I’m so happy I chose Dr. Restifo for my surgeon. I am absolutely pleased with the results. After the first consult of meeting with him, I felt at ease and confident with my choice. His staff is also very friendly and welcoming. I met with Rachel, the patient care coordinator, and she explained all the payment options and also followed up with me by emails and phone with any questions I had. The nurse Jackie, is also very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She did the 3-D imaging, as well as reviewing pre-op/post-op instructions and saw me at the post-op visits with Dr. Restifo. Everything went great. I highly recommend this practice.

Today, I spoke to you Lisa and I believe on or two more of your co-workers regarding an email I had to call three times to receive. I was yelled at, over talked, forced into voicemail and treated unfairly. You called me back to inform me that you sent the email and I found it in my junk email. During the conversation you and I had when you called me back, we confirmed my apt for January 9, 2015, Friday 3:15pm. At that time you informed me that my letter of recommendation from my chiropractor would not be accepted and that you would only accept proof of physical therapy. I called my doctor and he said he would send me what I need and he had never heard of such a thing. I called to inform you that I would have that information to send to you via fax, however, this protocol was foreign to my chiropractor and the office where I received therapy. At that time you told me, this was the policy of Dr. Restifo’s office. I informed you that if I did not fax over the information you requested in time, that I would have it in hand at my appointment Friday, January 9, 2015 at 3:15 p.m. At that time you (Lisa) informed me that you were cancelling my appointment because you just learned that Dr. Restifo has an emergency surgery scheduled for my time slot. I asked when I could be rescheduled and your response was, you don’t schedule that way, you would have to call me back. When I asked if someone else could schedule me since I was able to get my initial appointment over the phone by someone easily looking at the calendar you said no one else in your office would be able to look at the calendar to reschedule my appointment. I asked to speak to the doctor and you told me he was unavailable. I informed you that Dr. Restifo should definitely be aware of the way a potential client was treated today and I asked for his email and you told me it was on the website. Maybe my name gave away the type of person you would be dealing with but I have two private insurances and I also have the means to pay for surgery out of pocket. I was treated unfairly and extremely rude for no reason other than my name being Ebony and this is disgusting! People get to know who is treating you and has your best interest at heart because if your name gives away anything about your person you may just be treated unfairly.

I have recommended friends and family members to this practice. the one star review is warranted due to the abrasive and disrespectful treatment I received on my last visit, from Marie Celotto- Dr. Restifo's Practice Admin. As I was leaving the office, after seeing Dr. Mao, Marie yelled out of her office for me to come in, she wanted my license in order for me to use my credit card; I could not understand why, since I have been using my Amex for the past five years, without any issues, ever! when I pressed her for an explanation as to why, she did not have one; instead she rudely and unprofessionally told me that gong forward I needed to pay cash! I told her how insulted I was and did not understand her reasoning. She spoke to me in a loud voice and behaved more like a truck driver or prison guard than a professional working in a medical practice. I left and told her I would not be returning. she did not care. I called the office and left a message for Dr. Mao to call me. he never did!! After 10 Years of loyalty Dr. Mao did not have the decency to return my call. Marie Celotto is a crude, rude, uneducated hack, who should not be working at this practice. Furthermore, Dr. Mao is not the quality doctor I believed him to be.

Only after first meeting with him I felt kind of coldness from him but I did my research and really didn’t find better candidate to make changes to my body . After all everything came out so good . I was so confused with the sizes of implants o wanted to get for my breast augmentation but than just trusted Dr Restifo and he just came up at the day of surgery with his own idea and results are amazing. I was misled by what to expect from my breast implants. I never regained nipple sensation. It was later explained that since I'm so thin, certain nerves were affected. I wanted very small implants, just to "pick up the slack" after nursing. Instead I got breasts that are too large for my slight frame. I think I'll go to a woman next time. Maybe from a man's perspective bigger boobs are always better.

Ten stars. VERY EXCELLENT overall experience with Dr Restifo, Nurse Jackie, and office staff. Generally speaking, a vertical thigh lift is a complex and difficult procedure, and complications are typically more common than other body contouring interventions. THEREFORE, it was critical to work with an experienced, knowledgeable, realistic, and ethical plastic surgeon. Dr Restifo is all of these things, and more. Dr Restifo is a true “surgeon’s surgeon.” One specific thing that made a lasting impression on me is that Dr Restifo was accessible. During recovery if I had concerns relating to healing process — ON A WEEKEND — I called the answering service and in all cases Dr Restifo took my phone calls immediately. Whether it was late Friday night, early on Saturday morning, Sunday afternoon, etc... my phone call was always connected to Dr Restifo right away and he provided appropriate instructions. There are not many physicians who are this highly-dedicated to the wellbeing of their patients. I live about 90 minutes away from Orange CT. But after my initial consultation, driving distance was no longer a factor in my decision. I had high confidence in Dr Restifo and this confidence remains very high today, six months later. This is the first review I have ever written, but I felt I had to. Choosing the right surgeon is one of the most consequential decisions any person can make. If contemplating surgery, VERY STRONGLY RECOMMEND Dr Restifo.

Recommended by a friend to Dr. Restifo, and I couldn't be happier with the results of my abdominoplasty. I had diastasis recti (vertically split abdominal muscles) from two pregnancies, as well as an umbilical hernia needing repair. These were conditions I could not fix with diet/exercise, and was told by my primary care Dr that I would need plastic surgery to repair my condition. I am about 10 weeks post surgery now, and I have never had such a flat tummy! I feel amazing in my clothes, and am back at the gym (since about 5 weeks post surgery) doing 90% of the exercises I was doing before my surgery. I still haven't been able to do crunches as I normally did, but that is to be expected! Dr. Restifo was always kind and caring when meeting with him, answering all questions I had. I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for reconstructive surgery. He is amazing at what he does! Thank you, Dr. Restifo!!

If I could give more stars, I would!! I could not be more pleased with the outcome of my breast augmentation. From the very first visit the staff was very friendly and explained everything so well. They were able to get me in MUCH quicker than I expected to get in for my surgery. I think my wait was maybe 3 weeks, and would have been even sooner, if I could have gotten time off of work. Rachel was great and even gave me her number to text her for any questions I may have had. Jackie was great at answering all of my questions as well and even having me come back in when I was second guessing the size of the implant we had discussed. The number one thing I can say is LISTEN to the Dr!! Jackie, Dr. Restifo and I had discussed a 560cc saline implant, and on the day of the surgery he spoke about doing 600cc. I was nervous that they would be too big, but told myself that he is the professional and I am BEYOND happy that I trusted him to make that call. I have a broad frame so the bigger implant was definitely a great call. They look so natural, like they were made for my body! The after care was great and every check up was quick and they would answer my questions before I would even ask them. I would 100000% come back for anything else I may decide in the future. My results COMPLETELY exceeded my expectations. I HATED my chest before, and was so insecure and now I am in love with it! I have so much more confidence in myself. 1000% recommend Dr. Restifo!!

It's hard to say I loved it b/c I had cancer and a mastectomy that needed "repair" and the 2nd breast implant ruptured. Doc Restifo and Amanda along with the Temple hospital OR staff made me as comfortable as possible. I had a great deal of pain afterwards and disappointingly unable to remove the drain as soon as hoped, but today it was and what an amazing relief. The stitching is beautiful, already healing, no scabs. The office staff at Orange were courteous and kind. I don't think this difficult, experience could have been better "managed" anywhere. He didn't pressure me to get anything I didn't ask for and he also advised against me getting other things done , as my end result would not be to my liking. He listened to my concerns, answered all my questions and was very profesional . My experience with his practice has been phenomenal. Oh also Rachel at his office is the bomb! She is the sweetest and kept in touch with me ever since my initial consult up to know. You won't regret seeing them.

I am very happy with the result of my breast implants, breast lift, and tummy tuck. I saw several plastic surgeons in consultation, but Dr. Restifo put me completely at ease. He seemed very calm and confident to me. I liked the fact that he specializes in the breast and belly, unlike some of the other docs that "do it all'. He was very thorough and he even spoke to my family doctor in order to keep everybody on the same page. I had my surgery on a Friday and stayed over one night, as was sent home the following morning.. Although things were sore and tight at first, I was given the right meds to get me through it. After the surgery Dr. Restifo's office was very communicative. When I would call one of his nurses would pick up right away. I had several visits after the surgery and everybody..the doctor, his PA, his nurse....took very good care of me and my surgical sites. After about three months things settled beautifully, and I am in love with how I look. I have a great shape, and my husband is really happy too. The scars have faded and we are going on a winter vacation and I have several new two-piece bathing suits. I did not think that I could ever wear one of those again but I look totally mint. I would recommend this practice to anyone that is considering mommy makeover.
