I am very active and moving makes my soul shine: skiing, climbing, hiking, backpacking, cycling... Losing my mojo due to knee pain and immobility was crushing. Seven weeks post total knee replacement I was able to climb harder in the gym than pre-surgery! I didn't realize how much pain I was in until it was gone. It is up to the patient to do physical therapy at home, which is challenging at times, but well worth a great outcome of pain relief. Thank you Dr. Kim and to everyone in your team! I am forever grateful. :)

The summary or what would happen, what I would experience, even the milestones I would experience throughout the recovery process were so accurate. My knee replacement has been like having the knee I had when I was 20. I am in week 11 of my recovery. I'm so impressed I am having my other one done - just 15 weeks after the first one. Honestly - the best decision I have made for my body.

Dr. Kim was gracious enough to come to St. Mary's Hospital, in Grand Jct. He and Dr. Nakano did a 2 nd surgery on a hip for my 82 year old Mother. Her previous experience had been awful and she was in so much pain. They had to order a special part and perform a 4 1/2 hour Surgery.
