Dr. Heffelfinger removed a lipoma in my neck at the shoulder on 03/15/2018. One year ago. He only removed about half of the lipoma and the surgery result left me with numbness on the left side of my face, neck and shoulder. During followups I was told this would resolve itself. It has not. I agreed to wait one full year, at his request to post my review. I did. My face, neck and part of my shoulder remain numb and while shaving it's very uncomfortable and I still get to see the lipona that should have been removed. This will be my life forever. A bulge in my numb neck.

I highly advise against going here for fillers. My lip was brutally bruised in two areas for a week. I’ve been to several doctors since this experience, and I was never jabbed by them over and over when getting filler injected. I never had such bad bruising anywhere else, either. The filler also caused my lips to take on a bluish-gray tint for a month post-op, probably because it was injected superficially. Most doctors only have to inject you a few times with a needle or cannula, rather than 20 times (literally) while holding a strange vibrating device to your mouth to ‘numb’ the pain. This was after numbing cream was already applied for 15 minutes. I feel the only reason the doctor used the device was to distract me from being repeatedly jabbed since he took so long. The entire procedure took at least twenty minutes, when it should have taken half the time or less. It was so uncomfortable.
