenient and easy to get in and out. Also Target is just across the street for prescriptions if necessary.

This experience was at the Largo office. It was with Dr Esguerra. He and everybody at this office, are the best at what they do. Dr. Esguerra is compassionate, intelligent, and the best person to talk to about anything that has to do with your health. Of course, your skin. I recommend to anybody that has a skin problem to go to Bay Dermatology on Highland ave. in Largo. There staff is awesome.

Dr Ross was very learned and kind. She addressed my problems in the best way. I would recommend her to anyone.

Amy Hooven

Well I see some great reviews and only wish I too would've had a positive experience. Unfortunately I felt I was being rushed, didn't get the answers or results I needed and yes if course charged full price both times I went. I was in and out in less than 19 min. I won't go back.

Allen Johnson

This place is a JOKE !!! The WORST PLACE EVER !!

Gina Dietz

I had something excised not frozen off of my nose and was told to call back for results. I called back and was told that nothing was sent to the lab and they would find out and call me back. No one ever called me back. I guess if it was Cancer I am out of luck! Stay away from this group.

Dr. Ross is an excellent dermatologist. Very thorough and professional. I would not change from Bay Dermatology because I have had many positive experiences since I started working with them.

Erica Conner Menendez

First visit to a dermatologist since I moved out to the Land O' Lakes area.... I was nervous at trying some place new (as prior to that I was driving to South Tampa to a place I've been going to for years). Everything was perfect! From my initial call, all the way to end of the visit, every single person I encountered was pleasant and courteous, and the building was beautiful & pristine (waiting room, bathroom, & exam rooms, all top notch)! I scheduled a routine mole check with ARNP Cynthia Weston who was professional, approachable, super nice and kept me calm even though a couple of spots had me concerned, & one had to be removed for biopsies. No pushy sales pitches to buy products or services I did not need. Other than providing me with post-biopsy care instructions, no products were pushed at all! I cannot recommend this office enough, in terms of the medical skill and bedside manner, friendly staff and their availability to answer questions. Love this office! I will definitely come back to Bay Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery for any skin issues!

I am a patient of Dr. Miller's at the Palm Harbor office. The office is very poorly run. I had to call to remind them to get pre-authorization from my insurance prior to my appointment. They called me the day before my appointment telling me they didn't get the information from my PCP in time to complete the process. I told them that was because they didn't start the process early enough. I had the appointment for at least a month and they dropped the ball. I asked to speak to someone who could help and Kaitlin was unable to tell me who that would be. Called the main # and was told I'd be transferred to the office manager. Turns out she was out for 2 more weeks. Finally was able to birddog a manager in the Largo office, Dave, who understood and agreed this was unacceptable. He lit some fires and low and behold the process was completed and I was able to keep my appointment. I explained to him and Kaitlin the importance of that as I'd arranged time off for it including the next day to recover. Called prior to going to the office to see how late Dr. Miller was running because I typically wait an hour. Was disconnected both times I just went on time out of frustration. Waited an hour again. Two interns came in to discuss the procedure with me prior to Dr. Miller arriving. The second intern not realizing an intern had already been in. I pointed that out and he left. Intern #1 came back to put numbing cream on my shoulder, all of this seeming to hold me off and "entertain" me while waiting for Dr. Miller. He poked his head in to apologize for the wait and disappeared. Nurses kept coming in saying he'd be in shortly and apologizing, however, this has been my experience on all 4 visits now, so this is typical. Dr. Miller seems to be a good doctor, but is spread out in so many offices (only in Palm Harbor one day a week) and always has interns shadowing him which means he's always running late and can't properly handle the patient load at each office. He'd do much better to attend fewer offices and give prompt, attentive care to each patient. I will look for a more patient-centered practice because that is in my best interest and because I want to support that type of medical practice rather than the all too common practice that revolves around those who work within it. Such a shame to see medicine become all about the practitioners and the office staff and no longer about the patients. I believe Dr. Miller is a truly caring professional and quite capable, but is simply over-looking the basics of good medicine. Patients first. Please, slow it down, focus on fewer locations and only have interns in on a schedule, not daily. I would gladly return if I saw that change and the office staff reflecting that attitude as well. I give this review to let people know what to expect as well as to offer constructive ideas for improving your practice, Bay Dermatology.

Cindy Weston and the rest of the staff here were outstanding. Highly recommended. Thank you, Bay Dermatology.

2 visits with my three year old son, waited over an hour both times only to see the doctor for 2 minutes. I wouldn’t send anyone in my family to this place, it is terrible.

Visited several times for a staph infection that’s still not resolved. four rounds of anti biotics and after my plea the second time that it still pressisted they insisted it was nothing to worry about. Now I’m dealing with the worst case yet.... haven’t been able to sleep and have been restless ever since. Never go here..... been charged several times for me just trying to go back just to resolve the original issue....

My son developed a very itchy rash which quickly spread over his entire body within a few months of scratching what he thought were mosquito bites. I took him to Bay Dermatology and by this time suspected it might be scabies mites from research I had done. The Dr told him it looked liked scabies and took a skin sample (painful), told him to wait 14 days for results and use cortisone or other over the counter for itching and sent him home with nothing. By this time he wanted to rip off his skin the itching was so bad, I started him on natural products recommended by the internet which helped a little. After 14 days the test result came back negative which I read happens very often when they do not scape the exact spot of the mite or egg. No follow-up calls to see how he was, or anything from this office CASE CLOSED! I called the next week to talk to the Manager and she made another appointment, by this time the rash had covered his entire body, including scalp and I have an outbreak from caring for him, washing clothes etc. Two very arrogant doctors look at his torso and legs which were the worst, and find out that he most likely contracted this from having unprotected sex and diagnose that it has to be a sexually transmitted disease, not even listening to me when I told them I had broken out with the same rash due to being the caregiver and exposed. You can get scabies through prolonged skin to skin contact, or infected bedding, clothes. They ordered a blood test and wrote a prescription for a anti-biotic, which may have helped a little but did nothing for the rash or itching and did not address the real problem. CASE CLOSED FOR THESE TWO MORONS! I took him to our personal Doctor who immediately diagnosed him as having scabies and prescribed the proper crème to treat this and now we are on the way to ridding him of this parasite and I am also treating myself with the proper treatment. Trust me, find another dermatologist who will diagnose your skin problem properly and care enough to follow up with you to make sure you are healing and not just want to jump to a wrong diagnosis to get you out of their office and arrogantly say CASE CLOSED! I wasted $150.00 on two office visits plus my son has a scar on the back of his leg absolutely for nothing.

Great experience - friendly staff and knowledgeable. The care given was as if I were their most important patient - can't ask for better than that. As far as the procedure, it was done promptly and with utmost concern to keep pain at a non-existent level and to keep the incision site healthy and infection free. Made sure that insurance covered my procedure. I'm sure if it had not, they would have notified me prior to the procedure as to what my patient responsibility would have been before the procedure - unlike other health providers I have had to deal with recently. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Very bad at taking care of the blood work result, prescription refills, answering calls. I had an abnormality in my blood work but no one bothered to call me and inform me about it. I found that out after my 3 months visit. Prescription refill was another disaster. I give them 3 stars because the wait time is not that bad to see the doctor. They are pretty quick.

I went in 2015 for an annual skin check. A mole was removed and came back "borderline" and come back in 90 days. I came back, waited an hour and Dr. Ross took a 2 second glance and said "Looks good". Of course, they charged me copay and a visit to my insurance company. She also took off some skin tags and specifically told me not to worry, she would do it as a courtesy. I was later billed $125. I discussed this with her at my annual in 2016 and she said she would speak to the billing dept. to give me credit. I called today and the notes stated that she told me that it was cosmetic and that was the fee.

So I made an appointment to have a rash looked at on my arm. They took a biopsy and the nurse told me that it was to detect the cause of the rash. I made an appointment for 2 weeks later to get results and sat in the waiting room for an hour only to be told the results were not in and that they would call me when they received them. They then billed my insurance company for an office visit which took up my third and final visit for the year. Two more weeks go by and I call to get my results and they tell me its not cancerous and nothing about what could have caused the rash. Now they are trying to bill me for the biopsy and not to mention I had to go to a different dermatologist for something else and had to pay full price for the office visit because they used up the last of my allowed visits for the year. I called to explain the situation and the office manager was completely rude and ended up hanging up on me. Terrible experience would never recommend them to anyone. Wish I could give zero stars.

If you're expecting to be seen on time, don't. 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment (scheduled a month ago) and I'm still in the waiting room.

Cynthia Davis

They are not interested in helping anyone with real skin problems. My husband went with a life-long problem of rosacea and acne and the under-educated nurse practioner told him he had a bacteria infection and put him on antibiotics. They naturally did him no good so she put him on more and embarrassed him by saying he had to be cleaner. (He is the most fastidious man I know). Then she told him only to come back as he needed when she gave him NO HELP at all. Why didn't he get to see a real doctor? It took a lot to get him to go to another doctor and now they embarrassed him so badly he won't go back to anyone.

Barbara Gentle

I was here in December and had the best experience. I highly recommend this office and found everyone to be amazing. I will be a regular thank you!!
