I would refer this office to everyone I know.The front desk staff is so caring and the doctor is amazing.My 3yr old injured his hand really bad and the doctor knew what he was doing and suggested what I should do different and now his hand is a lot better from two days ago when he was in the office to today

I have been at the Tampa office for almost 2yr with out any problems. The staff are very nice. And Dr Scott Gargasz is a wonderful hand Surgeon. I well always go to his office and tell my family and friends. Believe me i have worked in N.Y.C. with Opera surgeon. Thank you for your service.

Sadly Disappointed

I went to Advanced Hand and Plastic Surgery for surgery on a broken finger. The dr.performed the surgery,then sent me home with Tramadol which I am highly allergic to. Being groggy I took it and my throat swelled shut,almost killing me. I was in horrific pain and vomiting, but the nurse was rude and said that the dr.had left the country on vacation,and there was nothing that she could do. I was in so much pain after having my finger sawed in half. After several hours she finally prescribed something else.The swelling got worse by the day.At my appt the dr wiggled the pins for about ten mins before pulling them out,while tears poured down my face.He mentioned that my finger was crooked. I told him that I could not bend three of my fingers. Instead of a new surgery,he ordered aggressive therapy. I was a CNA,Phlebotomist,took an EKG course,Cosmetologist and loved to paint and draw.He told me that my fingers wouldnt bend because I needed lots of agressive therapy,knowing full well that it would not work because my bone was put together wrong. I was in so much pain thatthat terrified me. He was cold and cruel and I was then so afraid of him and traumatized that I couldnt think about it without crying,and didnt ever want to go back,but when the swelling finally went down about two yrs later went to their other office in Wesley Chapel. I saw Dr. Gargasz didnt know me. He said that whoever did my surgery bent the bone too far to the right,and that even with a new surgery he could not fix it!! I was then devastated,after learning that telling me to receive aggressive therapy was a lie. I went to the front and requested my records. I never received them even after asking for them several times. I finally got part of them. I hoped that someone could give me a different answer and fix my hand. I went back to see Dr. Gargasz who then realized that Id had the surgery there,so he changed his statement and claimed that my finger was only "a little" out of place.. I tbought that my life was on hold,but actually my entire life is ruined . I just wanted my life back. I didnt want to hurt anyone. How am I suppised to take care of myself? They never once called to inquire about how I was doing or for any appt.. They never called to apologize. They never offered to help in any way,ever. They have completely ignored me and what they have done to me. I really thought that the pain would subside with time,but have excruciating pain that wakes me up at night. My finger has continual stabbing pain,and it aches in my palm and on the top of my hand and it shoots up to my elbow at times. Both of my other fingers ache as well. It is so unbearable that Ive tried to talk myself into requesting a complete amputation. I cry almost every night. I cannot stand the pain anymore. Its even worse with the cold weather. They should have at least offered to compensate me since they completely ruined my life.They chose to completely ignore it and do nothing,as if I dont exist. I called to speak to the owner,but was told by the person in records that they had no information. Since they do not care at all about what they have done,they certainly wont care about the next person they hurt either. I've decided to try to make sure that this happens to no one else. I read their ad on their website of how important our hands are, and was just stunned. Now you know what kind of people you are dealing with.

Dr. Gargasz and his team were very professional and met my every need throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend to anybody in the Tampa area!

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Gargasz's since 2016. He had wrist pain that was hindering his life. When we scheduled the appointment he was able to be seen in less than a week! The office was very nice and all of the staff members we came into contact with were welcoming and knowledgeable. My husband had to have an injection in the office and Dr. Gargasz made him feel very comfortable. Dr. Garagsz was very professional, but he was also personable! Overall, we had a great experience at Advanced Hand & Plastic Surgery Center and we have told our friends and family who need a hand surgeon to come to this practice!
