The moment I met Dr. Mahony I knew she was “the one”. I had been planning a breast augmentation for a long time and I knew finding the right surgeon would be the most important decision I’d make. I thought it was going to be the most difficult decision as well, but after leaving my first consultation I knew I trusted Dr. Mahony and her staff and so I scheduled my surgery with her right away. She really listens to you, and I knew she understood the look I was going for. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable and her office is very pleasant as well as pristine. I am now a little over two weeks post op and I couldn’t be happier. She gave me exactly what I wanted and really exceeded my expectations. My breasts look and feel natural, and people looking at me would never know I had a breast augmentation. My recovery was very easy. I had minimal pain the first few days and absolutely no pain after the first week. I had no bruising either. She is really an artist and I am so happy I found her.

Finding the right plastic surgeon can be a difficult task. You do your research, have a consultation and then you must make a decision. After my consultation with Dr. Mahoney my decision was easy. She is so gentle and caring. She really listens to your concerns and provides honest feedback. I went in for my eyes and neck. She was very clear on what could and could not be corrected. Once the decision was made everything went smoothly. By the second visit the staff recognized me and greeted me like I’ve been going there for years. I live 90 minutes away from the office and her staff were so accommodating with appointment scheduling. On the day of the surgery Dr. Mahoney made me feel relaxed and secure being in her hands. I am now just 2 weeks post op and I can say I am amazed at the results! I realize I have more healing to do but I already see a dramatic difference. The suture lines were so finely stitched they are already starting to fade. During my 3 post op visits I felt like Dr. Mahoney really cared about me and how I was doing. I absolutely made the right decision having Dr. Mahoney do my surgery!

My experience with Dr. Ellen Mahony was (and still is) phenomenal. She was the only doctor that had information on her site regarding the update of a breast augmentation (Breast Reconstruction Revision). I already had implants that were 12 years old (34DD) and after two children and three continuous years of nursing both, I desperately needed to update/have work done and I could find nothing on the subject until my searches finally led me to her. I updated them to about a 34B/C and I couldn't be happier with my choice because, as a 35 year old woman, my breasts look and feel like they are 25 again and so do I! The office is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The staff is excellent and always made me feel welcome at my appointments. They were always there to answer my questions, whether in person, email, or phone. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mahony to friends and already have! I know a few women my age that already have implants and are looking for similar surgeries. I will definitely come back to Dr. Mahony for another service in the future.

Three months post opp and the only regret I have is not doing this sooner! Dr. Mahony came highly recommended from two friends, who saw her for different procedures. As a 40 year old mother of 2 who breastfeed, I was left in pretty sad shape. All I wanted was something to fill a bra. Dr. Mahony is compassionate, caring and professional. You will meet with her a bunch, both before and after surgery. I did my homework before coming, so I did have some questions. Dr. Mahony is concerned with the overall look and feeling you are going for. This will be discussed in your consultations. She then uses her "magic" to make it happen for you. I wasn't nervous, and the surgery was a breeze. I followed all of Dr. Mahony's post-opp instructions, and my recovery was quite manageable. I hosted family events only 3 days later and was okay to do so. Now that I have had my implants for 3 months, I can say that they look and feel phenomenal! I went from a 32A to a 32DD with 275 cc high profile gel implants. The perfect size, shape and fit for my body - this was all chosen with consultation, by Dr. Mahony! I had my post-opp pictures yesterday and the only thing I can say is "thank you Dr. Mahony for giving me the confidence in my new figure that I've been missing all these years"!

After being overweight for most of my life growing up, as a young adult I made a conscious effort to change my lifestyle in order to better my health. I lost 120lbs over an eighteen month span and maintained the weight loss by eating healthy and working out regularly. With all the hard work I had put in, I still wasn't satisfied with my body. I had excess skin from the weight loss in my abdomen that wouldn't go away with months of focused workouts. I started to fixate on the sagging skin and began to structure my days revolving around workouts, weigh-ins, and food consumption thinking I would somehow be able to fix this on my own. At a size 6, I was paranoid in bathing suits, at the thought of my shirt raising too far above my pants- I was a 22 year old even more insecure about her body than when she was over 100lbs heavier. It got to a point where this obsession was hurting my mental health, so my parents suggested we find out if I was a candidate for abdominoplasty. I was and so after researching online, I found Dr. Mahony and as soon as she sat down in the room at my consultation, I knew I would be choosing her as my surgeon. It's been a month and a half since my surgery and I couldn't be happier! My stomach is flat and my clothes fit the way that they should. I'm not afraid to show my stomach and I've worn a bikini for the first time since I was little girl. Dr. Mahony did an incredible job changing the physical aesthetic of my body and with that, more importantly, she transformed the way that I look at and feel about myself. I couldn't be more appreciative for all the time and care pre and post surgery that she has put in. Thank you, Dr. Mahony!

In 2017, I opted for to have a Sleeve gastrectomy done to help with my weight. After losing 145lbs, I had extra skin around my stomach area and sought a surgeon in Spring of 2019 to help me with options for skin removal. I met with Dr. Mahony and opted to have an extended tummy tuck done. I could not be happier with the results from the procedure (I finally have a flat mid-section!), and the care from Dr Mahony and her team. After any major surgery, you have questions or concerns - and the whole team was fantastic at being responsive, understanding my individual needs, and showing genuine care for my results. Dr. Mahony even answered after hours texts or calls to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. The team took the time to help me understand the different options I had and what decision factors to consider when making my final choice of procedures. In my early twenties, I developed an insecurity about a very deep vertical wrinkle between my eyes (they also filled my forehead, but I wasn't super worried about those). Make-up would crease in it, it wouldn't tan but most of all it just looked terrible - to me. Most people would not get Botox because of this, and understandably so, but I decided around 25 that I wanted it and would probably get it. I had done no research on it at this time, and did have the slight fear of turning "frozen". I was introduced to Dr. Mahony and the Westport, CT office back in January 2015; at this time 27 years old. I was given a folder welcoming me to the office along with Dr. Mahony's credentials. At my consultation, I learned that Botox was preventative. Not that I was worried about being too young, but it did make me feel very proactive. I was educated on how my facial expressions throughout life aided in the deepness/amount of wrinkles on my forehead. I decided to get a few injections after the consultation and see what I thought over the next few months.The great thing (or worst!) about Botox is it's temporary. It took a little over a week for that deep wrinkle and some others to disappear, and once they did, I was extremely satisfied. My 2 additional visits this year to Dr. Mahony did not disappoint either. In all honestly, I did not expect to return every 4 months, but the pretty much painless procedure and excellent results kept me on board. The results looks so perfect that work acquaintances did not notice. Family and close friends notice a more youthful face, and my confidence is restored - which is all that matters to me. Dr. Mahony and the staff are wonderful as well. When staff notices you changed your hair, it makes your visits personalized, and you feel appreciated/remembered. 10 stars for my Botox experiences and Dr. Mahony!

I had a breast reduction procedure done in July with Dr. Mahony. From the first consultation, I knew I would be in good hands. I'm extremely timid and once I had my heart set on having a breast reduction, I realized that finding a surgeon I felt comfortable with may not be very easy. Finding a surgeon with whom I felt comfortable was a top priority. I had an unsettling consultation with a different surgeon before I decided to schedule a consultation with Dr. Mahony to see if I felt more at ease with her, and I am so grateful I decided to "shop around" a bit. She truly values her patients and took the time to explain every last detail about the procedure I would be having, should I decide to follow through. I had never undergone any sort of surgery before and was somewhat nervous about having an operation, but Dr. Mahony and her entire team really put my mind at ease. She's meticulous with her work and explained to me that she makes an art out of what she does. Her attention to detail is especially evident to me now that I have been recovering from the operation. I had the most fabulous experience the first time I went to Dr. Mahony that I went back again. She used Botox and fillers and I walked out of the office looking refreshed. When the Botox kicked in I looked like a rested 56 year old version of myself. I had no bruising whatsoever. Dr. Mahoney takes the time to listen to your concerns and is gentle.
