Dr. Vasile did a diep flap reconstruction on me after I had a bilateral mastectomy. From the very beginning, Dr. Vasile made me feel comfortable (or as comfortable as you can about having major surgery). Besides being a very skilled surgeon, she was kind and caring. Her staff is great also! There can be a lot of headaches with paperwork and insurance hassles but Dr. Vasile's staff made it all so easy. That means a lot when you're already going through a difficult time. I feel extremely fortunate to have her as my surgeon. I would recommend her without hesitation.

When I learned I needed a mastectomy I was overwhelmed and anxious about choosing the right reconstruction method. From the moment I called Dr. Vasile's office and she personally picked up the phone to speak with me, I felt immediately reassured. Dr. Vasile is a surgeon and physician beyond compare. She is incredibly skilled, dedicated, meticulous, caring, responsive and accessible. In order to fit my surgery in so that I didn't have to wait weeks, she saw me in her office on weekends right before and after her scheduled trip. Her office staff are also amazing, they took care of all the details including advocating with my insurance. Dr. Vasile puts her all into her work. I had DIEP Flap reconstruction and only 6 weeks after my surgery I am doing great thanks to her!

I am in awe of the powerhouse that is Dr. Vasile. Her tiny body contains an amazing amount of strength, expertise and compassion. She did wonders for me with DIEP flap reconstruction after my double mastectomy. Her incredible work enabled me to recover from my cancer with minimal amount of mental or physical trauma. She is as thorough and professional as she is kind and empathetic. I cannot recommend her enough.

I could only say that I fully agree with all that has already been said by the other reviewers. Dr. Vasile and her staff are excellent! I travelled from Connecticut to see her at Northern Westchester hospital. Dr. Vasile is thorough, extremely detailed, kind, caring, and spends the time needed to answer questions and provide you options. I recently had a mammo and the technician, who's been in field 15+ yrs said it's the best reconstruction she's ever seen. Thank you Dr. Vasile and staff!

I don’t know where to begin to describe how absolutely amazing Dr Vasile is!!!! From the minute I met her all the way through my surgery and beyond, she has been fantastic. She is an unbelievably skilled surgeon. She’s so caring and warm. You will never get the treatment she provides with any other surgeon because she takes the time to discuss every detail with you, in the most caring way possible. She listens to your concerns and always tries to ease and fix when she can. She’s a perfectionist. Her staff Liz and Tammy are so caring and amazing. They help in any way they can, and help ease you when needed. I’m beyond grateful, and appreciate them so much. If I could give them a million stars, I would!!!

Dr. Vasile is extremely knowledgeable and takes all the time you need to answer questions and pro ide reassurance. You feel confident in placing your care in her hands. Calling Dr. Vasile a powerhouse would not even begin to scratch the surface. Her staff is the first point of contact in a very busy office and shows compassion with every interaction. I can honestly say I was blessed to find Dr. Vasile and could never thank her enough for what she has done both medically and emotionally for me.

Dr. Vasille has such amazing bedside manner. When I heard the devastating news about myself after my mom passed from breast cancer not that long ago, I was filled with all sorts of emotions. I was so scared I didn’t want to end up like my mom as I have three sons that need me. When I happened to stumble upon Dr. Vasille, the first time I met her I knew she was the right surgeon for me. She is patient, takes her time to ensure she answered any questions I had and treated me like more than just a patient. I felt like I could count on her, speak to her about anything and she was there. Let’s not forget about her amazing staff in particular Liz who went out of her way to support me through the difficult time. She spent countless hours helping me with anything I needed from getting in touch with Dr Vasille for me to offering words of encouragement when I felt I needed it most. I highly recommend Dr. Vasille as you won’t just be her patient you will be someone she genuinely cares about before and long after your journey with her. Thank you Dr. Vasille for saving my life!

Dr. Vasile is not only a skilled medical professional, but an individual who genuinely cares for the well-being of her patients. She has a gentle, calm, friendly demeanor that immediately put me at ease during what was a difficult and stressful time. She performed a DIEP flap bilateral breast reconstruction following a double mastectomy. Prior to each stage of the reconstruction, Dr. Vasile kept me fully informed of what each process would entail; making sure I was aware of my options and what results to expect during the recovery and final result. She even went beyond the call of duty to make sure I received as much detailed information about my post operative pathology report as possible. During my hospital stay and my post op visits with her, she not only checked the progress of my physical recovery but also took the time to ask how I was managing personally. Hospital staff, upon finding out who my doctor was, had nothing but nice things to say about Dr. Vasile. With her care, I was able to recover quickly and without issues. The reconstruction Dr. Vasile performed looks and feels both natural and beautiful. I could not be happier with my results and I could not have asked for a better doctor. She not only took care of me, but she kept my family informed of my progress during each surgery and answered their questions during my office visits (that meant so much to me to have a doctor that took the time to reassure my family during what was a stressful time for them too). Dr. Vasile is compassionate, has a wonderful bedside manner, is a doctor who listens to her patients concerns and makes sure they are as informed as possible about their treatment. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
